I've been a member at Unrivaled Iron Gym for about 6 months and have had the incredible opportunity to train with Devin Brady for about 3 months. I can confidently say that both the gym and Deven have exceeded my expectations and significantly contributed to my successful fitness journey.

Unrivaled Iron Gym offers a fantastic environment for anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals. The facility is well-maintained and boasts a wide array of high-quality equipment: every type of lifting equipment you can think of, cardio machines (which includes new ski and rowing machines), extensive free weights & a dedicated functional training areas to suit all workout styles. I particularly appreciate the spacious layout and the friendly front desk staff. The atmosphere is super motivating, welcoming, not overly crowded, making it a comfortable place to work out. I was a bit nervous walking into a new gym, especially one focused on serious lifting. However, at Unrivaled I found a truly supportive environment rather than an intimidating one.

Devin Brady is an exceptional personal trainer who truly stands out. From our very first session he demonstrated a deep understanding of true weight training, exercise science, nutrition & injury prevention. What I value most about Deven is his ability to tailor workouts to my specific needs and goals, he keeps me ultra motivated even on tough days and most importantly I cannot say this enough, explains the 'why' behind each exercise. Deven makes fitness fun and engaging. He is a bodybuilding competitor and has extensive knowledge on ensuring proper form and the “how’s” of improving body composition and overall confidence. Deven is encouraging, professional and the education I have learned from him has transformed my body and overall health above and beyond.

My experience at Unrivaled and with Deven has been nothing short of transformative. It's a supportive community where I feel challenged in the best possible way. Unrivaled Iron Gym has state-of-the-art equipment, knowledgeable trainers, and a supportive atmosphere that motivates me to reach my fitness goals. I
joined Unrivaled Iron Gym in 2024 and began working with Heidy Williamson. I had a desk job working on average of 50 hours of week and was looking to get back in shape. Shortly after joining, I was forced to take a sabbatical due to a cancer diagnosis. I had 3 surgeries in 4 months.
I vowed to myself I would get back to the gym as soon as I had medical clearance. I began working again with Heidy. Heidy has been very supportive. She is a fantastic trainer so every session is filled with encouragement and positive attitude which empower you to work out even harder. I have been training with her 3 days a week and in 8 weeks I have not only lost 5 pounds, but am down one pant size. This is all due to Heidy’s training and encouragement. I would highly recommend Heidy and Unrivaled to anyone!

This is the gym we’ve been looking for! My husband and I recently joined and couldn’t be happier. There’s tons of equipment (all well maintained!), plenty of space for a variety of workouts, and mostly importantly— immaculate vibes. Was in town for business and was super eager to buy a day pass and try this place for a morning lift, however was disappointed. Instead of a employee, they had a heavy bolted-like door with a QR code taped to it stating “scan for day pass” and instructions on how to download a whole app to just use a day pass. Businesses need to realize some people don’t have access to a smartphone 24/7 to use. Maybe they will update their day pass procedures in the future and I can come back to try it. It looked super cool though

Just visited Unrivaled for their grand opening! Not yet a member, so my review comes solely from the visit I had. First, I want to say I feel like every gym should have a supplement store attached. If I could count the times that I’d forgotten pre-workout or protein, or didn’t feel like making a stop after the gym! It was really neat that this gym has that feature.

They also plan to house a physical therapist and chiropractor which is a fantastic setup for addressing overall wellness needs. The space is large and I didn’t feel crowded. I enjoyed using machines I’d never seen before in other gyms and noticed they were introducing some upgrades to equipment!

The staff was kind and the crowd was diverse which is definitely what we’re looking for! I could feel a sense of community walking through the doors.

