Kay is lovely, she made my first prenatal yoga class so memorable and personalized. She has a wealth of information and makes you feel at home, comfortable and safe while also making sure you learn technique and get as much out of the class as possible. Definitely recommend Yogismile!

I took my first prenatal yoga class with Kay, and it was a wonderful experience. She made me feel at ease and guided me through each movement with care. Kay was very knowledgeable and provided helpful modifications to suit my comfort level. The environment felt safe and relaxing, and Iβm looking forward to continue taking the class.

Really beautiful, peaceful space with an excellent instructor. It's not easy for me to be calm, but somehow each time I go I am and it carries me throughout the day! So grateful I found this studio!

I have been practicing yoga here weekly for a little over two years. All of the instructors are enjoyable to practice with, and they all bring their own particular style to each class they teach. I Definitely recommend a visit!

From July 2022: Enjoyed Jay's Hatha yoga. It was very informative, great for emphasizing alignment. While you didn't move a lot as in a flow, you still produced a sweat. I have had Reiki done by Jay also. I've gone to two sessions and the energy and relaxation was absolutely wonderful. I had hurt my lower back about 8 weeks ago and when I had Reiki, I don't know what it was but I started to feel better and focus on methods given from my chiropractor also.
From January 2022: Congratulations to Courtney and her husband. Courtney taught classes right up until she had her beautiful baby girl! Welcome to YogiSmile, Taylor. Thanks for teaching Courtney's Sunday morning class.
Taylor had a very nice style for Gentle Yoga. The extended hold on poses really worked your muscles but all the poses were just as advertised. Overall, a wonderful Sunday morning class.
From November 2021: Today's arm balance and inversion class was Fantastic class! Dave Terzian was amazing. You definitely get a workout and challenging poses by a great instructor. Thanks, Kay, for putting this class together. Will look forward to the next one.
From June 2021: I am still coming to classes and love this place. I have made so much progress and Kay and Courtney have been wonderful instructors! I now go 4 days a week, once in while 5. I also love the community feel of the other yogi's whether they are in the studio or on live stream. I'll be 68 this year and my balance, flexibility, stress, and bone health are greatly thankful!
From January 2021: Had to update my post as I have now been attending Yogi Smile for almost a year. They celebrated their 1 year Anniversary today with a Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath. My first experience and it was absolutely wonderful! You should try this even if you've never done yoga. Congratulations, Kay, on Yogi Smile's first Anniversary!
From March 2020: Have tried 3 different sessions and liked all of them. Went with friends with limitations/first timers and I, myself, had not been to a session in a couple of years. Instructors were very helpful and we enjoyed everything very much. Highly recommend everyone to come. Treat yourself, you deserve it!

I recently completed the 5-week Beginners Yoga and I have to say, I'm so glad I came to YogiSmile. If it wasn't for my cousin, I wouldn't have known about this place and I'm so grateful she put me on! When I walked into the studio, it felt so peaceful and calm. It's also very clean! Kay is an amazing instructor. She is so welcoming and so sweet. I love that she talks you through the poses and will ask if you're doing/feeling okay in between. She will also show alternate versions of these poses for the level you feel most comfortable with. Through it all she does it with calmness, patience, and a smile on her face. I've already recommended them to my colleagues. YogiSmile is the best place to start your yoga journey :)

I was in town for a few days and went to the studio for a yin yoga class.
The process of registering online was so easy and the staff was warm and welcoming as soon as I came in. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town and look forward to practicing yin yoga in the future. Thanks Marlene!

