Rarely have I encountered such blatantly dismissive and unprofessional treatment of customers. My experience at this pilates studio was a complete nightmare from start to finish.
Arriving 7-8 minutes before class, I was met with utterly indifferent staff. No one bothered to show me around the studio, explain the rules, or show any interest in a new client. I had to ask where the bathroom was myself. It was immediately clear that customer care is not a priority here.
Upon learning that special socks were required for class, I discovered they could only be purchased - no rental option whatsoever. With my non-standard foot size, finding a suitable pair proved problematic. I managed to find only one pair in size L, which would quite likely have been too small, but I couldn't even try them on.
When it became clear that I couldn't pay with Apple Pay (which was nowhere disclosed!), I approached the trainer. During our conversation, she was hunched over her phone, texting someone, clearly annoyed by my presence. I don't understand how to talk to someone who doesn't even look at you.
The trainer stated that she couldn't let me into class. No attempts were made to find a compromise or alternative solution. For instance, I was ready to go to the nearest ATM after class and bring back cash for the socks, but trying to communicate with someone glued to their phone who clearly demonstrates complete disinterest in the customer proved futile.
In my haste to leave, I forgot my water bottle by the equipment. When I realized and returned, the door was already locked. But I had no desire to return to the studio after an hour. I hope my little purple favorite bottle will be useful to someone.
Moreover, they charged me for a "missed" class. This is unacceptable, considering I was ready to pay for socks with any of the five cards in my Apple Wallet, but the studio doesn't accept Apple Pay (which is mentioned nowhere). It appears that shortcomings in their payment system are passed on to customers.
Absolutely DO NOT recommend!

Avoid at all costs.
I do want to say I really love two of their teachers—Lucy and Midori, so this review is not directed at them. But the overall experience with this studio has been incredibly disappointing. The membership system feels like a scam and should be looked into. They are inconsistent and inflexible when it comes to canceling classes or getting your credits back. It’s clear they’re more focused on money than providing a quality experience.
Teacher quality is also hit or miss. I took one class with Lacey and it was honestly uncomfortable, she seemed hungover and was visibly irritated when students didn’t follow her unclear instructions. That class felt awkward and unprofessional. I reached out to give feedback and never received a response, which is especially frustrating when you’re paying over $200 a month.
Save your money there are so many better studios out there.

I started at Club Pilates 3 months ago and my experience has been very positive so far! I can feel myself getting stronger and more toned. I highly recommend Angela as an instructor - she kicks my ass every time (in the best way possible!) She gives clear instructions, varies the workouts every week, gives individualized help with your form, and motivates you to keep going while keeping the vibes light and fun. You do have to be somewhat strategic when booking classes off the app since they fill up quick, but even when I've been 7th on the waitlist I've been pulled into the class. I always go about my day assuming I'll be pulled into every class I'm waitlisted, that way there's no surprises. Overall would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun way to get in shape :)

I did a trial class to start at Club Pilates, and was sold immediately. The class sizes allow for 1-on-1 attention when necessary, the classes feel inclusive for people of all experience, and mobility levels. The instructors help you feel empowered to keep going for “just 1 more”, and the variety of class types, and times allow me to fit everything I want into my schedule!

I just started with their level 1. Agree the booking policy is laughable but overall I am able to get classes. HOWEVER, this is not the place to go for a beginner no matter how much you see the phrase “all levels.”
If some instructors are trying to kill you while others are meh about teaching and can hardly be bothered to show you the moves they’re telling you to do, neither is an intro level.
So now you see how a poor booking system becomes a problem. If I knew an instructor was great, who knows if I’d be able to get into the class. Will I enjoy any of these classes? We’ll see. I was lulled into a false sense of security with my intro and now stuck with whatever might be available.
At the very least my stiff back always feels stretched out afterwards so there is some value to it. Clearly the (expensive) unlimited membership is the way to go if you know what you need, but I just want to work on a reformer by myself at this point. Actually, it’s strange they don’t offer an open gym session.

