Request to Coach Jake, sir - your classes seemling fun for kids to start with on first impression you need to pay same attention to all kids not just select few kids or to impress only select few parents... Please give equal importance and show same focus on all KIDS..repeatedly noticing class after class you ignore certain kids, please give same focus irrespective of ethnicity or whether parent watching, this is so sickening, just REMEMBER, irrespective of our skin color, we have same color of blood.

Great place to play tennis. Good old fashioned tennis bubble with 4 high quality, indoor courts and another 4 well maintained outdoor courts. They offer lots of group classes that are convenient and lots of fun. Coach Mike is great! Not too far off 70 so the commute from western Frederick isnβt terrible. Much more activity and friendliness than Iβve experienced at Tuscarora Tennis.

8 directors of tennis in 6 years, tells a lot about the owners. Look elsewhere for tennis academy coaching , for court rental place is great ! Enjoy !

This club is super. Great lighting and super surface which isn't too hard on the knees. π I've been playing there for 4 years now and I just love their clinics. You can sign up online and play for a hour and a half with similar level players. Everyone is super friendly which is great too.

This used to be a great place to take tennis lessons. Collin was fantastic! I don't know what happened, but he is no longer there. His replacement, Jake, is terrible. He is rude to the players and doesn't know how to make tennis fun. We have had to go elsewhere for tennis lessons. :(

Nice club. Indoor courts are nice. The grounds could be a bit more wider but it works.

We've been coming here for a year and really awesome club. My son plays Junior tennis. My husband is taking beg lessons. They have tennis and pickleball with indoor and outdoor courts. But... the coaches are AWESOME and that's a treasure in itself. This is becoming like home to our family and I can't wait till we all are playing! The owner is so accommodating too. There's so many events and fun things that it really has something for everyone as kind as you sign up and show up. Just do it!

Great tennis instruction by Jim Kohr. Intense trainer with a strong focus on technical development. Good junior program. Facility is older and needs to be updated, but coaching is solid.
Great party rental space

Signed up for an event for my brother for his Christmas present, but as soon as I got there the event was supposedly cancelled without any notice. We drove over an hour away to just be turned away. Well we had fun at the Tuscarora Tennis Club and will be going there from now on.

Eh. Very expensive. There are free tennis courts that i drive to in the development. Realizing that there are matches set up etc. Not worth the price.

I get non-member pricing for the court time what I don't get is non member pricing plus a $15 fee for court time. That makes for one expensive half of a tennis court. So unless it's an event and I'm invited I will not be playing tennis there again.
Again I don't mind paying more for an hour of tennis it's the additional $15 "non-member fee" that I disagree with. I paid $50 to play for an hour.
Not going to happen again
Also what's with the bathrooms, where the towels, showers look unused.
When compared to Tuscarora tennis Barn there's no comparison.
I'm being generous with three stars

Westwinds has a great facility including 3 outdoor courts and a first class bubble over great 5 courts which is air conditioned in the summer, and heated in the winter. Jim Kohr is making many great changes -- awesome clinics, fun socials, and most importantly putting members first. :)

Thank you NEW MANAGEMENT at West Winds. There has been a significant improvement since Jim Korh has taken over. The phones are getting answered, Members are getting priority over USTA and JR matches, new and improved Clinics with intensive drills, and social tennis is getting developed.
After being banned from WW by the previous so called head pro due to his personal reasons. Am happy to say that the new management has made significant changes for the better of the club and for the members. "Members comes FIRST" said Jim. And I appreciate that statement!
Look forward for high quality instructions, lessons, tennis, and Clinics. Most importantly the Beer BASH clinic every week! Impressive!
I encourage everyone in Frederick, Mt Airy, Woodbine, Ashburn, and clsoe to Frederick to attend some of the clinics and renew your membership. I see potential for WW with Jim K as the new management.
