I enjoyed the club when joined two years go, but condition changed (price boost without big service upgrade). Also recently noticed inconsistent enforcement of pool lane-sharing rules. When I reached out to management for clarification, I never received a response. It’s disappointing, as clear and consistent communication would help all members know what to expect and make better use of the facilities (No one deserved waiting for 1h).

Standing here waiting for a rack, because the “Alpha” training class is using 6 of them at peak hours to do banded lateral raise and dumbbell curls. The hours rotate every day of the week, so you can’t even plan around it
Edit:
"Dear Brett,
It’s been a privilege to support your health and wellness here at Life Time.
As part of our ongoing commitment to a premium membership experience, effective December 1, 2025, your monthly dues will change from $359 to $409 (plus tax, if applicable).
We look forward to continuing to help you get the most out of your experience with us. Your continued commitment to Life Time is truly appreciated."

For how much more expensive this Lifetime is compared to others in the area, it’s honestly disappointing how much they discourage using the café/lounge areas for any kind of work or relaxation. All of the outlets are covered up, which means you can’t charge a laptop or even your phone anywhere outside of their new paid “business area.”
It really feels like they’re pushing members to pay extra for something that used to be a basic amenity. So if you’re hoping to crack open your laptop or get some work done between classes, definitely keep that in mind.
They also enforce “30 minute working periods” and ask you to leave the cafe/lounging spaces of the club. They offer one free work access after they tell you.
Also, this location is noticeably smaller than others and doesn’t have a cold plunge pool — which makes the higher price tag even harder to justify.

The management at this Lifetime is terrible — they do nothing but pass the blame, treat members rudely, and offer zero help. Everything here moves at a snail’s pace.

Wow, where to start with this. When we originally joined with my two kids, one of the "managers" of the swim department called us to say we had free swim lessons that we could use before committing to a monthly charge for swim lessons. So, we did it (why not) and ended up cancelling before the 3rd and final "free" lesson because it just really wasn't worth it. I walked over the the front desk in the indoor pool and asked the girl sitting there "who do I talk to about cancelling?" She responded with "Oh, let me get them." I had a full blow conversation with a man (short reddish hair) about cancelling and that I just didn't think it was worth it. He was asking for feedback and I gave it to him. Last thing he said to me was "No worries, I'll take care of it." Come to find out that they've been charging us for swim lessons that we have not shown up to once over the course of about 5 months. When I spoke to someone named Mindy Meier, and explained the situation, she said "we will not be issuing a refund." How incompetent can you be? To be honest though, it seems like this is LifeTime's policy through and through. Collect money at all costs and deny where you can. Coming from a company who blocks the outlets in the cafe and tries to impose a 30-minute work rule on its guest who already pay hundreds of dollars per month, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. This is literally the type of gym that will slap you across the face, smile at you, and then stick their hand out saying you owe them money.

10 days to fix sauna! Even when its fixed never consistent and quality service. One day you go its 160 degrees another day 180 degrees!! In pickle ball people allowed come and play much higher level than their level which kills all the joy!! In between 5pm - 8pm pools are always reserved for kids class so you cant use!! You need to tell them 30 days ahead of time to freeze your account otherwise they charge!! You can see the ratings reviews that %100 it is not what it looks like only reason including myself why people still go there is there isn’t any other option!!!

Honestly, the gym is great. I enjoy it for the most part.
Everything else there is hot trash from the customer service, to the reliability, to the pricing models. I lost a lot of weight here, and the rating unfortunately is a 1 due to just flat out lying in a recent email I just received.
I signed up in 2023, January, at 238 a clip. Soon, within a year this was moved to 259. I then added a member, making my membership 369, a lower rate to add a singular member to my membership. It has now been raise to 399 within 10 months.
I honestly only wrote this because the content of the email said "As part of our ongoing commitment to a premium membership experience, effective November 1, 2025, your monthly dues will change from $369 to $399"
Can you please enlighten me to what has improved at this place over the last 2.5 years that justifies these increases? I have yet to see any new machines, any improvements to the lockerooms, zero customer service, and if anything- the sauna/steam room have become less reliable. I wish I was exaggerating, all machines are the same- the tvs have never worked on the woodway treadmills, the cleanliness is tepid at best, the customer service is hot trash, and I could keep going. However, I keep going because it is a gym that isn't an absolute warzone.
Please let me know if I am missing something. I am paying 3x inflation on my membership increases and, I don't see a single expansion of services or improvements at the gym that are encompassed within that. I see plenty of things no one wants to pay more to use however, that's great.
These are your words not mine. Frankly, just hit me with the increase next time and dont send me a disingenuous lie. Or, do your part like you say in the email, and Ill keep paying while smiling instead of paying out of pure necessity. Id rather be told "you suck, we dont care, heres your bill" than "we are improving things, heres your bill". One is a lie and the other isnt.

Have been here since it opened in 2018. We were told as founding members that our membership dues would never change. That turned out to be false as they go up once to twice per year. They added this work space for people to join for extra cost and in turn blocked all of the electrical outlets everywhere else in the gym. Im all for capitalism but that is just a bit much. It's a great gym and the unfortunate part is there is nothing that even comes close in the area. So they know they have you.

