I’ve been training at this gym for about a year. I feel right at home here, and the staff is really friendly. The place is super clean and has a family vibe. Best gym in downtown Boston!

Beacon Hill Athletic Club is a great little gym that has everything you’ll need across the board - great cardio equipment, capable strength and weight machines and a great staff always willing to help out - has a communal, neighborhoodly vibe that I very much enjoy!

I had a really disappointing experience at this gym. During my workout, I reached muscle failure and had to drop the dumbbells to avoid injuring myself. The owner immediately came over and scolded me for “damaging the equipment.”
If you’re someone who trains seriously, this place is not for you. The owner seems to care more about the dumbbells than the members’ safety.

Gym has good equipment and is well equipped for free weights with multiple power racks. Biggest downside is the locker rooms. You have to pay extra to use a locker or bring own lock. Showers aren’t very clean either.

Very much enjoy this gym! Highly recommend it. Good equipment although some treadmills are better than others for running due to slippage of the mat. Thoroughly enjoy and will keep coming!

I love this gym so much! It’s very casual, laid back and functional. No pretense, no “gym bros”, quiet, great machines and the staff is wonderful! I train each day and once a week with a trainer. I just wish the elevator was cleaner but that’s the building responsibility not the gym’s.

I just joined after not being in a gym in 25 years and I couldn’t feel any more welcome!!! I had a training session with Lyndsey and she gave me a routine and made me feel so welcome. Since then I’ve been doing 3 x week and I couldn’t be happier!!! I’m so grateful for this welcoming environment that has allowed me to conquer my fears and return to the gym.

This is the best gym I've ever trained martial arts at and it's for a great price. $139-159 based on your plan and it includes a full weight room with free weights, over a dozen martial arts classes throughout the week, plenty of open mat space for training on your own, and a locker room with showers and towels provided by the gym. The instructors and staff are super friendly and the community at the gym is also great.

I have been going to Beacon Hill Athletic Club for about a year now, it has been a great experience! As a girl, I was always intimidated in the weight room at other gyms, NOT the case here! Everyone is so nice, mind their owen workout and there is no judgement on what you do. The best part of it is the staff, they are so welcoming and friendly. This gym honestly makes you feel at home. My biggest shoutout is to the Gym Mananger and my personal trainer Jeremy! I signed up for personal training sessions from the start as I had put on A LOT of weight during Covid. Over the past year I have worked with him in Strenth Training programs. He always listens and is attentive during the sessions, makes sure you are doing the right form for each workout and keeps it fun! I owe much my weightloss sucess to him, overall I've lost 35lbs!
So if you are looking for a new gym and to feel welcomed and at home, this is your spot!!

I worked with Jeremy McCabe, the head Personal Trainer at Beaconhill and he’s by far the best trainer I worked with in my fitness journey! I’ve tried different programs and trainers and never got the results I wanted. When working with Jeremy he set me up with a program and I saw huge improvements such as an increase in strength and losing weight. He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fitness and nutrition and he gives you the individual attention you need to accomplish your goals!

Beaconhill Athletics Club is also one of the best fitness complex’s I’ve trained at as well. If you’re looking to go into a gym and focus on getting your workout done then this is the place for you. It’s a welcoming facility offering many services such as Muay Thai, Brazilian Ju Jitsu and many other classes!

I've recently joined BHAC and have really enjoyed the convenience of going to the gym on the way home from work. Their ladies' locker rooms are clean, bright, and have space to change. I've never had to wait for a cardio machine, and the gym is never overly crowded which I appreciate!

Coming from a long time member for about 8 or 9 years now....this gym does more than the trick. In a perfect location, BHAC North Station has been my staple between changes of homes, and changes of jobs. Right at North Station, is it the perfect way to start my morning after commuting in to the city. Close to the Charles River, I've utilized this area plenty of times for outdoor runs to accompany my indoor workouts. At night, there is electric hustle and bustle around the TD Garden. The gym is not overly flashy or pushy, and not a short-lived trend or niche, like so many gyms temporarily rotating through the city. The staff is excellent-- always welcoming with a smile, never pushing to sell or charge you more, willing to answer a question or assist in any way, while also staying out of your way at the same time to enable the perfect workout you came in for. The reason I have never left this gym in all of my years and job location changes remains the simplicity of the gym, combined with the care of the gym. You come here to work out, at your own pace, and in your own comfort. There is never a broken machine-- something that has been a massive pet peeve of mine at other gyms. It's a underrated delight knowing I will never have to worry about not being able to use a specific machine. They take care of the equipment and rotate in new items regularly. An endless option of cardio machines, and pretty much any kind of lifting or weight mechanism you could ever want is placed out thoughtfully for an easy flow of working out without feeling cramped. Mats, bands, foam rollers, and kettle bells are always available for use. I enjoy working out with regulars and new faces, ranging from ages all over of both women and men. One last final cherry on top is the classes the gym offers. Spin, yoga, combat.... you will never find a lack of something to do new, or new to try. I am thankful for BHAC's ongoing presence at North Station, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a gym, be it a college student, working adult, resident, or commuter. Thank you BHAC!

