Awesome studio! The space is comfortable, props (blocks, straps, blankets, and weights) are available, and the studio is easily accessible. Sydney is an amazing teacher/guide. She helped me get into a bind that I haven't done successfully ever. I'll be returning again!

This studio is a true hidden gem. The practice here is so well-balanced — it’s not just about exercise, but about mind, body, and soul. And the space? Absolutely unmatched. The energy is light, uplifting, and unlike any other studio I’ve found nearby. They deserve a much bigger community of practitioners! ❤️❤️❤️

Finally there is a great spot for yoga in the heart of Historical Ellicott City. The location is perfect( plenty of parking), studio is spacious despite the building looking small, very cozy inside and the teachers are amazing! I had a chance to meet the owner and she seemed caring and very invested into making this new place thrive. Looking forward to more classes( hope there will be some in the mornings as well). P.S. This studio participates with ClassPass which makes classes really affordable.
Some extra feedback: it was a bit hard to find the studio from the first try, given there were no signs indicating how to navigate the building. Some extra signage would be helpful:)

I attended the grand opening of Yatha Yoga and took a morning class. The studio is easy to access with a large parking lot nearby. The interior is clean and beautifully decorated, giving it a very peaceful atmosphere. Shoe racks and a shared restroom are available as well. While I brought my own yoga mat, there were mats available for rent if needed.
Sydney's class was well taught and her expertise and dedication to her practice is evident. She is a wonderful teacher and I had a great experience! Highly recommend!!

Yatha Yoga is a beautiful space held by an amazing yogi Sydney. If you're looking for a yoga studio that teaches a complete yoga practice in the area -- look no further! Not only will you learn advanced asanas, but you'll also find the yoga at work.

First of all, I love the location of the studio. It’s located in Old town Ellicott city so it’s the perfect place to do yoga with friends and go out for dinner or drinks after. Parking is super convenient since the building is located in front of a huge parking lot. The studio itself is so cute and has a very homey and welcoming feel. I took the 90 min Yatha class with Sydney ($15 for a 90 min class is an amazing value!). The Yatha class consisted of yoga sequences and poses that left my body feeling relaxed and less tense after a long week. I really enjoy Sydney’s classes because she teaches in a very down to earth way that makes you feel comfortable and always leaving feeling more grounded. I’m looking forward to coming back for the next class!

Sydney is an excellent and capable yoga teacher. She provides a welcoming atmosphere, gentle and concise corrections, and knowledge throughout the session. I attended the Yatha session and plan to go back with my partner just so he can also experience Sydney’s instruction and the amazing ambiance of the studio! Thank you Sydney! It’s aspirational learning from someone so controlled in their movements!

I took a Rocket Yoga class with Sydney at Yatha Yoga yesterday and it was the most wonderful Friday practice. Sydney is a super knowledgeable and caring instructor and professional. Her class is fun, accessible, and truly honors the eight limbed lineage of yoga. Yogic philosophy is eloquently woven into this practice and it is something that is super meaningful to see holistically incorporated into a beautiful yoga class.
Thank you so much Sydney and I am super excited to take other classes with you in the future!

Sydney is very good. This class was more intense than the classes I normally take but Sydney was good at showing me modifications I could do to keep me engaged in the class.

Yatha Yoga is amazing in all ways. Sydney, the owner, created a space that is warm, welcoming, and inclusive to all. As a beginner, I find it intimidating to go to a yoga class with people who are more advanced. Sydney ensures that everyone is comfortable and teaches to all levels. Somehow even in large classes you always get individual attention. I couldn't recommend Yatha Yoga more!

Sydney is an amazing yoga instructor! $15 for a 90 minute class simply cannot be beat and the space is wonderful. I love that the classes are adaptable for all levels and can be tailored to what each individual wants to practice.

I love Yatha Yoga! It is super conveniently located right on Main St., which makes getting there really easy. I was looking to try something healthy and new for myself, and after some research, I found Yatha Yoga. Sydney is the instructor, who has such a calm and healing vibe--she made getting into yoga feel really natural and welcoming.
So far, I've taken Dharma Yoga I and II, and I've really enjoyed both. Sydney is super patient and great at showing the right postures, even if you are a total beginner. Each class helps release tension in my stiff muscles and brings such a nice sense of balance to my body. I also learned that the studio offers a mix of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Raja yoga flows, which keeps things interesting and challenging.
What I really appreciate is how Sydney teaches yoga not just for the body, but also for the mind. She has helped me understand how to listen to and respect my body and inner self, which has been really powerful. After every class, I leave feeling less stressed and more grounded, both mentally and physically. I honestly can't wait for the next class each time.
If you are thinking about trying or advancing yoga, I can't recommend Sydney's classes enough!

Sydney is an amazing instructor and person! I really love how welcome she makes you feel at class. Her talent for yoga is undeniable—I enjoy seeing her demonstrate more advanced options. I’ve been taking yoga for awhile (decades). Even so, I can see how she can help me to grow even further in my practice but also she’s so kind spirited to encourage you to embrace your practice where you are today and she’s very welcoming. The space is gorgeous with deep greens accented with natural woods and the ceilings have lovely crown moldings. Lots of natural light. I went on Friday and felt it was a great way to start the weekend.

The ambiance of this studio is amazing. I've been practicing for a while and it's rare to find 90minute class options these days. I also appriciate a diverse class and instructor who can accomodate multiple "skill" levels at once. Plus, you are right on main street and can treat yourself to a little walk around town after class. 10/10 would recommend

Sidney is an amazing teacher! I took her Rocket Yoga class absolutely loved it! It’s a great class for rocket fans and people who want to try the fun (but strenuous) form of yoga for the first time. I’m very selective about my yoga teachers and I have to say, I can’t recommend Syndey enough. She’s got a solid background and done a ton of training. I can’t wait to try her other classes!