I am deeply disappointed with Lifetime Burlington due to their lax safety practices with children and the total lack of care from management. Our first incident involved our 6-year-old son nearly drowning during swimming lessons. This was followed by him breaking his arm in the kids' gym while left unattended. Shockingly, little to no care was given to him after these incidents. He was left crying, holding his hand, and being consoled by his 4-year-old little brother.
When we tried to understand what had happened, the management refused to see us. We requested video footage but never received it. Instead, Lifetime was prompt to send their lawyer to talk to us, who never introduced himself as a lawyer.
We subsequently learned that they are not registered to look after children in a childcare facility. Additionally, we found several accounts of similar bad experiences online involving children. Be warned and consider this before trusting them with your child's safety.

Had a family membership for the last few years. It was never a good value to begin with due to the limited amenities compared to some of their other locations. They recently emailed that there would be no rate increase for existing members. Weeks later they emailed saying there will be an increase. They will be adding 100s of new members from the condos they’re building. It will make it even busier and a worse value that it already is.
Update 8/4: Just realized they have now removed the power outlets in the cafe and lounge areas so they can sell workspace memberships. Utmost greed. 0 additional value for members.

If you’re considering joining Lifetime Burlington and plan to use the café or lounge areas to work or relax, read this first.
Recently, Lifetime Burlington blocked all power outlets in their common areas (café, lounge, etc.) and began enforcing a 30-minute time limit for doing any kind of work in these spaces. When questioned, staff claimed this was being implemented “across all Lifetime locations”—but that is simply not true. We personally checked several other clubs, and none had these restrictions.
This move isn’t about creating a better environment—it’s about pressuring members to pay extra for their new and underutilized “coworking” space. It feels like a bait-and-switch, especially coming from a gym that markets itself as a “third place” to relax, recharge, and connect.
Had these restrictions been made clear upfront, I would have seriously reconsidered joining. But to misrepresent the policy as a system-wide change? That’s unacceptable.

Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been a member here for a while, but now they’ve gone too far. They intentionally covered all the electrical outlets in the common areas just to force you to pay extra for their “Extra Fee Room” area if you want to charge your phone, use a laptop, or plug anything in.
This is NOT what people expect from a gym they’re already paying a membership for. It’s greedy, petty, and completely disrespectful to members. It’s not about safety — it’s a cash grab, plain and simple.
We come here to improve our health, not to be nickel-and-dimed for basic access to electricity. Shame on the management for making such an anti-customer decision.

So crowded. If you want to go to the pool on hot days, keep dreaming. It’s oversold and so crowded they stop letting guests into the outdoor pool area on hot days. (That’s if you can even find a parking spot.) For the fees, the experience should be much better.

Highly insulting, rude, non inclusive and insensitive behavior from staff. My son, who is on the spectrum, was physically assaulted while swimming by someone who did not want to share a lane with him. Multiple members came to his and my support, but when I drew immediate attention to the incident with Alec (front desk staff) he completely ignored the issue and in fact berated me for taking a picture of the perpetrator. On another occasion, Alec and one other staff member yelled at me and my wife for 15 minutes straight without listening to anything we wanted to say for being in the pool area with our son, whereas we felt we had to be there to ensure his safety given the previous incident. Their entire management team is constantly on edge, looking to criticize members just to boost their own petty egos, rather than provide a useful service. I was once scolded for having the wrong phone number on my account, and it turned out they had transposed the digits while calling me and the number itself was accurate. Just myriad insults and threats - not what you would expect from a high end, high cost luxury gym where you come to exercise and feel good.

They recently built a work section that they charge hundreds of dollars for and its not even built for daily work because they dont have enough conference rooms or booths, and no one joined so now they decided to BLOCK EVERY ELECTRICAL OUTLET IN THE REST OF THE BUILDING TO FORCE PEOPLE TO PAY FOR THE WORK ROOM TO TAKE A WORK CALL. I pay several hundred dollars a month to go there and to have to pay more to use an outlet in a lounge area is crazy. Definitely cancelling my family plan because of this reason. Used to think this place was great now it’s just another money grubbing business that will make something harder for you and force you to buy something else they have.

I’ve been a member since this location first opened, and over the years, I’ve observed a steady decline in both customer service and overall quality, while prices continue to increase well beyond inflation. The front desk staff seems to be less professional and lacking interpersonal skills. My suggestion to management: Instead of having three people at the front desk who often distract each other from their tasks, consider having one knowledgeable staff member who can properly greet and assist customers. Additionally, specific customer services could be better handled in side offices to avoid crowding the entrance and greeting area. It would also be helpful to lubricate the entrance doors, as they are generally difficult to open.
The pool lanes are almost always full due to ongoing classes, making it nearly impossible for regular members to use them, especially in the afternoons and evenings. Essentially, the pools are unavailable for those of us who work during regular hours.
The cleanliness of this location, including the locker room, pool area, and restrooms, has also significantly declined. If this trend continues, I will likely cancel my membership in the coming months. It's frustrating to see the quality and service diminish while prices keep rising sharply. It's time to look for alternatives.

