Training with Robson Nascimento has been consistently valuable because of his effort to change the work routines enough to make each meeting interesting and encourage new skills as well as strength. In addition, his sharing of the data from each session allows me to continue the work on my own. HealthWorks gym is a pleasure as well.

Really love this gym! It’s super clean, has all the equipment you need, and the atmosphere is great.
Huge shoutout to my trainer Robson!!! He’s honestly the best. He has helped me improve my overall health and always keeps me motivated to push a little further each session. I’ve made so much progress since working with him, and his encouragement makes a big difference. You’ll be in great hands if you end up working with Robson.

I've already benefitted from my personal training sessions at HW. I've cut back to once a month and Robson is able to give me enough workout to do on my own in between. I appreciate his flexibility and consciousness of my particular goals and needs. I LOVE the new machines!

I've been going to Healthworks for more than a year and so far I've been loving it! The gym was very spacious and the staff were all super friendly. In particular, shout out to my personal trainer Alexis, who's always encouraging and cheerful. Her lessons were tough in a good way; I'm really happy that I've become stronger!

I was a member of Healthworks for a little over a year until I moved to a new city. Healthworks set the standard so high I am now struggling to find a new gym! All the equipment was great, space was clean, staff was always super welcoming and helpful. And a very very special shoutout to the facilities staff who keep the locker rooms clean, and always greet members with the brightest smiles. The space is all women, except a few male personal trainers who were always extremely respectful.
The biggest issue I am having with finding a new gym is an establishment that pays attention to all the small details that make the experience comfortable. Healthworks does not forget anything! Will definitely be stopping by whenever I'm back in Boston :)

I’ve really been enjoying working with my trainer at the gym. He knows how to push me while still giving me some flexibility with my workouts. He’s very empathetic and helps me set realistic goals so I can keep improving. I’m not naturally a “sports person,” but I know how important this is for my health and well-being—and having his support and accountability has really helped me stay consistent and make progress.

I have worked with Dianna for almost 11 years now, and I have only great things to say!
She’s helped me so much through various injuries, surgeries and strength goals. I’m so lucky to have her as a trainer!

I have been a member for about 15 years, first at Back Bay, and 6 years at Coolidge Corner. Dianna has been my trainer for as long as I have been at Coolidge Corner. She has seen me through two knee injuries, increasing age, and sometimes a grouchy attitude, with patience, humor, and persistence. Without her, my age would be more of a limitation. She is the best!

I have been working with Dianna for over 12 years and I cannot imagine a better trainer . No slacking ever so one is always progressing in her fitness. For the best results, train in person. Thank you, Dianna, for keeping me in as good a shape as I am. I look forward to working with you in the years ahead.

I’ve been loving my experience at Healthworks! Its relaxed and inclusive feeling is what makes the gym experience so special. My trainer Alexis S. is incredible; she knows how to push me just the right amount while keeping every workout positive and fun. Never thought I’d be able to do box jumps but she got me there!

Been a member for a little over a year here and love my neighborhood gym. It’s a very welcoming and supportive environment for wherever you may be at with your fitness journey. The facilities are clean, the equipment is well maintained, and the classes are varied and fun. I have a back injury, and have been so grateful for the help my excellent trainer, Alexis Sabatino, who has helped me gain strength and endurance safely. Alexis kicks my butt every week in the best possible of ways and I’m so excited to see my progress, week after week!

I have been a member of Healthworks Coolidge Corner for 18 years.Since I am older, I have always worked with a trainer to make sure I keep myself fit but don't hurt myself. I have worked with my current trainer, Dianna Reed, for close to 10 years. She has been very helpful, always flexible in accommodating my periodic aches and pains, very knowledgeable about what can help and what to avoid based on understanding how the muscles work, takes my fitness goals seriously and is a kind and understanding person. Healthworks is a friendly environment for women.

