I have been coming here since 09 when I moved to the area and this gym has evolved and has gotten better over time. I noticed positive changes over the years from updating of equipment and subtle cosmetic changes so it never looks old and tired. I really like the variety of equipment, it is spacious so it never feels overcrowded. Staff is very friendly and there is always a positive vibe which makes Encompass very welcoming.

I have been going to Encompass for a few years. This place is great. The staff and trainers are very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The staff and trainers always greet you when you walk in the door! I always get a great workout in. Encompass has a different array of machines depending what you are training for that day. I have been working out at Encompass Fitness for around 2 years now. Sean the owner of the gym has pride in his fitness center and keeps it especially clean.
Many who train at Encompass Fitness know each other and are very nice people but everyone keeps to themselves for the most part. This is perfect for when you are just trying to get a pump.

I stopped going to this gym before Covid because I train at several gyms and this one was the least convenient for me. I continued to pay my membership because a lot of gyms took a financial hit during Covid and I didn't want my gyms to close.

It's been 3 years and I am moving so I called to cancel my membership and spoke to someone named Rachel.

Not only did Rachel make it as difficult as possible for me to cancel, she copped an attitude with me as well like me cancelling was somehow an affront.

So anyways, there are a lot of great gyms in that area and you can easily find one where the owner doesn't condone unprofessional behavior from their underpaid employees.

This is a great town-friendly gym. You will feel comfortable the moment you walk in the door. They have a huge selection to train with. Everything you can think of, but it is pretty jammed in tight. The owner has put a lot of work into renovations and improvements over the last few years.

Great gym I’ve been going there off and on since 2012, a lot has changed since then and all for the better! I’ve been a member at this gym for 15 years. Even when moving out of the area I still kept my membership because I knew I would be back. The owner and staff take great care of the gym and are always so friendly. As cliche as it sounds they greet you like family not just a member. They go out of their way to learn everyone’s name. The new owner is constantly looking for and taking recommendations on how to improve the gym for his members. From new equipment, remodeling the gym floor, remodeling the bathrooms, repaving the parking lot, to even the smaller details like new chairs at the juice bar so customers feel more comfortable sticking around for a while. I should know I’ve spent many hours in those chairs haha. For some, getting to the gym is the hardest part, at Encompass Fitness Marlborough that’s not the case. Leaving is always the hardest part.

I am in love with this gym for 4+ years now, being a teenage girl starting to work out sometime seems hard at time. But with trainers and workers they make you feel comfortable and push you to strive for the best.With great receptionist that make you feel motivated and care for you’re well being. I recently moved to Boston to play hockey and my team works out here at encompass. Although I’ve only been coming for a few months I feel very welcomed here. I come in everyday and I’m greeted at the door and talk to the people working that day. They have a great staff that make sure everyone feels safe and during these times with the virus they are keeping it very clean. They have everything you need to work out whether it’s lifting weights or working on cardio they have it all. I look forward to coming here everyday!

I’ve been a member at this gym for 25 years now. I have had other memberships and done day passes at other gyms when I have had to travel. It is by far the beat gym I have been to. It a great mix of new equipment and had some great things you don’t see at other gyms any more. On a more recent note, the improvement of an already great gym since reopening from Covid, is amazing...well thought out floor plan, some great new equipment, new paint, and the gym is always super clean. The newest owner is very proud of it and it shows in every way, from the staff he hires and all the improvements he continues to make.

I went to this gym last year for a few months, and will be going back again tomorrow. My experience there was totally positive.

The price is good. They have a monthly contract available, unlike many other gyms that use false advertising to upsell longer-term contractual agreements that have you locked in and paying much more than what you would here. Last year I got the monthly contract but tomorrow I'll be signing up for a longer term one because it's cheaper and I know that I like this gym.

The equipment is all good. Plus, they have rowing machines.

The staff is great. They have a radiant and contagious positive vibe.

Ernie is a private trainer at Encompass. I never got to work with him one-on-one but saw him training other members often. His fee was a fair price for a service that can be very expensive at other gyms.

I never attended but I think they have Zumba and other classes as well.

I've been going to Encompass Fitness in Marlborough for about a year now. Great, clean and comfortable gym. Has everything you would ever need - lots of free weights, all kinds of machines, various classes, nice locker room with showers, small bar for shakes and coffee. People including Scott the owner, staff, and some members I got to meet are real friendly. Membership price is competitive. Overall, excellent gym. If you live or work in or around Marlborough MA - I highly recommend it!

I have been on the search for a new gym in my area that can cover all my needs . That being said when we came to encompass the staff was extremely welcoming and gave a a thorough tour of thier establishment. Tgis gym has everything from free weights to cardio machines they have an area for you to strech or yoga also have TRX which ive never tried before but after seeing how they work i cant wait to try it out.. Also the big key factor they actually have a daycare area if you have little ones that is open to members and they allow you 90 mins of freedom to fo your workout worry free while your child plays. In summary excellent cleam facility and amazing kind friendly welcoming staff.

The gym offers flexible memberships such as pay as you go ( electronic fund transaction aka eft from a checking account or credit card ) or you can pay for the entire year up front. There are plenty of staff to help navigate through the sea of terms to help you decide which is right for your budget and wallet. I 💘 this gym because of all the Zumba classes with varying degree of intensity.. It was my favorite gym for 4 years in a row until I discovered Wayside Fitness off of Broadmeadow Road in Marlborough, MA. Wayside offers poolside Zumba, tennis, yoga, boxing + a whole lot more.. Honestly between the two fitness clubs I woulda love to have combined the two to make a Super Gym with 24/7 amenities...Hence the 5 🌟 rating...The other thing to be mindful of is parking..At peak times it can be a tight squeeze getting in & out because the parking lot is shared between many businesses located in the plaza...Be sure to ✔ your 🚗 for dents, scratches and swirl marks.

Big space. Never felt cramped. Not a lot of people at 7am on a Tuesday. Chose this gym while visiting Marlborough because a search of the area showed it to be the only gym in the area with Functional Training equipment (kettlebells, Boxes, TRX Suspension Trainers, Battle Ropes.) Everything looked well used. Only problem was one of their TRX Suspension Trainers didn't have padding on the handles.

My husband and I have been coming to Encompass for the last 6 years and we absolutely love it! The staff is always friendly from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. We have taken many of the variety of classes that Encompass has to offer and have not been disappointed with any of them. All of their classes provide high energy workouts and are available many times throughout the week, making it easy to get into any class. We also love the wide range of equipment that Encompass has to offer. We have looked at other gyms and nothing has come close to the quality level of Encompass.
I would highly recommend Encompass Gym to anyone!
