Update: my son has been at warriors since 2 yrs old, and my daughter started as 4 month old being carried in a carrier during her brother's parent and me class. My son has been with Coach Alana and now Coach Maddie since my last review and they both have been great! Love them dearly. Today my son trialed an older boys class and he was very nervoue because there were 4 or 5 other classes going on simultaneously, all the coaches were new to him, and at first I thought he wouldnt go through with the trial, which was fine. But he finally warmed up and decided to try. Coach Chris...so lovely! He was very understanding of my son's hesitancy. Very encouraging and hands on when skills were new and needed a little more help and just all around wonderful. At the end he said "The biggest thing will be paying attention, but I can see that part of it is that he is processing all the information I am giving him." I felt like he just really understood, and as a Mom, that was everything! Again, so thankful for warriors and alllllll of the coaches we've had over the last 3 years! You are all THE BEST!

Previous review:
I started my son in the fall. He has excelled and we have seen major improvement in his gross motor skills since having started gymnastics here.

His coaches are always very patient with him despite all the two year old meltdowns amidst his slight physical delays. His PT and OTs say that gymnastics is the best thing we could have done for him developmentally; and I couldn't imagine him attending anywhere more helpful, caring, and understanding than Warriors. As a former gymnast it's everything I'd want for a healthy gym environment for my kids!

This is only our second time attending the Bears and Otters classes here but so far I really like Coaches Madison and Amani. They’re both attentive, kind, patient and seem to enjoy their jobs. I like that they offer clear instructions and demonstrate everything themselves before asking the kids to follow. One thing that would improve our overall experience is if kids were allowed free play for the 5 or 10 minutes prior to the start of class if they arrive early.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this facility. My daughter was overlooked during her class, and when I raised my concern with the district manager, I received no apology or acknowledgment. They didn’t even review the video footage to understand my concern. Instead of showing empathy or trying to resolve the issue, I was told my daughter was barred from returning simply because I spoke up.

On top of that, during the summer there is no air conditioning. The facility is extremely hot, the air feels stuffy, and the smell is unbearable. My child was constantly placed in front of a fan in between sets just to cool off. This is unacceptable for a children’s program, and I would not recommend this facility to anyone who values fair treatment, professionalism, or a safe and comfortable environment for their child.

My daughter attends pre-school here and she just LOVES it! Coach Lia has been so helpful in both her academics as well as helping to develop strength and coordination through gymnastics! It's wonderful for my kid to have a place that let's her get some wiggles out at the same time as she's getting prepped for Kindergarten

Absolutely worst toddler class ever taken.Teacher is very rude to the kids. Loud at yelling and super quiet when actually teaching. Class was not engaging but facilities are good.

My daughter attends the preschool academy at Warriors and absolutely loves it. The teacher Coach Lia is extremely patient, kind, and offers wonderful guidance to little learners. I love how they incorporate gymnastics and play into the curriculum. We definitely plan on continuing at the preschool academy.

We love warriors! Between preteam, tot classes, birthday parties, summer camps, open gym, and parents night out we have done it all. My kids absolutely love the coaches and have been thriving since they started here.

My daughter is currently 2.5 years old and has been attending classes here since she was 9 months old. The coaches have been very patient and kind to her through all of her moods and terrible 2’s. The Coaches are very friendly and make my daughter feel special by greeting her by name everyday and helping to not only teach her gymnastics but also provide a sense of community and fun. We absolutely loves it here, so much so that we also attend open gym sessions and had my daughters 2nd birthday party there as well.

My daughter love coming here for her gymnastics classes. All the coaches are super supportive, work with the kids very well and she's been learning a lot. Also there pricing isn't outrageous either its very reasonable and in our budget. I'm glad we found Warriors Gymnastics.

We love Warriors Gymnastics! Our daughter (3 years old) started about 2 months ago and she has learned so much. She looks forward to "gymnastics day" all week. The coaches are amazing- patient and kind. My daughter looks forward to seeing her favorite coach each week, Coach Lia. We're so happy we found Warriors and can't wait to see everything our daughter learns.

We took our 21-month old in for a trial parent/toddler class. There was little to no direction from the multiple staff members involved, even though we reminded them it was our first time doing gymnastics. Some of the staff did not know how to work with this age group. For example, one employee kept telling my son to do something without guiding, touching, or helping him, and just expecting him to simply understand the words she was saying at his young age. No one from the gym followed up with us by phone or email to see if we had questions or to see how our experience was. There was so much noise and so many things going on at one time, even within this one class, it was overwhelming and difficult to keep track of. We decided to go to the Little Gym in Columbia, which was the complete opposite of every part of our experience at Warriors that I described. This may be a great gym for older kids, but we did not feel like this was a good fit for kids 2 or under (or even 2-3).

So much space for fun! I was here with family for a private event and this such a great place for parties and activities. They have a ton of equipment suitable for every age group from tiny ones all the way up to serious athletes. A very generous sized open floor, parallel bars, and even a vault runway with a foam pit. I don’t know much about gymnastics, but this place felt legit. I also spoke with the owners and they not only have elite experience, but they’re super passionate. Also, for those not athletically-gifted there’s a viewing area to watch everything.

Also, they’re a small business run by locals, which is a plus!

My daughter loves Warriors Academy. She used to attend another gymnastics facility in Severna Park but she prefers this and has excelled dramatically since enrolling in August. She used to be really shy about trying new things and doing things on the bar, but she's doing so well. No meltdowns, no crying, always being encouraged to try new things. I love that everything is electronic. If she misses a class I just login to the portal and reschedule. Automatically billed and automatically enrolled. No standing in line with a million others ahead of me to put my name on a sheet of paper or to get to the front to find out there's no availability (like in the old place). We love it here!

This is a brand new small business opened less than 9 months ago. VERY impressed by the facility, staff, organization and disinfecting policies that have all been implemented and carried out regularly by every staff on duty.

Excellent use of technology as we were able to sign up and fill out all required forms during non-business hours. We had our call returned the next business day and had other phone calls answered immediately. We were greeted and informed by multiple highly trained employees/managers/owners.

10 out of 10. Would/Will highly recommend.

Our daughter was so inspired by her positive experience she put together her own home gym. See attached 💜

They hire teenagers to be coaches with zero training in how to care for children. They have parents sit in a separate room so you can’t hear the lack of qualifications the coaches have. I was fortunate enough to witness the constant negative feedback from the coaches to the children with zero positive reinforcement. My child is greeted negatively and constantly reprimanded for being a child by a 17 year old coach and now hates gymnastics. Thanks!!! They also have no sick policy and just let kids cough and hack all over everything.

My child has attended since the grand opening. She loves it and continues to practice all she has learned on her own at home. The coaches and staff are very attentive and the gym is very clean and welcoming.

We have had such a good experience with Warriors Academy. It was easy to get my daughter enrolled, and easy to switch classes when our schedule changed. She has loved her teaches and is bringing home so many new skills she is excited about!