I have been coming to the Causeway Street location for over 5 years. It has all of the best equipment for both cardio and weight training. The staff is very knowledgeable and eager to help the members. In addition, it is a place where you can workout with hundreds of pounds or just with light weights and there is no judgement from anyone. You can also socialize with other members as much or as little as you want to. I do not use the boxing or MMA training, but i understand it is the best around. High grades for Jeremy and the entire crew.

I love this place. Staff are without exception super friendly and helpful. I lift here and also train at Combat Sports Boston. The instructors at CSB are all fantastic. I joined this gym 1 year ago after a move, it was recommended to me by a trusted coach. After months of settling I FINALLY made the call to visit and see the programs. Mat was FANTASTIC and kind enough to work with my schedule and show me around even though the gym was CLEARLY closed when I finally made it over. I attended a Muay Thai and jiu jitsu class and loved it, no need to look elsewhere this gym has it all! The training and environment has not disappointed. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

This gym is the complete package. There is plenty of equipment that will cater to any workout style. Whether you are getting personally trained, powerlifting, bodybuilding or just getting your steps in they have it all. The gym is relatively small, but everything is well-spaced. I like that it is not an overwhelming area. The staff are excellent and go above and beyond for their clients and members. In addition, the facilities have showers, towels, and locker rooms. Beacon Hill Athletic Club and Combat Sports Boston are partnered. I was first brought here for Jiujitsu. Again, they have amazing instructors. You can buy a membership where you take unlimited classes in Jiujitsu and Muay-Thai in addition to benefitting from all of the perks of the using the gym . If you are a commuter, this is an ideal spot — just a two-minute walk from the north station. I've been here for over five years and love how many options and support this facility gives me.

I've been training here for about 7 years now. It's a good gym. No crazy frills, but whether you're looking to powerlift (yay two racks) get fit, or just work on other fitness goals, this is the place for you.

The staff has consistently been kind, understanding and endlessly helpful.

You get clean towels that are renewed fairly often, the soap in the showers is great, and the gym is CLEAN.

Overall, a great place to go, good bang for your buck, and a really solid community.

BHAC is perfect for serious gym-goers. Friendly, laid back atmosphere but the people there are typically there for one reason and that's to get into better shape! (And the real reason it's 5 stars is because you can pretty much always get an open squat rack and / or bench press. Doesn't get much better than that.)

This is an awesome gym with great staff. If you are looking for what this gym provides, you're getting an amazing deal.

Highlights: combat sports, power racks, and cardio machines.

I've never seen a gym with such a high proportion of racks and benches to floor space. This is perfect for me, as I like to train almost exclusively with olympic weights. I believe only once did I show up and not get a spot on a rack when I needed it.

There are also many training sessions for boxing and jiu jitsu every week. If you ever wanted get serious about martial arts for not a lot of investment, this is the place to go. I don't do them personally, but I can easily observe the community, support, and hard work that goes into it. Amazing and positive experience to share the gym with these dedicated members.

I've been a member here since I moved to Boston in May of 2017 and I absolutely love it. I needed a place where I could do HIIT, take classes, box, but also lift and I found all that and more in BHAC North Station. The facility itself is well-kept. The staff and the other members are always so nice. The trainers are well-versed and always willing to help. I saw major results after coming here and even got into power lifting. I couldn't have reached my goals without the support I received from everyone at BHAC. Definitely an awesome gym in book.

My name is David Rossin, I signed contract with club at Cleveland Circle location on 11/4/2014: $56 for November and then $64 on 12/1/2014. On 11/5/2014 I got the first visit to this location.
On 11/6/2014 I noticed that the club charged my credit card $64 instead $56 per signed contract.
I called this location and explained what the difference is between my card charging and the contract.
Mr. Mark told me: "This is my mistake, contract is cancel and we're done with you"
I don't know, how I can describe this situation with this club: it's usual practice, or this is good for me...
Anyway, I'm not going to joint this club, or recommend to anybody...
