I was a. member of this studio for 17 years. ai enjoyed it until the last three years when a new owner bought it. The owner Jacklyn has taken the joy out of the studio. She has a big list of rules that she posts that are ridiculous. She is often rude and dismissive to clients and teachers as well. Many long time students have left, and the rate of turnover of teachers is alarming. Many new teachers are very mediocre and the good ones leave.

This studio is very expensive. If you cancel due to illness you are charged $25, no exceptions. I recommend looking around at other studios. When I started studios were hard to find, but today there are many options.

I am a huge fan of Boston Body Pilates - Belmont! I have taken classes at this studio religiously every morning that the studio is open, 6 days a week, for the past 2 and a half years. I love the instructors! They are knowledgeable and really care about the people taking their classes. I've met wonderful people in this Pilates community, and I look forward to seeing them and spending time with them. It has improved my flexibility, improved my mobility, made me stronger and most importantly reduced my stress. I am an owner of a wellness business. Boston Body Pilates in Belmont is terrific. I've been taking classes there for about 5 years. The instructors are amazing - experienced, positive, and willing to work with any injuries or limitations you might have. They take the time to explain each exercise in detail and to give cues to make sure that you are doing it correctly. And for those who want more of a challenge, they also offer advanced modifications - but always leave the decision to each person what they feel is right for them that day.

The studio is really pleasant and somewhat spa-like. It's very clean and well-maintained.

There's a range of classes - basic reformer, tower, combo pilates-barre, restorative and more. I feel that I've gotten a lot of good things from each session - more strength in core and arms, more flexibility, much better posture, a sense of relaxation from breathing with each move, and some new friends. I always feel refreshed and energized after a session and look forward to coming back for more.

I've been attending classes at Boston Body Pilates Belmont since late winter, and every aspect of the experience has been outstanding.

The staff does a great job of getting you onboarded (especially if you're new to pilates), and will ensure that there is no guesswork for you when it comes to signing up or making an informed decision about what type of membership is the best fit for you.

Jaclyn and all the instructors give enough detail for you to learn and progress safely, but not so much that you're overwhelmed with technique notes. The slightly differing styles employed by the various instructors (all of whom learned from the same teacher) at the studio make for a well-rounded class experience. Some of the claims about how much your body will transfrom may seem exaggerated, but I can attest that the results for consistent students will be considerable.

Finally, the variety and schedule of available classes are considerable, and are accessible to a wide variety of availability. The only nitpick I have is that it would be nice if their online scheduling tool could auto-populate Google calendar with the classes you've signed up for, but that aside, I can unreservedly recommend this studio to anybody seeking to try out pilates.

I joined Boston Body Pilates (Belmont) in January 2023. I love it!! I started with a few sessions of private instruction before jumping into a class. Excellent and Gentle Pilates Instruction!

I have been going to Boston Body Pilates Belmont studio for private and semi-private Pilates sessions for almost two years being instructed in Pilates technique by Jaclyn LeBlanc, the owner, and head trainer at the studio. As a total newcomer to Pilates and very out of shape and in pain from pandemic inactivity and some injuries, I initially was uninformed about the benefits of Pilates. Gradually and gently, Jaclyn has made Pilates one of the anticipated parts of my week. I feel like I am visiting a spa and benefitting from a customized exercise plan that helps me get stronger gradually without injuring myself….all the while learning about the Pilates method and using a variety of equipment to vary workouts.

Boston Body Pilates Belmont offers classes for the most advanced to the most beginner Pilates student. There are classes offered with a variety of focus (pregnancy, post-partum, group, individual, reformer, barre) and special programs for those with health interests (yoga and Pilates, nutrition), all in a very clean, relaxed almost spa environment. I can’t recommend Jaclyn and her staff at Boston Body Pilates Belmont more highly.

