The gym has plenty of equipment, but when it comes to canceling your membership good luck. I went in person to cancel mine. The staff member who assisted me said he would email his boss to process the cancellation because the system was having issues. However, I had to return in person again to complete the cancellation. Fortunately, the vice president of the company was there and was able to finalize it. These things feels like a scam.

This place is a scam. I went there to get a month pass to crunch and the lady signed me up for a year without me knowing. I didn't realize til later when I was charged $300. I would like to receive a refund because I called them plenty of times and on different days, trying to cancel my account no one picked up the phone. The automatic voice system kept saying “I’m first in line” but over 20 minutes have passed for each call and no avail. I also received a huge bill from them, the “yearly bill” when I told them I already paid for it. Don’t go here very unprofessional. Although, this one guy, Dominican and tall is very nice. Then, they continue charging me for extra clases. I told the front desk to cancelled my subscription but they did not help me out. Crunch Fitness - Lynn has a clean, "stop, drop 'n roll" vibe. I WAS sharing my every second day routine between this here, the Lynn location, and the Malden Crunch, both being comfortable and convenient to public transportation for me.
Editting now, actually, the Malden site has become less appealing, and Lynn is truly the bomb, a few days per week while I'm living here temporarily. I do like the open concept design. Crunch Fitness Lynn is very accessible from the 5am opening hours, enough strength and cardio equipment to not have to wait around for turns.
I feel welcome by staff and the clientele attracted here. Inclusive atmosphere is most appreciated being as I'm older than your target market.

If I could give this gym zero stars, I would. They completely screwed me over on my membership! I signed up with clear terms, yet they hit me with hidden fees and charged me for months AFTER I canceled. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, and when I tried to resolve the issue, they just gave me the runaround.

The offer to clear all this mess up was made in front of the lynn policemen that were called on me! I’ll update if that happens!‼️I joined March 21st 2024 for a dollar! I quit before April 21st 2024! Told the youngman who signed me up that I quit asked if we were good and he said yes! The place is ok. I wish they had more circuit equipment. It's hit or miss. However, I injured myself this past year and have been unable to go work out for almost a year. I've tried for 2 Weeks to cancel my membership and have not been able to. I call and when I'm finally first in line I still wait in hold and then get hung up on. That is the MAIN ISSUE with almost EVERY gym today. I've experienced it with other gyms.
So that's why I ended up going with a base membership here. No contract.
They have a base membership with a contract too, but they tell you ahead of time "no canceling". So if you do cancel, that's on you...
I LOVE this gym
I went in & spoke to Billy(assistant manager I believe not sure)& he was very helpful. He showed me the facilities, I tried it out, & loved it!!! I think the other guy who helped me name was A.J., both very helpful & personable.
They have EVERYTHING you could be looking for as far as working out. Whether it be weightlifting free weights or machines, to cardio, heavy bags, & even Olympic lifting platforms.
Definitely recommend this gym if you're looking for a great workout, & something convenient!

But it was a perfect experience: tour, free hydromassage for 10 mins, free hour of personal training, and how to use the subway in Boston, lol. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The customer service here is incredibly terrible! I can’t even explain how frustrating it is to get anything done. There is no structure or system in place to manage customer concerns and because of that the customer suffers. I’ve never experienced anything like this before at a fitness center. I am still trying to get in contact with Louis Ortiz that they refuse to put me in contact with.
Something has got to change because if people come here to relieve stress and are met with more…. What are you really providing here? Besides…. Most of the machines are broken half the time anyway. I’ve been trying to cancel my membership since April when I had a zero balance. They didn’t cancel it and now they want me to pay the fees for it not being canceled as it has accrued from when I first tried to in April. Stay away from this gym if you can. You're better off taking the drive to a different crunch location where as a customer you will be treated with respect. The customer service here at the Lynn location is horrible. During the month of March 2023 I called on numerous occasions to get an issue with my gym membership resolved, It didn’t fail that each time I called I would have to wait 45 minutes to over an hour for someone to pick up, two out of the many times I tried calling I would be connected with an employee that would have absolutely no knowledge to what I was talking about regarding the issues I was having with my gym membership account.waited over an hour for an employee to sigh and respond with them saying they had no idea what I was talking about and couldn’t help and hang up within a minute. When asked if any managers were available, both times when I was lucky enough to get through and speak to someone, no manager was available.i went on the crunch fitness website and noticed an email address to contact the manager so I decided to that then waste my time sitting on a phone for over an hour. This wasn’t any better whatsoever, I reached out via email and two days later still did not receive a response so decided to reach out again and then I was lucky enough to get a response which the manager Luis mentioned he would be able to help. Didn’t hear back for another 5 days until I reached out trying to follow through up with our last email. He called me and mentioned that he would be in contact with his VP and would get back to me right away. Two days went by and did not hear back so I reached out with another follow up, at this point I feel like I’m being a bother for reaching out and asking for help. 10 days go by and no response and reached out informing Luis that I have been reaching out to him and he has yet to return my phone call or respond to any of my emails. Last attempt was one 3/27 and til today has yet responded. Never experienced anything so unprofessional like this, especially dealing with management. Luis lacks leadership and costumer service skills and he’s the reason why along with the Lynn location itself I will no longer be going there.

