I had this realization about my workouts at Btone today, and I figured this would be an amazing testimonial for the business. I signed up for the $99 unlimited promotion, and by the end, I attended 7 classes.
Shortly after my last class, I participated in a bike riding event. It was my first bike ride of the season and first major ride in over 5 years. Before the bike event, the coordinator suggested that we don't use the event as our first ride of the season, which made sense. But what did I do? Well, I will tell you, I didn't prepare or train for the event. It was 22 miles, not a competitive ride, but it was 22 miles of riding.
After the event, in the evening, I thought for sure that I would be sore from all the riding, but the worse thing that happened was that I ended up with a sunburn. I woke up the next day, maybe a little dehydrated which was to be expected, but my muscles felt great; no saddle soreness or even back pain which I noticed during riding.
As the week went on, I realized that even though I didn't prepare for the ride by riding, I did prepare for the ride by working out at Btone. For context, I'm 50 and the only exercise I was doing for the past 4 months or so, besides my recent Btone workouts, was walking. Even though it was for a short period of time, the Btone workouts gave me the core strength to prepare me for the bike ride.
Btone has a friendly approachable staff and community. By my 5th class, I started to really notice I was walking taller by default, and I had muscle tone show up in my arms.
Needless to say, I am now a member. Btone is challenging and the perfect workout for any age. The instructors do a great job at offering modifications and support when needed. I'm so happy to have discovered Btone and love how it is so close to home.

This is a great workout! I've been doing pilates and HIIT for years and think of myself as being relatively fit, but this workout makes my muscles shake! Love the movement to the music, instructors are clear and friendly, everything is very clean and there are wipes in abundance. Highly recommend!

BTone Fitness Waltham more than exceeded my expectations! I didn't know what to expect when I walked in the door. Not only did I find a fun and challenging workout. I found a place that is accepting of all levels and excellent coaching ready to deal with any issue. I have had a hip issue for 2 years and I have never felt better, stronger, or healthier. I really enjoy btone Waltham. Out of all the pilates/barre studios I’ve tried in Boston this one is by far my favorite. Workouts are challenging but doable and after only 6 weeks of going 1-2x/week I’m seeing myself get stronger and noticing changes in my body (mainly a tighter core). Studio is aesthetically pleasing and very clean. Instructors are great (Kasey & Demi are my favorite). They have the right amount of energy and passion without being super intense. I’ve also appreciated their willingness to accommodate different body types/needs (I have neck & shoulder issues). You definitely need to self advocate-ask for help or choose to modify yourself, as modifications aren’t apart of the normal class rhythm. But i’ve felt the freedom from comparison and the ability to go at my own pace, with what’s right for my body that day.

This is the best pilates/barre studio I’ve been to in Boston. The workouts are challenging but fruitful (after 6 weeks of going 1-2x/week i’m beginning to see small changes in my body). Classes are small which I love! Studio is aesthetically pleasing and very clean. The instructors are great (I especially love Demi and Kasey). Something else I appreciate about the studio is their willingness to modify exercises. I’m currently in PT for neck & shoulder issues. The workouts don’t include a ton of modifications so you need to ask or self adjust but I’ve appreciated the way the instructors have responses.

What a gem in Waltham! The studio is stylish and inviting with friendly staff who remember your name. It took me a couple classes to get comfortable with the machine and understand basic moves. The instructors do a great job explaining the movements and offering modifications when I asked them. I’m really enjoying the challenging workouts which always have a fun playlist.

I have scoliosis and therefore a weak upper back and posterior chain and my physical therapist told me pilates would be good for strengthening my core and glutes/hamstrings. Around the same time, I got a Nift gift card to btone, which I walked by quite frequently (it's next to Brothers Marketplace) and gathered was similar to Lagree/Megaformer pilates. I went to classes and could feel myself activating muscles that had been dormant my entire life! The best part is that this has carried over outside of class, including when I ride my bike or do yoga.

I've spent my whole adult life trying to find a fitness routine that worked for me. I've tried personal training, streaming work outs, yoga, etc. etc. and nothing ever stuck. As soon as I took my first class at Btone I knew this was going to be different. The classes are definitely challenging and there's a learning curve to the machines but the instructors are so helpful and supportive. This location is super convenient with easy parking. I highly recommend it!

If you're thinking about trying Btone, just go for it! I have been a long-time Barre goer and was nervous to try out this type of workout, with a reformer-type machine, but it's amazing. The teachers, especially Suzanne, are so helpful and patient, the studio is beautiful and welcoming, and the workout is killer - it's 45 minutes but it goes by in a flash! I'm so happy to have a studio in my area, and I will definitely be going often.

I took a Btone class on Christmas Eve with Demi and it was AWESOME! Exactly what I needed, I haven't been to Btone in a while and haven't been working out either...I was nervous - but Demi was so friendly, encouraging and supportive I was not as intimidated as class started. She played a fun holiday-themed music set and kept us moving! It was a great re-entry into the class and I'm hopeful to start up again regularly, such an efficient class that I just have to show up for - and having the class scheduled in advance keeps me committed to the exercise! Happy to have this in my neighborhood and looking forward to more workouts! Highly recommend!

