Answer is Fitness is a “bare bones“ gym. However,, it has all the machines, weights and other equipment to provide excellent workouts it is open 24/7.
At present—July 2025– its monthly fee is $15 + annual “renovation“ fee which in effect brings the monthly price up to $20.
So it’s a good, inexpensive gym for someone who is simply looking to work out on a steady basis, without any frills.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Personal trainer: their quality varies. I would NOT recommend this service.
I have been a member several years now and satisfied with what this gym offers.

I dont often leave bad reviews but i was just super disappointed when i did a trial run at this gym. I work nearby and the distance would have been so convenient. The staff was nice and they have all the amenities and gym equipment i look for in a gym. The problem is that this gym was absolutely filthy. The Sauna had clearly never been cleaned and the locker room was a disaster. The entire gym had a bad odor to it. If the prices were equivalent to a planet fitness i would understand but its not cheap. I do plan on giving this gym another shot in hopes they clean it up a bit.

Unethical and deceptive billing practices. Canceled my membership months ago only to find out they’ve been continuing to bill my card without authorization. They don’t cancel via email and ask that you go in person to fill out 1 simple form asking for basic information making the entire process inconvenient.

WARNING: Thieving member(s) with no integrity or respect! My girlfriend has had her $300+ Sony headphones stolen, wrist wraps stolen, and now her ankle straps have been stolen. The business doesn’t do anything about this. You should be looking into these incidents and BANNING the thief(s) indefinitely from ALL locations. We want to be surrounded by members who are good people who look out for each other, return things to a secure lost & found bin/system, and who do not steal like criminals. Unacceptable and LAZY ownership. What a great way to look after your loyal members (sarcasm)!

Came all the way from my house to workout there thinking of changing my WoW membership and get theirs but was refused to try the gym simply because my address on my license isn’t updated “close” to them.
Despite that I took a look at the gym and honestly, small and fewest equipment than where I am now.

Kept the membership for years for one off gym sessions when I am able to get to the south shore, despite them profiting hundreds from me for using their gym handful of times a year they won’t hesitate to rip out another nearly 100$ from you on your way out the door. Declining facility with aging staff who don’t know how to scan barcodes and look up visit history. Was a great gym but now that I’ve been to great gyms i understand how wrong I was about this place. This place is not the answer

I’m writing this review with a heavy heart, as I’ve never experienced such disrespectful treatment in any establishment before. Yesterday, I had a very negative interaction with a staff member at the gym named Jeff (or Geoff), and I feel it’s important to share my experience.
While working out with a friend, my friend had his shirt off as we were doing face pulls. Jeff, who was walking to the locker room, immediately began shouting loudly and angrily at us, repeatedly yelling, "HEY BOSS, PUT YOUR SHIRT ON!" without giving us a chance to respond or put the shirt on. When I calmly responded that it wasn’t a big deal and he’d put the shirt on, I was told “MIND YOUR BUSINESS.” My friend tried to address the situation by saying, “You can speak to me like a human,” to which Jeff replied, “HUMANS WEAR SHIRTS, SHUT UP,” before walking into the locker room.
Other members nearby heard the shouting and came up to ask us what had happened, as they could hear him from across the gym, which only added to the embarrassment and frustration. This entire interaction felt unprofessional, uncalled for, and left a sour taste in my mouth.
Afterward, I spoke with Lori, another staff member who has always been professional and pleasant, to explain what had transpired. Jeff then approached me while I was recounting the incident, stating, "Actually, I said 'excuse me, boss'," which was untrue. Lori did explain that the gym has a policy to keep shirts on, and we fully understood and were happy to comply; however, the issue wasn’t with the rule itself, but with the way it was communicated—loudly, aggressively, and disrespectfully.
As a result of this incident, I decided to terminate my membership, although I was informed my final payment will be due in March 2025 due to the 30-day cancellation policy, which I understand. Despite having an overall positive experience with the gym staff and members in the past, this one interaction was enough to drop my rating from a 4/5 to a 1/5.
My friend also attempted to share his perspective, and when we were walking away, Jeff offered a half-hearted “sorry,” which seemed insincere, especially after he had been so rude earlier.
I would not recommend this gym to anyone, as I would hate for anyone else to have to experience the same level of disrespect from Jeff. I wish the gym the best, but I can no longer support a business where customer service is handled in such a manner.