Today, I experienced a deeply unpleasant incident at the Somerville location of Club Pilates. I am a physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience, holding two master’s degrees in health and sports nutrition, and I am 6 months pregnant with medical clearance to practice pilates. This clearance was previously requested by the studio, which I provided, and I had already attended two Level 1.5 classes at this location within the last week without any issues.
However, today I was denied entry to a class because the instructor stated she "did not feel comfortable" teaching a pregnant woman. This reasoning lacks any professional basis and reflects a concerning lack of training.
This treatment not only made me feel discriminated against as a Latina woman, but it was also a frustrating and unfair experience—especially as a loyal client of the Lynnfield location, where I have never encountered similar problems. Exercising during pregnancy is safe and highly beneficial under proper supervision, and the attitude at Somerville completely contradicts the values your company should uphold.
I do not recommend this location to pregnant women or individuals from diverse communities. I hope measures are taken to prevent anyone else from experiencing what I went through today.

The teachers are nice, and it’s great having a studio so close to home.
However there’s definitely some inconsistencies in how they follow their policies. I arrived 6 minutes late today (absolutely my fault, which I will own up to - but I called twice & texted the studio number) but because I was just past the 5 minute policy there was no exception and I lost my class credit. For their unlimited members though, I’ve seen women enter class within the 10-12 minute late range with no question. So there’s unfortunately a big inequity if you have the 4 or 8 class a month membership, vs. the unlimited. So just know that in signing up, you will be treated based on the membership you select.

It wasn't a hard workout so if you're looking for a light chill pilates workout, this is the place for you. Everyone's required to wear grip socks. I didn't have a pair when off here but luckily they sold some. The cheapest one was $18 though.

The class booking/waiting list system is quite confusing. 95% of the classes have a waiting list and sometimes they put you in the class a couple hours before the class starts and if you cancel the class for any reason you lose your credit, since you canceled the class less than 12 hours before the class starts. In other words, If you don't show up or give your seat to the next person in line, they treat you the same way. I felt they’re don’t care about student satisfaction since they took 3 days to reply my request and got back with “we will be unable to recredit your class”. So I don’t recommend this place.

Unfair Business Practices – Should Be Reported to a Consumer Board in Boston
Please be aware: this place isn’t about Pilates; it’s actually about squeezing as much money from you as possible! Avoid this place.
I signed up for Club Pilates at Assembly Sq. cautiously, despite reading numerous reviews that raised red flags about their booking policies. I have Lyme arthritis, so I opted for the minimal 3-month membership with just 4 classes per month to test the waters. My goal was to experience their booking system firsthand and see if it worked for me. Many reviews mentioned that their booking policies were extremely unfair and inefficient. Paying $289 a month to sit on a waiting list didn’t sound great, and even with my 4-class membership, I experienced the same frustrations.
In my case, I received a message at 10:09 p.m. notifying me that I’d been pulled from the waitlist for a 6 p.m. class the following day. I wasn’t feeling well and, since I’d had the option before to decide whether to book a newly available spot, I didn’t expect this forced booking. I didn’t see the message until after 3 p.m. the next day and ended up penalized. I even made an agreement with them that, due to my condition, I could notify them 3 hours before if I wasn’t feeling well. Yet, I still ended up losing credits and sometimes paying nearly $65 per class with a $129 four-class membership, since cancellations due to illness counted against me.
Adding to the frustration, Club Pilates does not allow you to sign up online. You must enroll in person, where staff “explains” each policy section by section as you sign, but this verbal explanation leaves out important details. For instance, they don’t clearly mention that with lower-tier memberships (4 or 8 classes per month), you can only use accrued credits within that specific month—no carryover allowed. So, if the studio’s heavy demand makes it hard to get into classes, you’re simply out of luck.
What’s worse, if your membership starts late in the month and there’s a waitlist, it’s unlikely you’ll get the classes you need in time, essentially wasting that month’s credits.
Additionally, their unfair business practices require you to commit to at least three months or pay a penalty. It’s worth noting that for a contract to be legally valid and enforceable under the consumer act, it must be fair. Threatening to send clients to collections for wanting out of an agreement when services aren’t being delivered is a violation of consumer rights.
Here’s a list of all the major inconveniences I experienced with this location (Assembly Sq.):
• Unfair, overly complicated membership policies: Requires an in-person sign-up, and they don’t fully disclose terms, which include a $90 initiation fee and penalties for not committing to 3 months.
• Inefficient booking system: Classes are always booked, so even paying members rarely get spots. With limited spots, classes fill up in the first week or two, leaving just two weeks to make up all your classes.
• Excessive 12-hour cancellation policy: You’re charged a fee if you cancel within 12 hours, even for unforeseen issues, like work emergencies. They often pull members off the waitlist last minute, enforcing the 12-hour policy unethically to make money off last-minute penalties.
• Strict no-rollover policy: Credits expire each month, even if you can’t book classes due to the waitlist.
• Impossible to cancel without penalty: They require a 30-day notice to cancel, essentially binding you to a fourth month even after fulfilling the initial three-month term.
• Poor customer service: Reception staff is not allowed or trained to answer questions promptly, so you risk losing credits or incurring penalties when issues arise.
• Delayed customer service: Issues take up to 48 hours to reach a manager.
Conclusion: This is clearly a scam business, and its practices constitute a violation under the consumer act. This should definitely be reported to a consumer board. If you value fair business practices, do not sign up here.

