WOW... hot is the new cool! I am experiencing so many benefits from the hot yoga classes. While I think I should complain about how hot, sweaty or achy I am after a class, I don't... I just feel so alive. Thanks to Sam and the team for the encouragement and the running dialogue during classes about the health benefits for mind, body + soul.

I had the pleasure of taking the “in HIS presence” Pilates class this evening. It was amazing! I so enjoyed it and look forward to going back. Walking into the studio was like receiving the biggest hug. I felt so connected before during and after class. Johanna did an amazing job guiding us through. I can’t wait for the next one!!!

I love coming to Hot Yoga Auburn. My favorite class has been the Full Moon Yoga (monthly full moon healing yoga session - MUST TRY) taught by the fabulous instructor Penny. I also go to her self love class which has helped heal my hip pain. 10/10 reccomend this studio! They have great other offerings like power hot yoga and Pilates.

I took Liz’s second class! She’s a great addition, another personality to add to the mix! She’s gives friendly reminders of your goals and pushes you with different work outs. My abs and upper back were sore the next day- in a good way.
Melinda’s class is my favorite! It’s something about the lights off, projector lighting, wet cloth with essential oil at the end of the work out that just relaxes me. I also enjoy her playlist, just similar interest in genre.
Lindsay- what can I say! She’s upbeat, dances but definitely gets a work out in. Her class fills up quick, so reserve your spot, get there early (if you prefer a certain spot) and get ready to work!
Overall my experience has been 10/10 all of the instructors are great! I’ve been to almost every class and I’ve only been there since April. Hot Yoga Auburn creates an environment where you listen to your body, work out at your own pace, focus on your goal and most importantly love yourself!

I started my journey at HYA at the start of March. I took Inferno Hot Pilates with a friend who swore she was in the best shape of her life when she took this class twice a week. I hesitantly showed up, somehow got through the workout, and was instantly addicted despite my initial reservations and insecurities about myself. After an 8 class trial run, I purchased a membership for unlimited classes (all classes!) for an unbeatable monthly price. I started with two classes a week, which quickly became three and then five. I became close friends with Melinda, an instructor whose health and wellness aspirations aligned closely with my own. Her playlist, the exercises, the motivation, the instruction, the vibe - it's therapy. I have met so many encouraging, kind, enthusiastic, and genuine instructors at Hot Yoga Auburn who push me every day to become my better self. I am so thankful to be part of the HYA community. Stronger mind and body every day!

This studio is doing so many things right, I’m always in awe of the vibrancy of the community and how well they do at welcoming all backgrounds, fitness levels, ages, and body types. They have such a variety of classes all throughout the day so you can catch them no matter what your schedule is — if you’re an early bird, there are classes for you, if you prefer midday or evening, they have classes through 8pm at night. There’s zero judgement here and I started showing up consistently when I was 5 months postpartum and it’s been such a nice transition back to movement. The owner is super supportive of couples and workout partners, so find yours and sign up for a couples’ membership! It’s super accesible and they find ways throughout the year to keep you motivated. We’re currently competing in the Summer Olympics which has been so fun, and a great way to hold ourselves accountable while trying some new classes. 10/10 studio, you won’t be disappointed when you join!

Love, love, love this place!! I can only describe it as addicting! Once you start, and feel all of the benefits of hot yoga/pilates, you just want to keep going back. They have so many classes everyday of the week that it’s impossible not to fit a class into your schedule everyday. So far I have taken the yin yoga, barre, Pilates (HIIT and restorative) and their Caribbean Pilates is so much fun!! Staff are super friendly and there to help and describe what’s needed for their classes. Lastly, I just enjoy how they let everyone know they should just pay attention to their bodies and if you’re moving, then that’s a great step forward, it’s just not intimidating whatsoever. Try it out, you will not be disappointed!

After my second baby, I wanted to feel strong, confident, and like “me” again. I joined this studio in December 2024, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The classes are challenging yet fun, and the instructors make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in.
In just a few months, I’ve noticed huge changes — I’m stronger, more energized, and so much more confident in my body. Each class is a perfect mix of hard work and encouragement, and I always leave feeling better than when I came in.

Best decision I have made in a long time. I feel amazing since I joined this studio in March. My back pain is 90% better. I'm physically stronger. My attitude is more positive, my skin looks great and I feel younger. I enjoy a combination of Pilates and Yoga. I have always been physically fit and active but this is next level body and mind fitness. The Instructors are fabulous. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to live their best life.

