Central Rock Framingham is a favorite among the the CRG community! As a bouldering-only facility, climbing with us is a great way to try it for the first time. All our climbing takes place over thick padded flooring β no ropes, harnesses, belaying, or prior experience necessary! Drop in any time (no appointment needed) and give it a try with the purchase of a day pass and shoe rental, or get unlimited access and special benefits by becoming a member.

Their service has really gone through the floor during the last couple of years. More and more stingy.
Route quality is going down, they cut things out of the membership, and blame you for glitches in their system and then charge you an arm and a leg for them.
They got themselves another month of membership out of me but lost a potential member for life. One place I'm not going back to.

Pros: great route setting, clean area, spacious, kilter board
Cons: not a lot of overhang or powerful, crimpy moves. Training for the outdoors requires kilter board use.

Framingham CRG is a Great gym. As someone who's visited most gyms in massachusetts this one has very strategic setting with a fun atmosphere. Strictly bouldering, they thoroughly make use of the space they have. I've been coming for years and everyone i have brought along they way has found a spiritual awakening from utilizing their body in new fun expressive ways. Framingham CRG is a great stop for a curious traveller, or a place where the routine visitor can work in a light hearted community. I am greatful to be able to express my strength in such a relaxed environment.

Impossible hours for early morning risers who need to workout BEFORE work! Also just an overall pretentious Vibe from the other members and staff, wasnβt impressed with the facilities either for the wildly highly jacked membership prices. Wonβt be going there again!

I spend way too much time here to give them anything less than 5 stars.
The setting is good, but the vibe and people are the best.

This gym is awesome! Rock climbing is a great way to take the monotony out of staying in shape and this gym makes it especially fun. Staff is friendly, mats are clean, walls rotate every week, various yoga classes for all levels of experience and intensity. One of the cheaper locations to get a membership. Great workout rooms and equipment. Route setting is stellar. Strategic and challenging.

Great bouldering gym out in Framingham β really glad to have one in my area. The routes are challenging and interesting and thereβs always friendly people around to help give tips or just to commiserate about challenges we have yet to solve. This is an essential part of my week and I canβt wait to progress more and take advantage of their classes and other offerings!

We have had and are having a wonderful experience at the Central Rock Gym in Framingham. We showed up with 7 teenagers from our school and the staff at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more helpful even when half the kids forgot one thing or another. Most of our group had not climbed before and what a great place for them to start. There are a ton of routes/problems for them to try. We have been back 5 times in 2 weeks are the kids are still trying to crack a V3 that they love. Every week there's a new wall configuration somewhere. We all love the only bouldering aspect of the gym. The staff on the climbing floor have been patient and helpful and the other climbers are all cool and helpful. It's just been great. Thank you all!

Weβre in town for a week, so decided to stop by to check out the local gym scene. Right away, we were blown away by the price of a day pass for this gym. Coming from SLC which has some of the best gyms in the country with day pass prices ranging from $22-$29 depending on the gymβ¦ CRGβs price was definitely a shock. You pay $26, which doesnβt include rental gear, for a single day pass. The gym itself is fairly small and built into a pit in the ground. While the setting is fun and challenging, there is just not a lot of value here to justify a $26 day pass. My understanding is that they charge that much in order to push people to buy memberships, which is something that only works when youβre local to the area. The day pass price aside, the facility itself was okay, setting was good, and the community of local climbers hanging out was awesome. A solid 3/5 star climbing gym. My rating would definitely go up to 5 stars if the day pass price point was $10-$15.

Just started rock climbing and the gym here is great. Bouldering only, and all different difficulties to try out. The service is great at the front desk - above and beyond. When I needed to charge my phone they had no problem helping me out!

Super happy there's a gym out here! Though it does have only bouldering routes, there's a new set every Thursday. If you're jonesing for some top rope or lead, the Watertown gym isn't far.
This is the easiest-graded gym I've been to in the CRG family, but honestly that's a boon. It's the perfect place to bring friends and family who are just trying climbing out; they'll almost certainly have something to climb within their capabilities. Staff are amazing too!

