This is a great place to joyfully develop/maintain a deep physical awareness through breathing and gentle exercises, without any judgement of current body conditions.

A lovely, intentional, healing community that cares about people and the earth. Integration of energy, mind, and body without the need to achieve, compare, or perform.

I have been going to B&B in Cambridge for six months. I didn't know what to expect but just tried to be open. To my surprise,, i have really enjoyed each step. Practically, I am experiencing subtle but profound changes. One major change is that I have been experiencing uninterrupted sleep for the first time in more than two years. This is not a small thing for me. B&B teachers have been supportive and kind. I cannot say enough about this great resource for those interested in looking deeper into yourself.

The B&B facility in Cambridge MA is beautiful, spacious and light. The staff is caring and supportive; youre treated as a person, not a customer. They also give you a lot of personal attention. There are two 'Healing Rooms' and two bathrooms for a quick wardrobe change if needed. I didnt even know that it was a healing center, with a holistic approach, when I first signed up.
More and more people are returning "post covid" (post covid we hope), creating a greater sense of energy and community. The workshops they provide are interesting and helpful. Pre covid there were in person visits from Masters from around the country and the world.
There is a morning class Mon-Sat if you can make it to an Arlington class 2 of those mornings. Evening classes are held on 4 nights, plus 5 classes late morning thru late afternoon. They recently added online classes for when you cant make it in person. Zoom live classes are also popular. Both centers are on Mass Ave and are serviced by the 77 bus, one of the more reliable routes. It goes from Harvard Square to Arlington Heights.
I am hopeful that as more people join us, even more classes will be offered!

Felt like a lot of pseudo-science about wellness and being physically/mentally βhealthy.β I was told that depression exists in the gut and their program could essentially cure it. I had a one-on-one initial class and it felt very strange. During the class I was put into a very uncomfortable position by one woman while being told to relax and my energy would be released - I didnβt really feel like I had a choice in her physically adjusting me or touching me. The stretching was nice, but the mood felt off like I was being recruited for something. Looked up βBrain Educationβ and found out it has been called a cult and thereβs been a lot of sus stuff in the business. I had a weird experience and just wanted to let others know

The team at Body & Brain (Cambridge as well as the other Boston centers) are absolutely amazing! They are highly trained and each instructor, while maintaining their own unique approach, provides wonderful consistency of practice. They are all kind and caring, and make you feel seen & heard. If you're considering joining know that the practice is SO relaxing, but does require patience and commitment. I am very happy with my experience here, and feel much more able to reach a state of calm when I am feeling anxious. Body & Brain helps you gain more autonomy over your emotional, physical and spiritual health, I would highly recommend!

I had a great experience in class today. It was just the right combination of stretching, meditation and core strengthening. I released a lot of stress and felt renewed energy at the end of the session. I look forward to returning!
Since the center temporarily closed due to COVID-19, I have been taking advantage of an array of classes Body and Brain offers on Zoom. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to experience a deeper connection to my body and brain daily and for the ability to manage stress with more awareness, flexibility, new breathing techniques and positive energy. The dedicated instructors are excellent and are always willing to offer individual guidance and support.

I joined Body and Brain initially for the exercise, which is great. But it is so much more than that. It is a life practice that combines KiGong, TaiChi, yoga and stretching with a spiritual practice that allows you to tap into the connection between body and brain. It is life changing and life enhancing and the teachers are all wonderful! I highly recommend it.

I have been going to Body & Brain classes regularly for several years. I have stayed with this health/exercise program because the environment is warm and friendly, and I have seen a noticeable improvement in flexibility, balance, strength and energy. I especially enjoy Qigong and DahnMuDo classes for all of the benefits of moving meditation.

