When I first started thinking about hiring a trainer, I was not impressed by most. I wasn't looking to enter a bodybuilding competition. That is what most trainers were advertising. That isn't what I wanted. I wanted guidance and someone to lead me the way in changing my lifestyle. Being 55 and about 100lbs over weight doesn't make for a long life. I knew that involved meal planning, cardio, weightlifting, and accountability. Accountability being the most important. If I was going to commit to that, and a serious lifestyle change, I needed someone who I trust to take me on that journey. Chris knows what he is doing. Plain and simple. From exercise routines to meal planning to supplements, Since day 1 I have been in good hands. It has been a lot of hard work and I am about halfway to my goals, but I know Chris has me on the right path. It isn't easy and Chris will push you to accomplish more than you think you can. He has changed my life.

Chris Simons is a professional in every sense of the word. His clients range from professional bodybuilders, to fitness competitors, to corporate workers and to your every day person trying to get better. There is so much misinformation out there and Chris takes the time to listen and understand the client's needs and goals and then goes out of his way to break it down in a way that is simple to apply and consume.
The end goal is not the improved physique - the end goal is an improved overall sense of well being, confidence and discipline by fostering habits that can be repeated on a daily basis.
Chris provides custom nutritional guidelines, exercise structure and also challenges his clients to push themselves to identify goals in all aspects of life: fitness, relationship, familial, work, etc. With this approach, you get the benefit of being guided by one of the top fitness professionals in the game and also develop the skills and character traits to take what you learn in the gym and apply to outside in life.
I can undoubtedly say that Chris has helped change my life for the better. I am eating better, sleeping and recovering better, and have an invigorated sense of confidence that I never knew I had. I recommend Chris to anyone at any level or stage of their fitness journey and am confident it will have a profound impact on your life.
And to end, I was scared to begin this process. A lot of people wait until they are motivated to start, with Chris, I started and then found that motivation!

I had come across chris years ago while searching for someone who has the experience and produces the results for a total body transformation. I had always lifted but I never understood how to build muscle or how to fuel my body properly. Finally after years of following chris, I decided to reach out to him and begin the journey. Chris has been nothing but a great mentor and coach. Every session with him produced results and he explained everything that was going on with how my body was reacting. He legitimately knows everything when it comes to the human body. My first time working out with him, he knew all of the exact weights to give me just by looking at me.(which still blows my mind) He is always consistent and he is always there for me! My life has only gotten better and continues to get better. Old injuries from the past have gotten better as well because of him! I would highly suggest going to chris, he isn't just another coach who talks a big game. He lives this lifestyle day after day and because of that, he has completely changed my life for the better! Chris is an amazing coach. I've been training with him for over a year now and he really has helped me transform my body. I thought I was in decent shape before I started working with him, but I had no idea. I've lost more than fifteen pounds and built definition and muscles. Now even strangers stop me to compliment my physique. I also am constantly asked if I'm training to compete in a show. It's really unbelievable.
Prior to working with Chris, I had several personal trainers but knew something was off with my regime. I was doing weights, a lot of cardio and barely eating. I am a vegan and ate healthy but just wasn't seeing results. Chris wrote up a vegan meal plan for me, with five meals a day and also changed my exercise routine. He decreased my cardio leaving room to then ramp it up. It's a science he has mastered. (I never thought I'd see better results with more food and less cardio but it really works!)
I am truly grateful that I started working with Chris and there is no doubt I will train with him forever. It is wonderful to work with someone who sees the whole picture as opposed to just advising me on weight training. He is extremely dedicated to his clients and the best there is.

A little less than a year ago, I showed up to meet Chris slightly intimidated, significantly overweight, frustrated at having cycled through many failed diets, several different trainers and about to turn 40. Today, I’m on track to lose 100lbs in one year, feeling more fit and happy than I have in a decade, and still super motivated to continue training with Chris.
Unlike other trainers, Chris is the full package offering comprehensive coaching on diet, exercise and attitude. He’s never been late or flaked on a training session, is always available by text or phone and has only been supportive and understanding despite my initial fitness level. I legitimately look forward to my workouts with Chris. Chris has coached me through both weight loss and motivational plateaus to a point where I’m eager to stick with it to see how far I can go.

Where do I begin with Coach Simmons,
If you want a no frills, no BS trainer and measurable results - Chris is your guy.
I worked with Chris for about 7 months - and the only reason I stopped there was because I have to do some extended traveling for work and my schedule is still up in the air. Otherwise, I'd gladly continue and I intend on returning.
I've always been involved in sports and exercised regularly but truly lacked knowledge and the understanding of the science behind that knowledge. The only knowledge I had was gym "broscience" and I know I'm not the only one out there.
I wanted to try my hand at competing in a physique show - having never done anything like that before I wanted to do it the right way. I wanted to train like a competitor and be one too. After extensive research - I decided to work with Chris.
At the beginning, Chris informed me from square one that this will be a journey, and if I'm willing to put in the work, he will get me there. And in 7 months, he has. Unfortunately due to my unexpected work travel schedule I wasn't able to compete however together we chose an end date that would be my own personal "competition day."
Pros of working with Chris:
One of the greatest gains in the last 7 months has been the knowledge the transfer. I have learned so much from this experience. He doesn't just tell you the "what" he will explain the "why." He'll also be patient and answer any questions that follow (trust me I ask lots of questions). This is something that was crucially important to me, as I've had friends who have worked with other trainers and became very frustrated never knowing the why's behind the nutrition/workout plan. I have even learned more about my own body and how it interacts with certain foods, water, frequency of exercises etc.
If you're hesitant about remote coaching like I was - don't be. Chris will respond to a message within 5 minutes (not exaggerating). And I would text him from 5am to 11pm. To have the ability to just shoot random questions from a specific meal to advice on muscle recovery methods and receive a thorough response from Chris in minutes is invaluable. Especially when you are at the grocery store or in the middle of a workout. It feels like you have your coach right there with you whenever you need.
Foods. Some people will complain about repetitive meals but I think they forget how necessary it is especially at the beginning. Chris needs to get you on a stable/consistent diet to understand how your body reacts to increases/decreases in quantities and the results have to be measurable. He's not a personal chef that will shoot out unique recipes everyday people. Having said that over the course of 7 months - I've had various nutrition plans with new foods, snacks, carb cycles, we even tried a ketogenic diet. He was able to help me get through any plateau in progress.
I've truly never felt healthier and more in shape.