One start is too much for this gym. Today the supervisor of the Lynn location was very rude when I ask to speak with someone in a higher position about my situation. And with no empathy after saying I can’t pay all that for canceling he then started to tell me to pay attention to what I’m explaining (at the computer) and that he shouldn’t have to tell me how to cancel the membership online for free. He said I’m the supervisor and I’m going to try to get the most money out of people. All of this being very rude and another young employee listening. As I left he shouted “ you’re welcome. This is the 3rd time where I've gotten here at 5am and it was not open. Today is another. And whole lot of cars waiting 30 mins plus. This is disappointing and frustrating because a lot of us trying to stay under a schedule.

The staff including the trainers and HIIT instructors are wonderful. Always a pleasure to see. Wouldn't say the same for the people who train there. There are folx who wipe and return the equipment but then there are ones who leave the mats, plates, ployboxes, etc. all over the place. You can RDLs and hip thrusts but can't put away plates and dumbbells? To conclude, for anyone is looking at Crunch Lynn, gym is sort of like a free for all. What you get for a commercial gym. No respect for the staff and others who go there.

thanks crunch fitness for keeping lynn's people in mind. But also this gym, the price and the closeness to me is perfect and judging the price I pay for my membership I know that the service in this gym could be somewhat mediocre. Well what I imagined was reality. the hygiene this lousy place, also the workers are lousy some lack common sense.

I don't live in Lynn, but I comes to the Zuma classes faithfully. My co-worker told me about so I joined. I love the atmosphere. The place clean, the equipment are out of this world 🌎. The Zuma instructors are awesome 👌. I only hope winter season be good to me so I can travel from Salem to the group classes. I also used the equipment already. It's a very busy place. I love.

I've been going to Crunch for the last couple months, both on my own and with a trainer. I'm older and work from home and I've lost a lot of muscle mass and strength in the last few years. I know I have barely touched Step One in my wellness journey, but WOW this place is terrific.
First, it's clean. Like crazy clean. Staff and guests alike are diligent at keeping this place clean. Mad respect.
Second, the staff.....crushes it. Always super friendly and quick to start conversaqtion during your down time. It seems like everyone is happy working there, and that is not common, sadly.
A HUGE special shout-out to my trainer, Alexis. She is supportive and engaging, always pushing me to go "just a little more" but respectful of whatever my current limitations are. She rules.
There are a variety of plans and options that should fit into most peoples' budgets.
Do yourself a favor and try this gym.

For 11 dollars, this is by far better than any commercial gym.. They have everything you need.. If you have a Crunch Fitness in your area, make sure you go there..

( i like the people at the lynn location so i will leave this review up, shout-out to nick and greg, but Crunch the company is a total scam. extremely predatory. avoid getting a membership at all costs. they hit me with as many bs charges as they could come up) great facility, good atmosphere, and super nice staff. One staff member Greg even kept the gym open for my buddy and I just after closing so we could finish up our last sets. Thanks again, Greg!

Just became a member love that its close to my home so i can workout before working but I would like to see more cleaning of the machines. Unfortunately, since i started going here i haven't seen the machines getting a deep clean everyday i see the same spot of dust or some dried liquid on every machine. Clean more specially with covid have more employees on so the cleaning can be done.

cancelled my membership in April, was told it was cancelled. My membership fee was withdrawn from my account May 1st. I have been calling for 24 days requesting a refund. Was told only the manager can submit a refund. left my phone number and no one has called me, when I called back the manager sent a message. No decency to pick up the phone and speak to me. I am still trying to get my refund.

they didn't solve my problem, I received wrong information and the employees didn't try to solve my problem, I canceled through the website and called to make sure it was canceled and the attendant said YES, I went to the unit to talk to the manager about my refund and he told me it had not been canceled.
if I had not traveled to the unit I would never have known it was not canceled and they would charge me again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