WHO: Club Pilates - Studio
WHAT: Reformer Pilates
WHEN: Book Classes through their APP
WHERE: Assembly Square, Somerville, MA
HOW: With approachable, and supportive Instructors that meet you where you are on your fitness journey with no judgement.
The studio is well appointed and super clean. The equipment is top tier. CP uses a “waitlist” in their App to book classes. I was skeptical of the “waitlist” system of getting into classes at first but, I have not had any problems getting into the classes I prefer. There is 3 hour free parking in the nearby garage and some parking meters in front of the building. Each class starts with the instructor asking if you have any injuries or other issues so that modifications can be made during class. In addition, after each class the instructor stays in the studio to answer any questions or address concerns you may have. Also, the current Studio Manager fosters a welcoming, positive vibe in the studio and treats everyone with respect.
I am enjoying my membership. I am getting stronger and I can feel the difference in my overall well being.

I’ve been a member at this CP for a little over a year and have loved this location! The teachers I’ve had are very friendly and know how to safely teach + accommodate various injuries/levels. The front desk folks are always super helpful and welcoming - especially the manager Becca. They are very responsive and managing my membership couldn’t be easier, I’ve never had an issue and their policies are very clear. The studio, reformers, and bathrooms are always clean and well maintained/stocked. Great area (Assembly Row) with restaurants and easy parking, orange line or bus access - and the other people taking class are generally very friendly and supportive.

The best Pilates studio!! I've been attending Club Pilates for over eight years and have always had an incredible experience. Not only is the Assembly location extremely accessible with convenient parking — the studio is also very tidy and clean, the customer service is amazing, and the instructors are some of the best in the Pilates practice. The class schedule offers a wide variety of class types to suit the type of workout you're looking for, the reformers are in perfect condition, and they offer fun workshops! I couldn't recommend Club Pilates more. It's my favorite place to get a good workout in, unwind, and relax my body while strengthening it at the same time. 100/10 always!

BEWARE--this company has very shady membership and billing procedures. They charge the same as a car payment per month, have fine print that isn't given to you in writing (explained in person), has 30 day cancellation policies that they aggressively try to work around, their ads say "free intro class" but after contacting them they'll tell you that you need to buy a membership to have a free intro class (which is impossible to cancel), and if you dispute any of their behavior or policies with your credit card company and win THEY SEND DEBT COLLECTORS TO THREATEN YOU. Dude it's PILATES. Go somewhere you'll actually get peace and health--it's not these consumerism scammers. Read the companies responses to the hundreds of 1 star reviews...they literally blame the clients even in their responses. One woman complained that an instructor looked at her phone all class and their response was that "everyone learns from different styles" and got defensive about their training. This company literally gaslights their own clientele. Countdown until they go under. There are other pilates places in town with hundreds of perfect 5 star reviews. Do not bother all you're going to do is get money stolen from you without an apology (and if you stand up for your rights they'll start threatening you with litigation over a hundred bucks!)

To be serious the customer service/general experience you will have here is on par with the absolutely worst you can find anywhere. This place and most of the places in “FitRow” are the most soulless, lifeless, corporate hellscapes you will encounter.
I’m not disparaging Club Pilates as a whole just this location. THIS LOCATION should be wiped off of the map, everyone would be better off for it. It’s not just the front desk people, it’s the instructors too. And when some corporate worker responds to this review remember that this is not one of the lazy, miserable bums who works at this location it’s someone far away trying to show a level of kindness unattainable by any of the dementors working on location.

