Simply put, our mission is to help you, “Change Your Life.”

We are a CrossFit community that was established in 2009, and the most experienced CrossFit gym in the area. All of our coaches are educated to provide the highest quality training, nutrition, and fitness programs.

We will encourage you to work hard and provide the support and accountability needed to achieve your goals. All workouts are scalable to your ability and fitness needs. We can work with injuries and modify and/or scale as needed. That’s what we are here for!

If you are looking for a fun, energetic, welcoming and non-judgmental place to exercise and meet your fitness and nutrition goals. CrossFit Swarm is the perfect place for you. I have been a member for one year and it has changed my life. Any rumors you have heard about CrossFit are false. Here at Swarm the Coaches are truly invested in your personal fitness and progress. People who exercise here are in all shapes and sizes. What sets this gym apart from the rest is community. Everyone here encourages each other despite their fitness level. The first step to making a change is to show up. This was my first goal!

Brian was very energetic today. He was very thorough in making sure this huge class had the Hang Power Clean technique square up. The music was good and he was very encouraging through this sprint workout! I appreciate the sense of humor and great instruction he provided us today.

Friday 5am was full of energy and Michelle brought that to class. A cherry greeting from her as I arrived at 4:35am! She knows how to manage a large class. This was a test day for 1 Rep dead-lift. Safety was her first priority! She enlisted the support of a secondary coach to make sure all the athletes were correct in form! Michelle also played the right music to pump us up for the challenge today! It was a fantastic, fun 5am cross-fit workout!

Class was good with Coach Brian. He seemed happy and ready to go at 4:40am. He gave our class great teaching points on form for power-cleans. I also appreciate is gentle approach to softly correcting my form. Power-cleans are a challenging exercise but super fun if you can get the form down. I appreciate his positivity and smiles. Much needed on this cold New England brisk morning!

It was great to have Michelle teach this Friday! She had a a great 80s rock playlist and 5am was high energy! Michelle was great at helping me consider modifications to my box jump ups. She always has a solution to help us get a safe, comfortable, workout in! She is a gift to the coaching team!

Brian was very good at today’s 5am class. I enjoyed how he breaks up the warm-up and explains everything so thoroughly. He cares for the safety of the athletes and is always giving me and others constructive feedback so we can improve our form. He is very encouraging and helpful!

I loved class tonight. First time participating in the cross-fit open as a registered athlete. I am a 56 year old woman who just came to workout. Coach Mary kept score for me and was so positive and encouraging. It was like having a beautiful Angel just looking out for me. I could just concentrate on my form and Mary took care of all the details. I felt relaxed and just had fun! CrossFit has changed my life and this community is supportive, welcoming and super fun! Brian was welcoming and full of joy because the sunshine was here at 4:15pm Monday class. I like how Brian worked with me to accommodate my workout because of bicep tendinitis. He knows I am an intense athlete and I appreciate him so much for helping me still achieve a great workout despite my current setback. He broke the warmup into small sections which I found helpful! I also learned how to do air squats correctly and incorrectly. He is the owner and loves challenging his clients but also meeting them where they are at. This is the right place to kick start your exercise journey! No judgement, great community, fun place to workout!

Coach Edmund greeted me with smiles and energy. I explained that I still have a shoulder injury and he was very helpful with modifications so I could still get in a good workout and not aggravate my injury. Edmund plays the best music to workout. Edmund is positive, encouraging and very supportive with all the athletes. He will challenge you if you’re up for it but will never pressure you! You will enjoy Edmund as your coach!

Tara was very friendly and very clear with instructions. Me, my son, and daughter are new to CrossFit and her great attitude and big smile really set us at ease. Tara continuously made rounds and checked on us to make sure our form was correct. Update: Coach Ildar is one of the most approachable and friendly coaches I’ve met. He’s always the first to say hi and makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk in. His positive energy sets the tone for the whole class.

He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining lifts and movements, often offering unique cues or examples that really help you understand what to do and how to do it safely. I love that he takes the time to work with each person one-on-one, making sure we’re performing movements correctly and getting full range of motion. Anytime I’m unsure about my form, he’s right there to help me work through it until I feel confident.

Before each WOD, he makes sure everyone is ready and comfortable, and after the workout, he always takes a moment to give you a fist bump and a few words of encouragement. It’s such a small gesture, but it makes a big difference, especially for someone newer or still building confidence with the lifts.

Coach Ildar’s attention to detail, positivity, and genuine care for his athletes make every class a great experience.

Update:I recently returned to the gym after two weeks away due to a medical procedure, and I wanted to share how supported I felt not only by Coach Michael, but by the entire gym community. Coach Mary had communicated my situation ahead of time with care and discretion, which I really appreciated. Thanks to her, Coach Michael was already aware before class began and made a point to check in with me right away. Before the workout even began, he approached me with reassurance and let me know we could scale the workout to whatever I felt comfortable with. He didn’t make a big deal about the situation but checked in with me throughout the warm-up and WOD, helping me ease back in without pressure while still getting a solid workout.

I regularly attend Coach Michael’s classes, and he consistently brings a high level of professionalism and support to every session. He breaks down lifts and movements in a way that’s easy to understand for all experience levels, and he’s always quick to provide helpful corrections to ensure movements are performed safely. His coaching style is encouraging and never condescending you feel seen and supported, not singled out.