My husband and I are definitely looking forward to returning!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this gym, or what I like to call “my second home.” From the moment I stepped foot into Unrivaled I was absolutely blown away by the most kind, helpful and welcoming people ever. From their empowering & friendly atmosphere, the hand-picked machines and their training programs, UR seemed to have it all. I stumbled in there after seeing an exciting new post about Frederick’s newest local supplement shop and immediately fell in love with the place. Marlon at the supp shop does an amazing job educating folks who are in the market for a new supplement—and he does so in the most genuine way. After having such a positive experience in the supp show, I broke my 9 year gym membership hiatus, and joined their BodyGoals program with Rue and Heidy and it’s been a sealed deal ever since. BG feels like a family of women that just give a crap about you. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive of your goals and are your biggest cheerleaders. This place doesn’t feel like a gym, but more of a community of like-minded individuals supporting one another’s growth.

I’m new to Frederick and Unrivaled was the perfect gym to get me comfortable working out in a new city. I’ve never liked big commercial gyms as I get overwhelmed with the crowds. Unrivaled has everything you could need from those large gyms, but without that headache. Everyone is kind, helpful, and works hard. Even when I’ve gone later in the evening, I always feel safe in the gym and leaving.

I joined this gym and BodyGoals in January 2025 and hands down, it’s the best program I’ve ever been a part of. As a woman, finding a fitness space that feels safe, supportive, and actually fun can be tough, but BodyGoals has it all.

Best gym in Frederick hands down. The gym has everything and can align with anyone’s goals. The equipment available is extensive and they have a machine for any body part you are focusing on. They have a large turf area for mobility and circuit training. Multiple power lifting platforms and squats racks. I was one of those women who had never worked out a day in her life until her 30s. I first reached out to Unrivaled after I had “graduated” from physical therapy for my hips — and I say “graduated” because I still had pain and extreme weakness in my hips and glutes. I made it clear that this was an area I wanted to focus on, so I could take longer walks without discomfort.

They matched me with Heidy, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the results so far.

She’s incredibly easy to talk and laugh with, even while counting down my reps — our sessions fly by. Heidy has challenged me in the best way, always making sure I can be successful while still ensuring I give it my all. She’s cheered me on, shared her own inspiring stories, given me nutrition tips, and helped me build real strength.

The program she created for me has been so effective that, after only a month, I was able to walk for hours on the beach (in sand!!) without any hip pain, which hasn’t been possible for me in years. On top of that, my body is transforming and defying gravity in ways I never thought possible.

I've been going to Unrivaled for about six months now. At first, I was overwhelmed by all the machines and equipment, but now I absolutely LOVE it! This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is incredibly accommodating. I have bulging discs in my neck and thought I’d never be able to do squats again, but at Unrivaled, I can do squats using the Pit Shark and other machines! The gym itself is spotless and well-maintained, and the equipment is methodically organized. The arm and leg machines are in their own sections, which helps me be more efficient with my workouts.

The best part about Unrivaled is Heidy! It's been almost a year and a half since I started working with her, and I can already see how much my body has transformed. I am not only in awe of Heidy’s knowledge, skills, and patience, but she also goes above and beyond to make sure I reach my goals and challenge myself. Whenever I’m out of town, I really appreciate how she always takes the time to send me a list of workouts to do. You won’t be disappointed!

Sarah signed me up in February. She was very helpful with setting everything up on my phone to get 24 7 access as I am older and not very good with the new technology. I have not had any issues with 24 7 access since I have joined on my phone. I love this gym and it has more equipment than any gym in Frederick. The 24 7 access is great also as I like to come sometimes later at night and not feel rushed as my previous gym closed at 10:00. They also have a variety of equipment to accommodate my shoulder issues.

Frederick has been waiting for a gym like this for a LONG TIME. When I go to a gym, I’m not impressed by a branded set of mediocre equipment, I’m looking for the high quality pieces that I know are going to push me past my limits. This place is a gym rat’s playground. Pit shark, pendulum, adjustable resistance profiles…it’s tough NOT to get a killer workout.
On top of that, the owners are responsive and interested in feedback.
Come to this place early morning and you’ll spot some serious competitors and bodybuilding pros working out side by side with midlife moms and literally everyone is smiling and encouraging each other. There’s no place like this…can’t wait until they expand and get a dynavec gluteator, reverse hyper and more turf for those of us ladies looking to really progress our posteriors.