TL;DR: Club Pilate's booking system is terrible. If I could, I'd give it zero stars but this particular location is fine, so I give it 3 stars.
WARNING ask for a full print out of their membership policy and read it carefully. They do not let you sign up online, it has to be in person, and they verbally "explain" each section with a signature prompt that obscures the actual agreement text.
The classes are fairly good if you can manage to book them. Unfortunately I will not be renewing my membership because of Club Pilates' corporate policies on booking. If you are planning to get an unlimited membership (which at this date is over $250/mo) than this is a good studio to check out. Most of the instructors are solid, the studio is clean, and the reformers are of high quality. You can stop reading here. However, if you are NOT planning on getting an unlimited membership, I do NOT recommend Club Pilates. This was not described well to me (actually, I only overheard a poor description given to another prospective member), but the only other membership levels give you 4 or 8 credits a month which you can only book once they are accrued and cannot carry them over to the next month. This may seem small at first until you realize that the waiting lists for this location are large and you are not able to book in advance. So if your member starts on the 1st of the next month and it's currently the 31st, you're SOL for trying to get the classes you want for the next two weeks. MAYBE you can get them for the 3rd or 4th week. Oh, and if you think, well, I'll just carry my credits on to the next month, no. They can only be spent for that month. This is the most absurd policy I've ever heard of and has made it impossible for me to be a regular member. The stupid thing is, I was thinking about upgrading my membership package if I liked the classes enough. But the only way I can attend regularly is if I pay for the unlimited membership where I can book whenever I want. If I wanted to go 10 or more times a month, this would be monetarily favorable. But I know that I cannot commit to that many classes a month. So alas, they have lost a member. I may pay per class. It will "be more expensive" for me at $38/class, but not really since I forcefully cannot use my credits anyways. At this point, each class is costing me effectively $75+ as I piss away half my credits every month. Truly appalling.

This is the WORST club. Their policies suck and their customer service is horrible. I signed up (with a $90 initiation fee by the way) to get 8 classes a month for $200…. When you first sign up you HAVE to commit to 3 months otherwise you pay a penalty. I went after my three months to cancel my membership to find out I have to pay for an additional month because there is a 30 day notice policy. After explaining my confusion to the desk attendant as well as the GM they said I didn’t read my agreement close enough and I should have let them know within my second month. I stated that I understand it’s in the agreement however I didn’t come to them in the second month because I would have to pay a fee (which they confirmed in this conversation) so now because I stood by the three month agreement they get to squeeze a fourth months payment out of me. They did not understand my confusion or see my point and dismissed me.
Not only are their policies horrible but the app is horrible as well. Always booked up. They also charge a no show fee if you cancel within 12 hours of the class… I understand you have to have some cancelation window but 12 hours is excessive considering there were a couple occasions where I fully intended on going but had a major event happen at work so I would cancel 4 hours ahead but still get charged.
Do not go to this studio, seriously try one of the studios in Boston instead they are way better and way more flexible.

Be careful- I purchased a 3 month initial membership, and got injured (hip), dr told me to take a break. they wouldn’t freeze/ hold my membership for the injury nor when I got Covid over Christmas, since ‘their system’ wouldn’t allow me to since I intended to cancel after 3 months. No effort by management to give me makeup credits, even with a dr note. Lost $300.
Instructors vary widely- some, like Alexandra and Bernadette are amazing. Some like Sophie don’t even pay attention, no corrections (even when you mention an injury) and does the same thing every class. Consider fitlife, lifetime (right around the corner) or other private studios instead- much more considerate and will accommodate injuries/ sickness.

Most instructors are great, but one instructor, I believe her name is Sophie is always half asleep and staring at her phone most of the class, which means a half hearted workout and risks of injuries due to lack of guidance. I have cancellation problem. They have a horrible management. They answered it cannot be done because I didn't leave any signed form (although they said in oral communication you're all set and it will be refunded, they just delayed their response after that. I'd never used my membership in the period, but it was not refunded). They even renewed my membership by cheating my sigature. Since there is the cancellation policy which is written as it can be cancelled within three business day without any penalty, I requested the cancellation the day after I received my renewed contract (I didn't sign though). But whenever I asked the cancellation and to get the form to cancel, I heard they do not have any signing form at all and repeat it cannot be cancelled. And they enforced me to pay the upcoming month as well.