I've been working with Chris for 5 and half months and I'm down 49lbs. Started with Chris 2months after foot surgery. I feel great, he's changed my lifestyle for the better. I feel healthier and fit and I'm loving it. Alot of hard work dedication but I'm loving it. Chris is by far the best trainer out there. He knows a lot about nutrition most trainers don't. He's very passion and loves helping people achieve their fitness goals. He's always available for questions or concerns. He's a very professional passionate knowledgeable and caring person. He always inspires me to do better. For best results you have to stick with the plan he lays out for you. Be 100% everyday day in day out. It's all about being committed dedicated and consistency is key...

I have been training with Coach Simons for almost 11 months now and it has been a great experience. I sought out Chris when I was looking to get into competing in the NPC. His experience, knowledge and attention to detail allowed me to develop my body over these months and so far I am undefeated in the three NPC bikini competitions I have competed in so far. Chris is also preparing me for my first national competition later this year! Additionally, he is very responsive and honest which you don't see a lot of these days! I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone looking to get into shape or compete. He knows his stuff :)

I met Chris Simons a little more than 1 month ago. At the time I was looking to make changes in my eating habits and fitness level.
I googled "best trainer in Quincy", he showed up on Yelp.
Since I'm a faithful yelper, and he only has 5 stars reviews (from all 3 people who reviewed him) I decided to go ahead and learn more about him through his website.
Over there, I read great reviews from a variety of people of all ages, but only saw pictures of body builders. I was slightly worried, since I wondered if he would be able to work with me a regular woman with a stressful job and some bouts of emotional eating. Profile was convincing enough for me to decide to give him a try.
I texted him on a Saturday, we met on Sunday and I started on Monday.
Sunday's meeting went pretty well, I was very excited, Chris was attentionate, made me feel like we were going to do this together! Reassured me that I would not be eating lettuce all day.
Convinced that this was a good step forward I paid for 1 month of "remote coaching" - meaning that he would tell me what to eat, what exercise to do and I check in/ report to him a couple of times a week.
Chris sent me my diet for 1 full day via email the next day with a list of recommendations on supplements. 1st day went well, i thought cool I could do this. Later on that same day I asked him if he could send me my menu for day 2. He answered that I would be eating day 1 menu all week, for 7 days. I thought ok fair enough.
Post 7 days, I tell him to send me my menu for week 2 so I can go grocery shop and prepare accordingly he tells me, oh menu 1 is for 30 days, same exercise too by the way.
The diet and all the instructions were pretty strict. I think around day 10 I got tired of eating the same food every day all day, and asking if I can eat this instead of that.
By then, I had lost 6 lbs which felt great but slightly worrisome as I know that rapid weight loss isn't sustainable, and that wasn't what I was looking for.
I wanted to learn about eating anf fitness habits that I could use for a lifetime.
So, I remained honest with him, told him that his plan wasn't working for me, and expressed my concerns and struggles.
The self proclaimed "life coach" completely went off on me, some of the personal attacks and tactless behavior included but were not limited to: "I lack integrity in myself, I fear commitment and feeling uncomfortable"
I was quite shocked by his response and his lack of professionalism.
I paid 250 dollars for 30 days of "remote coaching" - on day 1, I am told to eat the exact same food and same exercise for those 30 days. When I ask for substite/alternatives/options, I am told that "food is fuel". - literally suck it up.
In summary, if you're looking for strict athlete/ body builder training, Chris MIGHT be your guy.
BUT if you're looking for someone to help you achieve long life eating and fitness goals, a partner in your journey to a better/fitter you - someone who will listen to you, and design a personal plan that works for you. Someone who will not attack you the minute you share that this might not be working, someone who cares about your success - I can ASSURE you that Chris IS NOT the guy for you!

I had come across Coach through a co worker of mine who had been working with him for awhile and seen incredible results so I decided to setup a consultation to discuss my goals.
It had been a very long time since I exercised regularly and I was quite nervous to start up again being overweight and unhealthy but I knew something had to be done.
Coach Simons was extremely compassionate to my needs and made me feel comfortable immediately.
The nutrition plan and workouts were designed around my work schedule and we were able to ease into the lifestyle changes gradually.
Within a couple of weeks I was feeling so much better, sleeping better, with tons more energy! I was able to lose 7lbs within the first month, 9lb in my second month and it continues to get better and better! I am so happy 😁