I have been a member of Healthworks for 25 years. Over those years I have been fortunate and worked with a number of excellent trainers. Each of them taught me a lot and helped me increase my my fitness level as I aged. I am not 85. Dianna has been my trainer for the past two years. She is a consummate professional--knowledgable with a great sense of humor and tons of common sense. She comes to each session with a plan for the meeting and tells me the purpose of various exercises. There is always something new. She strikes the sweet spot of supporting my gains and setting new goals for me to meet. Dianna is excellent. Judith Himber

I've been a member of HealthWorks Coolidge Corner for many years. For the last two years, Dianna has been my personal trainer. Her exercises are tailored specifically for my injuries and she constantly asks if I'm having any pain. If so, she can adjust the task expertly. HWs maintains a clean gym; the personal are friendly and efficient.

I really struggled with finding a gym that checks all the boxes, until I found Healthworks, Coolidge is the one that's the most convenient one for me to get to, The other clubs have more spa amenities, but Coolidge still offers a lot. I love the different classes and it can fit my schedule, I'm still learning how to work out on my own, so the classes are more beneficial for me. The instructors are knowledgeable, and friendly.

I’ve been a member of Healthworks Coolidge Corner for several years and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff are welcoming, the trainers are highly knowledgeable, and the facilities are always excellent.
I’ve trained with Alexis Sabatino and Nick Lancaster, both of whom go above and beyond for their clients. Thanks to their guidance, I’ve grown stronger and fitter with every visit. Alexis is currently helping me prepare for an upcoming race by focusing on upper body strength and endurance.
I also see Kristina Smarz, an exceptional massage therapist. She takes the time to address sore muscles and always provides stretches and tips to help reduce soreness between visits.
The results and support make it well worth it.

I've been working out at Healthworks in Coolidge Corner since I moved to Brookline 10 years ago (except when it was closed for covid, and I met 3 days a week with my trainer on zoom during that time). I've had Dianna Reed as my trainer all that time, and I recently switched to Dianna twice a week and Isabelle once a week. Both trainers are excellent; I recommend both. The equipment is great; the gym is clean and well-equipped; the locker rooms and showers are clean and spacious. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I also love the massage service; my favorite masseuse is Katrina Smarz.

I was really excited to join Healthworks because it’s marketed as a gym created specifically for women. While the facilities are nice, I was very surprised and disappointed to find that it lacks one of the most basic and important services for women: on-site childcare/daycare.
For many of us who are mothers, being able to balance fitness with childcare is essential. A women-focused gym should understand this need and provide at least some form of supervised childcare to make workouts more accessible. Without this, it feels like the gym is overlooking a core part of what many women truly need to make wellness possible.
Until Healthworks addresses this gap, it doesn’t really live up to its mission of supporting women’s health in a practical, holistic way.

I’m coming up on a year here at this gym so I thought it’s time to give my honest review. I’m a 20 year old college student for reference and I was looking for a gym with a sauna, steam room, showers, punching bags, and spin/cardio equipment. This gym marked all my boxes. I did the tours of both this location and the back bay location. I ended liking both so I did the flex membership to be able to use both locations. Will say the Back bay location has more equipment however it is a bigger space compared to the Coolidge location. The locker rooms are great, it’s always clean no matter what time of the day. The other members are nice and courteous. Everyone always wipes down their machines after each use which is great. It’s also never too busy. I’ve rarely had to wait for a machine. They have enough equipment to hit legs, back, and arms. The only down side for me is cost however that has to be expected when in Boston. I would warn everyone to read each of the membership options carefully as well as the freeze and cancellation policy for each membership as it varies. Can’t wait to come back this school year!

I could not have more good things to say about this place! Very nice, clean facility with friendly staff. I especially appreciate that they do a survey once or twice a year. Someone actually responded to the points I made in the open response section, and I felt very heard. I've recently had to cancel my membership (as I'm moving), and the cancellation process was also very smooth ... they didn't make me jump through hoops, get on a call, etc. If there's one complaint I have, it's that they don't have enough locations! I hope they start some new ones across the greater Boston area!

Clean gym, but would love more upgrades. Even Gymit has a smith machine and their fee is a fraction of what I pay for HW. Could also use more upper body machines as well. I will say I love their classes, I wish they offered more during the day.