I love Club Pilates. I got really out of shape and CP is low impact and gently helps your body get used to strength training. It is definitely not like hitting the weights at the gym. It’s small intentional movements that make a huge difference. My favorite instructors are Ana, Maite, and Arnold. I love Ana’s classes when I’m wanting to take some time with the movements. I've been a member at Club Pilates since they opened at Assembly Row back in 2017 and I can honestly say that this has been the only exercise routine I have been able to stick with consistency year after year. This can certainly be attributed to the positive, encouraging, and welcoming culture of the studio that goes well beyond the 50 minutes you spend in class, of course in addition to the extensive training and knowledge of the instructors. As someone who has to be careful about proper movement and alignment in order to avoid injury, I deeply value the knowledge that each instructor brings to the class that extends past the basic principles of any particular exercise. Each session is comprehensive, thoughtfully planned out and challenging! You may not always realize it in the moment, but you walk out stronger after having a fantastic full-body workout!
Starting pilates with Club Pilates at Assembly Row has been life changing in the best possible way, I'm so grateful for this community that moves together!!

I'm so glad I became a member at Club Pilates Assembly Row! All of the instructors and so knowledgeable in their field and really make every class challenging and fun. The studio has been extremely well kept and clean I always felt comfortable being there throughout COVID. Working out has never been something that I would look forward to until I joined Club Pilates. I highly recommend joining!

I can't speak highly enough of Club Pilates in Assembly and reformer pilates in general. I joined in 2017 when they first opened and was a member for over a year before regretfully moving and ceasing my membership. I recently rejoined and am kicking myself for ever stopping.
As far as reformer pilates as a workout goes you really cannot go wrong. It has helped me immensely on my wellness journey through managing pain associated with chronic illness, and has coupled really well with various PT I've needed over the years. Limitation or not reformer pilates provides a full body workout that is generally low impact enough for anyone and can be customized to any intensity level. It also couples really well with and includes mindfulness and breathing practice and is a great outlet.
I really love each instructor at Assembly for their own reasons, and will highlight a few.
Katie makes a point to get to know every person that takes her class. She walks one by one down the line of reformers before every class starts to introduce herself to newcomers, learn about their body and limitations, and ask everyone she has been acquainted with how their body is feeling and if anything is bothering them that day. She has a strong attention to detail, which leads to consistent hands on correction, even and especially small tweaks. As someone with a chronic condition I can't say enough how much I appreciate and respect this approach.
Arnold has a long history with body work and it shows in how he teaches his classes. He makes a point to describe and name muscle groups and exactly how they should feel what and when. He is extremely insightful especially about integrating pilates with other wellness methodologies. His anecdotes make class fun and engaging.
Maite has extensive dance training which shows in her class teachings. Movements she instructs are always elegant and make me feel tall and strong. Classes with her are always equally challenging and rewarding.
Rebekah is my favorite of the remaining instructors, but it is definitely close :) I see a lot of what I've said about the 3 above in her, which is really awesome. She is always happy to listen to a complaint, concern, etc. and provide a suggestion for a commonly included pose/exercise, a stretch/exercise to do at home, etc. I find the way that she vocalizes instruction/corrections to be extremely helpful and intuitive.
I've also really appreciated CP Assembly's covid policies, standards, and cleanliness since I have rejoined. Can't wait for the additional class types to be added back to the schedule!

First off, this studio has been extremely safe and clean during covid- so if that makes you nervous, don’t be! They take so many precautions. I’m so glad I found them in sept 2020. I was weeks away from getting steroid injections for my SIJ/Sciatica pain I’ve been struggling with for years. After 2-3 months of regular Pilates sessions and 2 private lessons , I was 80% pain free. 7 months down the road, I’m 95% free and couldn’t be more grateful. I’m a club Pilates ‘lifer’ now and feel out of sorts if I don’t attend a couple times a week. Parking is super easy at the garage and free. Haven’t met an instructor I don’t like! My only suggestion would be to add in more cardio type classes or any other variation to the class format (I know the Portsmouth NH location does this for example) to increase variety in the class types/styles.

I love Club Pilates Assembly Row! I have been taking classes at this location for the past couple years, and at other locations before that - every instructor is attentive, has great experience and provides a great workout. I feel like they really care about what they are doing and about the individuals in the class! Club Pilates is fun, has improved my strength and I find makes a physical difference in my body. Thank you to all, especially Anna, Katie, Maite and Arnold!

