I’ve been going to Hinge for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The trainers strike the right balance between group training and individualized attention - they really know how to both push and support you. But what truly sets Hinge apart is the community. Everyone is welcoming, encouraging, and genuinely invested in each other’s progress. You sign up thinking it’s just a gym and before you know it you’re part of something that makes you healthier - and you’re actually enjoying the work. Highly recommended!

Come for the strength programing, stay for the friendships. The programing is excellent. I would never have the energy or motivation to build and stick with a plan that emphasizes whole body movements and strength. No mental energy required. All I have to do is show up. And since people often go to the same class time you get to know and connect with people in a way you could never do at most other gyms. That includes the coaches who are both knowledgable and fun to be around.

Hinge has been transformative for me. I’ve never been particularly athletic and in my early 30s had yet to find an exercise program that I enjoyed enough to be consistent and see results. Weightlifting had not once been on my radar. Fast forward several years and I am stronger than I ever thought possible.
I first found Hinge as a newly post-partum mom looking for safe movement with a knowledgeable trainer. A certified pre-natal and post-partum coach, Hinge’s owner Sarah was the perfect fit. At many points throughout my strength journey, I’ve struggled with self-doubt or fear of trying a new lift - I simply cannot say enough about the level of care, encouragement and individualized attention I’ve received from the Hinge team. It is an incredibly safe space for ALL levels, ALL bodies and ALL ages and the sense of community is very special.
I currently attend their strength-con classes as well as their women’s-only strength offering (shoutout to Coach Jen who is the absolute BEST). For me, Hinge offers the perfect amount of variety to keep me challenged, progressing and enjoying every workout. Wherever you are in your journey - completely new to lifting, avid lifter, post-injury, pregnant or post-partum - there is a place for you in our Hinge community, ready to welcome you with open arms and a perfectly timed “you can totally go heavier” :)

Hinge fitness changed my life. I never liked exercise. Hated it in fact. Through Hinge, I’ve not only found a love of weight lifting, I’ve found community. I was so worried I’d be the biggest or the weakest or the most embarrassing that it kept me from exercise for years. Hinge has all kinds of people, all kinds of bodies and everyone is so welcoming. No one is judging and all achievements are celebrated, big and small. If you think you can’t do it, join. If you’re on the fence, join. Take it from me, you won’t regret it.

HINGE Fitness is a great gym with an awesome community and competent coaches. The focus is on functional fitness in a group setting-but coaches are individualizing cues, technique, and modifications based on each individuals skill set and goals. Great place for beginners who are walking into the gym for the first time but also fitness enthusiasts who have been working out for a while. I am also a big fan of Sarah's Prenatal And Postpartum Fitness class. I HIGHLY recommend this gym!!

Hinge is an amazing gym and community! Sarah and Tara have built a space where the moment you walk in the door – you’re happy to be there. And that’s an amazing feat at 6:00 AM 😊!
I have been training with Sarah for over two years now and have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I reached out to her after I had my second child (2nd c-section) – feeling vulnerable and in the the worst shape of my life. I had minimal strength and conditioning experience but was motivated to heal my diastasis recti. Sarah was down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns. She is a certified prenatal and postpartum personal trainer, so I knew I was in good hands. We focused on the importance of good form, intentional movement, and breath. Over time I began to feel stronger, had increased flexibility and better balance. That first year we reached so many personal goals I had set – it felt great!
Sarah continues to be amazing to work with. We sit down every few months to set attainable goals and help create focus. Whether it’s setting a new PR on bench press or running a 5k, we work it into our weekly sessions. Her tailored approach allow me to progress at a consistent pace – increasing both strength and stamina. I have noticed a marked improvement in my muscle definition, overall conditioning and energy levels. I have never felt better than I do today! Sarah makes training fun, is dedicated to her clients, and truly committed to your overall health and wellness. I am grateful for her – she has become a good friend and continues to inspire and motivate me weekly!

I have always been intermittent in my workout habits. Since I started working out at Hinge, I've been more consistent in my workout habits and I strongly believe it is because of the amazing community and exceptional coaches. Hinge Fitness is a wonderful community centered gym. Sarah & team have created something very unique and its clear they pour their heart and soul into the culture of the community they have built. I have personally benefited from the post partum classes that Sarah leads. I have really enjoyed learning about better movements and have found myself growing in strength as I continue on this journey with them. In addition, I have met the most wonderful group of friends through these classes. Hinge is an absolute gem. Wonderful gym and community with incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and growth-minded coaches. Focus is on strength training and functional fitness; looks similar to a Crossfit gym (barbells, etc.) but with a focus on longer-term health, fitness, and strength. One of the owners, Sarah, is also a certified prenatal and postpartum trainer, and if I could wave a magic wand every mom would have a Sarah to support a strong, healthy pregnancy and recovery. Any level of experience or ability will find a home at Hinge.
