TrueCore CrossFit has been absolutely transformative during my pregnancy. The supportive community and expert programming helped me stay strong and active throughout my pregnancy, and now I'm getting back into the best shape of my life.
For the first time in over a decade, I genuinely feel like an athlete again. The camaraderie at TrueCore is incredible - there's such a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere that makes every workout something to look forward to. I love that they use PRVN programming, which keeps the workouts challenging and varied.
My absolute favorite addition has been the new Hyrox classes. They've added such an exciting dimension to my training and really push me in the best possible way. True Core is an amazing CrossFit gym! The facility is top notch, and the the coaching staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. This place helped me get back into CrossFit after two knee replacement surgeries, and now I'm back to where I was before. This is a great place for a beginner, an intermediate athlete, or an experienced Rx athlete. Athletes range from their teens to their eighties. Everyone is treated the same, and it's not intimidating at all. I highly recommend joining this outstanding gym.

Before starting True Core's Transformation program I was unable to walk up my stairs without being winded. I was unable to maintain a healthy diet. I didn't feel good about my health mental and physical. I would normally get motivated for short period of times and then I would not lose any weight so I would give up. It felt extremely frustrating and discouraging. As if why even bother? This time working with True Core has been totally different! I am motivated to succeed and I have people assisting me on this journey. I also am having results even far beyond just the scale. I am already losing weight but the best part is I am able to walk up my stairs without feeling winded. My confidence has been boosted.I feel happier and more motivated to get out and move around. People at work are even noticing the change in my mood and demeanor. I would highly recommend True Core to anyone looking to make a change! Don't be scared! Ive not been a very physically active person during my life, except for chasing after children. I ate and binge watched television during most of Covid. BP up, weight up, physical activity, strength and endurance way down. I could barely walk down to the corner without experiencing breathiness. Almost two years ago, I received an email asking if I was ready to make some health related life changes. I thought this had to do with a Pilates ask that I had seen on FB. I responded, and not to be over dramatic, but my life changed as I knew it. And it wasnt Pilates—but I didnt know it until I set foot in True Core. It wasnt like any gym I had seen. I felt like I had made a mistake and wanted to leave before anyone noticed me but wasnt quick enough. A coach welcomed me warmly, introduced me to warm up activities to do, and then demonstrated some exercises using very low weight dumbells. She was so patient with me but I felt clumsy and inadequate. I have knee issues (both replaced), shoulder issues(rotory cuff surgeries), hip issues ( replacements in my future), vertigo when laying flat, and a general lack of coordination.I left feeling that I had made a mistake in coming, but felt guilty, because everyone had been so welcoming to me. The guilt part must have worked 😉, because I am still attending personal trainings, classes, and have even participated in extra activities. I havent exactly embraced the activities as something I love to do, but what I do love is a phenomenal group of trainers/ coaches and the camaderie among the members, especially during workouts. Throughout my membership, all of the coaches have been wonderful about modifying various strength-building and cardio activities so that I can participate fully and benefit not just physically but mentally and socially. Outcomes come slowly but steady: I have participated in two 5ks ( walking ), have dead lifted 100 lbs ( starting from 10), lost weight, improved my sleep, can stand from a low sitting position without using hands to push off, to name a few. True Core has provided me with tools to attain strength and flexibility for my day to day activities. At my age, that’s perfect for me.💪😊

I went to True Core after being Robbed at my job! The robber told me to get on the ground , then he said “ no get up”. I was 72 and it was hard to get down then get up!!! I saw a True Core post on Facebook I called them, Made an appt . The coaching staff there is AMAZING!!! It’s been 2 years, I ran my first 5K race! Workouts are fun. Trainers are great and supportive. It is a little family. They will push you if you need or want it, but respect limitations. I like the age diversity because it is more user friendly for people returning to a gym after a long time. They allow dogs which is fun, if only my dogs weren't scared of the music!🎧 🐈

