I’ve loved my time here at Jet with all of the coaches! I’ve been training for 8 months now, working on strength training and working through a number of injuries. I’ve been able to build muscle, become more confident with weight training and become completely pain free during my work outs! I’ve also started working in the powerhouse Pilates program and love the balance it brings to my strength training. The program has helped me become more mobile, flexible, and aware of my body.

JET, and specifically my trainer Dani, have helped me get to a place where my vision of myself finally matches the outside. Coming off a major hip surgery, as well as a historically messy relationship with exercise and food, JET and Dani have helped me recognize myself once again. Physically, I am in better shape than when I was 20, but the major change is mental- Dani has helped me re-imagine my relationship with exercise and food as tools to increase your longevity and function to live a long, health life. Dani’s attention to minute details of form have been invaluable to me, coming from a long history of injury, chronic pain, and eventual surgery. I have also found a sense of womanhood with Dani and genuine community with everyone- every trainer is personable and committed, greeting you by name and cheering you on during your sessions. They’re also legitimately cool and funny. The facilities are high-end and spotless, drowning in natural light, with convenient locations. I couldn’t recommend giving yourself this gift and joining the JET fam any more! Thank you Dani and JET! 🫶

I have been a member of JET Boston for a couple of years and really enjoy the team of coaches and the friendly atmosphere. Last February, I started Powerhouse Pilates with Lila, and I wish I had started it sooner! I always wanted to try it but was worried that it would be too challenging for me. This wasn’t the case! Lila is an outstanding coach, who breaks down the exercises so that I can understand how to do them correctly. She is always checking in with me during the session to make sure I’m not experiencing any pain. I really like how Lila tailors the exercises to my unique physiology and will make adjustments to the exercises if things are not going smoothly. Furthermore, she really challenges me each session to push my limit; she knows when I’m cruising and will raise it a notch. I have seen such an amazing improvement in my strength and conditioning, and I really feel good about my progress and my overall health. Lila also pushed me to think more about my diet and increasing my protein intake. I used to skip the monthly InBody Assessments because I didn’t think I would make any improvements. Now I look forward to seeing how things have changed (or not changed and that is okay). Either way, I’m more conscientious about building a healthier lifestyle. If you are interested in trying Powerhouse Pilates, I highly recommend Lila, who is not only a fantastic coach but also a really nice person.

I had the pleasure of working with Ari as my personal trainer in the past three months leading up to my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with my results. I worked with Osman at the South End site for 6 months from last October through this March. I had a wonderful experience with him -- so much so that I intend to sign up again soon. I am an older man who has never done anything like this before and Osman hit a really effective combination of encouraging me to push myself while respecting some of my physical limitations. I felt pushed in a positive way, and I feel like it worked really well for me. In addition everyone else on the team was really friendly, positive, and encouraging!

I've been training at JET for a year and a half now and I can't say enough good things about my experience. First of all, Shubha is AMAZING. She just knows her stuff and has helped me to become stronger and more aware of my body. I love how Powerhouse Pilates allows me to focus on building strength AND flexibility. Plus she's just a fantastic person - kind, funny and caring. I've never been someone who enjoys working out, ever, but I find myself looking forward to our sessions and getting up twice a week to work out at 6 AM. But I think the best part of JET is the sense of community they foster. From the minute you walk in the door you feel welcomed. It's just a great vibe. The gym/personal training experience can feel very transactional, but I always leave JET feeling like I just hung out with some friends and the workout flies by. I can't recommend them enough!

I’m in my fourth month at Jet after a recommendation from a friend and cannot say enough good things about my experience! I do powerhouse pilates & strength with Lila, and actually look forward to my sessions. When I started at Jet I was not consistently working out or eating well, but they have helped me to change my lifestyle in a sustainable way.