Kind staff and average facilities. Unfortunately their subscription plans force you to pay two months of usage. If you are travelling or visiting your family in the region forget about it, Central Rock Gym is not for you.
Moreover, in terms of Covid-19 safety the space can be pretty crowded and no windows or doors were open to let the air circulate.

Great climbing gym for bouldering. They have aerobic machines and a weight room as well. Very nice and always clean! Got my membership here and I can visit any of the CRG network gyms, which is super convenient because there are a dozen scattered throughout the greater Boston area. Friendly staff and new routes set every week keep me coming back for more! Now if only I could get better at climbing!

Crg Framingham is a really greatand beginner friendly gym with only boulders. The problems are fun, staffs are friendly. I brought some of my friends who are new to climbing here and they all liked it. The grading might be easier than other crgs(Boston, Hadley, Cambridge, Randolph, Watertown, Warwick) Iβve been to but that boost my confidence so why not.

Great community, great route setting. Awesome gym if you live or work in the area, but well worth the drive even if you don't. The problems are really fun and inventive, feel I've greatly improved my climbing visiting here.

Amazing bouldering gym. The gym is super new and the staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. The walls are reset frequently and there is a really nice community but it's never too packed like some of the other gyms.

This CRG Framingham location is perfectly located off the Pike, and they make the most of the cramped space that they have. The aisles between the walls are a bit narrow, but overall there is a good variety of routes and top rope/bouldering available.

I have had a membership at central rock gym for the past few months and going there has been a highlight of my week since day one. I didnβt even acknowledge how much I loved to climb until I started, it truly is a blast and an excellent workout for all kinds of people. After having some health issues over the last couple of months I unfortunately have not been able to go to the gym. When I called to postpone my membership it was handled in an excellent fashion that really helped me feel like a valued member of this gym. I am so grateful for the support given by Harry and am excited to get going rock climbing again here in the future when Iβm all healed up. Five stars indeed! Thank you for excellent service.

CRG Framingham is my jam. I started my climbing journey over 6 months ago and this was the perfect place to start. Super clean facilities, great routes (good variety for beginners to advanced climbers), really helpful & friendly staff, and an awesome community of climbers all there to help you SEND. Plenty of cardio and resistance training equipment and yoga classes too. They have a nice rec room with table tennis and lounge space. This place is more low key than other climbing gyms I've been to (in a good way). Plus, the membership here is a steal! (Access to all of CRG locations) Come climb!

I LOVE CRG FRAMINGHAM!! I was introduced to this gym about two months ago by my friend, and now I am hooked and go almost every day. The clean facilities, friendly staff, and great walls with a wide range of problem difficulty keep me coming back as often as I do. I was able to progress from a VB to a V5 in about three short months. My school's student run rock climbing club comes every other week and they have been super welcoming to our newly started club.

Wonderful atmosphere and mix of people. As a climber who was primarily used to climbing on ropes, I only started coming to Framingham due to its convenient location (I live less than a few miles away). I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. There's good routes with a nice variety and frequent resets. The staff is generally helpful and the manager is a great resource of information and frequently offers helpful climbing tips. Probably the best part of this gym is its atmosphere. Though it's usually busy in the evenings on any given weekday, it never feels crowded. Best of all, everyone always seems friendly and eager to help newer climbers figure out a problem.

Life long dream to get into rock climbing but never close enough to a gym. Joined here as soon as it opened. Staff are super welcoming and made me feel comfortable as a newbie. Great crowd of regulars that offer help and advice to newer climbers as well. Thanks for helping me achieve my dream!

Quite a nice, new gym. Facilities, walls, and holds were all nice. The thing that stood out to me the most is that the quality of route setting is really high. Only thing I'd like to see improved is more problems, but maybe they just reset the walls idk.

Best bouldering setup amongst the Central Rock gyms I have visited (Worcester, Watertown, and Framingham). Bear in mind they only offer bouldering. The gym setup seems pretty legit too with 3 power racks and several extra olympic barbells.
