I have been exercising for over 40 years at both gyms and solo. The Elite Training Group is truly a 5 star service training group. Stew is a consummate professional who has years of experience and knowledge. Whether you are in your 50s or much younger, the trainers know to keep you strong and fit!

I love the Elite training group! I’ve been working with Danny for around 4 yrs but know most if not all the trainers. Each session is very individualized and we mix and match different exercises across muscle groups so it always feels like it’s something new. Great music mix and it’s always fun!

I highly recommend ETG and their trainers. When I started working out there 2.5 years ago, I was brand new to strength training. So very nervous about not knowing what to do/not wanting to hurt myself and trying (and likely failing) at something new in front of a gym full of people. ETG was the perfect place for me. Kyle is a super knowledgeable trainer who develops personalized programming, adjusts on the fly when something is too much for me, and pushes me safely to do more than I ever thought I could do. And the entire ETG gym is a supportive, small, and non-judgmental environment where I never have to fight for space, attention, or equipment from any of the trainers. Would recommend to anyone looking to start (or continue) strength training.

I’ve been training with Kyle at ETG for several months now. My experience has been first class. Kyle is friendly, courteous, communicative, and certainly an expert at his craft. He’s willing to challenge me as much as I’m willing to be challenged, and not more. He has the range to train elite athletes, former athletes (like myself), and beginners.

I would highly recommend ETG to anyone who’s looking for a great trainer or general workout experience

Love these guys, especially Stew! Always motivating no matter what mood I’m in and tailors the workout if needed. He is very flexible in working with schedules and so knowledgeable. I spend 6+ month a year in Florida and switch to virtual workouts when I’m there. Same level of intensity, coaching and motivation whether in person or virtual!

My original 5 stars on Google reviews was 2 years ago which is when I started working out with Stew and Kris. A little over 2 years later, happy to report that I have been doing personal training sessions with them every week for all this time. It's that good. The space is great, sessions are truly tailored to each individual. I can see how all trainers work with others as I am having my session, they're all modeled with particular needs of that individual in mind. I've never looked and felt better ever since I entered my 40s. Highly recommend!

Best gym in Boston! I started working out at ETG after a 5 year lifting hiatus post college. They came recommended by a friend and have been phenomenal. Kyle and team are world class at helping craft individual plans to reach your goals. I have been able to continue to make healthy strength gains with no injuries. I’ve known and trained with Kris and Stew for years, even before they opened their top-notch studio. Both are fantastic trainers who motivate and design training sessions that make every minute count. The equipment in their studio is modern and unlike other studios and gyms, you don’t have to wait for equipment or deal with crowds.

To Jessica
Regarding your entirely unfair smearing of this incredible business , ETG. I was ‘that guy’ who you have smeared along with the wonderful team at ETG. As you do admit, you took up 3 parking spaces. As a south end neighbor who was simply trying to help you help the south end community where parking is scarce, I literally said, “ hello, can I ask you a favor on behalf of the south end community? If you can move your car so that the bumper is behind the meter, rather than in the middle of the 2 meters, you’ll help create more parking for all. Thanks so much!” With a huge smile. How you could then smear me as anything but a sweet neighbor, helping out our neighbors here, is beyond my ability to believe. Also, why smear the innocent gentlemen of ETG, simply because I was on my way into their business? If I had walked in to the pizza place, would you have smeared them? If I had walked into the banner shop, would you have smeared them? Clearly you were embarrassed that you took 3 parking spaces. I feel bad for you. However rather than apologize, you have redirected your embarrassment into a venomous screed against a small local business who is in truth, the polar opposite of what you have erroneously imagined. All of the professional women & men at ETG are of the highest moral caliber and always put the neighborhood first. To be entirely fair, you need to apologize to ETG , take down your entirely unfair mean spirited 1 star ‘review’ and apologize to the south end community who you have also entirely unfairly demonized. I’d add that you should add into your apology to the south end community, your taking 3 parking spaces and you need to apologize to me.

Tatiana and the team at ETG are fantastic! They have built a welcoming and supportive community, and I feel lucky to have found them after trying other gyms in the area.

I’ve been training with Tatiana for almost a year and really appreciate the customized workouts. With progressive overload, you can feel the progress in every session. And the other trainers and members of ETG are there to cheer you on - just a great atmosphere all around.

I’ve been training at ETG since 2021! Tatiana is not only the most amazing trainer ever, but now also a great friend! I no longer live in the South End, but I still feel it is 100% worth coming back here to train (I even convinced my fiancé to start training here too). This is honestly the best gym I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to (and having lived all across the country, I’ve been to my fair share!) I’ve been working with Kyle and he is always willing to customize the workout to ensure I’m getting the best exercise needed for my training objectives. He is super knowledgeable and always able to provide multiple iterations of the same exercise so that I’m able to get the best experience for me. My husband now goes here too and works with Stew and absolutely loves it - he’s seen such a great body transformation since he started. The team is always welcoming and inclusive of everyone, the whole staff learns everyone’s name and always taking the time to say hi. It’s such a great family owned small business that I love supporting and I truly couldn’t recommend this gym highly enough!

I’ve been going to ETG twice a week since Jan 2022. The gains in terms of fitness and strength have been amazing - I’m so glad I chose this local, independent gym over the larger, traditional gyms in Back Bay. As much as I value the health benefits, equally (if not more important) is the community feel they have among the trainers and the staff. I look forward to my workouts not just because of the expert guidance and well-programmed workouts, but also just to catch up with my trainer Kyle and the rest of the crew at ETG, who help to make it a fun and motivating experience every session. I started working out with Stew 4+ years ago, and to say that I am a huge fan is an understatement! Stew is a phenomenal instructor and coach. As someone who didn’t have much experience with weightlifting before, I now love it thanks to Stew’s positive energy and personalized approach. My husband and I have been training for 2 years with Kris..He knows so much about the body and what each of us needs to do to improve our flexibility, strength, or balance. When we have body aches, he makes adjustments in our exercises so that we still get a good workout but don’t exacerbate a physical problem. Kris is accommodating, eager to please, and smart. Stew and the team at ETG are amazing. They use modern training techniques to develop a personalized plan to help you reach your fitness goals, and then motivate you to carry it out. One on one sessions in the studio, workouts for the time in between - it’s a comprehensive approach. The studio has every necessary piece of equipment. Was referred to Stew by a friend, and working with him is one of the best decisions I've made! Total professional and great to work with.
