So tired of this place like the classes were cool but when you want to learn new things or attempt to the instructors some of them will look at you when you are thicker then the average women that go there and when you attempt to do a certain thing or try to learn there like umm looking at you and your weight like ummm let’s try to stay on the ground level stuff and it’s like you come there to challenge yourself smh however I’m done with this place for good gave it enough chances. S/O to all my thick pole dancer it’s possible you see it all the time on instagram this place makes it feel like hell

The best pole experience I’ve ever had! The staff is very knowledgeable, skilled, patient and welcoming. I’m not from the Baltimore area, and they were so helpful.

This studio is amazing! I was a complete beginner when I first attended. Even though I had no idea what I was doing, Leslie has been a fantastic instructor. She's very knowledgeable, and offers modified versions of tricks for those at different fitness levels or for those who may have physical impairments.
Pole dancing is a challenge, but it's fun at Xpose thanks to the wonderful staff.

Good vibes. Everyone was friendly. The class was easy to follow yet challenging enough to make it interesting. The facility is nice too. Definitely will come back!

Absolutely obsessed with this pole dancing studio! 🌟 the. Ew location is perfectly placed. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned pro, there’s something for everyone here. The instructors are supportive, skilled, and bring so much energy to every class. I love that they offer unisex sessions, creating an inclusive and welcoming vibe. Not into pole? No problem — their stretch class is amazing, Pole Fit is a total body burner, and the flowy dance class is pure magic. It’s seriously the best part of my week! 💃💪🔥

I’ve been coming to Xpose for 2.5 years now, and I still remember how nervous I was walking into the studio for the first time. That nervousness disappeared instantly thanks to the warm welcome I received at the front desk. As someone who’s a bit older, I wondered if I’d feel out of place—but age has never been a factor here. The environment is inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
I’ve taken classes with every instructor, and not once have I had a bad experience. Each one brings their own unique energy, style, and creativity to class. The choreography is consistently fun and challenging, and the music always hits. No two classes are the same, which keeps things exciting and fresh.
Every time I leave class, I feel stronger, more confident, and completely empowered. I’m not the same person I was when I first walked in over two years ago. I’m completely obsessed with pole now, and I owe it all to Xpose for helping me discover that passion—and for giving me the space to grow into the person I am today.

I've bought a pass to Expose that I never finished using because I found the teaching to be lacking. First, some of the teachers, while very pleasant, don't seem to put much effort into the chorero (and even admitted creating the dance in their heads on the way to the studio) and compared to other studios I've been to globally, they're too simplistic.
More importantly, they have a teacher, Alexis, who has the most unprofessional teaching behavior one could imagine. Normally, every fourth word is a swear word, and during one of her classes (the last I took from her), she was trying to teach using GRAPHIC analogies of heterosexual intercourse. For an hour and repeatedly. Some of the women spoke up just to say "wow, that's a lot" but she continued on. I'm far from a prude, but not only were her comments vastly inappropriate for anyone, they would/could be triggering for anyone who had experienced sexual trauma, and were assuming the whole class was heterosexual. Just repulsive.

I went to my first class and I did the $10 sampler package on Saturdays. Joy Clayborne was our instructor and she made us feel so comfortable and confident in ourselves. The whole class was smiles and overall a good time. I can’t wait to go back to take a Pole 1 class🤗

I don't usually leave a review, but I don't think this is the best place for beginners on pole 1/2 they teach too many tricks to keep up with especially If you don't have a pole at home or somewhere to practice and they move on from every trick pretty fast when you barely have gotten the hang of It. Then they say to come to the same class to be able to practice the same tricks, so basically spend more money when It could've been taught better and given more time in the first class. On a positive note, the instructor is really sweet and funny.

