I used to go to CorePower when living in 2 other cities and found these studios to be consistent in terms of cleanliness, instructor quality, and overall atmosphere. I went to this Harvard Sq location and was very disappointed to immediately notice that the locker room and studio were both dirty (hair, dirt, and dust on the floors). The instructor was kind & helpful, but the sequence itself felt like a lot of stretching rather than flows; she also included 2 sets of inversions which I try to avoid. In comparison to other core powers & nearby studios (same level class), I expected a better workout with much less inversions. Lastly, I think that incorporating music in class to create a more energized workout environment would have helped; the instructor started with some quiet ambient sounds, but about half way through the class there was no music playing.

I’ve read so many good reviews but since I joined they cancelled morning class at 6:30 twice , I’m so disappointed! As I spent my time to came and just wasted it at the end , they didn’t even inform that class was cancelled!

I only took one class but I’m not in a rush to return. As a beginner, it was very difficult to follow the motions, see the instructor, and hear the instructor despite amplification equipment. The class opened by talking about fear and crow’s pose. There seemed to be a discrepancy with the thermostat setting at ~80 but reading 100. It was very hot.

Made my reservation and paid. Showed up early. Teacher showed up not at all. Class canceled. Front desk employee was apologetic but I kinda expected more, like an email with a pass to another class, or at least something to recognize the wasted travel time, which wasn't insignificant in my case. As an aside they have a tiny men's locker room where the urinal is awkwardly out in the open and the hand dryer is literally down the hall from the sink.

As a recent transplant from Canada where we have tons of infrared yoga, I've been trying to find infrared yoga in the Cambridge area. I decided to try out this Core location after trying out a few hot yoga studios and I was surprised and delighed to find that the studio does not have forced air or the old school Bikram heaters but infrared panels. I was so so stoked. I feel much better doing yoga with infrared and frankly find forced air hot yoga kind gross as ducts often are not maintained well and they harbor dust and mold especially in hot yoga studios. The class was great and the studio was mold free (not the case with some other studios I have visited(. I am giving it 4 stars only because they don't have many Fusion classes (just once a week) but all in all a great studio.

Be careful with the 2 week "free" trial! It will auto-enroll you in a $175/month membership without emailing receipts of the charges.

Big CorePower fan - I've been loving trying the different studios in Boston! This studio does seem to be a bit warmer than others though. I never really struggle with the heat, but felt pretty dizzy here and had to take multiple breaks.

This is a great place in a convinent location! I love the staff and the classes. Only comment would be it feels a bit hotter than the other studios I've been to in the area.

Visited the yoga studio while it was still under construction. The layout of the studio is convenient when signing in. Once the construction finishes, hopefully you can hear the teacher over the music.

Nice new location in Harvard Square! Just visited for C2 class with Shoshana, and it was wonderful. The heat in the room was not as hot as I was used to in L.A., but it was good enough. I satisfied my Yogi needs. Nameste.