Unrivaled is a great gym, BodyGoals is the best class!! The gym is 24/7 which provides flexibility (no more waiting outside for the gym to open!) and an opportunity to avoid the crowds. It is well-equipped with an emphasis on lifting but also plenty cardio machines.

BODYGOALS is an amazing class! Krista knows how to coach to get results and help us reach the next level. I had never lifted before working with Krista and now it is a regular part of my week. BG has an in person class 3 times a week (very important for form and getting the weight right) and has training available through the app every day. I go 2-4 times per week and can see and feel the results. BodyGoals 4 evah 💪🏼

First let me tell you a little backstory. I have been consistently going to a gym similar to a CrossFit gym for a few years, before that I went to Lifetime and paid extra to be in the Metcon classes. I definitely enjoyed these classes! Throughout the years I’ve wondered why I work out so hard and hardly see the results I wanted. The ideal body shape I’ve wanted(nice booty, toned arms )- I was never going to get by doing the full body/high intensity training I was doing. As I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed I don’t like change. My father and husband had near death experiences that made me realize how I was taking like for granted. I finally decided to make the change to Body goals and start at working out at Unrivaled. It was a difficult decision, but within the first two weeks not only did i feel my body change but my friends and family noticed the difference. I miss my old workout friends but this group is very inviting and full of loving people! I highly recommend trying it out to see how you feel about it! You wont regret it!

As someone who has been bodybuilding for the past few years and powerlifted in the years before that, I honestly could not think of a better place to train. All of the equipment is hand selected by the owners, who clearly know what they are doing as there are machines I have never seen at any other gym. These machines target different muscle groups in all the right ways, and I have yet to have anything worse then a fantastic workout at this gym. On top of the high quality equipment, the flow and atmostphere of the gym is unmatched. Everything is sectioned off based on what part of the body it targets, and all staff and more importantly all members treat the equipment with respect and keep every area clean. Love the set up of this gym; all the equipment is in excellent condition and plenty of weights to go around. I trained legs during our visit, and they have all the equipment I love to use and it’s all sectioned off in an organized way. One of the best gyms in Maryland for sure!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Unrivaled Iron Gym and taking advantage of a free workout session with Miranda. I must say, it was one of the best workout experiences I've ever had! Miranda is not only knowledgeable about fitness, but she also knows how to push you to your limits in the best way possible. The atmosphere at the gym is welcoming and energizing, making it a great place for anyone looking to elevate their fitness routine. I highly recommend trying out a session here, especially with Miranda if you get the chance!

The equipments are not adjustable for short people. I adjusted to the limit, but I found a way to adapt my workout. I still like this gym a lot, so I’ll give 5 stars.

Was eagerly waiting for Unrivaled to open up, and it did not disappoint! Frederick is dominated by subpar commercial gyms and this one is not that! It is a community driven gym with great equipment and great pricing, not to mention the only gym with a TSS combo rack! I've never seen one in good shape outside of Texas!

Marc and Blake have done an amazing job in building this gym and facilitating a community!
This gym finds itself in the perfect spot between other gym offerings in Frederick which make it the BEST option for those looking to take their strength training seriously without breaking the bank!
Within a year they’ll need to be open 25 hours a day instead of 24 because of how successful they will be!

Best gym in the area, Marc and Blake the owners are super nice, welcoming and have put together an AMAZING gym . I”ve been having issues with training and overcrowded gyms, people that don’t respect the equipment and it’s nice to go a gym that has people that have the same mindset. On top this place has some of the best equipment hands down state of the art old school I love it ! I’m excited to have this gym as my home gym now and thankful for the opportunity.

Have been really excited for them to open ever since I signed up. Went on their opening day and wasn't disappointed.

The atmosphere is great. It isn't a gym where people go to socialize and hang out. It's where you go to get you stuff done, and that's a great change of pace from other gyms in the area. The equipment is great! They have almost anything you could need to get your lift in. Another thing is it's very clean and well maintained.

Both the owners and the staff are extremely friendly, and you can tell how much passion they have for this gym. I am extremely excited to be able to workout here from now on.
