I had been going to a boxing/cardio gym consistently for several months. When I came to CrushItFit, I thought I was in pretty good shape - within 10 minutes I realized I was NOT! Doug combines a very rigorous cardio schedule with weight training. The classes are nonstop movement for 30 minutes and Doug is sharing his expert guidance throughout. I've been taking classes for less than a month, and wish I started years ago. I just love it! The thirty minute classes are so easy to fit into my schedule. And Doug keeps things interesting by rotating us through loads of exercises each class. No chance of getting bored and I feel great afterwards.

I have been a member of CrushItFit for a few months and am very happy with my experience so far! I was looking to switch up my workouts by adding more weight into my routine. I stumbled across CrushItFit's website and really loved the idea of a class focused on women and women's strengths and body composition. I have already noticed a difference in my physical body, as well as my mental state! I never thought I would be waking up at 5am to head to the gym, but I am extremely happy that I have landed here! After an injury that put me on crutches for a couple months, I started at Crush It Fit to focus on strength, before trying to get back into running again. Doug's workouts in the classes have me feeling stronger than before and am back to running. However, now I look forward to the strength work, just as much the running, with the never ending variety in the classes.

I joined Crush It a year and a half ago and that is a testament to how easy Doug makes you want to commit. I've never been this consistent or made it this long at any other gym. At Crush It, I can just walk into any class and immediately get to work. To be clear, the workouts are never (ever) easy but Doug always keeps it fresh and different and doesn't waste a second. The 30-minute classes are effective and it's great knowing with certainty that I will always leave a class covered in sweat and satisfied with my workout. Also, I can finally (finally!) do proper, legit push-ups. Oh, and punching stuff is really fun.

Joined the boxing gym about 6 months ago and have really enjoyed the group workouts and supportive environment. It has been great cross-training to support my triathlon training. In fact, I recently competed in a sprint triathlon and had my best time overall and in the swim portion specifically, which I attribute to the weight lifting and boxing training at Crush It Fit. Doug keeps good tabs on all of us and is super helpful in rehabilitating and preventing injuries.

Can’t say enough about this workout! I have tried multiple workouts - spinning, heart rate zone training and cross fit. I could not lose weight. In six weeks at Crushit, following Doug’s nutrition recommendations, I’ve lost 12 lbs and I am building lean muscle. My only regret is not trying it sooner!

When I say I made many attempts I mean MANY attempts…… I tried intermittent fasting, cutting carbs, cutting calories, and multiple other diets and types of workouts. I even worked with a personal trainer for a year…. I just could not get any results. Literally, nothing. I wasn’t looking to lose a ton of weight but I wasn’t losing any. I wasn’t getting more toned either. I actually found I was gaining weight. I was so discouraged. I was ready to give up and accept this was just what it was for me as I approach 50. I honestly thought this would never work either. But it did. In less than 3 months I actually dropped 8 pounds and went down from 31.2 % body fat to 24.2 % body fat. The numbers weren’t even important to me. But now I actually look leaner and more toned than I have in years. Even more important for me is how I feel. I feel stronger and I feel better about myself. I definitely worked hard to get there. Doug helped keep me motivated and keep me on track every day. He helped me with my diet and to find foods that were not just healthier choices but also worked for me and my lifestyle. I wasn’t starving myself anymore. And best of all I actually got results!!!! THIS WORKS!!!! If you are thinking about it, do it! Worth every penny!