This review is long over due. But I was a member for about 4months and I can’t believe how transformational my time at JET was. It helped me physically & mentally. It was challenging but rewarding. I worked with Joey and I told him my goals during our consultation. He was so attentive, funny, knowledgeable. He pushed me & was supportive. I never thought I’d enjoy working out. The last 6 months at JET has consisted of 2 Flight programs and 1:1 boxing sessions. A bit ambitious but definitely worth it considering how far I’ve come with the guidance of coaches like Issam and Kay AND the MWF@6 crew. I feel stronger (physically and mentally) and gained some great friends.

I can’t recommend JET Boston enough. They have managed to create such a special and close community at a time when most people are feeling more distant than ever. Shuba is a very talented personal trainer and in just a few months totally changed the way I view my body - not just because of the great workouts but also by holding the space for me to consistently show up as I was on a given day and meeting me where I was at. It it corny to say but they really do put the “personal” in “personal training”.

I started at JET when I needed some consistency in my workout routine. My goal was to gain muscle and feel more confident in the gym and I definitely achieved that. April was great about creating custom programs that helped develop skills and technique and then advancing to heavier weights and more challenging movement. I’m so impressed with my progress over the course of a year. The entire staff is so friendly and encouraging, and facility and equipment are fantastic, all making for a great experience!

Came here to mix up my workout while I had a month off work. This place is perfect for those looking to get into a routine and want to put some time to it. Only coming for a month was not the ideal impedance match; however, working with Joey through clear communication, we really pulled through. Highly recommended, even if you aren't in the same boat as many others here.

Very friendly environment for people starting training at different levels. They focus on a mix of balance, strength, and anything else that helps you meet your goals. The trainers are all awesome and the gym is super clean (they have you remove your shoes when you enter). It’s personal training in Boston, so it’s not cheap but it’s similar to rates of other places around, and absolutely worth it.

I have been going to J.E.T. for almost a year and the results I have seen in that time span have been incredible! Going in and regularly meeting with my trainer has helped me set up a routine that I never would have stuck with on my own. I learned how to effectively exercise in the gym by myself as well as the importance of what I’m putting into my body. I've having the best time training at Janey Elite Training (J.E.T.)! Geoff, Carla, Bryan and the rest of the trainers are superb at what they do - and importantly, they create a very friendly and welcoming environment at their gym. The small group workouts are excellent (coaching on proper technique, great range of equipment, mostly full body workouts), and the InBody Body Composition Analyzer available at their gym for a small fee is a great tool to monitor your fitness progress. Highly highly recommend this gym - so glad I found this place! 10/10

I love the whole team at JET! Geoff, Carla, April, Shubha, Bryan are all great. I highly recommend trying them out if you want solid workouts and results with people who know what they're doing. I'm not a natural fitness person, and I have little to no coordination, (nor memory for how to do exercises...)... but I've felt totally comfortable here, and have had a lot of fun! I have been going to J.E.T for the past few months and I highly recommend for ANYONE looking to achieve their fitness goals. I joined to kickstart trying to regain confidence in the gym and to start prioritizing my health. April is so knowledgeable and understanding, she not only helped me work with past injuries but her patience with me pushed me to actually commit, not just go through the motions. She is great at holding you accountable in a nonjudgmental, healthy way which is so refreshing. I had imagined sticking with it only for a couple of months but as I have learned and progressed so have the workouts and exercises. How J.E.T tailors fitness / nutrition goals to my individual needs, along with the resources they provide, has not only made me want to commit to a lifestyle change but has also made me want to set fitness goals, which is definitely a first! I'm so happy I finally found a personal trainer and gym (everyone is so positive and encouraging) where I actually look forward to going in and working out!

J.E.T. was such a transformative experience for me. I highly recommend their trainer April Davison, she’s the best trainer I’ve ever had. She knows when to push you and when you need a break; even on my worse days she helped me get through a workout and she’d be just as proud of me on those days than on my best days. I really liked April because not only did she encourage me to become healthy and fit, but she never judged me for whatever shape I was in and helped me to accept my body. She always hyped me up about the progress I was making.
I think the best part of this experience was the knowledge I gained about proper lifting form and nutrition that I had no idea about previously. The internet is full of weight-loss jargon, but J.E.T.’s programs are based in science and they were always able to clear up “myths” I’d heard about losing weight. And most of those myths were in fact myths. I will carry that knowledge with me forever.
It was such a hard journey at first, but I really saw results at the end of my time here. It really is a lifestyle if you want to lose weight so please don’t expect J.E.T. to be a miracle solution: if you’re willing to put in the time and work and commit to them then you will see results. If not, that’s on you.

