Brendan is a fantastic trainer. Highly recommend! I worked with him on my general fitness and strength training goals for more than a year and he was always very helpful, supportive, and tailored things very well for my needs. I didn't have much exercise experience going into it and really needed to get into the habit of going more than I needed to be reaching any particular fitness goal, and he really understood what I was trying to achieve and designed the workouts perfectly to match what I needed. There were some different acute goals I had in between and he was able to help me with those as well, which I really appreciated.
Parking and commute is also very easy so if you drive, that will be no problem.
This is also a private gym so if you're new to exercise and don't feel as comfortable going to a larger gym, I'd definitely recommend inquiring here.

Brendan is an elite trainer. He is very knowledgeable and can tailor workouts to fit whatever level you’re at—whether you're new to the gym or have years of experience under your belt. He makes the workouts appropriately challenging and focused on helping you achieve your specific goals. He's great to work with. Training with him has been the best investment I’ve done for my health and fitness.

Brendan is awesome. I truly hate working out, but I’ve kept up with it for 3 years now thanks to Brendan’s gentle coaching, which is filled with lots of pop culture chatter, your own playlist, and jokes. He’s a genuinely great guy and makes the time fly by so that I hardly notice that I’m doing something I (still) hate.
And the results are amazing — I was dealing with all sorts of back pain when I first started going to Brendan. My issues pretty much resolved and I hit peak physical fitness of my life thanks to regular training by Brendan. This past year, he’s helped me stay in shape through a tough pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

5 Stars - Exceptional & Life Changing Professional
Cadence: 2x / week. Working with Brendan has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life this year. From the first session, I could tell that he wasn't just a trainer trying to sell - he was someone deeply invested in helping me grow in every dimension - physically, mentally, and emotionally. I was in a place in my life where I felt everything was out of control, and having consistent sessions with his guidance and mix of emotional intelligence/ intensity help me elevate not just my health, but also my career and general self concept.
His programming is elite - it is personalized, strategic, and not overly complex - it goes back to fundamentals that build over time. In 1.5 months, I've managed to lower my body fat %, cut weight, and gain confidence to be stronger. As someone who trains in martial arts, in Muay Thai, I felt that his programming helped shaped my body for a real fight (something that I would never have dreamed of even entertaining).
I've grown stronger in every sense since working with him. If you're looking for someone who will believe in your potential, and transmute your strength not just in the gym, but in your life, Brendan is that coach.

I've been working out with Brendan for a little over 6 years now--top three best decisions I've made in this time period.
Brendan tailors workouts around specific goals.

When I first started workout out with him, my goal was to get back into Brazilian jiu jitsu, and so, the workouts became focused on building unilateral strength; we did single leg work, single arm work, worked on stability.
This basis of strength allowed me to train without injury. Few months later, my training with Brendan evolved to target my cardio fitness so I could train longer. Here, Brendan incorporated specific cardio training but ramping it in a way where it never felt "impossible." We started out by building a base of zone 2 cardio, and over time, ramped up distance, work rate, and fatigue. The results allowed me to compete in local tournaments.
During my time working out with Brendan I also got married; Brendan took it upon himself to get me to be in the best portrait shape possible and I leaned out. But once the wedding was over, we focused on rebuilding strength so I could carry on with my desired activities.
As life would have it, I ended up injuring my back, and Brendan read up on spinal injuries, and worked with my PT to put together a rehab plan that would allow me to rebuild range of motion in order to get back to my routine activities. This time period was difficult on me because I knew where I had been, I felt weak, and I did become demotivated. But, Brendan's enthusiasm, and commitment to helping me get back to my normal state helped me push beyond the difficult months to a place where I felt pre-injury. During this time the workouts where difficult, but never impossible, and always the right amount to avoid overtraining.
Most recently, I started playing soccer again (I'm 34), and as it turns out, I've lost a bit of speed. Brendan shifted my workout plan to involve track-like days where I'm working on rebuilding running mechanics, unlocking athleticism and building lasting cardio.
I would highly recommend Brendan to anyone looking to get in shape, perform better at a specific activity, or celebrate what the body is capable of with a bit of consistent work.