Wonderful experience! I was brand new to Pilates and took my first class with Joanne Ortiz. Her music choices, and her encouragement was spot on! Her instruction allowed me to follow along the entire class without being lost, even though I was new. I really love the positive affirmations and encouragement that she gives throughout the entire class. I love how connected you get to your body and mind… it’s quite an experience. I am hooked! For my preferred practice (26+2), Ann Marie and Danielle are incredible instructors that you must experience. I haven’t been here long but, so far, this studio is fantastic. I used to go to a hot yoga/pilates studio in another state and struggled to find something similar in MA. This place is IT! You get the zen of yoga along with the challenge of Pilates. Plus the Buti-yoga classes which are just a blast. All the instructors are fantastic, I particularly love Erin. The price is fair for what you get for your membership. The space is clean and well organized. It’s not gimmicky and they don’t try to sell you things. If you’re looking for a place to just enjoy fitness and you’re a class girly like me, you should check this place out !

After 20 years of bodybuilding, some lower back tightness and severe hamstring tightness began to hinder my abilities and job performance. In an effort to heal my ailments by committing to working on them in the same way I had worked on my muscle building, while finding a new challenge out of my element, I began going to weekly Pilates and Yoga classes. After 5 months of 3 days a week, I have lost 21lb of fat and walk around pain free. I am a new comer to Hot Yoga Auburn, while I’ve had only minor experience with yoga, my first time in the hot room, was an amazing experience! The instructor encourages everyone to go at their own pace and offers modification suggestions designed to increase your strength and balance, while placing the utmost importance on not getting injured. It’s an easy piece even for a beginner and you can rest often if needed. I feel so good after coming out of this class that I cannot wait to try it again. It’s amazing for the body as well as the mind.

I feel like I finally found my space! After COVID started, I quickly gained weight and for the last 3 years have been feeling very negative about my body and body image. I have tried various gyms with fancy equipment, personal coaches, and even a virtual class style workout you can do at home. I don't have the self motivation to go to those gyms or virtual classes. I knew I needed an in-person class, with really supportive and inspirational instructors to get me going again. This is what I found at Hot Yoga Auburn. Really kind people, welcoming community and instructors, and really good workouts (pilates + barre) and Yoga.
I never did Yoga before - and after the first class I was a bit sad that I didn't do all the moves that well. But I came back and felt more comfortable. I was made to feel motivated to come back, and was told that it's ok to be learning something new.
I am so happy I found this place. Thank you Rick, Robin, and Sam. You guys are awesome!

I tried Auburn Hot Yoga for the first time last week. As a plus sized woman who is just starting to finally commit to self-care, I felt very comfortable and welcomed. I don’t write a lot of reviews but this place and Sam the owner in particular deserve to be written about. First off let me say I am a icu nurse and holistic nutrition coach. I know the body in & out and help many people but when my own structure started to fail me last fall my world started to crumble. Medical doctors, chiros and other specialists couldn’t help me. The pain I was in in my back and hip/groin affected all areas of my life. Never having done hot yoga before I stumbled in one night to Sams 6pm class and I wish I could say I was healed! But that’s not how yoga works. Sam taught me that. You do your best on that day and you keep coming and you keep trying and you put in the work. So that’s what I did. The difference in one year my body has made coming to his classes off and on is amazing! No drugs, no physical therapy, no injections, just good old fashion heat and stretching (I don’t go religiously but when I feel off, sad, chilled to the bone or like I over did it at the gym I get my tush in there for a good heated stretch and his wonderful teaching style).
Sam is a wonderful human. He is kind, compassionate, beyond helpful, approachable and his dad joke humor is on point for enthusiasts alike. If you have been on the fence please come and expose yourself to the wonderful community he has built in auburn. You won’t be sorry you did.

I just walked out of a class at this place (6pm yoga class, jan 31st, 2023) and unless you want someone to embarrass you and make inappropriate comments about your race, I would highly recommend finding somewhere else to go.
This was my first experience here so I can’t say the same for everyone who teaches here but this review is specifically for the male teacher named Sam.
I hope he is embarrassed for his behavior and I would never recommend anyone attend a class here.

This place is amazing. I had several injuries that limited my mobility and thought I would always be in some type of pain. However since joining Auburn Hot Yoga and attending buti yoga and the 60 minute Pilates over a year ago, my ailments are starting to fade. My core is much stronger and I’m able to move in ways that I haven’t in 15 years.
More important, the classes have a variety of people (ethnicity, age, gender, and body type), instructors are knowledgeable, and the owner is extremely welcoming.

I have been practicing yoga for many years, and I just love this studio. Sam is an excellent teacher, and the facility is clean and comfortable, as well as being very conveniently located. Sam has lots of different yoga styles available, and has an excellent, experienced teaching staff. I would recommend this studio to any experienced yogis, or anyone trying yoga for the first time.

