I had a few trainers in the past years prior to meeting her; they were all fine but just not the same level of care. Fit is a wonderful studio on Washington St. in Boston's South End. I love my trainer, Megan Beck - she is so good. She's dedicated to finding ways I can workout, work around my injuries while finding ways to help those challenged areas (back, for ex.) to loosen up, too. I highly recommend working with Megan. Her app helps me to stay on track with the workouts, too.
Also, she's a total athlete, but you don't have to be. If you are, I have no doubt she'll make you a better one, and if you're like me, she'll help you become the best version that you can be.
Stephen Allison is nice, too. I haven't trained with him, but he's always courteous when I see him, which is an important aspect if one is running a business.

Megan - my trainer - gives a ton of thought to structuring my workout in a way that maximizes my hour with her. When I started my body was achy and my feet constantly hurt which I thought just happened after you turn 50. It turns out it doesn’t. The workout that Megan crafted actually got rid of my aches and pains and made my body feel much better on a daily basis. The exercises are very different from what I am used to doing with other trainers.

So much to say about Fit!
First, Steve (the owner) is fantastic. He is friendly and welcoming. He also cares about the goals of the clients who work out there. Here’s one example: my trainer and I were using the landline to do bent over rows. When Steve learned of what we were doing, he purchased a setup with handles to allow greater ease for doing the exercise.
Second, the space is really nice and laid out well. It easily accommodates multiple clients working with trainers. All the equipment you need is there for 1:1 sessions.
Finally, what really makes Fit so special for me is the trainer I’ve been working with for years, Megan Beck. I’ve gained so much knowledge from her - how to exercise safely and effectively, how to make changes in my nutrition for a healthier me, and how to stay motivated even when stressed / tempted to make bad decisions. She sets realistic goals. Her programs are challenging yet doable. She also can think well on the fly if I need to modify something in a given week. Thanks to her, I was able to lose a substantial amount of weight and do things like pull-ups that I never thought I’d be able to do.
In summary, if you’re looking for a great environment to pursue your goals, go to Fit! You’ll feel part of such a supportive community. Thanks Steve, Megan, and the rest of the trainers at Fit who make me enjoy having my workouts there a key part of my weekly routine.

I do personal training with Megan, and she's amazing! When I started, I said I was only going to do it for a few sessions - two years later and I have no intention of stopping. I have knee and back problems that no physical therapist has ever been able to help me much with.
