Best Gym I've ever been to in my life. No exaggeration, full stop. The gym is practically brand new, tons of machines for everything you need. There is also a sauna which I take advantage of every weekend to relax. Not to mention the best part - it is SO CHEAP especially for being close to Boston. If you are in the area there is NO BETTER GYM!

I have been coming to this Fit Factory off and on for the past 5 years. I have moved several times, but when I am back in the area I always come back here. The cost alone and what you get is a major driving factor; it’s truly a gym for everyone. Since this year, they have slowly began upgrading the facility and love what they have done. They enlarged the turf area, repainted the walls, and installed this new light fixture on the turf that just adds some new life into the gym. They have all the weights, platforms, dumbbells one would need to do a casual workout to a powerlifting session. Lastly, the staff are awesome. They are attentive, kind, and most importantly remember your name. Ben and his staff run a great facility that I look forward to everyday after work

This place is a SCAM!!! Do not get a membership here. 6 months after cancelling you will get a letter in the mail saying you owe $100-$200 in overdue payments and late fees. When you try to fight it they will threaten to send to a collections agency. I personally know 3 others that this happened to. Ownership here is a joke.

My own personal church of iron. My life wouldn't be on the course it is without this place. The only time I wasn't a member since 2014 was when I lived on the west coast for 3 years, and I remember the gate agent at the airport recognized me from there the day I made that move. Through good times, terrible times, PR times, and maintaining times...this place is sincerely a home away from home.

I’m not one that typically leaves bad reviews and I’ve enjoyed most of my two years at this gym without issue, until today.

I went in to workout with my bf. We were using the iso-lateral chest press and since he’s recovering from surgery he’s lifting a bit lighter. That means I kept my weights on the machines weight rack until it was my turn to use it. All was fine until a trainer employed by the gym came over and snatched up my weights. I politely told him we were using them, and then he proceeded to lecture me that the weights shouldn’t be there as it’s bad gym etiquette. Not only that he proceeded to still take my weights leaving both me and my bf speechless and without finishing my workout as intended.

I’ve worked out at many gyms across a few states and NEVER had this happen to me. Gym etiquette is to ask the person using the machine/ rack if they are using that particular weight and then accepting whatever answer they give you. Where exactly did he want me to put them? On the floor? Also why did he continue to take my weights after I clearly communicated that we were using them?

I would expect this from a member, but to have this done by staff is just unacceptable. Guess my membership wasn’t as important to him since I wasn’t getting personal training.

On a positive note. While the manager wasn’t in. The front desk staff was super kind and also quite confused and surprised this trainer would do that when I went up to talk to them about it.

My experience at Fit Factory Braintree has been nothing but great. I first started coming to this location when it was a gold's gym pine then Blue hills fitness. Those two gyms were outdated neglected and gross. I decided to rejoin when it turned into Fit Factory and was impressed with the cleanliness and the amount of equipment that would meet my needs. Also most of the gym staff are personable and helpful . Yes, the gym does get crowded from time to time. However, for the area we live in, that's common at the other gyms too. I like how they offer CrossFit, classes and personal training, showers, sauna and steam rooms. I recently won a raffle for a personal training session with Joe Perrone and had a great session. He was patient as well as informative on how I could improve some of the exercises we were going through. Thanks Joe! If there was one thing I'd say that they could improve on is to somehow expand the gym.

RANT WARNING! As for all the other negative reviews about cleanliness and it being crowded they obviously haven't been to the other gyms in around. Also the desk staff have to deal with some outright Karen's who think the "customer is always right" 🤔 One other thing is it's the members who tend to be slobs and leave the place gross! This is the best around for what you pay for so be grateful.

It pains me, but I have to rate and review how I see it. The staff at this gym, while nice and welcoming, are seemingly lazy and unwilling to care for the gym especially the night shift and weekend staff. Just look at the men’s locker room! These were taken on Saturday, 10/18 as soon as the gym opened. I’m sorry, but members shouldn’t have to deal with empty soap dispensers, dirty floors, unsightly urinals, and a gym that is left in complete disarray from the day before. I know that the Fit Factory team can do better.