I am so happy that I joined Body & Brain. All the instructors are great. The classes are wonderful and well taught. Every time I take a class I feel better, lighter and happier. Before I joined I could not sit cross leg, my legs would be in the air. Now my legs are lower, I can not wait for my legs to touch the floor. With practice I can do sleeping tiger with less breaks (Ah, shi-won-ha-da). I can do plate balancing without looking awkward. I love all the movements. Thank you Body & Brain, you have helped me through this pandemic. I wish I could stay home and take classes all day instead of looking for a job. Kam-sa-ham-ni-da

Yeah! Great class Arthur! This class has helped me to spur on with the check in during the day especially, the kids as you know are demanding and act out.On that Tuesday, instead of controlling, I quieted my spirit and got into their world.
Lastly, the Saturday morning class with Vladamere is so calming and penetrates deeply to the brain, bones, and spirit! His intonation is spot on! He is very slow and clear to speak throughout the process in directing us through each movement. Also, he gives additional ways to do a movement. His awareness for each students ability is enormously felt!
Hope he can get this on Youtube! The world needs to hear and see it!

I've been practicing and also experiencing healing treatments at Body & Brain in Cambridge for over half a year and have found a different kind of peace and healing there. As a Yoga teacher and Life Coach, I already work with the mind and body, but this work has expanded it with energy work and a greater awareness of Soul. It can be a lovely experience, and one I bring into my work with my own clients.

I came here for an adventure not knowing that I would find so much more. I learned how to control my emotions and make better decisions not coming from an emotional place. I found a way to feel more confident and know that I can choose happiness instead of feeling sad and worried about the past.

Words cannot express how truly awesome Body & Brain Yoga in Cambridge is. You have to try it for yourself!!
The staff are amazing, heart-centered people who want the absolute best for all members. Arthur, in particular, is exceptional. He is such a bright and beautiful soul and has been the inspiration for me to make many important life changes that have all been extremely beneficial for me.
Since I started my practice almost 3 years ago, I've lost over 80 pounds, got off all of my meds and live a happy and full life. I continue to grow every day thanks to my practice with Arthur and all those at the Cambridge Body & Brain center!

The Cambridge BnB Center is amazing. It's a peaceful urban sanctuary that takes you to another world as soon as you walk through the door. Theres a zen theme to everything, from the woodwork to the tea and incense and the classes also incorporate asian healing work like body tapping and meridian stretching. BnB Yoga is very unique compared to traditional Hatha yoga or vinyasa in that it includes elements of tai chi, meditation and dance which make the classes more interesting and fun. I've been practicing for a long time now and I always love to see new students come and discover it for the first time. They always say that they wished they started earlier and I feel really lucky to have found it when I did. It has changed my life for the better, I'm more peaceful, less anxious, stronger and more flexible. Try it out, you'll be glad you did!

I stumbled across this yoga center while I was in the mist of very intensive grad school program, learning to be counselor in the mental health field. Before becoming a member at the brain and body center I was experiencing burn out and stress and feeling tired daily. I became a member at the center during my last school year, the change in my life it promoted has been transformational. My energy has increased, I've lost weight and best of all I have begun to self heal. Commiting to this practice has enabled me to discontinue medications I was prescribed for stress. Others have commented that I look " brighter" and I can sincerely say I feel happier and more compassionate for those around me. One of the most helpful elements included in the membership that is very different from any other yoga studio I have attended is the personal attention and support from the staff. The education I have received has offered the gift and opportunity for spiritual growth. I highly recommend this experience for everyone.

I have been a member of Body & Brain Cambridge for 2 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I've had type 2 diabetes for many years and since I have been practicing regularly, my A1C has lowered that my doctor took me out of medications. I love this place, the teachers and the members.

I started practicing Dahn Yoga about one and a half years ago when I was having a lot of trouble with anxiety and insomnia. I was very stressed about the insomnia which created more anxiety, and I had tried so many things to find relief but nothing was working. Dahn Yoga is the only thing that truly helped me overcome these issues and develop a more positive attitude toward life in general. I learned new and effective ways to meditate and take care of my body as well as my mind. I don't have anxiety or insomnia much at all anymore and when difficult situations do arise I feel much more prepared to deal with them.