I love Btone! The instructors are genuinely nice people. They come around and make sure you're doing each exercise correctly. The classes are only 45 minutes long, but you leave sweating and sore. You don’t stay sore for just one day, but sore for 3 days! That’s how you know you got a good work out! Thursday morning 6AMs with Demi, definitely wake you up!

This studio is amazing! I wanted to try a class at BTONE since they opened their Waltham location but never found the right time. In May I injured my back and had to take a hiatus from working out. I was nervous to begin an exercise regiment again, but after reading about how BTONE was a low-impact workout, I took the plunge and booked a class. I'm so glad that I did!
The workout is fabulous and every instructor I've met is welcoming and very helpful. I leave every class stronger and feeling great. I highly recommend this studio!

Just took my 5th class at Btone Fitness and tried 5 different instructors. Recently started to work out again after some ankle surgery. Every instructor was great and offered modifications for my limitations-but they also encourage me to try new things. Like most yoga practices I’ve attended, this Pilates fitness toning studio attracts clients of all different body shapes and fitness levels who compete against themselves, not others. They offer trial discounted classes and some great package specials. Love the 45 minute class structure, music, and the way they rotate the body parts they focus on (core, legs, arms, etc) by session.

I learned about Btone Fitness through an Internet advertisement and decided to give it a try. After the first class I was hooked! I have never experienced a workout like it. It is a fast moving class but with slow movements. No two classes are the same. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and patient. They want you to do your best, and super encouraging. I would urge everyone to give Btone a shot. I would imagine that it would a worthwhile experience.

I’ve been practicing at Btone for two years. As an athlete, Btone has a lot to offer for my training, including core strength, stability, and bodily awareness. I’ve trained at multiple Btone locations. The Waltham location is great because there’s plenty of parking, which very convenient. The atmosphere is great. I’ve trained with Lauren P. She’s a great instructor who knows how to tailor her workouts to the specific clientele of each session. Although most clients are women, I recommend Btone to any athlete, especially hockey players who rely on their core strength and and hip health. I think it would be great to see more guys at Btone.

Btone in Waltham is part of my workout routine now. I’m typically not the smallest girl in the room but I NEVER feel out of place which is really cool. Demi is my favorite instructor and I try to book my classes with her because she has great energy, awesome tunes and fantastic instruction. She is on top of everyone’s form and alignment which is not always the case in classes. It’s super clean, plenty of parking and easy to book online. Five stars all around😀.

I started out going in Wellesley and loveddd it! Just moved to Waltham though and loving this studio! Emily’s class is a favorite. She is challenging which I like, but also great with modifications (because you know, I need that sometimes)! Btone is such a switch up workout wise from what I am used to (lifting in the gym). Definitely a good thing though! And I thought lifting heavy weights was hard ... ;)

This gorgeous new studio comes equipped with ample parking, clean showers, childcare, brothers market next door for post workout protein, and most importantly the magical TONEY machine. Nothing will make your muscles shake and strengthen more. Emily and Lauren’s classes fly by and accommodate the novice or veteran. You will still be sore 2 days later while you excitedly book your next class. Take it from an addict :-)

I started at Btone Waltham out of convenience, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I needed to find an hour or less drop-in class between work and my meeting, and this place fit all the criteria. I was a little nervous, since I was just getting back into health and wellness, but all of the instructors have been encouraging, patient, and instructive. I can definitely feel that I'm getting a good workout, and I love the pace and intensity of class.

So, I'm "OLD" compared to the regular clientele, but I work at it and I have to acknowledge that the coaches are great at keeping an eye on me to make sure I don't do anything silly to injure myself! I have been surprised at how satisfying this is, I was skeptical at the beginning, but ... I actually look forward to classes and can now stand on one leg and balance! Ha Ha!! It's great - do yourself a favor and give it a try!!

I was on the hunt for a class that would round out my running and yoga while helping me get stronger. BTone has become that and more! The instructors are amazing, all with a unique spin on their classes and they go by in a blink because they are high energy and fun. I have not felt this energized and excited in years and I am already noticing stronger runs and yoga classes as a result! Thank you guys so much!

I love btone. The classes are 45 minutes and fly by, probably because you’re working (hard!) from start to finish. While each class is listed as having a focus on two muscle groups (ex. chest and core), I haven’t had a class yet where you don’t hit core, upper body and legs, working them all to the point where you feel some all-over soreness the next day. The focus on each group is just long enough where you’re really feeling it by the end, but not to the point you’re ready to quit. The transitions are quick, but the instructors are great with explaining the move up next, what part of the machine you’ll be changing to, and correcting your form if needed. The Waltham studio has only 10 people per class, so there’s personal attention from the instructor there if you need help maneuvering to a certain move. The studio itself is beautiful, being in a newer building in the Merc residences and shops. The instructors are fun and motivating, keeping the class light but getting you to work to get the most out of those 45 minutes. I wanted to try btone because I was hoping to improve my core strength and tone, and while I’ve noticed results there, it’s also gotten my shoulders, arms, back, glutes, and quads more toned as well. Overall, very happy with deciding to try btone, I’m hooked!