I decided to try club pilates after only being familiar with mat pilates. I was a little nervous to try the reformer, but Alexandra, the instructor, made it so easy to follow along that I didn’t feel like a beginner on the reformer! Alexandra’s very knowledgeable, and instructs an amazing class! I was definitely a little sore the next day (which means it’s a great class to me)! The studio is very clean, and the staff is very welcoming. I always love coming to this location!

I just had my first class today with Katie and she was AWESOME! I have been dealing with some injuries and Katie made the time to check in before and after class to make sure I was okay and made sure I wasn't over-doing it (I deff have a tendency to push myself). It was a great class I can't wait to go back!:) Another plus- everyone that works there is really nice and super helpful! :)

Love love love club Pilates, started in January as just something to try but I ended up really falling into it. I’ve been sitting at a desk in my house all quarantine and started to feel it in my back. Pilates has deff strengthen my core and posture. Katie and Maite are soooo helpful they make you feel like you’re getting the most out of your class. Adjusting and helping you get the position right so you can really feel it where you’re suppose to. I’ve definitely seen a difference in my strength and alignment from only taking one class a week since January and they make it so I look forward to it. Love you club Pilates! :)

Absolutely love this studio and doing pilates on the reformer! I look forward to class and find it calming after work. It’s helped tremendously with strengthening my core and alleviating back pain from sitting all day. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and ensure you have the correct form so you see results. I recommend Katie’s class — she gives really descriptive cues for each exercise and the class is always challenging!

I started attending Club Pilates just over a month ago and I can't rave enough about this place. The studio is spacious enough to accommodate 12 attendees, but still has a tightknit and intimate environment so that you can foster friendships with other students as well as the instructors. There's always a friendly face behind the front counter, and they always have the cutest/stylish grip socks for sale. My favorite instructors are Katie and Natalia. They're both so knowledgeable and experienced, and you can tell they truly care about their students' wellbeing. They come to class with such grace and energy and really make you feel welcome but also motivated to work hard. I've been to just about 25 classes here and I can already feel and see my body changing. Club Pilates is truly a gem in the busy mall of Assembly Row. I'd highly recommend a membership or even just an intro class so that you can experience it for yourself :-)

Literally obsessed with CP. I try to go at least 6 times a week. Mgmt is great in my opinion - Jessa is super understanding and helpful. Can’t wait till classes go back to 100% capacity! There was a short period of time where I was waitlisted for a class, got into the class, and it was only half full but I think that has been resolved. The instructors have varying levels of difficulty, which is great when you need a work out but still want to be able to walk the next day. Hiiiiighly recommend!!!

Love this place! The studio is immaculate and the instructors are supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend trying Pilates on the reformer if you haven't - it's truly like no other workout. You have to intentionally move and keep your mind present in the moment, which I find to be very therapeutic. Once you practice consistently, you'll start to see how much easier everything (seriously, everything) else in your life becomes.

My experience here has to be the worst. I’m still waiting for an email to cancel my membership. The worst part of this is that they continue to take $179.00 monthly out of my acct for the pass 3 months .

This place is incredibly POORLY MANAGED. I was sold an unlimited package that I was inable to use to to restrictions and limited hours. I called and emailed MULTIPLE TIMES even speaking to a (male) front desk worker IN PERSON who was able to show me on the computer screen that my emails were infact recieved AND IGNORED. I could go on and on but the reviews that state they are "just about money" and do not care about their clients ARE ALL TRUE. I wish I took them more seriously, but these days anyone can write an injust bad review. I will be contacting The Better Business Bureau and my credit card company along with my trail on unanswered phone calls and emails to have my money refunded. I also saved a RUDE voicemail from Pam. Stay away. There are many amazing places in FitRow at assembly that deserve your hard earned money and club plates is NOT one of them. Not for what they offer. Do your research before signing up or you will be in my shoes as a heath care provided in a global pandemic stuck paying for a membership with such limited availability im not sure how people even get into a class! The studio "opens at 6am" but no class at that time. I can go on but will spare you. I hardly write bad reviews as I'm not in the business of bashing others but this was well deserved.