Boston Body Pilates Belmont is my FAVORITE place on earth! I started coming here in January of 2022 to prep for my wedding. I was so nervous to start, as I had never done Pilates before, and felt confident and welcome during my very first class. Throughout the year, Jaclyn and her team completely transformed my body, and Boston Body Pilates became the highlight of my day, almost every day of the week! Consistent classes at Boston Body Pilates Belmont has provided me with more than just a toned body, but also with mental clarity, an understanding of how the body moves, and taught me so much about the importance of intentional movement.

Fast forward, this past January, I became pregnant with our first baby!! I worked with Jaclyn and her team to modify my workouts, and continue to work one-on-one with Jaclyn to keep my prenatal body strong while prepping for birth and postpartum.

I am so thankful that I found Boston Body Pilates Belmont, and look forward to learning about the many ways Pilates can benefit the many stages of my life to come. BBP Belmont is the best!

I have been studying Pilates seriously for nearly 20 years and it is only with Jaclyn that I am able to understand how to work from my innermost core. She is incredibly intuitive and can read your body and what shift you need to make for maximum advantage down to the tiniest muscle. She is a joy to work with, and to learn from : Infinitely patient and encouraging.
Due to a fall, I had a hip replacement nearly 2 years ago, and Jaclyn worked with my physical therapist to bring me back to full mobility. Boston Body is very central part of my life and my well-being.

My husband and I have been going to Boston Body Pilates - Belmont for a couple of years now and got to know Jaclyn who has always been so amazing and kind. Since the time she has owned the studio, we have taken reformer duet classes, group classes, and private lessons with her. Jaclyn is an incredible instructor who is extremely knowledgeable, patient and listens to your needs. My husband had his second total knee replacement and his recovery has been remarkable. He is so ahead of the game in rehabbing and I do believe this is because of all the exercises that Jaclyn did with him to improve his strength and flexibility in preparation for his surgery.
The studio is extremely clean, modern and airy. Communication is seamless and response time quick. Best place for Pilates! Thank you Jaclyn! You are awesome!💜

I have been a client of Boston Body for 16 years. I've benefited over the years as Zayna trained scores of new instructors that met her high standards. When the studio was sold last year, I knew it would be in good hands with the new owners, Jacklyn and her husband. Jacklyn is an amazing and gifted trainer, --she keeps things moving and changes it up while providing constant cues and teaching throughout the class. I rarely write reviews but I feel like my experience had to be shared. I first joined the studio in Nov2018. And have been working out with the same trainer since then. I renewed my 20 session package in October 2019 and brought a second 20 session package during Thanksgiving. About 1 month ago I noticed that there was a big discrepancy in the number of sessions that I had actually used versus what showed up on my account. I spoke with the manager who was quick to assure me that they would take care of it. I reached out to the my trainer as well and was told that I would receive an email from the manager. I did receive an email saying that they had credited me with the sessions but it was still not accurate. Lucky for me I had all the previous emails/ text messages and it was only after I sent them a very detailed email With every detail possible that I was able to get it sorted out. I am glad I had a record of everything!! It took alot of effort and time to get everything sorted. At one point I was told that they were going against the strict 24 hr cancellation policy to give me credit, which was not true. I wasn't asking for a credit on late cancelled appointments. These were genuinely sessions that I had not used some even being days when the trainer was not available, Thanksgiving when the studio was shut and some days when I was traveling and had informed my trainer in advance. Eventually everything got sorted but the process was upsetting. I think Pilates is a great form of exercise, I started doing it because I had a back injury and I really enjoyed my sessions with my trainer. But these series of events were extremely upsetting. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere!!!

I have never been must of an exercisers, however I how found that Boston Pilates in Belmont is the best thing I have done for myself in a while. I feel better, I breath better and I am definitely starting to move better. Lo my private instructor was the first person in 20 years that shows me exercise can be fun. I had cancer and had six surgeries last year. Pilates has help me start moving again and help rebuild my confidence in exercising again.
