I want to share a longer review of the details of the reasons I want to express gratitude for Hometown Sweat, but we can just start with the level of compassion and inclusivity offered by the studio from the desk staff to the instructors; I have been wildly impressed. I was narrowing down my choices from this studio and one that was equidistance from my house and was so comfortable at HTS that I never checked out the other. I am not a reviewer, but knew this would help their business and I wanted to repay their generosity. This studio is a great option for all fitness levels and the teachers make accommodations so that everybody can participate.

READ BEFORE SIGNING UP SO YOU HAVE A SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE: I signed up for the unlimited trial period. The first time I arrived to the facility I was three minutes late and locked out of the facility. I read the note on the door and there was a sign that says if you are late you’re locked out. I read the website before signing up, and I did not notice this posted anywhere. It was on a confirmation email, but I received so many emails from Hometown Sweat, it wasn’t in the email I read. They were kind enough to waive the $15 fee. I then had to cancel a whole weekend of yoga due to being sick. Despite my best efforts, I was charged $15 because their website glitched and did not cancel two of my classes that weekend. I reached out to let them know I had cancelled the classes and had been having trouble with their website, and I got an automated response about the Walla app for scheduling. I also did not see this app posted anywhere on the website or in the emails. I then tried to cancel a class, but I was too late, and got a message I would be charged $15. I decided not to cancel and attend the class. Even though I showed up and checked in, I was still charged for cancelling the class too late that I didn’t cancel and attended. I brought them clients, and tried to better myself, but ultimately they set me back financially. I had been going back and forth in email trying to get a portion of my money back they charged me in fees, but they just stopped answering.

I joined hometown sweat several months ago and it has been the BEST experience!! I was immediately welcomed by staff and felt 100% comfortable. I try to go to a class at least once a week, all of the teachers are wonderful and I have never been so confident in my practice as I am now. I am amazed at the progress I have made, the confidence I have in my body’s flexibility and abilities is better than ever! 100% recommend Hometown Sweat!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I love practicing yoga , recently bikram has been my choice of class , and went to hometown sweat for that reason. I found the instructors weird and rude but besides that normal. There were no issues until I was told out of nowhere that I wasn’t welcome at this studio anymore because I was “harassing” the staff. I can only come to the conclusion that this studio practices discrimination and is comfortable with that. I had no issues with any staff so literally not a clue why I’m not allowed at this yoga studio. For that reason I would stay away from this location unless you’re someone who wants to support dictatorship style practice as well as freedom to discriminate and behave very strange and very false behavior to paying clients . Not impressed and totally disgusted .

I just joined 2 months ago and it has been amazing so far. My first experience ever doing group classes and also anything "hot". All the instructors are so welcoming and helpful. The classes are really diverse in terms of modifications people do, too, so you don't have to feel worried about feeling like you're the person who can't keep up. Diverse attendance in age and gender, too. Highly recommend! Love it.

Had some awesome yoga this morning at Hometown Sweat in Natick. Did the OG thing, Hot 26&2, Lysa was the teacher. This series is my favorite and it did not disappoint. Maybe 50 people turned out for the 7:30 am session; some real good energy. Turns out it is Hometown's 13th anniversary (they celebrated by giving away free classes! So awesome, thank you very much!!) This is a great well run studio that offers diverse classes. Check it out!

Hometown Sweat has really been a game changer for me. I am relatively new to yoga, pilates, and a "hot" atmosphere, and I was a little bit nervous at first.
Hometown Sweat is a very inviting environment. The staff and the patrons are so enthusiastic, warm and welcoming. It is a judgement free zone. People are encouraged to focus on themselves, and modify if needed.
The instructors offer you help and feedback in a constructive kind of way. They are genuine and they really care about your well-being. The workouts are tough, fun, and well-run.
Showers are available after class for 15 minutes.
There is plenty of parking.
I seriously have no complaints and I feel so lucky to be a part of such a great community.

I have recently joined Hometown Sweat and have had the pleasure of attending two different classes so far, a Hot Pilates and a Hot Yoga class. Both were really great and extremely challenged me. What a fantastic bunch of Yogis and clients. Everyone is so supportive and kind especially to a Yoga neophyte such as myself. I can barley do any of the positions at this point, but am really excited to move further along with the help of the great folks there. I can happily & strongly recommend Hometown Sweat to those seeking to build upon their individual health.

