This place sucks. Make sure you read the fine print cause guess what you cant just cancel your membership for any reason unless you have documents to go with it or your have to pay for the full year before being done with them. Also if you put a cancellation in without documentation to support it or dont pay for the year when you cancel they wont tell you your cancellation was denied and will continue to pull from your account. Im sorry but it is no ones business health wise why it is being cancelled and you shouldnt have to pay for a year or the remainder of a year you are not using there. It is amazing how a business can get you. Never again will I go here.

Great little place to get your workoutπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈon they have a lot of equipment from cardioπŸš΄β€β™€οΈto weightsπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈalso some classes,childcare and a standup tanningπŸ‘™bed which isn't in the greatest shape because half the bulbs are blown out so if they changed there bulbs or got new ones that would be awesome and very appreciated but I've asked over and over for them to do so and they haven't and it's going on 2yrs and still same issue so that is a bit of a problem when I pay for tanning but it's something to give ya a tiny bit of color so it's worth checking out. I just Really wish the owner or manager would change the bulbs so it would be worth your moneyπŸ’°and 12mins of tanning. So again maybe someone could fix that issue"hint hint"...!!

This gym sucks! There is no communication the employee Paul is a complete idiot. I received a new chip card from my bank and because their system is old and crappy it didn't update my billing info. My number never changed! So Paul decides to get smart with me on the phone. I guess customer service doesn't matter anymore. I have other merchants coming off my card and I never had to call them and let them know I had a new chip card. I spoke to their billing company and the young lady was PROFESSIONAL. She actually calmed me down from wanting to kick Paul's ass!! She explained that the expiration dates on the card changed that's why it wasn't able to bill me consistently. That was still odd since I received my chip card in August and the payments still came out my account. They couldn't charge me the annual fee apparently. I asked Paul how to cancel my membership because his tone was disgusting and he stated "well first you need to pay your past due balance". Why are u discussing my past due balance now if you apparently couldn't give me info at the beginning of our convo because World Gym uses a third party payment vendor?? A-hole! I am canceling my membership because Paul is a smartass prick. The owner, manager or whatever can thank PAUL for losing a customer!! I will be sure to tell others about my experience with this gym.

Terrible gym, dirty, bathrooms smell, they open late and are always unapologetic about it. Imagine dragging yourself out of bed on a cold monday morning to squeeze in a workout before work only to find that the gym is closed. I called and spoke to the manager (again) and there was no explanation why, and sadly this has happened before, at least 3 times that I can think of. I have been members of this gym since 2007 and have seen it go from this to the "open door" policy where you were given a key (so many people complained that they finally just gave us all keys to shut us up). Now we are back to square one and I'm tired of it. If you're looking for a gym, better look elsewhere, this one is terrible and will let you down.

World Gym is great for a variety of different machines and free weights. For as small as it is, it boasts many different workout platforms including cardio, a large 2-tiered rack of dumbbells ranging from 5-100lb - increments of 5lb, 2 sets of barbells 20-110lb, cable resistance machines, the main room which has many HammerStrength (I think) machines, a room dedicated to personal training and locker rooms. The gym has a separate cleaning attendant whom does a fantastic job of keeping locker rooms clean and sanitized. There was a change of management within the last year (sometime after 2015 maybe) and most everything within got better, including the music playing over the gym's sound system and overall cleanliness. The price of a membership has raised $10 but I remain grandfathered in at original price so I'm super stoked. A few of the cable-assisted machines are broken and have been for a very long time but they don't seem to hinder anyone as there are multiple locations for same exercises performed. The staff is much more personable and helpful than the past year's. The new owner/manager always has a smile on his face and ready to assist with anything, as observed.

Not every happy with Would gym right now. It's 5:10 am on Monday June 6 th and no one is here to open the gym. This is the second time this has happened that I'm aware of. Last week on May 31 was the first time. I also pay for tanning and they do not replace the bulbs half of them are out. It's 5:16 and still no one here. Feeling frustrated. Other then that I like the gym.

