Terrible management and lacks clear communication. The owner micromanages and doesn’t allow coaches to coach the gymnast. This facility is more for recreational gymnastics only. There is a lot of bias and judgment in terms of how the gym operates and the gymnasts often complain that the owner attempts to coach and criticize the girls, preventing the coaches from doing their jobs. This facility could use a course in ethics and conflict management to better assist the staff in communicating with its customers. There are also many issues as it relates to ethics and fairness.

My children have been coming here for the last 12 years and now I coach here. The years of experience, talent, and general love for the sport create an environment that have helped my children thrive. Not just here, but in life. Its given them the self confidence they need to succeed in life, a network of close friends, and a community of trusted adults they can depend on.
I started coaching this year and its such a rewarding experience to help pass down everything my daughters gained from coming here to the next generation of gymnasts.

After 2 months of having my daughter enrolled I just had to remove her today.
Not only are the “testing” portions not correct, how can you test on something that isn’t being done in class?? Oh! & someone please explain another way to do a hand stand?? Because I’m confused as to there being other ways to do this. Since my daughter has started in April/May I’ve sat in the parent area watching every single exercise being done. I can point who are the coaches that actually do their job & others that just stand around talking. As a paying parent I’m expecting way more out of classes than the side talks. The testing portion still doesn’t make any sense to me if it isn’t being done in class & then attaining a skill that my child has never done but marked as attained cause questions for me as to what exactly they are doing. Today was it for me when a “coach” decided to take it upon herself to tell the other coaches about my conversation with the owner after ease dropping. I still stand that coach whatever your name is, you are young & I was never talking to you to begin with I went straight to the owner because that’s the owner & the adult. If you were doing your job as a “head coach” or whatever you are to correct the other coaches then you should’ve done it in the comfort of an coach meeting without parents watching, nor children around- like I said…you’re a CHILD & young! For the owner to say she’s been in the business of gymnastics for 30 years & still doesn’t know half the skills is a huge red flag!! If you’re willing to just watch your child sit down for some classes while the coaches chit chat & not do all the exercises they are then tested for in 6 weeks…go ahead but you’ve been warned.

UPDATE: The job she did today was unfortunately ease dropping & then being young by gossiping about a parent issue that could have easily been discussed before or after class with the rest of the coaches & yourself. Not only did I see what she did but my child was also around, you should do better in training your staff to have professionalism with such incidents. Now that you are talking about testing & “open enrollment” begs to differ what you & I discussed earlier. Perhaps it gave you more time to think about what if this scenario happens again & what you will tell a parent because again being tested on something not learned is the issue I brought up that now this explanation you are now giving was not given to me earlier. Gymnastic is complex & it takes time to be able to learn a skill, but saying that these skills were worked on during the time my daughter had classes is a straight out lie that now you are trying to cover up by saying what you said on open enrollment & then saying “we try to adjust & break down training to make the student as successful as he/she can be” when she wasn’t even being trained on what she’s being tested on. You are the owner, your coach spoke for you- that’s concerning Mona, you been in business 30 years as you said & don’t know the videos you have on the parent portal nor know all the skills is concerning Mona. Like I said you all are the professionals here……. Or are you really???!!! I said what I said. I hope this is something you all can learn & take from. Your other reviews agree with the stance I have on the coach that decided it was her business to be in mines.

I went there to enroll my kid and know their program..but the front desk lady is super rude and unprofessional, she wasn’t willing to share any information rather asked me to go to the website and do enroll. She already assumed what’s in my mind!! I need to know the place before I put my baby there! I rather go somewhere else where people are more nicer..beware of their rudeness!!

I enrolled my child after seeing a few bad reviews since this place is close by. The bad comments are true. One of the teenage staff members yelled at me with my daughter standing next me and others looking on. This person was rude, unprofessional, and power tripping. I would complain but I don't think the owner cares. The place is dirty, smells, carpet needs to be replaced, and generally does not look good. Rather drive further for a clean, professional environment.

Being a gymnast here I can't even describe how much I love it! I was only doing it just for fun for a couple years and then they asked me to be on their team! I was so surprised! All the coaches here want the best for you and are so amazing! I really recommend going here! Great place and you'll make tons of friends!! When I was in recreational classes we had a test every 2 to 3 weeks seeing what skills we need to work on or if we advanced to the next level! And then we would test out however many months it was when we got to move up! It was so much fun!! Being on team now is more challenging but I absolutely love it! Competitions are so exiciting!!

Let me start off by saying this: I had no idea when I paid over 200$ for my child to join gymnastics here that her instructor was a 16 year old child herself. Not only is Savannah only 16, but she constantly bullied my child the entire 12 weeks she was in the class. I essentially paid almost 250$ for a kid to bully my kid. The website says it builds confidence, I beg to differ. Savannah broke my child's spirit by being so mean to her. I completely get that my kid was far from being the best in the class, she definitely wasn't. But she had never been in gymnastics before either. Savannah telling my daughter she didn't have the body to be in gymnastics and then standing there laughing and whispering right in front of her was appalling. My child might not be destined for gymnastics, but that's not for some 16 year old brat to decide. Please take your children somewhere else.

My daughter has taken the recreational class for two years now. The instructors are helpful and friendly. The front desk staff is friendly and explains the payment options and requirements to be promoted to the next level well. My daughter loves being at Win Win and really wants to be part of the competition team yet, the practice times for the competition teams are early in the evening. I work in D.C. and I would not be able to get my daughter there that early.

Love this gym, from the staff to the coaches. We've tried other area gyms and WinWin is the most organized and welcoming one around, and the kids get actual instruction and are working on real skills throughout their session. I also love that recreational classes do not occur at the same time as competitive cheer like some other gyms we've tried. The environment is encouraging of children's development.