Coach Michael is incredibly knowledgeable and does a great job making sure everyone’s needs are met, whether that means scaling workouts or offering form tweaks. I truly appreciate his attention to detail and care for each athlete in the class. Highly recommend!

On top of that, the overall gym community has been so encouraging and welcoming — it’s a space where you truly feel cared for and supported.

Update: I was really excited to take the Barbell Foundations class to build a better understanding of the lifts, and Mary exceeded my expectations as a coach. She broke each movement down into clear, manageable steps that made everything click. She gave me helpful feedback on my form, encouraged me when things went well, and made sure I felt confident and safe. We repeated key movements to really lock them in, and she took the time to explain how to lift properly to avoid injury. I left the class feeling more prepared and more excited than ever to jump into regular CrossFit classes. I can’t wait to have Mary as a coach in my next class!

CrossFit SWARM overall is a great environment to be in. There are people at all levels everyone is very friendly. The gym is super clean and tidy. Coach Alyssa was super supportive and made sure I was doing the squats properly as well as making sure I had alternatives as needed. She was great at supporting me and my postpartum body as we jump into a new type of fitness.

All the nutrition coaches are so positive, knowledgeable and willing to help me make small sustainable changes to impact my overall health. They just don’t focus on weight, as that number definitely never tells the whole story. They use an InBody scan and measurements to check progress. I most certainly recommend!

I have never stuck with a fitness habit for so long! I have been a member since January 2019. The friendly and encouraging people allow any level of fitness type enjoy a workout and feel like an athlete. I am a very curvy woman with multiple health issues and this workout has really helped me maintain my mobility. The coaches help me scale every movement to one that my body can handle without injuring it. Plus, when you are there, you are family. I highly recommend! Mary and Brian are an amazing team. Michelle e was my next coach. Michelle is so great at finding the right modifications and really making sure I have the right form. So encouraging and I know she is always watching out for me and will be there to modify along the way if I need it as well! 💗

Edmund is another coach I have had. He helped with modifications, but stretched my workouts to higher weights than I ever would have picked for myself.., and I did it! 🫨 Again, another encouraging coach! 💗

Brian is the last coach I was introduced to. Again, so supportive and encouraging. Knows how to modify for me and takes time to go through the form with me. 💗

As someone who collects injuries like baseball cards, I was hesitant to try CrossFit given the reputation. After reading on the website that Swarm focuses on safety and the BEx program I figured I’d give it a shot. During orientation, Coach Stacey’s super extroverted personality and candid explanation of the process won me over. Three weeks later and I’m sold. The coaches, the programming, the facility, the tech, and the people all come together to make an incredible experience. I’ve already seen some progress and I’m looking forward to all of the fitness, friendships, and healthy living to come.

Update: 6 month anniversary coming up in 2 days and it's only gotten better. This is easily the longest I've ever consistently stuck with a workout program and I've seen great results. Here's to the next 6 months of progress.

Wifey and I dropped in while on vacation, and had a great experience. The box is setup well and allows for a lot of space for each athlete. Coach Brian took good care of us and made us feel very welcome. I liked the multiple monitors showing the info we needed. Also liked that kids are welcome as we drag ours along quite often. The programming seemed great and we even performed a movement we’d never done before in our local box. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in town!

First week has been amazing so far. Prior to me signing up, I was under the impression that you had to be in good shape, conditioned, and have good stamina to join crossfit,However that is not the case. Anyone can start as long as they have the commitment and drive. Coaches are super supportive, encouraging, motivating and know you by your name. Members of CrossFit swarm community is also very welcoming and encouraging. One thing that really surprised me is that my endurance is higher and I never knew I could push myself to higher lever in a group exercise where other members are encouraging you to push little harder... overall I love it and can't wait till the next class !

I joined CrossFit Swarm in Jan 2019, at that time I was looking to do something different then the regular gym. I started with their BX programming, and then a month later, decided to switch to the CrossFit programming. One of the best decisions I ever made for myself. There are not enough stars in the world to describe my experiences here. I randomly just showed up one morning after my gym closed all the sudden. I knew nothing about it except where it was. I started immediately and have been going consistently ever since. I also started working with Mary doing nutrition and my life has changed.

My life has changed because of these coaches, these people I consider family, the classes. There is just something about doing really hard, fun, stuff with a group of people who are all there for similar reasons. It does not matter your age, size, athletic ability, health issues, injuries (and believe me I have had a few of them). They will work with you to give options on things you can do safely and successfully. What this place has given me is something more than can be explained in words. It brought me back to myself. I look forward to going to class everyday and seeing all my pals. Every single coach, just has something extra special about them. And they exude care, knowledge, experience, professionalism, and a whole lot of humor. My health has skyrocketed in so many ways, but more so my confidence. There is nothing like it, being surrounded by people who champion for your success. It’s a beautiful thing.

I would encourage anyone, even just thinking checking it… do it. Take the first step. It can be scary. But I promise you, once you meet Mary & Brian and see the community they have created… you will be so happy you did. It is, hands down, the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I took the plunge and decided to at least learn more. What I thought was something to "just get me by" ended up being so much more than that!