Not family friendly at all. They say they have a daycare but that's just a 20 something trying to entertain 15 kids. They don't allow you to work out there unless youre 15/16ish... Lines up w certain agenda by keeping young men who are 13 from working out there. They are globogym to all the avg joes out there. Oh and once you sign that contract better call Saul to get out of it. They took over a nice gym with basketball court. Raquet ball. Cycling. Dance. a solid weight selection. All separated. Hire a new manager! Morgan has no empathy for the community here in Braintree. She lets men workout in the middle of the gym SHIRTLESS during school vacation week! I see my neighbors kid at the gym and it is horrifying. I've confronted her twice about how she allows incessant live-streaming, recording, photography, etc. YET there's months of reviews describing how difficult she is to work with

Horrible gym. Minimum amount of equipment. You will never be able to have a proper work out as the few items they have are always occupied. Very dirty and lack of maintenance. Sauna and showers are unsanitary (mold growing). Always lacking paper towels and spray bottles to disinfect.

A nightmare to cancel membership as well. Very easy to sign up right there at front desk but no way of cancelling. They will redirect you to a random website where you have to register to REQUEST a cancellation. I do want to point out I was on a premium membership with no commitment. Also requested to cancel before the billing date and they force you to pay for an extra month even though you will not be using the gym.

Fit Factory in Braintree does not care about their gym members. They’re money thirsty, unsanitary, and unethical. Would NEVER recommend to anyone

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with accidental fees charged into my account. When joining, I signed the contract which states the $10.99/month and an annual fee of $70.98.

A month later, they charged me a second time for the annual fee of $70.98. Additionally, they charged me a monthly fee of $14.99, which goes against the contract agreement of $10.99/month. To get my money back and to remind them of the contract agreement, I was required to discuss in person, which was a huge inconvenience to my busy schedule.

A few months later, I froze my account for 3 months. Before I froze it, I confirmed with the staff member at the front desk that it would not charge me an additional annual fee later on. Fast forward, they charged me the annual fee AGAIN. I had to go in person AGAIN to discuss and they basically said oh well, we can not do anything about it. I tried to cancel my membership, but they wanted to charge me an additional ~$70 since freezing my account moved the annual end date. Again, this was not disclosed by any staff member when discussing the implications of freezing the account.

All in all, Fit Factory has some serious management issues. I have heard many scamming issues from both close friends, and the reviews on the internet. Unfortunately, I can now say that I have experienced the unethical behavior from Fit Factory myself.

So I paid for a " Paid in Full Membership" which ended. I was then told that I could re-join for another year and was unable to because I was moving out of state. Month's later this gym was charging my card without my authorization and have made numerous calls to them. Be very careful if you decide to join.. Abysmal. Overrun with gym rats. You can’t use the machines. I paid for a premium membership and stopped going bc it was such a nightmare and they totally removed the women’s only workout area that was the only place you could work out without being on display for the CrossFit dudes. I haven’t been in months and for some reason they need thirty day notice on a month to month membership and they wouldn’t throw me a bone and not make me pay the extra $50. I won’t be back. I’m not moving out. You don’t need notice so you can find someone to replace me. This is unbelievably predatory. My original intention was to give it some time and maybe rejoin but I will not be rejoining. I can’t even get a towel from these people without giving them my car keys. Even BSC doesn’t do that. Spend the extra dough and drive to Lifetime. These people have no clue what customer service is.

Like everything else in Massachusetts, it has aged horribly and is overcrowded. Upgrades are needed but even then be prepared to wait for machines for 45 minutes while teenagers who weigh 120 pounds soaking wet treat the rusted equipment like furniture.

It’s coming up on one year of membership at FIT factory for me. I can’t say enough good things about the gym. They have all the things that I need in order to keep myself in good shape. Recently they made some upgrades to the functional area and turf and I really enjoyed using the facility since then I even found that I was taking showers and using the sauna there more frequently so I ended up upgrading my membership from the basic level to more premium so that I can enjoy the services they have to offer even more. I can’t recommend fit factory enough.