I've been training at True Core for two years, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. I started going to True Core almost two years ago. Before joining, I had gained a lot of weight, and my body was starting to develop medical complications from stress and a sedentary lifestyle. My doctor strongly recommended exercising to help manage my stress and control my weight. I tried going to the gym on my own, but I’d get overwhelmed by the equipment, the people, and not knowing what to do to get in better shape. Most of the time, I’d leave feeling discouraged and eventually stopped going.
One day, I saw an ad for True Core and decided to give it a try since they were conveniently located right next to my office. From day one, they’ve made me feel supported and not alone. They’ve helped me stay in shape and lose weight—so far, I’ve lost 20 pounds, reducing body fat and gaining muscle. The staff is extremely kind, and everyone there encourages you on your journey, whether it’s to lose weight or simply get healthier. It’s also nice to see other people transform not just in how they look, but also in their happiness and confidence.
Coach Jojo has been my personal trainer since I started and she has been truly a blessing in my life! She tailors workouts to fit exactly what I need and keeps me motivated. When I first joined True Core, I wasn’t sure where to start. One of the standout aspects of True Core has been the coaching staff especially working one on one with Maddie. They provided invaluable instruction on lifting techniques and the personalized guidance and encouragement helped me build strength I didn’t realize I had.
The PT training and classes have been a game-changer for me. By participating in regularly scheduled classes, I found the accountability I needed to stay committed to my fitness goals. These classes have been instrumental in pushing me beyond my comfort zone and achieving progress.
The results have been transformative. I’ve discovered that I am much stronger than I initially thought. This newfound strength has had a significant impact on my daily life. 🌟 True Core Virtual Coaching: Was a Game-Changer for me! 🌟
I’ve been part of True Core’s virtual coaching program for about 12 weeks now, and let me tell you, it’s been an eye-opening journey. Before I committed to the program, I struggled with motivation, willpower, and self discipline, to make positive changes in my life...especially with strength training workouts. Working out on my own was a constant battle—I’d often cancel on myself, and that wasn’t helping anyone, especially me! I am a person that needs accountability and True Core (Michele) gave me that...but I still tried to "cheat" and again, doesn't help anyone.
The Frustration: Finding that initial push was tough. I knew what needed to be done, but I lacked that kick-in-the-butt accountability, still struggling with it, but is WAY better. I NEED structure and a set time to show up.
What’s Different This Time: True Core changed the game for me. The personalized coaching (Michele) gave me the encouragement I needed. And it didn't hurt that I had already had somewhat of a connection with Michele, as she would visit Florida and take AND teach classes at my Jazz Fitness Center. It gave me a starting point, a plan, and most importantly, someone cheering me on. It makes all the difference when you have someone in your corner wanting you to succeed, even when things and stuff get in the way. The workouts became less daunting, and I felt more motivated to push myself.
Visible Changes: My gut health is improving, and I can feel it. But the real victory? My willpower. It’s not a complete overhaul, but even a slight improvement feels monumental. Saying “NO” to poor food choices is empowering—I’m finally taking control. I haven't had a French Fry in almost 40 days! That is a HUGE win for me; because if you know me at all, you know that I LOVE FF!
Impact on My Life: While I can’t pinpoint all the ways yet, I’m loving the positive shifts. True Core has nudged me in the right direction, but I know there’s more work to do. It’s time to invest in myself and keep pushing forward. I'n not gonna lie, some days are harder than others, especially when you have knee/shoulder issues. I hear Michele in my head with POSITIVE & ENCOURAGING mantras. And it also helps that she posts HER journey on SM showing that she is human too. Those posts always lift me up and give me the "I can do that too" attitude.