Clean, plenty of equipment. I've never noticed a problem with the dumbbells. Competent, friendly staff. Patrons have been courteous and polite. Not fancy but very functional. I love it here.

Was a member for almost 2 years and it steadily got worse. Machines were broken and in disrepair. Decided to cancel my membership after they incorrectly charged my card. The service member at the desk was not able to help be that day and when I returned the I was told I'd have to pay the next month and the october yearly fee because I didn't cancel the day before despite the fact it was the employee's lack of training that did not allow me to cancel previously. I was told corporate would refund me the October fee and it never happened.

The gym itself is ok. A little small but enough to have what you need. I also felt the price of the personal trainers did not fit the service they gave. I tried to cancel my membership, filled out the proper paperwork, and was still charged for 3 months after the month I cancelled. I was told that because of the date I turned in the paperwork I would be charged for the next month. Three months later I'm still getting billed. I have yet to receive a refund and am currently playing phone tag with the person who supposedly is in charge of billing. All around, I have not had a good experience with this gym.

It's okay. You get what you pay for.
$30 one-time sign on charge, $10/month for no-classes basic membership.
$30 yearly charge in October (for upkeep of machines they say)
$180 first year, $150 each year after that.

Available machines, friendly staff, kind of gross locker rooms.

I joined this gym when it first opened, loved it.
As the years went by the service certainly declined.
I've had SEVERAL billing issues. The first time they changed management and neglected to continue my auto bill pay causing me ridiculous fees and back payment due...but was my fault.
Once that was straightened out I decided to leave the membership inactive.

After some time I thought lets join the gym again it's right down the street, new management it should be better wrong! The daycare hours are inconvenient seems like they only cater around the group exercise classes. On one occasion I put my child in there..from the treadmill area I watched the employee "watching" the clients children on her cell phone the entire time. And when I went to pick my child up he had gone to the bathroom on himself b/c the "sitter" neglected to take him to the bathroom. When I brought it to her attention she simply said "Oh I smelt something but I thought he just passed gas" fyi my child was a 2yo out of diapers.

That situation was the last drawl. After months of not returning I stopped in to cancel my membership FOR GOOD. the associate at the desk had no idea what she was doing, she was very unprofessional and called a trainer over to "cancel" my membership. Which I came in on the 23rd and that was too late in the month to cancel my membership w/o the 30day notice.
....which was fine and dandy go ahead do the last payment except I got charged for TWO ADDITIONAL months...one of them were refunded in the end. And tried to tell me I owed them $100+ from the first bill I mentioned before.

Of course I called to follow up on the closing of my account and that supposed bill due, I spoke w/ Melissa she assured me everything has been taken care off and I should have no more issues or bills due from WG.....How about a last week I received a bill in the mail from a collection agency stating I owe WG money from 2010 SERIOUSLY!?

Clean your gym up, get new mgmt, get new front desk and DAYCARE staff...those girls should NOT be watching children.

Oh my! Worst gym I've been too. It is a smaller gym so I didn't expect much going in, good thing.

Equipment: Gym is smaller but does have a decent variety of equipment for the size. The commonly used machines are always in use by the juicers. Good luck trying to access the dumbbells. A few of the leg machines are usually open. Cardio is only equipment that's typically available.

Staff: If you like see through yoga pants, Juicer PTs, and DB managers, this is your place. Two of the front desk girls were friendly.

Locker rooms: If you want to call them that. Two disgusting showers, 1 urinal, 1 stall, and a locker area where two is a crowd. Worst I've ever seen is an over statement.

Price: 10-20 bucks a month depending on the deal they're offering.

I would definitely go elsewhere. It may be inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. In this case you don't get what you pay for.

I've been a member here for quite some time, and due to the new management, it has gotten so much better! Its so clean now, staff is wonderful, and i love it. Its got a nice, homey feel to it. Members and the instructors are awesome too. You should def check it out :)

A little hard to find this gym and it wasn't in my gps, but it's off of Quarterfield. Worth checking it out - a lot of the equipment looks brand new! Smoothie bar, tanning, and daycare too.