This location is very clean. I would feel comfortable working out here long-term. There are ample supplies for cleaning between exercises. This place is just cheap, that would be the only reason to come here. The building is old and not clean and the equipment is usually broken or old and in the summer the AC is either not on or not powerful enough to keep the place cool. When I cancelled, you couldn't do it over the phone, they made it really complicated and they charged me the next month, even though I wasn't coming anymore because of the high temperature of the GYM. All in all, FF Braintree is a decent gym located in an area with not many options to pick from. I joined a few years ago and have had an OK experience thus far despite the ever changing protocols of the pandemic. They offer a $10 per/mnth membership which is a great during these tough times. I must admit the gym did a great job during the high of the pandemic with regards to cleanliness but since then many standards have slipped which I fear will be the norm now.

Firstly, the free weight area is an absolute mess. The weights themselves are torn to shreds (rubber hanging from the weight, exposed metal), always disorganized and never cleaned before being reracked. Despite being the same weight, the DBs are in all different shapes and often mismatched. This I can live with as I am used to warehouse-type gyms but its the Turf Area which really scares me.

There are a number of ppl each time I am there who do a full 45-60min workout on the turf area in their SOCKS. They are doing bench step-ups, box jumps and even putting their feet in the handle attachment of the cable machine doing kick backs - all in the sweaty socks. I also saw someone barefoot just last week stretching out on the turf.. You can actually see the sweaty footprints on the benches and when they walk to get equipment in adjoining rooms. Most other members use this area to stretch and have their hands/knees on the turf which is covered in who knows what (athlete's foot, ringworm, etc.). I really wish FF would add signage to mandate footwear on the turf given how popular the area is and how disgusting the current situation is.

If/when the turf area is managed better, I would recommend this gym to any and all south shore based ppl in need of a local gym membership.

UPDATE: It's been seven months and this place has only gotten worse. The turf area is even more DISGUSTING; I placed a mat down to stretch and was met with a ball of hair and discarded band-aid. There are sweaty footprints EVERYWHERE as many members work out without their shoes on and do not clean the equipment afterwards. This place needs a DEEP CLEAN and better policies to protect their members from ringworm, infections, etc..

So I join this guys on March 10 2022 and I was charged $79 for yearly joining fee in addition to the first $10 monthly fee. However again on April 10 2022 I had another $79 applied to my credit card! Thinking that it must be a mistake I called the them and and talked to the same guy that originally enrolled me. And honestly he failed not only to explain why I was double charged but also refused to issue me a refund.
If you newly enrolled with these scam-bags aka FitFactory! please double check your credit card statements and if you decide to enroll then please watch your credit card becz these guys will later side feed on fraudulent transactions that you may never noticed. I have disputed the charge and is currently under the review. DON’T LET THEM HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT CARD, Period! Get everything in writing!

Had a great experience at this gym for a long time. When covid started i figured i would a decent person and continue to pay my 160 dollar a month membership to support a local business. As time went by and the reality of the situation showed that the gym would not be opening for a long time i decided to attempt to cancel my membership. After many unanswered emails i received a call from a collections agency for an amount of 400+ dollars, that is now also on my credit. I will be providing them with the string of unanswered emails and i will also tell every person i come in contact with to stay away from this establishment because they take your generosity for weakness. I am sad because I only joined this location because online they claim to offer babysitting. I signed up right away after researching gyms with that option because I was excited about bringing my baby and toddler with me when I go workout. I went for the first time by myself last week and asked how the babysitting works, to be told that that’s no longer a service they provide. That they are thinking it over. The gyms are clean and the equipment is maintained well. I did have an issue with attempting to cancel my membership where I was told that there had always been a 30-day cancellation notice and that I was going to be charged not only for the month of March but also the annual membership fee. Clearly this was not making me happy. They did wave the month of March but still ended up charging me the annual fee of $49.99. I take Korinne’s barre class and new spin class! She’s an amazingly, attentive instructor and really knows how to get a class engaged. She takes the time to make sure you’re getting the most out of any class you take with her. I always walk out of her classes burning 100s of calories by focusing on different muscles for a full body workout. I would recommend her classes to everyone!