When it comes down to it every gym will be slimy at the end of the day because it is their business model. Was a member at HWX for 3 years and they still need to suck an extra membership charge from me. Recently cancelled my membership due to no longer being able to justify the price and wanting to explore alternatives. Even after just paying a bimonthly fee I was informed that I will have to pay another as it is part of the cancellation protocol. I understand this is my fault for not reading the fine print when signing on, but also want to implore you all to stop this shady business practice when you already got sooooo much money from me over the years. Previously I probably would have rejoined HWX after a brief hiatus, but now I have a bad taste in my mouth. Taking my business to Down Under Yoga where there are no hidden fees/ slimy last minute charges.
As far as actual facilities solidly a three, very small but clean. No smith machine and could benefit from some other various machines. Also feel like for a gym built around being all women the majority of trainers are men. Price is coming verrry close to that of Lifetime when all hidden fees are involved and this is not a luxury gym in the slightest.

I love the CC location because the workout spaces on the 2nd floor are spacious, well-kept, and updated. I also like the general environment due to other gym goers being friendly and conscientious about sharing machines. My only (small) want is for more things in the locker room like hairspray, spray deodorant, hair ties etc. I’ve been to other gyms that offer these kinds of things, and it was really helpful when getting ready.

I was given a tour and it felt like I was being looked down upon, as if I couldn’t afford the price of the membership. The price has also gone up from $100 to $130 monthly at their base price over the past year which is absurd. Overall it felt unwelcoming and pretentious

Healthworks Coolidge Corner has made going to the gym less of a chore and more of something I look forward to!! The trainers care about you and your success not only in terms of how fast you run or how heavy you lift but in all aspects of your life- they will literally and metaphorically take their shoes off their feet for you. Thank you, Adrienne! There is something for everyone at this gym and it is worth every penny.

I've been a member at this gym for a few years now and used to love it and did regular personal training since i joined but some of their recent policies and decisions are ridiculous. I was 30 seconds past the cut off period for a class (literally watch the clock change as I walked in) and was turned away by the instructor and told to take a picture of the workout and complete it on my own. I had been attending this class weekly for a few months so this really soured my experience at healthworks.

Joining this gym is literally the best decision I've ever made. Every single employee at this club is so welcoming and helpful - front desk, housekeeping, massage therapists, trainers and management. Adrienne in particular is an amazing trainer, group fitness instructor and manager at the club. Every class with her is fun and challenging and everyone who takes her classes all become good friends! The brand new renovations at CC are beautiful and created so much more space. I also love using the sauna/spa post workout to relax and recover. The community at HW CC is unmatched and coming here is the best part of my day. If you're considering, join today - you will not regret it!

I have been trying to ignore their unwelcome manners for years and I feel like it is finally my time to stop coming here. My busy schedule only allows me to work out at night, some days I check-in 30 mins before they close. They only sigh to see me because they are always busy counting coins to close their cash register. When I email them with questions, they don’t care to respond. When I call them, they sound so annoyed that I called. I also noticed all the trainers look so tired already in the morning. I understand we are in the middle of this pandemic, but I only wish this place was for me to feel welcomed, motivated and included.

Finally made it back after a year and a half away, and still love it as much as I did before. Folks were great about mask wearing and cleaning gear and distancing. I’ve been accessing their virtual resources for the last 18 months which are just as great, the yoga and other classes really got me through! I love the calming effects of the music in the locker room and it was just nice to be back in a supportive space. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and super understanding. Imo if it’s a gym you’re more likely to actually go to, it’s worth the price tag.

I went to try out a class here and then spent some time stretching and using the equipment. The gym was so clean and looked beautiful. The class was an absolute blast. I decided not to join due to the fact that one of the male trainers (I believe his name was Jamie) was boasting to his client that he was not vaccinated and yet was not masked either. The Coolidge Corner Healthworks is a clean facility, just like the other Healthworks locations. The parking can be annoying and is metered until 8pm. Pedestrian roam freely so it can be nerve-wracking to search for parking while dodging them.
I typically use the gym for their classes, which are fantastic. Emily, Corinne, and Kelly are such amazing people; they get your body moving and aching with giant grins on their faces. You'll definitely be sore the next day.