Decided to drive to this establishment today to inquire about some yoga classes & get a feel for the environment; just to get there & no one answered the door when I knocked & I called 4 times without getting answer β¦ not sure whatβs going on. Iβm not sure if the times are different than whatβs shown on google , as well as the phone number , however Iβm still interested based on the reviews. Will try again another day.
FOLLOW UP ***** EDIT ***** ( pretty late on leaving my experience) After their response i gained a better understanding; so I went to their site, made an account & paid for one Friday beginners class about 2Weeks ago to get a feel for the place & It Was EVERYTHING I Expected! Clean, peaceful, Sanitary.. Nice homey Vibe & theyβre very welcoming! My schedule has been kinda busy lately, however Iβll be paying for the 30 Day Class so I can return ASAP!β€οΈ

YogiSmile is a HUGE find for me in the Laurel area in helping me deep dive in my yoga and meditation practices. The owner, Kay is sooo delightful, caring, and supportive. And yoga instructors Courtney and Chelsea are warm and inviting. I enjoy the community and positive energy shared through the live online classes. I truly love being on my mat thanks to these ladies and being supportive by this studio. Whatever stage in your yoga practice that you are in, you are welcomed here. I encourage anyone looking for a close-knit yoga family to join, definitely a blessing. Thank YOU :)

I've had many yoga and meditation classes, in many places. This is the best. This is how yoga should be -- tolerant of our differences, respectful of our limitations, and aiming for physical and mental restoration. And the sound baths offered by Ian have, for me, led to a sense of deep and lasting well being.

A silver lining to the pandemic has been the world of possibilities that has emerged as we connect online and aren't bound by geographical locations. I've never visited YogiSmile in person, but have had some wonderful and incredibly unique experiences while connecting to them virtually. I highly recommend checking them out.

The addition of YogiSmile to Main Street has been lifechanging for me. I have been exclusively using the livestream option during this pandemic time. The instructors (Kay and Courtney) are able to create differentiation for ability levels and virtual vs in person with what seems like ease (I'm sure it's not easy). The centering, relaxation and exercise has been essential for my attempt at self-care. I am truly appreciative of the authentic encouragement they generously sprinkle onto us.

I want to give a huge shout out to the YogiSmile Yoga studio in Laurel for the awesome job they are doing to build community connections, especially with our elders. Kay, one of the wonderful instructors, reached out to my mom and encouraged her to join live stream chair yoga. It meant so much to my mom to have that personal connection and it got her back into some healthy mind and body habits. Simple gestures of outreach are so meaningful to our isolated elders. YogiSmile is just 1 year old. I hope you check them out. They do many livestream and in person classes. What good people doing such a good job!

New to yoga, I had concerns about finding a place that would make me feel comfortable and accepted. From the first moment, I was welcomed and invited in as if I had always been a friend. Lalita is so warm and encouraging and makes every session a joy. For me, the gentle yoga has been uplifting, taking place in a beautifully renovated first floor studio space awash with natural light and wood floors. The aesthetic of the entire house is one of thoughtful purpose. Shoe free at the entrance, they obviously work hard to keep the spaces clean and comfortable for all who visit. I am so thankful to have found this lovely space for my journey with this ancient and beautiful practice.

YogiSmile is a wonderful new yoga spot. The studio is located in a beautifully renovated home that breathes positivity. Kay & Courtney have such great energies in & outside of their classes & are both very personable. Their knowledge of the practice is evident & they are extremely welcoming to feedback. The atmosphere, as a whole, is calming & positive. Absolutely recommend.

I had been looking for a yoga studio since relocating to Maryland from Massachusetts in July 2019. I was anxious to reconnect to the yoga community. I am very thankful to have found Yogismile and become part of this community. Kay and her team are wonderful, the space is calming and the prices and yoga class package options are fabulous. Kay has done a beautiful job renovating this home in historic Laurel.

This is my second week of taking classes there and I'm already feeling and sleeping better. For instance, I had mild morning lower back pain it's now not a thing. I'm out of shape and was so glad that even though I was taking a moderate level class, I've was given options and props to get me on my way. I really like the mid-afternoon class availability. The studio is very serene and clean and the owner is a lovely and knowledgeable instructor. FYI, There is designated parking behind the studio.