It’s good but not as nice as the facility in Foxboro. There is room for improvement on three issues: the worst thing is that the floors in the shower area are always flooded with standing water, which is really disgusting… Second, the showers themselves are like jet cannons, they’re way too strong that they even blow the curtains around. Finally, the wifi is poor in here, very unreliable or nonexistent signal in some areas of the building.
The 24 hour availability and sauna room is very nice, of course. Those are two must-haves for me in a gym.

I’ve called several times to cancel my membership only to be told. I have to come in person so I come in person during said staffed hours And nobody is ever there. I live out of state now so I try to come and cancel when I’m home and it’s really frustrating when nobody is ever at the front desk and being charged all this money each month for a gym I can’t even go to.

I love finally having another 24/7 gym local to me. The only thing I wish would be different about AIF Raynham, is that I wish they had more than one ab targeting machine. There is only a crunch machine (which is the best one I've seen from other gyms) but I wish they had something like a rotary torso machine.

Leaving 24/7 fitness and told the front desk at Answer that I wanted to take a look around. Clearly I am shopping. After looking around I decided I would take the week pass and give it a shot . I was denied because apparently I had been in the gym before. Thinking back, I might have done a month to month 7 years ago. I think the gym was under a different name back then. In any event, I explained to the women at the front desk I was leaving 24/7 and would likely join Answer but I want the free pass. Denied. What a great way to bring in a new member. What a great way to get back an old member. Either way, this is just bad business. If I was the owner and found out , I would be livid.

I've been a member of this gym for over 5 years and unfortunately had to cancel my membership. I understand that it takes 30 days to process the cancellation, but almost a month after cancelling, I was charged a 50 dollar annual enhancement fee for the FOLLOWING memebership year even though the owner says that the fee is charged 60 days BEFORE the anniversary of the membership. I politely asked the owner to remove that fee as it's unfair to to me to pay a maintence fee for the whole year when my membership would be cancelled almost 2 months prior to it, but my request was dismissed mulitple times by the owner. I am exteremely disappointed by the lack of customer service by the owner, espeically for a longtime member, and I am especially baffled that he would leave a petty comment under my review, which I originally did not give details for out of respect for the workers of the gym itself.

Very disappointed with the service my family is receiving at this gym. The first and only time we went to this gym, one of the employees was angrily screaming about something (not related to any sort of getting excited while working out) We have been trying to cancel membership SINCE JULY, it is currently almost December. They required a letter mailed by certified mail to cancel, we sent it and they are still trying to charge us. It's a hell no for me dawg.

Firstly, I'd like to address the issue of treadmills. I've noticed that some of them are in poor condition and are in need of maintenance. Additionally, the absence of clear signage indicating when a treadmill is out of order can lead to confusion and discomfort among the members. Having this clarity about equipment availability is essential to optimize workout time.
Regarding cleanliness, although this might not directly impact the workout, I would like to highlight that regular maintenance of common areas, such as restrooms and communal spaces, would contribute to a more pleasant and hygienic environment for all members.

Everything I want out of a gym and nothing I don't. Unlike many gyms I've been to, I have used almost every piece of equipment at the gym, and it's rare I find myself wishing they had anything more. And everything is kept in good condition!
The locker rooms are kept in good condition and the sauna is a great way to recover after a tough workout.

If I could rate this gym a zero I would. Locker rooms are disgusting, 30% of lockers are punched in or broken, showers are nasty. Premium membership offers towel service, but they took that away. Sauna is tiny (8’x3’)and some clueless humans will workout in there with weights. Management is tough to deal with, did all necessary steps to cancel (fill out forms, came in person), but was still billed for months on end. Lori will say she called you and left voicemails without actually doing it to officially cancel (and pay more cancellation fees) and will only try calling you once before leaving your membership open. Go to a different gym, place is gross.

