Valkyrie Pilates Silver Spring offers Pilates and fitness sessions for individuals, partners, and group classes. Pilates is a great fitness program to increase core strength and flexibility and can be done by anyone regardless of their starting point. If you are serious about making yourself a priority take a Pilates session and see how Pilates can improve your quality of life. Learn to move better and you will feel better! The studio works with pre and postnatal, pre and post surgery, and those working through other acute and long term medical limitations. Scheduled a class through their website and arrived at the Fraser address to find a locked and closed studio, no one in sight. Yet their site listed several classes back to back this morning so I was surprised that it was empty. Tried their number, no response to the phone call, and no way to make contact with anyone at Valkyrie. Come to find out there is a second different address listed in the class confirmation emails so it’s unclear where the classes are actually held.. they’re taking money for classes and not holding classes. Scam

I have been working with Liz for nearly a year and a half. A glued-to-my-desk couch potato all my life, I look forward to my pilates sessions with Liz. She learns and understands her clients' individual situations and concerns, and she knows how to tailor workouts to adapt to them. She also takes advanced classes to enhance her knowledge. I credit her sessions with making me stronger and helping me lose inches. I think the focus on strengthening core muscles has also made me more aware of my body position and posture.

Liz is hands down the best exercise instructor of any sort I've ever had. She is super knowledgeable, very patient, and helps me perform exercises I never thought I'd be able to do. I always leave our sessions feeling stronger and encouraged, but never in pain (except the good kind of post-workout soreness!). I can't recommend her highly enough!