I’ve been working with Michele for six months, and already I’m noticing a difference in so many areas of my life — not just exercise and nutrition. After pregnancy, my core needed attention that it didn’t get for YEARS. Michele has helped me rehab my core safely and effectively, and there is quite a noticeable difference from where I was when I started. Michele has helped me to stay consistent. She’s been with me every step of the way, encouraging me when I need it and cheering me on for all my wins — big and small. I must say that I've been to a lot of CrossFit gyms but this one is the best by far! It feels like a true community as soon as you walk through the door. I'm always nervous to try new CrossFit gyms out but don't be as everyone is so kind and willing to help! You don't feel judged and I automatically felt like I connected with the coaches! They even email/text you to check in on you to see how you are doing. They keep you motivated and interested making you want to come to class! It's my getaway from stress at home and work. Before I started working with the True Core team, I struggled with finding the motivation to exercise consistently. I'd work out sporadically, allowing work, family, and other life responsibilities to overshadow my fitness goals. Time seemed to be catching up to me. As a guy in his 50s who spends much of his day behind a desk, I was starting to feel slower and weaker, and each morning seemed to bring a new ache or pain. I can even remember thinking, "Well, this is just the way it is as you get older." This past Christmas, I changed my mindset and joined True Core CrossFit. The results have been real and immediate: In just six months I've lost weight (about 10 lbs.) and gotten stronger, and I have more energy and feel more confident. Most important, my aches and pains have largely gone away. My back feels so much better. These great results can be attributed to two things: True Core's workout program and its people. The workouts are incredibly effective and efficient--one hour is all you need, which is perfect for a busy lifestyle--and I love their variety. But what really sets True Core apart is the people, both the coaches and the other members. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive, and there's no judging. Before joining True Core I kept trying to use programs that used to work for me 20 years ago. However, none of them made any real change. I would switch programs every 2 years trying to find the solution. I started to look at other plans but could not find the diet that worked for my schedule and the food I liked and could purchase at my Grocery store. I would lose a bit of weight but could not stay on the program because the diet was too restrictive for daily life. Or found the recommended food was not something I could prepare quickly or liked or understood how this was going to help me lose weight. The True Core Journey has provided me with a guideline for daily eating which provides me with flexibility in my daily diet. Their plan provides me with options that I can prepare ahead of time to keep on track for healthy eating. I feel that I am eating healthy now because I understand what my body needs for energy and strength. I have lost inches around my waist resulting in my clothes fitting better. I feel confident again in the clothes I like to wear. I have seen a change in my thighs, more tone, and I feel comfortable showing some of my thighs again in shorts! I have more energy and want to exercise. I love the strength training and the workouts! I am not stressing about losing weight because I have found my journey to better health, better body image and fitness. I am finding that the limitations I have had in the past due to my past injuries are no longer an issue. I would highly recommend True Core's Transformation program to anyone feeling frustrated at figuring out health & fitness on their own. My experience at True Core has been amazing! I joined as part of their 6 week jump start program and it has been very transformative and was exactly the step I needed to take to move forward in my fitness journey training for the Spartan race in September. I have been struggling to stay consistent with my fitness regimen due to personal life stresses and the loss of a significant other who was a personal trainer and would usually create custom workout plans for me. Every time I would begin to prioritize my fitness a combination of the processing grief and daily life would keep me from being able to stay motivated and consistent.
I have done CrossFit in the past and really enjoyed the sense of community and was fortunate enough to join True Core and already have a former coworker from Elevate Life and a long time friend from the music scene as fellow members and to show support. Working with Coach Ryan was amazing and I highly recommend PT Sessions with him! All the other coaches have been great to work with as well and weekly classes are challenging and exciting.
I can’t recommend this place enough and encourage everyone to reclaim their power and become their best selves and evolve at True Core.

Before joining True Core, it had been years since I enjoyed any exercise or physical activity. I had low energy, a lot of aches and pains, and a lack of consistency when it came to food choices. It had gotten to the point where the status quo just felt like something that potentially may never change, something I might not be capable of changing. I felt stuck. Before joining True Core, I had lost my way physically. I was not exercising or eating well. I was the heaviest I have ever been. I was struggling with a lack of energy, trouble breathing, and did not have a great outlook for the future with regard to my health. I had some leftover weight gain from the pandemic. Bad habits were everywhere and I felt overwhelmed at the idea of changing them. I have struggled with weight and diets all my life, and I was accepting the fact that I would ultimately fail once again. Since joining True Core's Transformation program I have made amazing progress, in particular making great strides with my nutrition. The "Pick 1" plan was so easy to integrate. On top of that, the incredibly supportive environment at the gym and the care the coaches have shown have really brought multiple elements of this together - in a much more profound way than my previous efforts to tackle these things individually. Tying it all together was the mindset coaching which taught me to give myself grace, accept when I mess up, and realize that this is a lifestyle change and one that I can do. I have seen so many changes already! Physically I feel better. I can see the muscle tone and weight loss already starting after just a few weeks. I breathe better, my clothes fit better, I have way more energy and less stress. My diet and choices are excellent - and when I screw up I don't treat it as a failure but as a learning moment. Most importantly I am self aware about choices and what I am doing - with diet, activities, sleep, etc. I still feel like I have a few more gears to use, and can make even better progress, but am quite pleased with my pace of change and the "stickiness" of these new behaviors. Days feel much more productive, energy and attitude at an all time high. I look forward to the workouts & my time at the gym. I feel accomplished and that these changes are permanent and not a challenge/diet/short lived effort. I would highly recommend True Core to anyone looking to make a change but unsure where to start. Before I joined True Core I felt like I was driving myself insane. I can sum it up with this phrase, " The definition of insanity is repeating the same things over and over again expecting different results. I was trapped in this kind of cycle and couldn't seem to break out of it on my own. Through working with True Core, I am making a conscious effort to rid myself of my old bad habits that do not benefit me. I have been working on keeping the mindset, that consistent workouts each day would lead me to where I want to go. I don't have to crush it every workout, I just have to workout every day. I'm still working and dealing through my setbacks, but I know I am in the exact right place to make the kind of progress I am after. I have lost several inches off my waist and see the transformation in body in the short time I have been here. So I’ve been here for about a year and found out about this place by complete accident. Decided to get some info from them and joined within that week. I was scared, nervous; a new gym environment I wasn’t used to and I had heard things about CrossFit gyms. This place is extremely friendly, I had people welcoming me every time I showed up and I didn’t even know their names and that’s a huge thing with me. The coaches are excellent in their craft and very knowledgeable and will go through movements in depth so I don’t feel lost. Absolutely worth the accident to find this place.

