I started training with Lauren six months before my wedding, and still work with her nearly a year and a half later! Beyond helping me feel strong and motivated before the big event, her workouts have helped me integrate fitness into my day-to-day life. I am a lifelong athlete and have never felt so strong. When I was working through an injury, she incorporated my physical therapy exercises into our training sessions and modified exercises as needed. She also is so fun and easy to talk to—our time in the studio flies by!

I’ve been training with Lauren since Labor Day and only have the most positive things to say. Her program for me is challenging—which is exactly what I wanted—but accomplishable. I have been training at ISF for a year and it’s been an awesome experience. Chloe excels at creating customized programs for her clients and is always ready to pivot or make changes based on your needs in the moment. She’s incredibly friendly and makes the time fly by. I can't say enough good things about Chloe - in addition to great training that takes my chronic injuries into account, she also is really positive and supportive - and really funny (those planks go by a lot faster when Chloe is making me laugh). I have been training with Lauren for six months now, and it's one of the best decisions I have ever made. She is knowledgable about current exercise science, which is important to me. But her approach is just as important to me. Lauren comes from a place of positivity and letting you see what you do well and how strong you really are. She knows how to find just the right balance between encouraging me and knowing when to push me just a little more. I'm so glad I found her!

My goals are to be stronger and leaner post the small children phase of life. I am well on my way to my goals thanks to Inner Strength Fitness. When I lack motivation just seeing Lauren puts me in a mood to work hard. I very much appreciate Lauren and how caring she is with each client. If you are doubting yourself and want to feel more energetic and confident I would recommend popping in for a session just to try. Lauren is an incredible trainer and her space is so inclusive, welcoming, and fun! At my first appointment she performed an assessment of my movement and designed a program specific to my goals. I found Inner Strength Fitness while Googling Gyms Near Me and I found Lauren's Gym. She has been very helpful and attentive to my fitness journey. We've achieved them in the months that I trained with her. I highly recommend her to anyone and my peers. The only reason why I had to stop was because of family stuff that I'm dealing and I moved away from Somerville.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Lauren, a personal trainer and nutritionist, who inspired me and my fiancé to achieve our goal of running our first 5k. From the start, Lauren was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable, not only in terms of training but also in nutrition. She tailored our training plan to our needs and goals, taking into account our starting fitness levels and our individual goals.
Lauren's training sessions were challenging yet enjoyable, she pushed us to work harder but also made sure we were comfortable with the progress. She was always available to answer any questions we had and provided us with valuable advice on how to improve our fitness.
What impressed us the most about Lauren was her ability to combine training with nutrition. She provided us with a nutrition plan that was tailored to our needs and goals, and she helped us understand the importance of fueling our bodies properly. This made a good difference to our progress.
We couldn't have done it without her guidance, support and encouragement. Lauren is an excellent trainer and a great motivator. She truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to help them reach their goals. Thanks to her, my fiancé and I have discovered a new love for running!

Lauren at IFS is an amazing trainer. Me and my wife trained with her consistently for about two months (around 12 sessions),
and we saw positive improvements right away.
Even after six months of physical therapy, my wife's knee that had undergone ACL surgery two years prior never regained
its strength. My wife was able to perform many knee related exercises that she never believed she would be able to in just 4 sessions with Lauren.
I too noticed a shift in my physical stamina and believed my body was becoming more flexible day by day.
In two months, we both improved from holding a plank for 20 seconds to a 60-second hold (with 15 pounds bag on our back).
Her workout schedules were tailored to our needs (like which area of body do you want more attention on), but overall, it was a full-body workout.
We had many questions and doubts about the workouts, some of which were stupid, and Lauren was open to them all.
She is really knowledgeable and would go out of her way to ensure that we are performing an exercise in the proper body form.
She is incredibly accommodating and was willing to adjust her schedule to fit ours.
Her dog Franny added even more charm to her adorable little studio. Overall, working with Lauren was a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in strength training.
Tip - If you perform her at-home routine, you will begin to see results far quickly.

Lauren at ISF has been amazing. I hadn't worked out in over 2 years because of a chronic illness and had so much anxiety about what to do/ where to start/ what my body was capable of. Lauren and I have been working together since 2018. From the beginning, I was impressed with her knowledge and her ease of communicating all that she knows. She asked me about back pain I was having and had many different ways to modify exercises for me.
Over time, I have been surprised by how strong I have become. I see so many benefits of strength training. I was excited to work with Lauren more leading up to my wedding recently. She has helped me reach my goals and I’m really happy with my progress. I would strongly recommend her!
Lauren is also smart, warm, and fun to be around. She also has a sweet dog, Franny, who is fun to visit with at the studio.

I’ve been training with Lauren almost a year, 2x per week, and she’s fantastic! I have trouble getting myself to go to the gym, so it’s not worth it for me to pay for a gym membership as well as personal training. We rotate through different workout sets so it’s never boring. I even made my husband come work out with her.

I have been training with Lauren for over 2 years now and I cannot highly recommend her enough. She helped me set reasonable goals and I never feel pressured to do more than my body is capable of. My workouts are always challenging but never in an overwhelming way. I feel so much stronger and am noticeably healthier since I started training with Lauren.