After attending classes 3-5 days a week for 3+ months, I already knew I loved the studio, the instructors, the level of professionalism, cleanliness, community, the list goes on and on.
However, I didn’t realize how absolutely amazing the studio was until I was traveling, tried another studio to keep up with my progress, and had a very not good experience at the other studios. I was able to then see, in comparison, how wrong I was. Xpose isn’t amazing, it’s PHENOMENAL.
The instructors are insanely educated & teach/cue/assist so well. I owe Melissa a bouquet of flowers for how much I have undermined how great of a teacher she is. I just thought this was standard practice because all of the instructors are so great. I didn’t know the level I was receiving was above and beyond what other studios had to offer.
The time and care that Jillian takes to offer not only a safe and clean environment but a place in which you will learn and progress so fluidly…is beyond admirable.
You can tell how much love is given to this space and I’m happy to have found it & to be a part of it.

When it comes to pole studios, you tend to have 3 distinct categories of what you could be walking into. 1. sexy/stripper vibes 2. skill/acro/technique vibes and 3. fitness class vibes. This studio falls very much into the 3rd category. If you're looking for a good workout, this is definitely the place for you. 90% of the routines/combos have sit ups/crunches/conditioning tossed in. I gave 3/5 stars rather than more because I personally prefer the studios that fall in the first two categories AND while I have not yet met all the staff, I have had negative experiences there more times than I haven't.
All that being said Jillian (I hope I spelled that right) is fantastic. She's sweet, talented, helpful, funny, and an all around awesome example.

Class is fun. Coach Ayesha is the best. Come with the willingness to learn. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Everyone is here to have fun and learn lol. Come and have fun. Friday classes are lit. It takes some getting use to but you’ll have fun trying something new. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re a novice or expert.

I absolutely love this studio I’m so glad that it’s here for me. Pole fitness is so much fun and the teachers are patient understanding and very instructive. Sometimes I can only partially do a move and I’m always encouraged and told I got it well enough and just keep practicing. There are even pole study classes where you can just go to work on moves you learned but aren’t confident in yet. This place is awesome and a great place to dance, stretch and get a great workout in.

Horrible, the woman at the front wouldn’t let me in AFTER I CALLED AND SAID I’d be 7-10 min late and she said “as long as no person had taken my pole I would be okay” when I got there *2 min past the time* she was disrespectful and belittling. Awful establishment with disrespectful staff. Never ever going back. If you want to go, beware the mean girl with the horrible attitude at the front desk.

I was reluctant to write a review because this is an extremely difficult time for local businesses. However, in light of COVID, any concerns with COVID precautions should be made known to anyone who goes to Xpose.
SUMMARY: After three trips to Xpose, my takeaways are that I feel (1) unsafe with its COVID precautions, and (2) uncomfortable with the environment.
As a newbie at Xpose, I’m new to the classes and how the studio operates. My first class was sexy chair with the instructor AJ (who was phenomenal). I didn’t know we needed to bring a yoga mat for sexy chair because it was my first time, so the staff kindly loaned me a yoga mat from the studio’s inventory of yoga mats located in the bins.
When I came to Xpose for a third visit, I signed up for sexy chair with the instructor Leanna. I forgot to bring a yoga mat so I retrieved the exact same yoga mat from last time because I thought that customary practice was permitted. Shortly after, Leanna reprimanded me in front of everyone. She immediately ran up to me, rolled up the yoga mat, repeatedly and sarcastically said these yoga mats were restricted for employees’ use only, and returned it to the yoga bins.
I. UNSAFE COVID PRACTICES:
1. Leanna (the instructor) did not sanitize the yoga mat after reprimanding me. While I’m completely healthy and have exercised caution throughout the pandemic, she did not exercise that precaution. By returning the unsanitized yoga mat to the bin, she puts her colleagues at risk.
2. Leanna put me at risk by running up to me without maintaining the CDC’s recommended 6 feet for social distancing.
Afterwards, I politely left before Leanna’s class started and spoke to the front desk associate Alex. Alex was very kind and validated that Leanna could’ve approached this respectfully while exercising COVID precautions. Alex kindly forwarded this to Xpose’s management. The next day, Claire from management called me.
II. POOR MANAGEMENT:
1. Claire from management stated “I’m sorry you didn’t know the policy [that the studio’s yoga mats are restricted for employees’ use only]. You crossed the line and there are signs and an actual tape lined out between the instructors and those taking the class. And I guess Leanna crossed a line” because I communicated my concerns with COVID. I explained that I thought this was customary practice after my first class because I was permitted to use the studio’s yoga mat. I thought there was a “line of tape” because it was to measure 6 feet for the instructor’s safety, not to bar people from touching the yoga mats. I also explained that I had no idea what was going on in Leanna’s life, especially when this is such a tough time for everyone, but I didn’t appreciate this instructor taking it out on me.
2. Claire, on behalf of management, responded with (a) “I have no interest in that,” and (b) “I don't know how else to make you feel comfortable at Xpose.”
3. I thanked her for taking the time to call me, and then asked if she could help me get in touch with the owner of Xpose. Claire stated “the owner is never or I guess rarely is ever around,” but I’ll be sure to have the owner contact you. When I asked if Claire had my contact information, she immediately said yes and almost hung up, but I asked her if she could read it to me to ensure they had my email too. Interestingly, there was a long pause and she said she “needed to pull it up” which took ~ 3 minutes.
CONCLUSION:
Overall, this was an unfortunate experience because my concerns with COVID and the studio’s management of this instructor’s poor actions were brushed under the rug. I expected bruising and soreness from the classes, but not poor management or bad COVID precautions.
Please be cautious if you decide to take a class at Xpose because you are risking your health, safety, and positive vibes. This unfortunate experience taught me not to trust Xpose to respect my health, my safety, or me.