This place has the WORST customer service. HORRIBLE! Within less than 2 hrs notice I was kicked out (as they called it "booking cancelled") of a class without any information/reasoning as to why - they didn't even contact me FIRST. So, I called, was put on hold with the call being dropped. Because the class was to start in an hour and a half, I ended up calling 5 more times (4 of which I kept getting voicemail for which I left one (no one called me back), and finally the 5th time) I got a hold of the the manager. According to her, they determine if and when you are ready for a 1.5 class. I have been a member and taken CP classes (of all levels) for ~1.5 years now all over the US (LA, Chicago, Denver and NYC). No of them have been this poorly managed. So, I requested (since I am moving out of state tomorrow and will no longer be in Boston) a refund of the drop-in rate but they would not honor this to me. All she could tell me was "Sorry"... that they could not do anything for me... and that "I have till Nov date to take a class" since I have one pass left after this cancelation. I told her I am moving TOMORROW and have no other free times TODAY to take a class with them, TRULY moving - leaving town- and still nothing... I would not be surprised if they randomly kicked out another member just to get me in that afternoon if I was available... For a place that charges insane fee amounts if it's something you do as a member ($10 for a Late Cancel or $15 for a No Show)...This is ROBBERY!! You can easily charge people but you WON'T even consider or do a return on a class you canceled based on your policies. You stole my money and I will not forget that. BAD PRACTICE business wise. Y'all should be ashamed of yourself! Not coming here ever again and I encourage everyone else to double check their policies and have them be accountable for having bad business practices.

I've been a member of Club Pilates Assembly Row for the past 2.5 months and LOVE it! I joined for a number of reasons, but primarily to increase bone strength and overall strength. The instructors are terrific - highly skilled and effective with adjustments as needed. I particularly like the variety - even though I take the Reformer Flow 1 classes, every class is different. After consistently going twice a week, I definitely feel stronger, my posture is better, and as a side benefit, I've lost inches in my abdominal and hip areas.

I love Club Pilates! I’ve never stuck with a workout routine but I love Pilates for being a good challenge and never being too repetitive. I really appreciate that the focus is always on good form and not about maxing out on reps or using too much weight. I’ve noticed a huge difference in muscle tone and strength since I joined about a year ago! The instructors are great and there are different levels and styles of class which allow you a lot of variety, too.

I started at Club Pilates in Assembly Row as an unrepentant non-exerciser. I had been committed to art, eating, and drinking wine, not necessarily in that order. In addition, I have had the experience of joining gyms and workout practices only to be felled by injury, if my own lack of enthusiastic momentum didn’t fell me first.
I began with weekly individual sessions with the instructors, and soon fell into a rhythm of not only showing up but appreciating the difficulty of the workout. The instructors were actively encouraging, working on developing not only my strength and flexibility but also on developing my trust in them and in the exercises. After three months of solo work, I started taking level 1 classes, having developed the confidence that I needed that I knew how to perform (or at least attempt) the exercises and would neither get myself in trouble or make a fool of myself. I am now seven months into the work. My torso has easily lost two inches in diameter at all points and my left knee, which has been known to be tricky, no longer complains. I am even excited (and a little scared) to become certified to take level 1.5 courses and advance my practice.
Two quick additional things: one, I was a little put off by the ‘corporateness’ of Club Pilates at first. However, it doesn’t bother me at all now because they have a lot of the operations down and efficiently covered and the app is useful for scheduling. Two, there is free parking at the Partner’s building lot for up to three hours, so your workout is not doubly costly.

I love Club Pilates so much. I have never really found a workout I loved until I found Pilates. The instructors are amazing, knowledgeable and have been profoundly helpful in helping me getting back into shape after a major surgery. I cannot recommend the free intro class enough- you'll be hooked in no time. The studio is always clean and the space makes everyone feel included from beginners to experts. My body looks completely different after 3 months and my strength is increasingly noticeable week over week.

The instructors are extremely knowledgeable with years of experience, and always have time to answer any questions, or modify something if I need it! The studio is very clean, and there is a juice bar around the corner. Parking in the garage is free for 3 hours and classes are offered throughout the day which is really convenient!

Club Pilates has been a key to my fitness journey. As an athlete in both high school and college I can honestly say I have never felt stronger than I do after going to CP. The instructors are knowledgable and always willing to work with the needs of YOUR body, even during a full 12 person group class. The front desk staff and instructors alike make you feel at home and genuinely care about their clients. There is a variety of classes for all needs; from cardio sculpt to reform every class is helpful in fixing posture, gaining muscle, and laughing with new friends.

This place has no respect for members, they want your money and absolute obedience so they feel like your savior LOL. If you are a masochist and like to be hypnotized then go ahead, because if your movement doesn’t synchronize with their voice they get angry for feeling less like a master.