I am a relatively new member of the Hometown Sweat studio, and wow, am I glad I discovered it! From the very first day I showed up for a "Hot Hour" yoga class, both the instructors and the other students were friendly and welcoming, greeting me with warm smiles and hellos. I felt at ease immediately instead of like an outsider who'd showed up uninvited to an exclusive "club," which, sadly, is what I've experienced at other studios in the past. The fact that Hometown Sweat offers an excellent variety of hot yoga classes, each one led by an excellent, attentive, and caring instructor, is a huge plus for me, as I need the heat to feel more supple and relaxed. (And I like to sweat!) The mirrored studio is large enough to accommodate classes of about 25 students, and classes generally seem to fill up. The front desk and dressing area is bright and open and very clean, with cubbies for everyone to store their shoes, extra clothes, etc., and hangers for coats. Hometown Sweat is also extremely well-managed, with an easy-to-use website and class sign-up function. I was also impressed by the fact that, after taking my first classes, my instructors sent personal emails to me, welcoming me to the studio and offering to answer any questions I had or give me special instruction if needed. For anyone seeking a solid, hot yoga experience in a friendly environment, this should be Choice #1 in the Natick/Wellesley area. Highly recommend!

As a lifetime athlete and exercise enthusiast yoga was always something I was curious about but honestly something I didn’t feel I had time for as a busy mom of three. Sure the mind body connection would be helpful, of course I could always stretch more and be more flexible but I just had never before identified as “yogi”. I went to Hometown Sweat bc my brother raved about it, specifically the Original Hot Yoga. He too, like me was not a “yogi”. I went to my first class a few months ago and although it was hard to get through the session i immediately knew that hot yoga was EVERYTHING I’d always been missing! Yoga is NOT just stretching, it’s not just woo woo mind/body meditation, every class is an athletic, mental journey that leaves me feeling empowered and ready for anything the day throws at. I feel proud every time I leave the studio that I’ve done this for myself. It’s so hard to explain but if you have always been curious, give it a try! 90 min sounds longgg but it flies by! The staff are always so welcoming and helpful. And after a few pandemic years of working out in my home, it’s amazing to have joined a community of smiling faces that like me, want to give themselves the gift of this practice!

Almost passed out in one of my first classes there; but, as with every class since, I felt 10x better walking out of the studio than when I walked in which is why I’m now almost at my 100th class and I don’t plan on slowing down.

They lack lots of the necessary aspects of a Bikram studio and could do much better with professional teachers who respect the practice.
EDIT: Based on the owner's comment, I read the article. It repeatedly refers to *offering the same series* *the same yoga* and more ways of saying it's Bikram without the name, therefore making her comment irrelevant.

I attend the 90 minute Original Hot Yoga class with Laura Senst. I was a guest of one of their regulars. Laura made a point to come up to me to welcome me by name. The graciousness continued through the class by having me feel a part of the group when I could see I was in a class with serious students of yoga. After class other students made a point to acknowledge my participation and sharing the class.
True to their name, I left plenty is sweat in the room. At no time did I feel I needed to go beyond my limits and if anything Laura helped me to stay present to my experience and my body’s feedback. I heartily recommend this studio for your Yoga experience.

If you are looking to get great workout Hometown Sweat is the place to be! My close friend has been attending this studio for a few years now and encouraged me to join. Since dropping my previous gym membership a few months ago and joining the Hometown Sweat studio I lost 20lbs! The Inferno Hot Pilates classes in conjunction with Hot Yoga classes have been extremely beneficial, not only physically but mentally as well. Aside from getting a fantastic workout, my favorite part about Hometown Sweat are the people! The instructors are extremely friendly, encouraging and very down to earth individuals. If you ever have any questions about the workouts, stretching or have personal goals you’ve set the instructors are more than happy to engage with you and offer advice. Aside from the great instructors the Hometown Sweat clients are very friendly and often offer encouragement to others before, during and after workouts. I have worked out at several gyms in the past and participated in workout classes offered but those gyms/classes don’t compare to this studio on many levels. If you are on the fence about whether Hometown Sweat is a place for you sign up for a class or two and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

I joined Hometown Sweat almost a year ago because so many people I know went and loved it - I was hooked after the first class! I primarily take Inferno Hot Pilates and Hometown HIIT classes, but I’ve also taken a few yoga classes as well and love that even though I’m a total beginner I felt welcome and comfortable. The variety of classes and instructors is great, there’s definitely something for everyone! The studio itself is lovely and welcoming, and since I’ve been practicing at home since March, the team at Hometown Sweat has done a really incredible job at making the community feel connected even though we’re apart physically. Hometown Sweat classes have definitely been a highlight of 2020!

