Our 3 year old loves coming here! It’s such an enjoyable class for toddlers. Miss Jenny and Coach Anthony are the absolute best! They are great with kids and overall make the experience better. Keri is also amazing.

We held our twins 7th birthday party at the GAB Norwood location on Saturday and had an awesome time! The planning and communication was very easy and they called to check in a few days before as well. The contract is straightforward and shows they take pride in your parties scheduled time and want to ensure you have the personal experience you are paying for. Its great that the kids transition through 3-5 activities and spaces because it keeps them excited, moving and engaged. There is really something for everyone and the coaches are accommodating and encouraging. The party space is clean and the coaches are hands on asking throughout the party how they can help and cleaning as they go. The coaches were friendly, enthusiastic and really made all the kids feel special. There are a lot of birthday party options out there but the value of what you get for the cost you pay for is incredibly reasonable and I appreciate that so much! Keep up the good work GAB!

We hosted our daughter’s 4th birthday party here at GAB and she had a blast! She still talks about it months later. Everyone were super friendly and kind especially Keri. She was so awesome to work with. She responded to all of my emails right away answering all of my questions. She was very flexible and understanding—I had to switch the party date so many times. Overall everyone had a great time! We were very pleased with how everything went!
The only thing I would like to tweak is, if we were given a little more prep time to decorate the party room. There was a party before us and they took a little longer to leave and I was rushing to get everything done in the party room as our guests were arriving. That was a little hectic, but the coaches took all the kids to entertain them so us adults were able to set up! We made it through and everything came out nice! The most important thing was that kids had so much fun! My daughter had so much fun so it was all worth it!! Thank you GAB team for a great birthday party!! Definitely recommend it if anyone looking to host parties here!

Awful experience for a birthday party at the NORWOOD LOCATION - look for alternatives (ACTON LOCATION IS GREAT).
Had my daughter's birthday party at Gymnastic Academy of Boston in Norwood, and it was a mess from start to finish. VERY poorly organized and badly managed. I had to decorate the party room by myself with the help of other parents since staff was nowhere to be found. Parents were unsure where to go and had to call me to ask for directions. Party didn’t start on time since the coached weren’t welcoming the kids inside the gym. I wasn’t able to attend the actual gym activities and take pictures because I was left with decorating and organizing the party room, including serving all the pizza and cake, making sure that kids were served when they got to the actual room.
The place was left to be “run by” 2 young teenage girls, that were also the coaches who were supposed to supervise the kids and coach them through the activities- needless to say how that went.It was clear that they were underqualified, affecting the quality of the event.
The only time one of the girls appeared was 10 min before the end to let me know that if we exceed the time, we will have to pay, she did care to say that while I was sweating, serving cake to the kids and even after witnessing that she just left.
During the gym time, there was hardly any supervision for the kids, and they were jumping around dangerously, almost hurting each other, I heard that from multiple parents after the event was over (what an embarrassment).
To make matters worse, I called the business after and asked to speak with the manager, Cindy, who returned my call after many follow ups. I explained that I would like to see the safety and staff issues addressed and compensation is more than appropriate. She assured me that she will call me back to touch base and never did. I followed up by phone and email and eventually received a reply from one of the employees offering 1 camp day. I replied that are all set for camp and that’s far from an appropriate response for the organization and safety issues experienced as paying customers. I have not heard back since.
This could have been resolved efficiently if my complaints were recognized and assured to be addressed along with appropriate compensation. Since neither happened I felt being brushed off which aggravated the situation even more.
I am not the complaining type but given that this was my daughters birthday party and the feeling of being treated as a nuisance rather than a respected customer I decided to call the higher management and complain not only about how the event went but also about the management’s unprofessional and disrespectful behavior towards their customers.
I spoke with Jamie, who is the owner of the Acton location, and he was terrific and overall a great manager. He explained that the 3 GAB locations are individually owned, and he is in charge of the Acton location, while Miss Cindy is in charge of the Norwood location and is actually the daughter of the establishing founders. This is really unfortunate because if you have a problem, Cindy is the person in charge and good luck in getting an appropriate problem-solving solution from her or being taken seriously as a paying customer.
Jamie really cares about his business and his clients and took full responsibility for our poorly executed event, apologizing for it and offering to throw my kids next bday party in the Acton location. He even mentioned that he tried himself to speak with Cindy about our event but is still waiting to hear back from her since she is traveling (which often seems the case every time I tried to contact her).
Jamie successfully salvaged the reputation of the Acton location and I will be more than happy to conduct future business with him.
This post is an adequate closure for me to let other present and future paying costumers know how this business operates. Just sad that it affected my daughters special birthday party that we were all so looking forward to.