Started Bikram yoga 17 yrs ago in this studio because of a knee injury I got training for a half marathon. I'll admit after the first class I felt like I hated it , it was really hot and long . However for the first time in over a yr my knee did not hurt so I kept going . A couple months in I was acclimated to the heat and it started going by faster and faster. Here I am 17 yrs later going for the amazing benefit on my body but also for the benefit on my mind. It truly is a "moving meditation" . I also love the changes in the studio over the years but my favorite is still the 90 min 26+2. I really can't say enough good things about it.

Hot Yoga Auburn is my happy place! I have been practicing the 90 minute Hot Yoga for almost 7 years. I feel amazing. I sleep better. I handle stress better. I’ve added several types of classes into my weekly schedule - like hot Pilates and Buti Yoga. This is the most welcoming place to come and be physically active. When you arrive, there is an immediate sense of belonging and family. I can’t say enough about it. Love it love it love it!!

HYA is a gem. I’ve practiced yoga at several dozens of studios, gyms, ashrams, etc and this is my favorite! Sam and each of his teachers are Humble and Authentic; no pretense. The studio is well-maintained, modern and spotless. There is a large diverse community of regular attendees. Besides the “26&2” 90 min hot yoga, there’s a 60 min version, vinyasa buti yoga, periodic offerings include yin and Nidra, and daily Pilates. Classes are available morning, mid-day and evening every day of the week. Regular attendance has eased my spinal issues and eliminated need for pain meds.

My husband has been a member for over a decade! So finally I took the plunge and joined him for an Inferno Hot Pilates class! I was IMMEDIATELY hooked! This class has everything! The overall energy in the room is infectious! “YEA YEA”!! I’ve been taking Inferno Hot Pilates now for a month and I already feel my body becoming stronger and leaner! Highly recommend!

If you have not yet tried the hot Yoga or Pilates please try it!!! It’s amazing how you feel after. I love the Pilates for my body and how I feel after. The yoga is a great combination with the Pilates. The only thing I have to warn you is it becomes addicting and that’s a great thing. The teachers are amazing and they ask us WHY we keep coming back and my why is this has help me and I am soooo thankful I have this in my life. Thank you to all the instructors!

I call this studio Home. I have tried many types of yoga, I would pay for 5 or so classes go for 1 class and never go back. I tried Bikram Yoga in 2013. I loved it. When I first did Yoga I lost about 40 pounds and was happy, but due to life I stopped working out and got busy. October 2018 I went back to seriously practicing, I can say this time I was truly ready for Bikram and Bikram was ready for you. I have transformed internally and externally. My face has such a glow that everyone asks me what they can do to get the glow. I tell them this is what I call the Bikram glow, even I can't replicate it without Bikram Yoga. I have lost 100 pounds and many of my friends cannot wait to come and try it too. This is an amazing place, a true homecoming and friendly place.

I absolutely love coming here. This yoga brings the most challenging workout but you'll leave feeling great about yourself. Never compare yourself to the others in the room. Only compare yourself to where you were last class. Bill brings great energy to the room.

I cannot day enough about it here! For years I have been trying things. Nothing has grabbed my body, mind and soul as it has here. I love the yoga & am in love with the Pilates. But it’s not just the classes it’s the people who teach them, each instructor has there own style and always has you leaving feeling good about yourself! They respect the body has limits and encourages each person to work at their own pace and ability. Not only am I losing weight but I am becoming a better version of myself. Much of what is said here in these classes I take out with me! I am not one who is consistent in the world of physical health until I found hot yoga auburn. They date here and Sam is just incredible, he helps you in and out of class. Truly just a wonderful person, along with everyone else I have met there!

I love Hot Yoga Auburn. Sam (the owner) is the best at what he does. If you have never experienced yoga before, take your first classes with him. He has a very clear method of speaking which helps guide you through the poses. His encouraging yet slightly sarcastic comments are based on how empathetic he feels towards his students feeling like they are going to die by the end of class. This style of yoga can be life changing for those that don't like a traditional gym with free-weights and machines. It is all about using your own body to build strength, endurance and flexibility. You need no special equipment and no prior experience. And you don't even have to be in shape to begin with! You work with your own body, the way it is the day of class, to the best of your ability. The first few classes are awful but they are that way because they need to be. If it was really easy, it wouldn't be worth it. But getting through the first 10 classes is the hard part. After that, you'll see and feel the changes. I totally recommend the 30 day special. Its the best deal to get the first 10 classes you need.

This place is for everyone! There is no better feeling in the world besides life's miracles than auburn bikram yoga. The teachers and students are very strong and supportive family.I would recommend yoga to everyone I love and anybody who wants to fall in love with there self again.