I can't say enough about this small business. It starts from the top with their fearless leader Maria. She is strong and driven and inspirational and it trickles down to her whole team. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and makes sure you feel comfortable there. The workout is intense and you can't beat the pricing structure. I have been going for over a year but have ramped up the past few weeks. I have been to 11 one hour hot Pilates classes in March. I have never felt more fit. My core and legs are stronger than ever. I can touch my toes with ease for the first time since high school. My lungs and endurance have increased by leaps and bounds. And I leave covered and sweat with a clear mind every single night. I can't wait to get to class. I have lost 14 pounds and almost 3% in body fat over this time with a change in diet and lifestyle. This studio has saved my life and I can't thank Maria and her team enough. I award them 50 stars. Go get a membership and thank me later

I feel great about supporting a local business - especially one owned by a woman who is doing a GREAT job running her business AND raising a young family. A clean, well-run studio with easy parking and an ample schedule. Teachers are friendly, experienced, diverse, and over themselves....in the good way. No one's working out personal issues with excessive heat, or by leaving everyone in a posture while they prove a point to someone. Products, group-challenges, and lessons are available, but information comes as a welcome, not a push. I can slip in and out, or stick around and chat with nice people. I'll keep going back - so far it's my favorite yoga studio experience.

After just 3 weeks of doing hot Pilates at Hometown Sweat, I have already noticed life changing improvements to my overall health and well being. I’ve always struggled with back pain, but that is now a thing of the past. I’ve tried a chiropractor, I’ve looked up stretches and workouts, however until hot Pilates nothing has seemed to work.
My mental health has improved as well. I have a stressful job, and usually leave the office feeling overwhelmed. However, after a class here all of the stress of my day/week seems to vanish.
Lastly, the staff and students of the classes are very nice and welcoming. Starting out, I was a little nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but within 5 minutes of walking through the door I felt like I was at home. I have already made some good friends through the class.
All in all, if you are thinking about giving hot Pilates a shot, I strongly encourage you to come to Hometown Sweat!!

I have really enjoyed the experience at Hometown Sweat. It is a challenging and fun event. The instructors are energetic and enthusiastic about leading the classes. I really look forward to my weekend Hot Yoga session. Did the Inferno Pilates and it was an amazing high intensity workout! I felt the good vibes and encouragement throughout.

So glad to have found a Bikram Yoga studio near where I live in Natick! They keep it HOT, the studio itself is really spacious, and the vibe is super friendly! I haven't tried the Hot Pilates yet but I plan to. Also they have some great promotions and deals that are always going on

I can’t say enough positive things about Maria and Hometown Sweat and how friendly everyone has been. I am recovering from 3 knee surgeries in 6 months and the heat along with the Pilates and yoga classes are doing more for flexibility and strength than the physical therapy I was performing.

There aren’t many things I’d get up early for, but the Inferno Hot Pilates class at Hometown Sweat is absolutely one of them. I never thought I’d enjoy working out so much (and in the heat, no less) but here I am addicted to IHP! I’ve also taken Bikram Yoga here and there is such a feeling of community at this studio it’s amazing. Everyone supports each other and it truly makes exercising fun. The instructors are all so wonderful and the studio is spotless. I always leave HS feeling stronger and happier than when I walked in - keep it up Hometown Sweat team!

Hometown Sweat is a SPECIAL place! Maria and her team are the most welcoming, kind and encouraging group! The studio is convenient and spotless (not to mention the heat is THE BEST)! I have been coming to Hometown Sweat since the very first day and have yet to find a yoga/Pilates studio nearly awesome! IHP has transformed this momma of 2 and SO much fun doing so!

I am not sure where to even begin, but I think a good place to start is to thank Maria (the studio owner). She is so kind and patient and offered me Bikram Yoga at a time that I desperately needed to heal. I came from a non-Bikram dedicated yoga studio to Bikram Yoga Natick and stepped into a whole new world! Bikram has been so wonderful in clearing my mind and helping me "to be still" and although I am still a beginner Maria and all her instructors make me feel like every class is better than the last. And they are right because just showing up and breathing is what it's all about, making yourself better one class at a time. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO LIVES IN THE NATICK AREA to go to BIKRAM YOGA NATICK and try your first class, I promise you will be hooked!

I can't sit criss-cross so I'm not a flexible pretzel but I do love a good Yoga class. I discovered power yoga about 10 years ago and enjoy trying the many variations. The wonderful thing about Bikram is how consistent it is with the same 26 poses each class so if you travel - even to a land with a foreign language you can follow along and know the routine if you are a regular practice. And if you have never tried, there is no better place than at Bickram Natick where the owner/ instructor, Maria, is clear and encouraging to guide from one move to the next. The time goes by so fast just listening to her rhythmic constant stream of direction, count, and motivation. Any studio with Bikram's blessing as a true Bikram Yoga studio is required to be carpeted. The reason is safety since it is the original HOT yoga and wood or other floors would be hazardously slippery from sweat. Bikram Yoga Natick is incredibly clean with wonderful showers and changing areas. The studio floors are professionally cleaned regularly and large fans vent the room. That being said, there have been comments about odor and to address this I would point to the full capacity of students at most classes due to popularity and a reminder of how it smelled when you came back to your desk in 3rd grade in an air-conditioned clean room when everyone just came running back in from recess all sweaty. No matter how clean a place is, sweaty bodies have an odor. Consider it a good thing and prepare to join in!
