I can't say enough good things about Jenn Weldon and her studio. Working with Jenn over the last 5 months has been both physically and mentally transformative. She is incredibly knowledgeable not only about the art of Pilates but also the intricacies of the human form. I am shocked at how little I knew about my own physiology until I started working with Jenn! She is patient, encouraging and supportive and just lovely to spend time with. Highly, highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend Jenn enough. I just had 3 kids in a span of 4 years and came to her in the worst physical shape of my life. Over the past 6 months of working with her, I have experienced a transformation both physically and mentally. A Masterful Pilates Instructor

I’ve been practicing Pilates with Jenn for over a year now, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is an exceptional instructor, truly dedicated to the art of classical Pilates where form is everything. Jenn’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that every movement is performed correctly, which has completely transformed my understanding of Pilates.

When I started, I struggled with hip pain that had been bothering me for a while. Thanks to the consistent stretching and strengthening exercises Jenn incorporates into our sessions, my hip pain has been significantly relieved. I practice with her about four times a week, and the results have been remarkable—not just physically, but mentally as well. I’ve become noticeably stronger, and I can see the difference in my body. More importantly, Pilates with Jenn has brought me a renewed sense of mental clarity and strength, pulling me out of a dark place I was in when I first began.

Jenn’s passion for Pilates is contagious, and her expertise is evident in every session. Jenn is fabulous. She came highly recommended by someone I really trust, and she completely exceeded expectations. I started working with Jenn in September and was so nervous, but she is so personable and immediately put me at ease. Jenn is superb! Excellent instruction!!!! Hyper aware of correct movement to prevent injury. Welcoming, motivating, challenging, and considerate to all of her students. Plus, she is down to earth, relatable and funny. In just a few weeks with Jenn, I have improved my posture, core strength and balance. Everything I am learning from her in Pilates is helping me in other physical activities like strength training and rowing. Jenn Weldon Pilates is exactly what the town of Hingham (and the entire south shore) needed in the fitness space! Jenn's extensive training and knowledge of the classical Pilates system is evidenced in her attention to detail, and her keen eye for the needs of all her students that walk through the door. SHE'S excited about Pilates which makes her students excited about Pilates! It's a privilege to move here! The studio is equipped with beautiful classical apparatus and the space is bright and welcoming. It's brilliant to see her demonstrate to us how connect how a movement on the tower translates to a movement on the reformer, and vice versa. I can not say enough good things about Jenn as Pilates instructor or as a person. In the ten years I have been her client she has challenged and encouraged me in equal measure- always showing me immense kindness and patience.

Jenn has an almost preternatural way of explaining things so that her clients understand them. For example, knowing that I am a visual person, she always provides an image for me so that I know exactly how I am meant to move. Jenn does an amazing job of tailoring every session to what I need in that moment. Not only physically but mentally as well. If I am stressed from work, Jenn offers a more gentle, restorative session. If I recently picked up a new sport or hobby Jenn will teach me techniques to prevent injury. She knows how to modify each move to meet my abilities, needs, and skill level.

I started my journey with Jenn Weldon Pilates & Fitness with online classes. The ability to exercise from home really is a gift. Every movement or exercise is carefully taught with detailed explanations of which muscles are being used, easy-to-understand metaphors, and modifications. This truly makes working out from home safe and comfortable. Jenn also makes working out fun and feel obtainable, even when it is challenging. She has great communication skills and is always willing to help. If there’s an injury or a crabby area in the body, she will find a way to support and help even in a group class or setting. Jenn makes every workout feel personalized. It is clear that she puts in the time and effort to prepare for sessions, private and group. I have also had some private in-studio sessions. Jenn’s studio space is inviting, clean, and has many materials and equipment for every need.

Jack of All Training Trades! Have an injury? She will modify her group workouts to ensure a smooth healing process and to allow you to get your workout in! Have a Goal? Tell her about it, she keeps track! Training for a marathon? She has done them and will even do your personal training sessions to focus on your goal for achieving such a feat! She has made virtual accessibility to her classes so easy to use! Her voice is in my head during any workouts I do on my own! She creates a positive, inclusive atmosphere for beginners and continues to make exercising the right kind of tough fun we all need in a workout! Her mindset and outlook on health and wellness are magical invisible traits that she visibly puts out there to keep her clients on track! I wish I had more time to offer myself to link to Jenn!
