Becareful they won't let you cancel if you sign up for personal training and don't even take the free trial they almost force you to sign up for more. I wish I never came to this gym. It's almost predatory how they go about forcing the personal trainers on you.

Went to cancel in person after being misinformed over the phone. Got there in person and they said that I can download the app and cancel myself. These people will sign you up for whatever but have no clue how to actually help. What a waste. Go somewhere more professional.

Amazing is all I have to say about this place. The staff is absolutely the most friendly attentive always asking me by name how my day is going how my workout went. I feel like they know so much about my journey because they always ask. The training program amazing love it. Malcolm literally has made a complete and utter difference in my life. He has pushed me hard to achieve my goals and I have. All in all this gym has literally changed my life, and I can’t thank them enough for their generosity kindness they’re caring. 10/10 customer service, from management, to the trainers, associates, etc! There’s a lot of gyms you can go to in Worcester, but this one in particular is a place where you will create good experiences, friendships, and encouragement from employees and people as well too. If you take care of the gym and it’s equipment, they will take care of you. Sometimes can get busy depending on what time you go but other than that I highly recommend you check out this gym, test it out and you will no doubt consider making it your spot to train and become the best version of yourself!!!

Prepare yourself for an otherworldly experience at Crunch Fitness – a place where sanity takes a vacation and surrealism reigns supreme. Upon entering, I was greeted by an onslaught of garish blue hues that made me question if I had stumbled into a psychedelic sequence straight out of a Salvador Dali painting.

The facility was chock-full of inexplicable tributes to various ice cream toppings and types of cereal, a la avant-garde. Picture this: 6’00” tall sculptures of polymorphic pieces of Cinnamon Toast Crunch – each adorned with glistening chains and puke-orange sunglasses, chandeliers constructed from crumbled-up Crunch Candy Bar wrappers dangling overhead, and walls plastered with oversized portraits of perplexed humans, all of them dressed in a manner reminiscent of the late Captain Crunch. It was a tribute to the absurdity of exercise, leaving me wondering if I had unwittingly stepped into a twisted, surreal dream.

As for the equipment, it seemed like the owner had taken inspiration from a whimsical fantasy rather than fitness expertise. The only available machine was one that defied logic – a towering structure resembling a giant bowl of Crunch Berries that, when pushed over, spilled thousands of colorful Styrofoam balls on all of the other gym-goers. It was as baffling to use, as it was to behold.

The staff seemed to blend in seamlessly with the eccentric ambiance, dressed in black from the neck down with large bowties and handlebar mustaches, their demeanor mirroring that of the man whose face is present on the Pringles can. They went about their tasks as if participating in an avant-garde performance art piece rather than providing any sort of service or assistance to others.

In conclusion, Crunch Fitness is an enigmatic world where reality and eccentricity collide. If you seek an experience that challenges your perception of normalcy and embraces the outlandish, then by all means, sign your soul away to this preposterous organization. But for those seeking a conventional exercise facility, prepare for a journey beyond the realms of modern convention.

I am very disappointed about the personal trainer program. They kept on charging my account for 4 months for after I stop the session for me and my wife for personal training. When we contacted the location on Millbrook st we're we enrolled they would tell me that the managers are in a meeting someone would call us just to delay things more. Until I caled today August 8, 2025 someone with zero customer service skills answer the phone , was very rude refusing to let me talk to a manager, would not disclose her name and hang up the phone on me. Seriously after deliberately charging my account without my approval for PT session I did not sign up for and telling that, they will not refund my money back. I worked for every penny, not scamming folks for profit. YOU WILL REFUND MY MONEY BACK TO MY ACCOUNT. DON'T SIGN UP FOR PERSONAL TRAINING @CRUNCH AND LEAVE YOUR CARD ON FILE WITH THEM. I’ve been trying for weeks to cancel my membership by phone, with no success. After being ignored multiple times, I finally got someone on the phone — but only after submitting an online cancellation form that was intentionally difficult to find.

I explained that I had recently been charged the annual membership fee, despite making several attempts to cancel beforehand. I also mentioned that I haven’t used the gym since February and would be traveling, so continuing the membership made no sense. I politely asked if a refund was possible.