We'd had a few decent events at GAB, but when our 7-year-old took a class there, their true colors showed. In the interest of brevity, here are the lowlights:
1. They put her in a class with four more experienced girls, all of whom knew each other - and the "coach" subsequently ignored those girls making fun of our daughter for not knowing as much.
2. When we brought this to the manager's (Keri) attention, they validated our concerns:
"Both the coach and I had to stop the class and talk to them about their behavior several times."
But their suggested solution was to move our daughter out of the class instead of continuing to make the other children improve their behavior. When I mentioned a partial refund, she couldn't get off the phone quickly enough.
3. We followed up about this numerous times, and after speaking to us twice, Keri stopped returning our calls. Eventually, we had leave work to visit the business in-person - only to be told that it would be best if they gave us a refund for the remainder of the class (but NOT the poor first few classes) and that she stopped attending.
It is very clear that GAB is more interested in money than in helping build kids' confidence and manners. We won't be sending any more business their way, and advise others to stay away.

It's a wonderful place for kids to learn gymnastics and have an enjoyable environment where parents don't need to force kids to do some activity.

5 star gymnastics academy. My 4 year old loves going to class, she’s a little small for her age so at first I was worried. In a little over a month I can’t believe the progress she’s made, she’s stronger, more balanced, agile, can pull her self up, support her weight on her arms, almost doing a flip. The instructors on Sunday morning are wonderful and patient, great with young children. The classes are professional, full of developmental drills, and the results show it.
Hoping to register my daughter 2 days a week when we get a Tuesday availability.

We recently had my son’s 4th birthday party here. We had an excellent time. The staff was attentive and really fun! Kept the group of 15 children, ranging in age from 1-5, totally entertained. Makayla was sweet and very helpful with organizing activities and serving pizza and cake. The party room was clean and large enough to comfortably enjoy pizza and cake for all of the children and adults. Highly recommended for a birthday party for all ages.

My daughter has gone there for two years now and loves it! Miss Jenni has been her instructor and we could not be happier with her. She is great with the kids and my daughter loves her. She is there during some open gym times as well and we love to go visit. All of my kids absolutely love the summer camp too. I love that they can swim there so they are getting some indoor and outdoor time. We look forward to many years of gymnastics here!!

Pathetic gymnastics academy in entire world.
This is the the worst place to learn gymnastics; the trainer are not experienced in the sport which they are providing the training. They don't teach anything my kids are going here from 1.5 years what they learned is very little. When class is going on trainers are going to manage multiple students with no format if teaching. It's way expensive but there training quality very poor. ..if you ask me out of 0-10./i rate this people at 0 literally ZERO.

Started with their 2017 summer camp 1/2 day for my 3yo. She loved the organized gymnastics and outdoor pool. Their flexible scheduling for summer camp is got us started, she was able to go one day a week for the entire summer. Kept her enrolled in gymnastics classes throughout the school year. The only downfall has been “open gym”. We love staying to play for open gym times with our friends, or coming in for open gyms during school breaks/snow days. Also, had a 4th birthday party there, the instructors did a great job keeping all the kids playing safely in the gymnastics obstacle course. They also have a bounce house in the main gym that setup for birthdays, and the price was comparable to other activity parties.

If you're not Caucasian, I wouldn't bring your child to this establishment. The staff isn't welcoming if you're African American, and certainly the parents are rude, stares at you and won't even sit next you. This place is a zoo, there isn't enough seating for anyone and the parents are all in clicks, and as soon as someone who isn't white comes in the door, they move their bags and try to get far away from you as if you're a disgusting creature. My child came here for the time being and I won't return. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!

Great place for young kids and super fun for birthday parties! Not the most growth for my daughter who has been coming here for a few years. She hasn't received much attention in the class. It seems the instructors are more interested in working with the kids who easily learn. The children that are very interested but slow to learn and/or quiet are can be overlooked by the instructors.
That being said...my daughter loves it here! (But I suspect that's because she sets her own pace and isn't pushed to improve)