I have been trying to cancel the online membership since January of this year. Even though you can sign up online for a membership in two minutes, you cannot just give them written notice to cancel via email. I take Tiffany's 8am Sunday Zumba class and it is one of my favorite classes. I have never regretted taking the early class on a day off. Her great song choices, energy, and dance moves keep me going when i am out of breath. I burn 500 calories just having a great time dancing. It's like being out for a night of dancing without the unappealing club environment.

I loved this gym and miss it. I'm a powerlifter and as far as weights go, they had all the basic essentials needed to train and some extras. They were really understanding about COVID and didn't make a fuss about stopping/restarting memberships. They also organize the gym well and make good use of space. I appreciated their complimentary session with a physical therapist/trainer, however, they were a little annoying/pushy about trying to get me to sign up for recurring sessions during it. But I understand that's just how sales works.

I freaking love this gym. The staff always say “good morning” to me on the way in and “have a good one” on the way out .

Probably the best reasonably priced gym in the south shore. It has everything you need. And it’s clean! Hats off to the guy they have spot cleaning 24/7. Quiet guy, but super nice.

Also the locker room is nice and modern. It’s not equinox or lifetime, but it beats every gym I tried in the in/outside Quincy. The showers are nice as well.

But my favorite part about my membership are the YOGA classes. They used to always be during the FFIT class and it was super annoying to hear loud music and slamming weights, but they shifted the time and hired a new yoga instructor that is nice and loud. Megan...(I think? Idk she run the Thursday one) does an amazing job with her routines and always welcomes you to try different variations to the poses. I practice at home and at another studio, and she definitely adds a unique element to my practice. She’ll either suggest something challenging to spice it up or a modification to dial back if you’re injured or not as flexible as the others. Her and her playlist are my routine highlights each week.

For the most part I am a fan of all locations. The facilities are clean and the staff is very friendly. However, given the amount of members they are all over-crowded. The machines are all right on top of each other and there aren't enough of them to accommodate the amount of members (ie: leg machines). Not to mention that several machines are out of order (Braintree, Kingston) and the amount of time that it takes them to be fixed is ridiculous.

I will never recommend this gym until they give me my refund for the 3 months they over charged me after my confirmed cancellation. I had to put a stop payment through my bank myself to prevent future charges. They acknowledged the over charges and have not issued a refund after over 5 requests.

During covid closings I paid my dues in order to preserve jobs. After contacting the gym that I need to cancel due to a back injury, lupus and loss of job they would only close after I paid my yearly dues and the month of February. I have been unable to use these facilities for months. I guess I learned a valuable lesson it doesn’t pay to do the right thing or at least not with this company!!!!!!

Clean. Friendly staff. Got my free day pass and joined the next day. Every other machine is out if commission for covid so keeping a distance is easy upstairs. A little harder in the weight room since it's a tad crowded with machines. Not a lot of empty space to do certain things but it's still a nice gym and larger than others in the area. Fit Factory is the best gym I have belonged to by far, simply because of how fantastic the instructors are! I haven't been able to find a good replacement since moving away 1.5 years ago, so was very excited to be able to join again with their new virtual membership.

I have been a member of Fit Factory even before they opened during the snowiest winter in a trailer outside. I met Matt and he was so nice and gave me a tour even though they were not open. From that moment on, I have been in love with this gym its instructors, owners, and members. It was always clean and the trainers and instructors are great. My kids and husband are also members. This is more than a gym it truly is a family.

I would like to vote for my favorite instructors and mention that all the instructors all over the country have been wonderful with the live virtual classes and since I can get to class now without being in traffic rushed to get to the gym, I am able to take more classes with more variety and have lost 20 lbs and regained strength I had lost as I aged. I can't recommend taking the virtual live classes enough. They are a great way to stay or get in shape, safely and it allows you to reach for new heights over your typical safe zone and challenge yourself.