As a teacher here and a part of the design team in its construction, I must say with all my biases that this is one of the finest mind-body training centers in the world. No, I do not mean that in exaggeration. I now only teach at the studio on rare occasion but the teachers, space and every little aspect of the experience there that the passionate and sincere staff offer, brings a palpable sense of health, deep genuine happiness and peace. Enjoy:)

I absolutely love coming to Cambridge Dahn Yoga. I definitely feel the difference of how I am before the class and after the class. As like most people, my mind tends to take the best of me with to do lists, everyday tasks, and etc. But Cambridge Dahn Yoga helps me release any unnecessary clutter in my head, makes me peaceful within myself and much more flexible physically. I sleep better, and I am able to prioritize my tasks on a daily basis without feeling overwhelmed. The instructors are highly trained, very attentive, and able to communicate individually of what each member needs in terms of improving physical and emotional health. I highly recommend Cambridge Dahn Yoga to anyone who needs to take a mini vacation, and unwind from everyday busy life. Itβs the best thing you can do for yourself and feel the long term healthy difference!

I have been coming to classes regularly at Dahn Yoga for about 3 years, and I recommend it highly. I experimented with many types of yoga and meditation in college and in the 15 years since, and I feel that the Dahn classes weave the best of these into one. Each class combines yoga stretches, tai chi and other energy arts, core strengthening and meditation. I found that doing some really simple exercises regularly can change my energy level, and when I come to class at the end of the day feeling tired or stressed, I always leave feeling really energized. The classes and the workshops have helped me slow my mind down, worry less, and develop my physical strength. It's changed my life by giving me tools for dealing with stress -- I used to always jump to take a nap when I felt anxious, and now I usually do certain exercises that help bring the energy out of my head and back into the rest of my body. It actually clears my head much better than a nap. My favorite class is the Friday vibration class, which includes free dancing.

I instantaneously feel peace of mind when I walk into this studio. It's become my little oasis from the stress and noise of my daily life. I've been taking classes for about six months now and it's made a huge difference in my life: I no longer have the nagging aches and pains that I used to, I've lost weight, and I feel stronger and more in control of my body.
Classes not only focus on stretching, core strengthening, and breathing, but also on "energy". By being able to recognize and feel my energy, I've been able to increase and balance it as well. It's pretty amazing and I always feel renewed and rejuvenated after class!
Vladimir, one of the instructors, has such a calming affect that no matter what problems I've had in my day, they all seem to melt away before the class is over. His guided meditation at the end is my favorite part! It's impossible not to feel relaxed.
A couple of classes a week has made a big difference in how I feel! The center is beautiful and the people (instructors and members) are positive. It's a great place for me to unwind and breathe.

I started taking classes here about a month ago about once or twice per week. At first I did not know what to expect. The style of their classes is very unique because it incorporates not just elements of yoga, but they also emphasize the importance of the flow of Ki (Chi) in your body.
I decided to give it a shot. Over time, I noticed how their classes have a healing effect on my body and mind. I do not feel "beat up" after their classes on average (some classes are really exhausting though, in a good way, especially "Vibration"). On the contrary, I feel relaxed, yet energized.
Their instructors are very unassuming and friendly. And one of the highlights of the class experience is that they have free herbal tea that you can drink before or after class.

I've had a really interesting experience - here. Definitely not Indian yoga, but it's still ancient and super-effective. I've only been taking classes for a couple months, but after each class I feel relaxed and energized and my mind is so much clearer than when I came in.
I mean, there's stretching, and breathing and meditating and some light energy work (as in trying to sense energy in your hands - but even if you're not into that, or think it's weird, it's still effective as a meditation technique. I totally recommend this to anyone who is looking for a mind-body integration (and even, if you want, some spiritual aspects too!).
Anyway, it's simple, both easy and challenging at the same time, and effective. (Key point for me). I feel more confident and relaxed and I've actually lost some weight doing this and just overall I feel more in control of my own life. Choosing to be happy or change my reaction to different situations.
