First XV Performance has been the permanent home of Strength Coach & Personal Trainer Jarrod Dyke for 3 years. The focus is semi-private training. When you come in to train, you will be with no more than 3 other people. Everyone will be working out at the same time and creating a community of strong & knowledgable people! You also get a program designed just for you.
I love to coach because I want to help those that seek help. I want to be the one to help those people so they feel good & feel good about themselves. My goal is to be sure any nagging aches & pains either vanish or are minimized. At the same time, we can find the goals you want to achieve, reach them with a bit of iron therapy, as some may call it & have a laugh along the way

I'm 71 years old and have been working with Jarrod off and on for nearly ten years. He is a gifted performance coach. He takes the time to get to know your aspirations (or, in my case, my litany of bodily complaints!) and how you learn best. He's a strength and conditioning coach which means that he wants to make you flexible and strong. He's fun to work with, adapts to your pace without letting you get away with slouching, and is always encouraging. I was not born to be a gym person but working with Jarrod gives me confidence and enthusiasm!

I have been working with Jarrod for 4 years and I highly highly recommend him! He has been my first introduction to strength training and made the process understandable, achievable & incredibly rewarding, and always super fun. I am incredibly happy with the results. Jarrod has built programs tailored to my goals and has adjusted them as my goals have evolved. I also had my son work with Jarrod as a teenager and the results were also fantastic.

My son and I have been working with Jarrod for almost two years. This is the first strength training I have ever done. Jarrod has made it very convenient, pleasant and rewarding. I have seen real changes in my body and level of fitness. We have weekly programs that are customized to our goals and we are able to make changes in real time if we need to -- Jarrod is very flexible. Finally, the First XV location is top notch!

I have been training with Jarrod on and off (mostly on) for the last decade and I can honestly say no one else compares. Even when I moved across the country he’s been able to support me with my fitness. He has a real talent for programming and really knows his stuff. I’ve never felt better than when I’m actively engaged in one of his programs. Not only that but I learn so much about lifting weights and mobility as I do. Thank you Jarrod for undoubtedly making me a healthier and more mobile person for years and years to come!

I’ve been working out with Jarrod weekly for the past 18 months, and can say he is a truly excellent trainer. Very flexible scheduling, custom workouts to my needs, and a friendly and comforting experience in the gym. I’m especially impressed that whenever my wife or I have a minor injury we’re working through, he always knows an alternative exercise that both accommodates our limitation and still gives us a good workout. I’ve worked out with other coaches before and Jarrod is one I’ve stayed with the longest by far.

Jarrod is very encouraging and pushes me to be better. He takes the time to change my three routines every four weeks, so they never get boring and I am always improving. I feel stronger than I ever have, especially in my arms where I've always had very little strength. He's the best trainer and I'd recommend him to anyone!