What can I say I love FitFactory and how amazing they have been at making changes during this pandemic. Group Fitness Director Kelsey G. has done an amazing job at coming up with virtual group fit classes...not only one or two but many to pick from! When COVID hit she scrambled to get virtual classes in the books and I was taking her virtual classes daily when in quarantine. Kelsey keeps the classes moving and even if your not sharing your camera she "senses" when you need that virtual push and will call you out to push you and keep you going. When she calls out my name and tells me "keep going!" I cannot help but smile because it shows her passion in her students and what she does.

From taking her Saturday Morning TBB classes I was able to correct my form and lift heavier within her classes. She provides strong physical and mental tips to help with your workout and gives you the mentality that you sometimes need to push through an exercise. Meg also gives efficient enhancements and modifications that will not break down your form but allow you to maintain it.

The location and set up of the gym is perfect and safe. There are so many options/benefits for such affordable prices! The staff is not only kind but also enthusiastic. I believe they are doing an incredible job with cleanliness and restrictions due to COVID. I went to school for exercise science and I learn new things weekly through the Forged Fitness classes and with talking to the personal trainers there, which is very exciting and encouraging! Going to FF is a bright spot in our day for my boyfriend and myself. Which means more to us now than we could have imagined a few months ago. You guys rock!

I think this is a great gym! The people are quite nice, and the gym is always really clean, which is very valuable during these times. One thing that made me especially appreciative was how easy and painless it was to freeze my membership during COVID. Unlike what a lot of other people/gyms are experiencing, they didn’t continue to charge me and I had no issues restarting my membership when they reopened.

The one thing that sucks is that the gym is a little smaller, so sometimes I have to wait to use some weights/machines, which can be a bummer. But overall I’m really pleased with Fit Factory, and would recommend it to anyone.

Been going to this gym before it was FitFactory, and I have to say FitFactory is the best so far. It's pretty clean and there is always someone cleaning the stairway, mopping the floor, cleaning the bathroom, spraying the machines. I give it a 4, not 5, because the only thing I would like to see different is better ventilation. It gets HOT and humid inside due to the body heat and sweat during busy hours.

WOW the best gym ever. As soon as I walked in, Nolan and Katie greeted me with smile. Initially, I was actually recommended by my friend to check out the gym (premium members can bring a gym buddy with them as a package) I cannot stress how friendly and helpful the staff members are. I was in for the tour and Nolan (seemed like a manager) took me to every cross fit room and explained me different classes I can take in details. He went over and beyond with any questions I had about my work out/eating plan and they seem to have that personal bond with the members. They knew everyone at the gym by name and were very cheerful. Nolan and Katie were sincere and super relatable which made me like the gym more!! After talking to them, I was certain that losing weight is possible. After this experience, I am definitely signing up for this gym as soon as I find out about my job situation. Another bonus perk is that this gym has the STEAM sauna and dry sauna as well. Very rare around this area. In conclusion, the Braintree fit factory has easily accessible equipments (I didn’t have to wait) and most importantly, very friendly cheerful, and smiling staff members give out positive energy that makes me want to come back. The gym was very clean and kept tidy. I would recommend this gym to anyone in the south shore area. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Fit Factory is a gym that makes you feel comfortable when you walk in. The front counter staff (especially Julia Moore) are always welcoming and have smiles on their faces. The facilities are always clean and comfortable. Women's locker room is very well kept and has everything you could need (sauna, showers, changing room, lockers, mirrors, etc).

Total Body Burn classes are AMAZING! Each instructors teaches the class differently but it is such an incredible workout. I always feel comfortable going at my own pace and there is always enough space in the class to move around freely.

I have recommended Fit Factory to about five of my friends and I will continue to do so- if you take a look at the facilities you will be hooked! 2020 New Year's Resolutions here we come!