Consistency used to be a major problem for me when it came to working out. I got into a pattern of Starting and stopping, not following through. Going through that cycle so many times made me feel defeated and hopeless, as if I would be stuck in that rut forever. However, joining True Core's Transformation program has given me the accountability & support to follow through and keep going! I have gained a ton of more energy which is super helpful chasing my two kids around and doing shift work as a nurse. I had spent a lot of money on videos, apps, and supplements that I either didn't do or it didn't work. I felt disappointed in myself for not following the videos or special cookbooks. I had basically “given in” and was accepting that this is just how I'm supposed to look due to my age and family…. However True Core’s Transformation program has been a GAME CHANGER! I'm being held accountable!! I'm showing up even when it has been difficult. Being shown the correct way of performing the movements. For instance, pushups, in the Navy I did pushups just to find out I'd been doing them all wrong! They're much harder the correct way, lol. I already see a difference in my body shape. I've lost 4 inches around my middle, I’m more toned and I’m building muscle. My alcohol intake has drastically reduced b/c I am learning better ways to cope with my stress. I feel more confident and stronger. I'm sleeping better. I can put on my underwear, pants, and socks without having to hold my leg up or balance against something. Before starting the Transformation program at True Core I was really struggling with my energy levels and a general malaise about myself. I wasn't feeling happy with myself. I just felt unmotivated. I wanted to do something but my ability to start doing something just wasn't there. Had gotten out of routine thanks to COVID and was having a really hard time taking the steps necessary to get active again. Being a part of True Core I feel extremely supported and much more content. I LOVE this place. Before True Core I had no energy and poor strength. I was stagnant in my health goals and didn't know what to do next. I lacked confidence and wasn't super motivated in any aspect of my life. I felt run down, distracted, and anxious. I found myself doing great for a bit and then getting bogged down by what I hadn't yet accomplished. I lacked consistency and focus and was overwhelmed by so much content on social media. I was frustrated by my lack of progress and impatient for growth but couldn't stick to a plan. Through True Core's Transformation program - I'm more accepting of the reality of where I am on my fitness journey. My work with True Core has taught me to focus on the development of the practice instead of "mastering" the content—to be kind to myself as I'm trying new things, and to shift my excitement toward feelings of strength rather than numbers on the scale. Real change takes time — having appointments on the calendar helped create accountability and momentum. I see so many people at the gym (me included) working with what they have, and am so encouraged and excited by the idea that we are all working on something. Everyone has their own obstacle to overcome and that makes me feel like I'm part of the community. I love the mental aspect of the workouts - and can see that my attitude matters in terms of what I can accomplish. I recognize that I'm SUPER HARD on myself and that holds me back instead of it being the motivator I thought it was. I'm thankful for that feedback and the awareness that this program has given me about how I think about food and my body. It helped me create realistic expectations. I'm stronger than I think and more capable than I give myself credit for and that realization is worth the price of admission. I'm back to creating art and have developed several big projects. I've carved out time for my passions: dance, drawing, painting and cooking. I was a member at True Core briefly in 2017ish and found the coach-to-athlete ratio too low and new-athlete support inadequate. I recently attempted to rejoin (they’re the only local box with a class schedule that works for me) and found the process frustratingly scripted. Apparently along with their massive Facebook advertising campaign, they’ve adopted a client funnel process that requires a phone call AND (45 minute!) zoom consultation before on-ramp.