Instead of offering any help or speaking respectfully, the staff member immediately became aggressive and condescending. He talked to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful tone, told me he would hang up, and flat-out refused to let me speak to anyone else. When I asked for a manager, he refused. When I asked for his name, he said, “I will not provide you with my name,” accused me of being rude and “speaking over him” — then hung up on me.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The issue isn’t just that he wasn’t willing to refund the charge — it was the condescending, aggressive, and outright disrespectful way he handled the entire conversation.

The lack of accountability, refusal to provide a name, and blatant disrespect for a paying customer is outrageous. I strongly urge anyone considering this gym to think twice. No one deserves to be treated this way.

Go to any other gym in Massachusetts! The facilities smell, are perpetually understocked, unclean with dust and spiderwebs everywhere. The swipe to get in before staff arrives only works about half the time leaving members stranded outside, and due to the tiny parking lot’s overcrowding some people have to park in neighborhooring lots just to get there. They will also run you in circles if you try to cancel your already crappy membership. Keep a record of who you talk to and when because they will claim your account is closed, charge you again, gaslight you, and then try to charge you an additional fee monthly for not paying for a membership you canceled. The absolute worst experience, rudest staff, and cheapest gym!

I have been a member of this gym for 30 years. I have been here before it was a Crunch, so I have seen different gyms and new workers as time has passed. Crunch Fitness with staff like Kevin and Katie, have made this Crunch Fitness my best experience.
I started lifting weights in my early 20’s. At that time I had no idea of the positive influence of weight bearing exercises would have on me not only physically but mentally too. As I got stronger my athlete goals transformed. In my 50’s I was able to finish 5 marathons and one half marathon. Today I still consider myself to be a fit, and still call Crunch Fitness my home. Each day I am excited to come back!

Today we were charged $101 for our membership, it is the 3rd month we have been going, however the subscription we have is for $30. We also attempted to cancel one month ago but the subscription is still active for some reason. When trying to contact someone both over the phone and in person no one was in the building and the phone line was shut off. This is terrible customer service and unacceptable to be charged an unreasonable amount that was not agreed upon.

I had a disappointing experience at Crunch Fitness in Worcester today. They charged us $69.99 this week on Jan 23 for the yearly membership and $17 on Jan 24 for the monthly fee for my son who is away in college and hasn't been using the gym since early summer of last year. Despite my son previously paying $10, they insisted on the higher charge after his contract ended. I requested a refund and cancellation due to him being away at college, suggesting we renew in May when he is back. Unfortunately, they declined, citing their 30-day notice policy. This lack of flexibility and understanding for loyal customers is disheartening. My husband was a past customer as well, and I had planned to sign up myself this week with a group of friends, but my experience has made me skeptical. Even after attending classes with Amy on Tuesday and requesting information, the customer service was unhelpful. I planned to go again today for the Zumba class with Amy and possibly sign up for the $30/month plan with my friends, but canceled it after the unpleasant discussion with the front desk guy and his manager. Considering other options for my family and myself due to these issues.

The staff at this place is like the island of misfit toys on a power trip. They rule over their fruitless little kingdom from atop the throne, which is the soft computer armchair behind the front desk as you walk in the lobby. The staff has been exceptional, any issues I've had in the past were swiftly resolved with a phone call. The variety of equipment is adequate for most; bodybuilders, powerlifters, even martial art equipment. Tanning is another benefit. Downsides are the initial joining fee, which feels like a business tactic when they advertise low monthly cost. The other problem is how busy this location gets, the entire parking lot and the whole block fills with cars on a regular basis, during these times it can be hard to even find alternative routines to plans.

I really enjoy this gym. They have a wide variety of machines and weights. They have a great turf area which is nice for core/stretching. It does get very busy, and typically gets busy with people who know what they are doing/are very fit. This could be motivating for some, but could also see how it could be intimidating. It’s my home gym, staff is nice and the schedules are more than good… also the vibe is great , I definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
Only concerns, there is only one full bathroom and showers are curtainless..

The Gym was very well put together and more than enough room for everyone. The only issue is it can get busy at some points of the day but that is to be expected at any gym. Great experience overall!

Great gym to be at, the community, the equipment, the cleanliness, and most of all the personal trainers are five star. The service provided here is very hospitable and they really do take care of you. 5/5 recommend working with their personal trainers, achieving my fitness goals has never been easier.