Went in nervous and unsure of what to expect. I have taken three classes thus far and have really enjoyed them all though Pole 1 with Carmen who was filling in was the best. I enjoyed that the moves were doable, she was very encouraging, and there was an aerobic exercise feeling I am looking for. The community/regular clients were also great sideline coaches and cheerleaders :) The program offering is good though classes during the workday not just a MWF "morning class" would be something I'd like to see. I don't have a traditional schedule so the 5pm or later schedule doesn't work for me long term. In my short experience those two classes book quickly and for few newbies are you sorta limited to the classes most suitable for beginners.

This was my first time taking a pole class, and it was so much fun. My gfs and I took the pole 1/2 class with Karyn and learned some fun new moves. We learned a whole new routine and even how to swing the pole, this was my first try ever! Karyn was very good and helped make you feel sexy and good about what you were doing. The class lasted about an hour and Wasn’t expensive. I’ll definitely be back soon. They also did good with spreading us out and socially distancing, which is very important in this time.

Jess on Sunday mornings, Melissa's Monday mornings, Joanna, Tegan - great teachers. Also Monday night has become all-gender night! I love that they have added these.

Went to the free intro class back in October and I loved it! I didn't think I'd work up a sweat during the intro class plus my body was alittle sore the next day which was great cuz now I know it really is an intense workout.Sadly I had to stop going for a bit because I got my lower belly button pierced right after the class so I decided to wait a few months so it could heal. But tomorrow I'm going to the Level 1 class and I plan on attending the studio with my bestie more often.I was so bummed I had to wait a few months but I really wanted that piercing lol. Anita Ammon- Executive Director of Xpose Fitness took my money and could have cared less. Got injured in my first class, a major flair up from a previous wrist surgery. Paid $102 for a 8 class package plus shoes. Repeatedly called to speak with her about refunding the portion of my package that I couldn't use. Left my name and number twice. She clearly refused to call and could have cared less. I had no choice but to file a dispute with Bank of America. She very quickly responded to them saying I didn't return the shoes or try to attempt to contact them within 30 days. She never even bothered to call me back within the "time frame" because she never even goes into the Arundel Mill studio!! Bank of America told me to return the shoes, which I did to the other location in order to continue the dispute, to no avail. This is a horrible run business because the Arundel Mills studio went out of business in the meantime, and B of A sided with them because even they couldn't get my money back. Unbelievable. She should be ashamed to be doing business in this manner. What goes around comes around. Her ways of doing business will not bode well for the actual owners of this studio- they should find someone new. Business run like this will not survive. I'm appalled that I had to pay back $102 to Bank of America because of Anita Ammon. To make matters worse, I am an employee of Bank of America and they still couldn't do anything to help me. If you are looking to start pole dancing- beware they could care less.