I very rarely worked out, so I had very little knowledge in muscle groups, how things worked, proper forms, etc. In fact, I was always shy when trying to go to the gym in front of the more "seasoned" athletes. I was hesitant to start as I wasn't quite sure that dedicating so much time to working out and trying to balance it with the ungodly amount of work I do was manageable.
From the start Geoff was communicative and patient, guiding me through all the proper steps, set up a proper program, and would always be willing to answer any questions that I had. The smaller studio also created a very nice and charming atmosphere. I learned to push myself in ways that I did not imagine were possible.
Now I can do my own workouts at home armed with the basic knowledge and confidence in the foundations of exercise. I'm very glad to have started my journey with JET, as it has completely changed my life, not just in physical strength, but mental health and positivity overall.

My husband and I took private yoga lessons from Carla while we were in town. She explained everything clearly and took the time to answer all our questions, rather than just rushing us through a flow. Absolutely loved working with Geoff and JET Boston! I was always a runner, and had never lifted weights out of fear I would embarrass myself in front of the seasoned gym vets. When I did lift weights, they had no structure. JET Boston did an amazing job at teaching proper form, and slowly working your way up to the heavier weights and exercises that everyone wants to do.
I was never a natural athlete, but I paid my dues in sweat, concentration, and consistency. When you have those, results always follow.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience working with Geoff over the last few months. From the get-go, it has been clear that he's tremendously knowledgeable and able to cater workout routines to practically any situation. As someone who was used to working out, I just needed to get back into a regular routine after some time off. He helped me get back to basics from the beginning and within a few weeks, I had already noticed major gains in strength and losses in weight & body fat. The space is perfect for small group settings & 1 on 1 sessions and Geoff also has done a great job of checking in to keep me motivated in between sessions. I kind of stumbled upon Geoff accidentally on social media and I can’t be happier that I did. I already had some goals in mind for my health and well-being but felt lost and confused about how to reach them. In short, for me, I wanted to gain lean weight, not lose weight. I already knew I had to work out more and lift, but I never felt like I had the energy or desire to be consistent enough for real results. I also lacked the confidence needed to go to the gym on my own.
After the in-person consultation, Geoff was able to take everything I told him about my current lifestyle and eating habits, and give it back to me in a way that was organized and easy to understand. That laid the groundwork for a plan we created together to help me reach my health goals. I decided to sign up for 2 workouts per week at Janey Elite Training. On top of that, Geoff scheduled 4 other workouts per week for me to do on my own. The plan duration was for 4 months.
Geoff was my coach in every sense of the word. He made sure I understood what the workout plan consisted of, he consistently checked in with me and motivated me, and he enabled me to really pay attention to my body and how it reacted to my new regiment. Geoff ensured I was equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to succeed, especially on the days when I thought about scrapping the plan. And Janey Elite Training came with an app that tracked my progress!
Geoff really got to know my strengths and weaknesses and subsequently personalized the workouts. He not only taught me several lessons about working out, but also about healthy eating, meal-planning, and injury prevention... Knowledge I will certainly carry with me forever. Thanks to Geoff at Janey Elite Training, I am now on solid ground and off to a great start toward reaching my health goals!!

I've been working out with Geoff and Carla for a few years now. Each workout leaves me invigorated. I have some previous injuries but Geoff is able to modify all the workouts so I still somehow get a full body workout no matter what I have going on. If you are looking for a great workout that consistently pushes you to your limit than search no more. Every week I am surprised with a challenging workout and leave feeling amazing. The workouts are intense but the atmosphere is fun and energetic that you forget that you’re heart is beating out of Chest.