When I first started training at TrueCore I thought the warmup was the workout. I neglected my health pretty significantly throughout the pandemic and struggled to find the motivation to make a change. I’ve joined traditional gyms over the years and found myself walking on a treadmill and going home because I didn’t know where to begin. Through personal training with knowledgeable and patient coaches I’m learning to feel strong and confident in the gym. Through nutrition coaching I’m learning how to recognize and change decades of bad eating habits without the shame and inevitable failure of dieting. I felt like I could not maintain good habits long enough for long lasting change. I could lose weight temporarily only to gain it back. Before True Core I was suffering with body image issues and poor self esteem; I felt truly awful about how I looked in the mirror. I had little motivation to do anything, felt gross, and depressed. The frustration and negative self-talk was horrible. I felt like a failure, felt worthless, and that the only answer was to stop eating. I had a terrible relationship with food based on my history of dieting. So food was always my enemy, until I would inevitably give in and binge eat, which started whole body shaming issues all over again. It was an endless loop of failure. Since joining True Core, the change has been wonderful! The difference is this time I had a support system: Aline to teach me that food was not the enemy and to listen to why I was in the mental anguish I was in was a huge benefit. Then having Ryan push me to be stronger than I thought I was, not to give up, and give it one more round caused me to build my self-esteem and not give in to the mindset I had lived with for so long. My mental state of being is so much better, I feel so much better about who I am. I feel strong in mind, and I am most certainly stronger in body. My entire body composure has changed. My waist is smaller, and my hips and legs are leaner and more muscular. My arms and shoulders are incredibly more muscular and toned. But my favorite part is the sense of accomplishment when I finish the daily workout, when I sweat it all out and challenge myself to not give in. Overall, I am a happier person. My kids see it and are so proud of me. In fact, I've brought them with me to see how much work I put in and to motivate them. I have more energy and have a better mindset. I don't fear food anymore and understand how and what to eat to make myself stronger. I would highly recommend True Core to anyone looking to improve their health, fitness, or stress levels!

Before joining True Core's Transformation program I was having a lot of body aches and pains which interfered with keeping an active lifestyle. My fibromyalgia was constantly triggered and so was my IBS-C issues. I was constantly frustrated because I couldn't exercise due to my aches and pains, and it was affecting me mentally and physically. Before starting with True Core I had lack of motivation, a poor diet, and weak midsection. I had wanted to get back into an exercise routine but felt overwhelmed at all the decisions regarding it, where, when, how etc. I also didn't have a good support system in place. Having the accountability and motivation on a daily basis was really missing, and True Core helped with that! Now I have coaches and fellow members who help me out on a daily basis. Before joining True Core's Transformation program, I was struggling with lack of motivation, lack of accountability, lack of direction. I struggled with downhill slides. I kept attempting to make changes on my own but nothing seemed to work or stick. I felt like a hopeless failure. It felt as if I was standing at the base of mount Everest when it came to improving my health & fitness. But now everything has changed thanks to True Core’s program. I am recognizing and celebrating small victories which help me stay focused and on track. I have found a nutrition plan and workout plan that fits my busy working mom of two kids crazy schedule. The nutrition plan is super easy and very adaptable to any situation. I don’t have to make separate meals for myself and my family at dinner time, which is a huge plus. My energy levels have increased and I no longer find myself mindlessly snacking or stress eating because my body is satisfied by each meal. I have an amazing coach who has encouraged me every step of the way. If I do fall, she is there to encourage me to pick myself back up and get back on tract. I no longer get down on myself when I slip. I tell myself it’s just one day or one meal. 6 weeks into this program and I have already lost 20 inches!!!. My clothes are looser and my husband and friends are noticing the changes in my body. I am able to be a better wife, mom and provider because I am finally taking time for myself and putting my self-care first. I am definitely getting stronger each week with each workout. This Transformation program is teaching me the tools to make my health a priority in my life and make it sustainable. It is improving my confidence daily and proving to me that I really can have a family, work full time and still maintain a healthy lifestyle. I love that I am setting a good example for my children on how to live a healthy life/my best life! I have gained healthy coping skills for when stressful events occur, and I find myself responding instead of reacting. I am excited to see what the future holds and now living my best life! Before joining True Core's Transformation program I had an unhealthy relationship with food, low self confidence and no motivation, I was overweight, knowing what to do but lacking the care to do it. I was just so frustrated and felt like I was failing. Every time I would attempt to lose weight or become active, I felt like a failure for letting myself go. Currently I am facing a lot of obstacles in life, and throughout all of them I realized that my health is most important. I need to figure out how to be the best version of myself before giving to others. I am ready to begin a new chapter of my life, starting with putting me first. Before coming to truecore I was having a difficult time pushing myself in my workouts and seeing/feeling progress in my strength and endurance. Being able to workout in group settings, especially with other people who are just as motivated and driven as myself to work hard, has made all the difference in my fitness journey. You need a family like truecore by your side to push you and motivate you to be your best. You can’t replicate the energy you feel in a group class when you workout by yourself, it’s contagious and working out with your friends and coaches pushes you to greater limits. I've been an athlete my whole life playing for club and high school teams, once I graduated I felt unmotivated and lost trying to find a way to workout and move my body that I loved. Truecore introduced me to a new fitness experience that I immediately felt in love with. I felt like I was on a team again in a way. My fitness journey with truecore has been so enlightening. Ive gained a love for fitness and exercise with truecore that I never knew I had. Being able to incorporate strength and cardio in my workouts was a game changer for me that I absolutely love. I just finished my first month with the personal training at True Core and it is amazing! My schedule has been back and forth the whole time and they always go out of their way to make sure I am getting my sessions in. I moved here almost a year ago, and TrueCore has been the #1 reason I've enjoyed living in Annapolis so much. The coaches here at True Core are excellent! They truly care about your health goals and respect your limits all while providing top notch coaching advice — fitness and nutrition.
I was super impressed with how they handled things during the hype of the pandemic. Allowing members to sign out equipment for home use to go along with virtual workouts was a bonus. In the middle of the pandemic I learned I was pregnant. The coaches have made an effort to ensure that I could still train virtually (personal preference) even when in person training returned.

