Deep End Fitness is truly a gem! When my son joined during his DEP for the Navy, I had no idea how transformative this experience would be for him. Not only did he improve his swimming skills, but he also gained a tremendous amount of confidence and mental strength. The supportive environment fostered a sense of camaraderie that felt like an extended family. Everyone there is genuinely invested in each other's success, creating a team spirit that is both uplifting and motivating. It’s heartwarming to see how he has overcome his uncertainties and grown into a more resilient individual. I can't recommend Deep End Fitness enough for anyone looking to not just swim, but to thrive!

The IG algorithm led me to Deep End Fitness Boston, which has been an absolute game changer in my knee rehabilitation. 2+ years ago I was highly active and participating in many endurance sports when I suffered an ACL/MCL rupture in my right need. The ACL reconstruction surgery was performed incorrectly which altered my knee mechanics. In addition, I developed a condition called Arthrofibrosis which is an exaggerated immune response to injury resulting in knee stiffness and additional scar tissue build up which severely impacted my knee range of motion. I was constantly battling keeping that inflammatory response under control. The inflammatory response was triggered quite easily and I spent so much time trying to keep that under control to prevent my knee from continuously freezing up and more scar tissue clean up surgeries. Enter Deep End Fitness last December, which was the first activity I could do where I did not have to hold back because I did not experience the same cycle of post exercise inflammation and fluid build up. After 7 months of fairly regular attendance I am walking normally, beginning to relearn how to run, improving on my squat. I am so grateful I stumbled upon this class. It is worth the drive from RI to Boston Sunday mornings, and is my favorite activity each week.

One day, while swimming laps, I saw a woman a lane over walking back and forth along the bottom of the pool with dumbbells. Some inquiries led to me to trying a class with that woman, Nathalie, as the lead instructor. The sessions are great. Nathalie and Angelo know what they are doing and are welcoming. They work with people where they are and allow them to develop the comfort and competence to progress into the more advanced aspects of the sessions. The sessions are unlike any other I've taken and are as beneficial for my mind as they are for my cardio-respiratory system. The classes include guys who are preparing to start SEAL training and folks who play underwater hockey. I'm fit, but days away from turning 70, so not the fittest I've been. I am certain, though, that I'm getting fitter in important ways because of Deep Water Fitness.

As someone preparing for BUD/S, I sought a facility to enhance my aquatic skills and elevate my training. Upon reaching out to Deep End Fitness Boston, I was assured of their expertise in this area. From day one, I was warmly welcomed, and within just three sessions, I noticed significant improvements in my swim technique, breath-holding capacity, underwater comfort, and more.

The 75-minute classes are comprehensive, combining rigorous pool exercises with CrossFit-style land workouts. We engage in activities such as 25-50m underwater swims, bobbing, goggle retrieval, breath-holding drills, dead man’s float, underwater flips, push-ups, burpees, weightlifting, and more. This hybrid approach ensures a well-rounded fitness regimen that i have not experienced anywhere else before.

Instructors Angelo and Nathalie bring extensive CrossFit backgrounds and are both lifeguard certified, ensuring safety and professionalism throughout the sessions. Their dedication to incorporating challenging workouts between pool evolutions has been instrumental in my preparation for BUD/S.

I attribute much of my training success to the classes and instruction at Deep End Fitness Boston. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to build water confidence or pursue a path that demands aquatic proficiency, whether that be military or otherwise.

Dropped into the soft launch for the Boston location and in short, I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Nathalie and Angelo really took the time to make my boyfriend and myself feel welcome. They did an excellent job making sure we warmed up adequately as well as made sure that safety was a priority. As a relative newbie in the water, I learned so much about this realm of fitness but even more so myself and what I’m capable of. Also, really just fun to try something different and fun. Felt out of my element but in the best possible way. Thanks Deep End, we’ll be back for more soon!
