Cheer Advantage Boosters

My daughter Savanna, entering her second season, and she absolutely can’t get enough of Cheer Advantage! The coaches go above and beyond to support every athlete in reaching their goals and preparing for upcoming competitions.
If you’re looking for a family-oriented gym that not only guides your athlete but also mentors them to reach their highest potential,
Cheer Advantage is the place to be!
Thank you, Cheer Advantage, for everything you’ve done for my family!

My daughter has been a part of Cheer Advantage for 8 years now. Her growth as an athlete, teammate, friend and as an all around person is so impressive. She has advanced in her tumbling skills year after year. She’s learned to adapt to new situations and work well with others. These are both skills that have transferred to all aspects of her life. From a parent’s perspective, the dedication, hard work, and overall confidence she has learned is so valuable. From a kid’s perspective, she’s achieving goals and most importantly, having fun! We have made lifelong friendships at this gym and look forward to making more memories with the CA family.

My daughter had fun, but I was turned off by what I perceive as a lack of communication and organization. When my daughter got hurt at practice, they didn’t inform us. I’ve heard a similar story from another parent. On competition day, the coach (or owner?) repeatedly reminded my daughter that it’s fine if she wants to skip some stunts due to injury (that they neglected to tell us about), but stated repeatedly that they will have points taken away by judges. I felt like she overemphasized this last part, which my kid felt as pressure to ignore her injury.
I got the sense that they didn’t want to talk to me whenever I had questions or concerns- as if I was bothering them. It’s expensive. Be prepared to spend a couple thousand dollars for a few months of cheer.
Overall my daughter enjoyed her cheer experience, but this particular environment felt toxic and unpleasant to me. Your mileage may vary.

My daughter is starting her fourth year at Cheer Advantage and during our time at the gym, it has been such a pleasure to watch her grow both personally and athletically. The staff at CA took a shy girl who could barely do a cartwheel and turned her into a a much more confident young woman who can’t wait to go to practice and show off her ever growing set of skills. We couldn’t be happier with CA and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the program.

Cheer Advantage is a second home to all 3 of my daughters and they love all the coaches / staff. The cheer skills they have learned are awesome to watch, but more importantly, I can see they are learning the value of hard work and being a team player.

This is my daughters second year at cheer advantage. She has loved every second she spends at the gym. She has made many friends, memories and has had great experiences. The coaches work so hard with the kids and really take the time to help and work with them. From the first time we walked in the door me and my daughter felt welcomed and part of the family from the owners Jen and Cyndy and from all the coaches. This is our second home and wouldn’t change a thing
We love it here

If you are defending the recent events that have transpired you should be ashamed of yourself, especially if you are a POC. No child should have to experience that somewhere that should be a safe space. No action taken towards the aggressor and this is the problem with the world, people are not held accountable. The same people raising kids and passing on bad behavior.

My daughter has been at Cheer Advantage for three years. The gym is very family-oriented and the girls all love it. My daughter is also a POC and has never encountered one instance of racism.

My daughter has been at Cheer Advantage for the past three years. The owners are incredibly dedicated to their gym, their athletes, their cheer families and the sport of cheer.
In response to another recent review...
Competitive cheer is an expensive sport with a huge time commitment attached. All of the cost and details of the season are provided on the contract you and your child sign prior to the start of the season. If you do your research, all cheer gyms in the surrounding area, are all in the same ball park in terms of cost and services provided to their athletes.
My daughter was also supposed to compete at the recent Six Flags competition and while the whole situation was unfortunate, to say the least, it was at no fault of Cheer Advantage. All decisions regarding delaying , cancelling and thus not having the Cheer Advantage teams compete, because of the weather, was made by the Go Coastal producers.

Nice place but very overpriced for what they offer for the kids. They promised kids to compete in Six flags and last minute changed their minds because not every one could attend. A bit unfair if you ask me.