Shannon and her team at TrueCore are the best! With the support of our GM, they came in and did a Lifestyle Challenge with a group of us at my work. This program offered nutrition and fitness coaching and as well as a body scan to track your progress. The program was very easy to follow and what I liked best is that Coach Karen provided a lot of tips that helped you focus on making small changes overall to your nutrition so that you are not depriving yourself and then Coach Ryan was great with adding support and workout instruction to get you active. Seeing the results from the scan in terms of fat loss and muscle gain was very motivating and exciting! If you are thinking about doing a Lifestyle Challenge with your organization, joining the gym, or doing personal training at TrueCore DO NOT HESITATE. In town for a quick trip, so I dropped in to the 12:15pm class on a Wednesday, and expectations were exceeded. The space is incredible - very clean, stocked with all equipment, big garage doors (which I love!), and a strong sense of community (a CF must). Coach Melissa rocked it! She was super welcoming, attentive to all athletes, and informative throughout the warm-up, strength, WOD, and cool down. I loved my experience. True Core knows what’s up! I hope to back soon.

As a very gym shy person, everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. I joined specifically for powerlifting, so I can't speak to the actual CrossFit classes, but everyone seems to enjoy the workouts, and they offer day care, and CrossFit for teens and kids, as well as the powerlifting and Olympic lifting. So far I'm really enjoying it!

I've been a member here for about a month now and really love it. I've visited ~5 other Crossfit gyms (from moving/ traveling etc) and the quality of the instruction at this one was by far better than the others. Really supportive/ knowledgeable coaches and very nice members!

Joined last year. Every class I attended I got individual attention. Class sizes were small, and there's a huge focus on recovery and warming up which is great. I left at the end of the year after prices were raised by 1/3 with a 2 week warning. I was disappointed to leave but my family plan went from 235/mo to 400/mo for 2

Great CrossFit gym! Of the three boxes I've been to, this one has the most tight-knit and instant feeling of community when you join. The WODs and coaches are great, and they have a Sunday class- which is rare and AWESOME!

I had a fantastic experience at True Core crossfit. The coaches were friendly, the workouts intense, and the community welcoming.
I spent a lot of time with Coach Burns doing the olympic lifting classes. I highly recommend them to everyone. I recently moved out of state and joined a gym with a little more emphasis on that kind of training. The coaches are very happy about how easy True Core has made their job. I can't think of any higher praise than that!

Great place to test your fitness or to just get started. I was never a "gym rat" or liked working out much but some how CrossFit at Old Bay doesn't make me feel like it's work. Great community of athlete's and motivating coaches. Ownership takes great pride in keeping a very clean space and continually adding and upgrading equipment.