I have been training with Brendan for almost two years now and he is the best trainer I have ever had. He pushes me every week, is personable and aware of what is and isn't working. I have never left a session feeling like I didn't get my moneys worth. I would totally recommend him to anyone looking to get in shape. Coming off of rotator cuff and labrum surgery. I looked for a personal trainer to help me get back to where I was. Brendan has done that and more. As a former athlete with a troublesome history of minor to moderate injuries, finding Brendan was incredibly serendipitous. I’ve been an avid advocate of Classical Pilates to maintain stable core strength and joint support but after the year we’ve all had in this madness, it was time to get serious. I knew what I didn’t want. And that was back-breaking weights just to boast I can do it. I didn’t want a PT to push me beyond what I knew was right for my body. And I didn’t want to delve into a fitness world that consisted of stubbornness for a specific type of system just because that was what they wanted to do. What I got from working with Brendan, even in the short amount of time, was someone who listened and observed how my body was moving and worked with me to understand why my body was moving the way it was, and what we could incrementally work towards to balance the whole body. I want to feel strong in my own frame and focus on not just aesthetic goals, but functional strength that makes me the best version of me so I can live a long life of strength and balance. I’m glad to have found someone who practice what he teaches and inspires me to plug in. I am absolutely pumped for this journey.

A few years ago I was dealing with some health issues and needed to workout regularly. I was never a gym-type person and struggled to get to the closest gym- I was even paying for a planet fitness membership and NEVER went! I quickly understood that the only way I would actually workout was to get a personal trainer. A trainer that could guide me, teach me and keep me accountable. That’s when I met Brendan! To just say that Brendan is fantastic would be an understatement! He understood exactly what I needed from day 1 and made me feel so comfortable. He helped me push myself in ways that I did not believe I could. I saw results really quickly and this made me truly love/ appreciate working out!
Brendan has his own studio so this gives his client the intimacy they need to focus on the workout while jamming hard to whatever type of music they like! I truly cannot stretch enough how great my experience was with Brendan. I would 100% recommend ! Brendan is the answer to your dream body goal!

I’ve had my fair share of specialized sport athletic & personal trainers over the years and I am thrilled to have found Brendan. When you meet him you will instantly know he holds professionalism in the highest regard; he is extremely educated and thoroughly explains why your personalized workouts are best suited for you. During our first session together he was quickly able to point out an injury of mine, something past trainers were not able to catch nor help me with. With perfect form deadlifting, even with a low amount of weight, I would constantly pull out my lower back in the past. I finally got an answer as to why this was happening and what I needed to do to solve this issue.
I highly recommend Brendan for those who want to improve their athletic performance for boxing as he has a martial arts background. His workouts are very efficient and effective. Ladies, don’t be intimidated to work with him!! When I want to give up at the 8th rep he motivates me to get to 15 in an encouraging positive manner. It does not matter what your fitness level is, he will meet you where you’re at.
I also love his new outdoor workout space! Best of both worlds, indoor and outdoor training.

I had my first session with Brendan today and I cannot wait to go back! He is very personable, easy to spend time with, and extremely knowledgeable about weight training, stretching, and human physiology in general. The studio is clean and I appreciate the off-street parking.
UPDATE: After training with Brendan for six months, I cannot say enough good things about him! I am stronger and more confident in my body's capabilities. I love learning from him and appreciate his specific explanations when I ask questions (which I do a lot). This guy is a gem!

His training style is the perfect balance of encouragement and toughness. He will push you, but in the most supportive way possible. Great place for individual training and workouts! Has everything you need in a quality private training studio including squat rack, fan bike, bands, and med balls.