This gym works with a financial group that began double charging me for multiple memberships. When I reach out to the gym they simply said they couldn't do anything so I told them I wished to terminate business with them. 9 months later I received a call that they had continued to attempt to charge me and then sent my balance to collection. Now having to sort through e-mail and phone correspondence in order to prove all this. Extremely unorganized and overall a terrible company to work with. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy as now their disorganization is going to affect my personal life. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR BANK INFORMATION.

Just do yourself a favor and pick a different gym. If you’re looking for modern or lux this is not the gym for you. It is a basic gym with nasty carpet and a good selection of machines. The staff are friendly. I had been a member at this gym for four years and never had an issue whatsoever until I wanted to cancel. I hadn’t been to this gym in months because I have moved away. You can’t cancel your membership over the phone or on the app you have to come in. So I finally came in on June 22 to cancel my membership before the next billing cycle in July. The manager said that I was all said the membership is canceled. Then he followed me out to the parking lot to inform me of their 30 day policy where you have to give the gym 30 day notice of your membership cancellation for no reason other than they want to squeeze more money out of you. (Why does the gym need a 30 day notice? ) so long story short he said that I would still be charged for the month of July. And I said that that was unreasonable because they have two weeks notice. And I said that I would freeze my account the manager informed me that he was going to send the $25 to collections. Mind you I asked if they could waive the $25 bill. Because from my checking history it was evident that I had not been to the gym in months. He Didn’t budge. When I asked for a copy of my gym membership he said he would email it to me. I called back and asked for it again he said he would email it to me and it still hasn’t been received.

DO NOT sign up here they'll get you with all the fees and even though they're 24 hours, they still have business hours. So if you go after there is no staff. They make it real easy for you to sign up online, but you have to cancel in person, which I feel like if you're offering 24 hr service there should be someone there 24 hrs to be of service. A lot of hidden fees make sure you read the contract real well and hire a lawyer in case.
24 Family Fitness in stoughton has someone there 24/7 last I knew. Try other places. This is NOT worth your time or money!

It's very clear they do not have maintenance staff. There's a thick layer of dirt around and under the machines and broken things (mirrors, hooks, machines) are rarely fixed. The gym is only 24/7 with the premium membership for $31/month. Otherwise you can only use the gym during staffed hours which is till 8pm during the week and 12pm on weekends....ridiculous!!
The equipment is very dated and not worth their membership prices so I went in to cancel. The lady became extremely rude and gave me attitude after I told her I wanted to cancel my membership. She told me I was locked into a 1yr contract and withheld the $99 cancellation fee option until after I asked

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Read the fine print before signing up on line. you think you are signing up for $30 a month when your actually signing your life away for a year. I signed up at the canton location which has NOTHING the other locations do, no tanning, no juice bar, no classes. So pretty much your paying for equipment. They were not willing to work with me dropping my membership down to something cheaper seeing as this branch offers nothing the other places do. They would not even work with me on that. The management is awful and rude as well. I do not live close enough to north Attleboro or Foxboro to get there in a timely fashion but I am thinking these locations are much better then canton one. However this company as a whole I feel is a rip off that only cares about the money and nothing to do with their clients.

Unprofessional manager running the gym in the canton location. She continues to charge your card no matter how much documentation you show to close it. Clean location but service is no go. The manager had taken money out of my account without a complete application and stated to me, “if you send the application and email maybe I’ll refund your 20 bucks back”. I said seriously? They are advertisement on the exterior of their building and online is 100% false. There is a lot of hidden fees. Get ready for some sort of contract. I use the gym very early in the morning so I need a 24 hour gym, so in this area it’s my only option. Men’s locker room is extremely small and showers could be cleaner. As far as the equipment it is definitely top quality. Luckily I work up the street so I can shower there.

Equipment varation is decent, it's got a sort of old school vibe inside. There is only one squat rack which is unfortunate, but there are a good variety of free weight benches. The one thing that kept me from joining was the fact that the 24-hour membership was too expensive and only included in the higher membership tier, which is not really competitive with other clubs in the area. Overall, this is a decent gym, but only if you plan to lift before 8 PM each day so you can take the $10/month plan. If you work late, seek another place to join and save your money.

