I joined this gym 3 years ago after meeting Sean through mutual friends. I was 48 at the time and now at 51 I am in better shape and look drastically better than I did in my 20's. I worked with Sean for almost six months and was blown away at the results we achieved. I've been going to Boom! for 1 year and a few months for personal training and with two sessions a week I'm easily in the best shape I've ever been! I came in as someone who hadn't been in the gym for several years and only had a bit of casual strength training in college. Since starting I've learned so much on a variety of topics such as important factors of a healthy diet (and powering your body for workouts), workout recovery, and movement variations in addition to how and when they're helpful. I'm naturally pretty curious, wanting to know how things work and Sean doesn't hoard secrets - he likes to teach and share knowledge, which I love because I never feel embarrassed for asking questions and wanting to know more.

When I've had minor injuries or sore spots, he's always gracefully shifted the workouts to work around them until they feel good enough to work on again. The sessions are challenging but not unreasonably so and there's lots of variety so it's hard to get bored. The other gym-goers there are kind and respectful; it's a supportive environment and it's been great getting to see them all progress too! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a tailored program or even just searching for something different. I'm super grateful for having chosen Boom! and Sean's guidance and coaching!

Boom has made me a better person physically and mentally. Sean's expertise in training has helped me complete achievements I've never done before in my 6 years of lifting. First started off as a member of BOOM! Back in 2013 when I was in high school,training for football and getting ready for my senior year and for the college level. Gained a ton of lifting and workout experience in my time at BOOM!. I have been working with Sean for about 9 months now. He is so knowledgeable, intuitive, patient, and most of all, he knows how to get results. I came to him 4 years after I broke my femur in a skiing accident. By anyone else’s standards, I would have been considered fully recovered. But, Sean knew I could be better. My injured leg was weaker and the muscles were far less defined than my other leg despite my efforts to strengthen it on my own. It’s taken a lot of split squats, but I can see and feel the massive improvement. I would have never been able to achieve this on my own without Sean’s support and encouragement. His positivity and passion is contagious. Highly, recommend Boom Athletics to anyone young or old who wants to be the best version of themselves. BTW, I’m 66 years young!

I had the privilege of working with Sean at Boom Athletics for about 7 months. By far, the best gym I have trained in. I started with personal training to prep for the fire academy. Sean worked with me towards my goals and was considerably stronger in a short period of time, not to mention lost about 15 lbs. very quickly. I then transitioned into the group workouts once I started to have an understanding of the exercises and routine. Sean continued to be attentive, personable, and an incredible coach. I put five stars because Boom Athletics is getting me where I want to be in life which is fit and strong. So I can live a longer and healthier lifestyle with also lifting in the right way with the right technique. Sean Seaberg is the Person for that because he has done sports for most of his life and knows how to push yourself to get stronger but also with doing the workouts the right way so you don’t hurt yourself working out. Finally Sean Seaberg changes up the workouts constantly every time you go so that you work on different muscles every time you do a workout. We’ve had our 11 year old son seeing Sean now for just about 4 months to help him move better in lacrosse and the improvement in his game is incredible. He has so much more confidence, energy and drive. Even other parents whose kids play lacrosse with him noticed a huge difference in how he moved. My son was so excited to tell Sean that he doesn’t get winded anymore by the end of the game and that he has so much energy!!! So much so that my 14 year old wanted to join. He’s been for just about a month and absolutely loves it. I can’t wait to see what the next few months bring for them and how much stronger they both will get. This is by far the most valuable gym I have ever come across. As a former athlete and now actor, I came in having specific goals: look, strength, and rehabilitation. My expectations for this gym and Sean’s program has gone far beyond my expectations. If you are experienced, or just beginning Boom! Athletics has everything you need. Sean is easily one of the best coaches. If you show up with a positive attitude and are willing to work, Sean will get you the results you are looking for.

Personally for me, lifting weights was something I had always wanted to do but I was always afraid to even step foot on the weight floor, instead I stuck to what I knew which was running on the treadmill and stepping on the stair master. From the first class I took, Sean made me feel comfortable despite feeling reserved. 6 months later, I am proud to say I am comfortable to through some weight around with knowledge and confidence.

It's the best quality of strength and conditioning in Haverhill, easily. I was a former gymnast & coach. I had multiple surgeries including both shoulders and elbows. A few months ago, I was new to the area and looking for a gym. In every city, there are the typical $10-$40/month corporate gym options. I've been seeing Sean for almost 3 years now. Ive been dealing with a bunch of different injuries from poor form while working out by myself, but he was able to work around every single injury I've had and corrected my form. When I first started seeing him I had a bulging disk in my L5 S1 disk. The pain in my lower back made it hard for me to do certain exercises like squats and deadlifts, but after a few months the pain went away and I was squatting 240 like it was nothing. I've seen tremendous gains since I've been with him he always pushes people to be the best they can. The environment is better then any atmosphere I've been in. Sean is more than my trainer, he's my mentor and one of my best friends. I highly recommend him to anyone that's trying to strive to be the best person they can be

I like many, have ping-ponged through the local fitness centers and their

In the past I have gone to large gyms and worked out at home doing workouts such as P90X. I never had much guidance in the gym so I found it hard to stay motivated.

Working out at home got dull over time. I had great results working out at home years ago but watching the same DVD's over and over got to be repetitive.

I found out from a co-worker that Boom Athletics was up on the 5th floor from where I worked. I decided to stop in one day after work and Sean gave me a free training session.

I have been stopping by his gym now for several months, Sean is great to work with and always mixes up the routine. Typically most people will come in and do a warm up and then he will have everyone do exercises that work a specific muscle group - legs, back, chest etc.

The classes are small and really only consist of maybe 4-5 people max, everyone I have met has been helpful and friendly so it's a good environment to work out in. Sean works with people who are beginners and those that are looking for something more advanced so anyone can participate.

I highly recommend checking out Boom Athletics, you won't regret it!
