Kikfit Training is a Private full service fitness education center. We specialize in Expert Personal Training Programs, Zoom Group Fitness Classes, Healthy Eating habits, Meditation, Personal Defense and overall wellness. We have been successfully training men and women of all ages for over 30 years! We offer a team supported, fun and safe environment for you to create the best version of yourself!

Finally found a professional trainer that truly
PERSONALIZED a fitness plan! The treatment my son received absolutely did not come from a template. Coach Derek took the time to learn what his needs were and how he could reach his fitness goals. My son is in early 20s and has moderate ASD. Learning new skills and changing routine is difficult. He has been trying to get stronger, healthier and eliminate brain fog. We have tried some training thru traditional gyms and it was not working because it was just commercial fitness. What he really needed is someone with the patience and expertise to individualize a plan that can actually teach you how to use body resistance properly and made it enjoyable. In the past few months, my son has learned meditation techniques, stretching and strength training all while coach Derek has given him positive motivation. My son loves Star Wars and Coach Derek encouraged him to reach his goals by creating a "Jedi Academy" strategy so that he is always working towards getting to the next level. He has given him the tools to have better overall nutrition on top of the physical fitness and I truly feel like Coach Derek offers a service far beyond personal training. He is giving him mentorship and tools to reach long term goals over his lifetime. I really do wish we were blessed with this years ago, but I look forward to working with Coach Derek for many to come. I have recommended him already and will recommended him to anyone looking for a talented professional that will honor you as a client and give you 100%.

My 16 year-old-granddaughter and I recently completed a six-session self-defense course with Coach Derek. He is very professional, kind, and patient. We learned several basic defensive techniques and gained useful tips about situational awareness and keeping ourselves safe. Thank you Coach.

I spent 6 workout sessions over 3 weeks while on vacation in Marion. He taught me, most of all, the importance of stretching. I know this sounds a bit elementary --- until you hold a stretch for 60 to 90 seconds, as he instructed. The stretch seems like a lifetime!!
Of course, he teaches a full repotrie of skills that you'll find beneficial to your overall health.

My focus now is Quality of life. I’ve known Derek for over 20 years. First time I worked with Derek I lost 40 pounds and got in really good shape. Life got in the way, stopped working with Derek for a number of years. Kept most of the weight off from things I learned from Derek but wasn’t doing well physically or mentally concerning my well being. A year ago I realized I needed help and a push, got back working with Derek. Live in Florida 6 months a year, workout remote with Derek. The continuity is what I need. I now look and feel great. Derek makes it easy and convenient. Learned my lesson, I’m on a great path and expect only good things moving forward. Thanks Derek.

Kikfit definitely works you hard, intense with exercises and workout plans specific to your needs. Derek does an excellent job explaining the routines and his plan for your time. He is incredible in accessing your personal needs, understanding your body areas for improvement and tailors a workout directly to target your areas of concern! One of the best workouts! Personal training with Derek is as good as it gets. This is not your average personal trainer meeting you at the gym and taking you through a workout around hundreds of other people in the building. Unlike other gyms, Derek's gym is his own. In a true one-on-one setting, Derek expertly tailors his workouts to target your specific goals. Not only are these workouts rewarding in their results, but you can tell Derek truly cares about each one of his clients. Coach Derek has been my personal trainer for over 3 months. He's always upbeat and inspirational. I particularly like how he fits the workout to my interests and skills and keeps it new every session. He's extremely well-trained, and creates a feeling of immediate trust. He's challenging but encouraging, a great combination. I've lost weight, toned muscle and feel stronger than I have in quite some time. It's been the best thing I've done for myself in years. Kikfit is a unique workout that makes you want to work hard and stay motivated. Coach Derek is very knowledgeable and encouraging about all of the different aspects in the class (kickboxing, cross-fit, resistance bands, stretching, etc.). He creates a very welcoming environment and has a great dance playlist! I like that the class is offered three times a week and each session is similar with slight changes on the different days. I appreciate that everything but the yoga mat is provided to use so you can participate in each part of the class. It is one of the best fitness classes I have ever been too!!!

I have been taking personal training classes from Derek now for about 4 months. I feel great and have seen significant progress in that short time period. If you can commit to getting in shape and improving your overall health then Derek is certainly the coach to hire! He has each session planned out and tailored to your individual goals.
