In one word, Chris is amazing. Working one-on-one in her beautiful studio has greatly improved my strength and balance. Breathing through her curated exercises on the reformer, barrel, chair, and mat is a focused hour from which I leave satisfied and uplifted. Moreover, her deep knowledge of the body connects with my own curiosity of anatomy and physiology and I find myself able to use the small muscles I didn’t even know I had! I pass several Pilates studios on my way to Inspire Pilates, but Chris’s expertise and personal attention is more than worth the extra mileage.

Chris has been a wonderful support to our health journeys this year. Not only is she incredibly warm and encouraging, but she’s also amazing at taking us through the basics of Pilates while teaching us skills & tools we can take into our everyday lives. She has been patient with us newcomers (my daughter and myself) and gone at the pace necessary for us to succeed! After working with Chris for eight months, we have noticed a tremendous improvement in our overall mobility as well as a significant decrease in joint pain. Chris has quite honestly changed my life. I started with her 4 months post partum from my second baby (c section) and within weeks I was feeling stronger in my core again. She is immensely knowledgeable of Pilates methodology and of human movement and is fantastically enthusiastic about sharing that knowledge with her clients. She has taught me so much about my own unique body mechanics that I carry with me throughout the day, making me more mindful and stronger. Chris teaches like a physical therapist putting you through a tough workout (and I’m a former powerlifter). My posture has improved, I have no more lower back stiffness upon waking and my pelvic floor strength has vastly improved. Cannot recommend her enough. If you are debating taking a class with her, just go.

Soon after surgery for a torn ACL I started working with Chris. She has been excellent at identifying the specific areas of weakness that contributed to my injury and designing our sessions to correct them. The results have been amazing. Pilates with Chris exceeded all expectations I had going into it. I started doing weekly classes mainly to switch up my exercise routine, but ended up getting much more than that out of it.

Chris is insanely knowledgeable and every class is a joy to go to. Since i’ve been going, my flexibility and mobility in my back and shoulders have increased significantly and my core strength has improved.

If you’re curious at all about Pilates, I would highly recommend giving Chris a shot!

A neighbor raved about Chris Campbell, owner of Inspire Pilates. It took me a year, but I finally reached out and set up some introductory sessions. I was so impressed that I've been going once a week for almost four months now and plan to continue to do so. Chris is not only a highly qualified (Nationally Certified) Pilates teacher who has an impressive array of equipment set up in her studio, she also exudes enthusiasm, listens carefully, has an astute eye for what my body needs, and supports me in my efforts. I am a 74 year old with scoliosis and osteoporosis. Since I am fortunate to not be in pain or injured currently, Chris focuses on preventive alignment and strengthening work. She challenges me to do more than I imagine I'm capable of. I am filled with gratitute for Chris Campbell of Inspire Pilates. Give her a try even if you are skeptical.

Chris is an exceptional instructor and has helped me recover from a herniated disc. I had limited mobility for 12 weeks and Chris taught me various movements to improve my strength and mobility, as well as build my confidence in my ability to move. I have been a Pilates student for the past 12 years at various studios. I would rush through my workouts, and was always in discomfort! Then I met Chris who truly inspired me, showed me how to take my time, and move my body slowly, and with rhythm, and how to move without pain! Highly recommend Inspire Pilates Studio!!! Chris is very professional, knowledgeable, and patient. I had zero experience with pilates, but I learned and so enjoyed pilates since the first class with Chris! I had a pretty bad sleep issue, expected Tuesday night when I usually have class on that day. My muscles got fully relaxed and stretched. It is a kind of energy from my own body. I came to Inspire Pilates completely new to the practice, as someone who just didn't connect with barre, yoga, and spin. I had also irked my lower back from weightlifting and knew I needed help moving correctly. With Chris’ expert, one-on-one instruction, I was able to practice healthy, strength-building movement that benefited my entire body (I haven’t used my heating pad in weeks!). Her teaching style is hands-on and informative—she has an innate ability to translate movements in a way I can easily follow while also modifying to consider where my body is at that day. Her hands-on assists help me flow through movement safely and with the right form, so much so that I find myself applying the same principles at the gym and everyday life. I feel stronger, more flexible, and more familiar with my body. So happy to have finally found a practice and a place that works for me. 10/10 recommend!

Chris is not only incredibly knowledgable about all things pilates, but she is also a talented instructor who tailors sessions to meet your needs and abilities. She teaches classical pilates and has studied/trained extensively. I can't recommend her enough! Her home studio is lovely and her equipment.(reformer, chair, etc.) is fantastic. She also teaches mat pilates.

I have been doing Pilates on and off for about ten years, but have lost ground after breaking my collarbone. Chris has done an incredible job of building my strength and movement from the ground up, getting my body properly aligned and stronger at the same time. She is incredibly well versed in the history and purpose of each movement, and keeps sessions interesting with a mix of routines and equipment. I highly recommend Inspire Pilates!

Can’t say enough about Chris Campbell! I had wrist issues and pain in my body due to over working it at the gym.