I would say that this gym is great for the budget. I do enjoy going to this gym because it is spacious but it has it's downfalls depending on what you are trying to achieve. I am on a strength training program with a 3 day split that has me benching and squatting twice a week. This gym only has 2 olympic flat benches and 1 full squat rack (smith machines don't count, which they have two). Other then that it is a great gym that has a laid back atmosphere.
Update: Been living in Louisiana since August 1st, 2017, and as of now in January 2018 I'm still being charged. I was told that I needed to send a letter from my new residence to prove I live X amount of miles away. Needless to say, they need a utility bill or a copy of my license? What? Stupid cancellation policy and guess I will be donating until the end of my contract in March.

UPDATE 5-29-2016: AIF canceled all classes IN CANTON in mid-April, and hauled away all but two of the Keiser cycles and two junkers. Then they started up a few pay-as-you-go classes, $5 for members, $10 for non-members. If you want more than the occasional class, this gym is a poor choice, way too costly. Furthermore, if you want child care, then you need to have the top level of membership, $25-30/month. I dropped my premium membership to $10/month, but there will be a $59/year enhancement fee for my new year. That means it's really $15 a month for a full year, or $20 if you quit after half a year. This is still decent, if you can provide your own inspiration. Towel service is included in the $20/month membership, as well as bring a friend.
When I happened to be in Foxboro, I checked out their facility. The locker rooms are upstairs (I have bad knees), they did not have some key equipment that I use, and I was not particularly impressed. The limited number of spinning classes fill up half an hour before, they don't take phone reservations, and they begin around the time I usually get up. No way.
For the next couple of months, I am still a member, but I'll be exploring Fit Factory, which has spinning classes. Reducing to 3-stars.

The AIF management has been in place for over a year now. Everyone has been friendly and supportive. I did a round of personal training, and it helped. (I have been working out 5+ days a week for 25 years.)
There were various monthly teasers to get people to sign up in the summer of 2015, when I was making my gym selection (having recently moved to Canton). I took the top plan for $20/month in August, no contract. It appears that all rates are rising in January: I'll be paying $25, and new subscribers $30. This gym is still a good deal at $25, but $30 might have me scouting around again.
The management claims they have been doing good things to improve the place, such as the ten Keiser spinning cycles installed in Sep. (I have been doing spinning classes a couple of times a week - it would be nice to see some other males in there!) I'm generally pleased with the upkeep and improvements since I have been there. I should be: they dinged me $49 for an annual "enhancement" fee in Sep (after first month).
The gym is generally orderly, weights well racked, etc. However, some equipment is stored in the fitness classroom, so if you want to use soft-covered free weights, for example, on a weekday morning, you can only do so in a class. There was a shortage of mats, but a half dozen or so good but short orange mats appeared last week.
They have free playcare with the premium membership. My grandson cried and was unhappy the two times I took him there, a week apart. They say this is normal, keep bringing him: I would have, if I had him multiple days a week. Once a week, it was not worth putting him through it. I think it's a good program for young parents.
This is not a great club, but it's a very good one, and I'm happy with it. I also tried free passes at:
-- 24/7 Family Fitness ... pool ... way too warm and crowded; gym was fine, but AIF is much closer to me.
-- Elite ... when I drove out of the place, I was prohibited from turning left ...

When I signed up for AIF, not only was it clearly the best gym deal, it was much closer to me. Check it out: they gave me a whole week of free trial - at the other places, it was only one session. (I will probably never go to the other two AIF sites, only Canton.)

At Answer is Fitness, the staff is super friendly and there are all the machines I could ever need. Don't need anything else in a gym. Would recommend.

I like AIF. The facility is clean and modern. One complaint though, they had water damage to the studio several weeks ago and it still isn't fixed. Classes are now crammed into a very small, dark 2nd studio. It shouldn't take weeks to fix the room (4-5 weeks as of this typing). It sends the message that classes (almost exclusively attended by women) are an afterthought.