The locker rooms feel like you’re at the YMCA with the amount of small children running around and taking up changing space. The family locker rooms need to be enforced more. Also some people just leave their towels everywhere and the door for the spa area is always open- making it less relaxing / spa like. For a gym that charges so much for luxury I expect more.

If you enjoy having rates raised twice a year then this might be the club for you.
If you're planning on dropping your kid off make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes before you plan to work out or go to a class. The line is often a nightmare. Additionally the bigger kids are constantly opening the door to the toddler room and there aren't enough people managing to ensure the toddlers can't get out.
The second issue is that amount of TVs they run with their bootcamp ads. There are more than 10 TVs playing an endless 10 second commercial of either their classes or their sponsor, Speedo. So if you're like me and can't work out until late in the evening, good luck getting to watch a game at the gym. They claim the TVs are run by corporate so cannot be changed which seems sort of ridiculous.

This used to be a fantastic institution and location. Recent leadership changes have led to really poor experiences stemming from laziness to discrimination. We have seen showering rooms and facilities closed before the pools are closed leaving multiple families cold outside the rooms waiting for a changing room to become available with only 2-3 of the 8 or 9 unlocked. Staff report that they closed the rooms early because they didn't want to have to clean them again later.
We also experienced discrimination and inequitable application of policy. Nannies who do not use the facilities are allowed to accompany (without membership) unrelated minors who are using the facility. However, new leadership at Life Time starting this year refused to allow a grandparent to accompany their minor grandchild into the facility without paying for membership. Family relations are thus treated worse than hired help, and Life Time was even so bold as to essentially say the parents would have to hire the grandparent as a nanny to get permission. Not only is this ridiculous, it creates questionable discriminatory practices that further extend to situations in which there is a mismatch between the gender of the minor child and their accompanying grandparent or parent.
Life Time talks out of both sides of its mouth and where logic and fairness once reigned, now it is replaced by illogic and greed (they essentially admitted it was all part of a money grab ploy - which is an natural extension from their recent attempts to justify escalating membership prices by doing things like now referring to their locations as "country clubs" instead of "fitness centers"'or "gyms."

Every year Lifetime gets worse. I would recommend looking for other options if you have one. There was a drop in quality and increase in advertising when they went public, and starting this year you can no longer add your children back on to you membership when they are home from school without my membership increasing by $40 every month going forward. Local people are nice, corporate mandates ruin the experience. Very much reminds me of my days at Bally’s total fitness, but that was cheap.

I’ve been a founding member at Lifetime Fitness Burlington and I’m incredibly disappointed with the direction this gym has taken. When I joined, I paid $160 per month, but over the years, the membership fees have steadily increased without providing better services. This year alone, they raised my membership price twice, and now they’re charging $300 a month for one person, with additional fees for using the outdoor pools during the summer.
The gym seems to prioritize squeezing money out of members rather than taking care of them. They constantly change their policies—visitor fees, guest rules, and access conditions seem to change every week, creating unnecessary frustration. The Burlington location is outdated compared to other branches like North Shore, which offers a better experience for a lower cost.
One of the biggest disappointments is the recovery area. Even though it’s supposed to be included in the membership, it’s almost always locked, and you need a reservation in advance to use it—good luck getting one when you actually need it. At North Shore, this area is always open and accessible, which is how it should be.
I expected much better service from a gym that claims to be premium. Unfortunately, Burlington poor management, lack of professionalism, and skyrocketing costs have left me feeling like this place is more about profit than the well-being of its members. They’ve lost sight of the people who helped build their reputation. Very disappointing!
I decided to cancel my membership this is not acceptable anymore.

TLDR: Some lifeguards don’t know where the first aid kits are and even refused to open it when I found one.
I got a medium-sized cut on my toe in the pool locker room (my own fault) and went to the pool reception area to ask for a bandaid. The first lifeguard I talked to pulled out an old unsterile bandaid (the wrapper was half-open) from his fanny pack and I asked him if he can get me a new one… he said he didn’t have any more and he went looking for the first aid kit.
After a couple minutes of him not returning, I stepped over to the other two employees at the reception desk and asked if they had a band-aid or knew where the first aid kit was. They said they also didn’t know… one was a lifeguard and one was a swim instructor. I asked in disbelief what they would do if someone with a more serious injury needed first aid and they dismissedly responded with something like “we usually have more stuff in our fanny packs, sorry”.
It was then when I saw the big CINTAS first aid kit literally mounted on the wall right there, 2 steps away. I pointed to the metal box and said “wait isn’t that it?” And the swim instructor said “hmm I don’t know, we weren’t told about that”. Then I said “okay, but can’t you open that and see if a band-aid is inside?” She replied with a “hmm I don’t think that has what we need, let’s just wait for the other guy to come back.” I was so confused about why she wouldn’t just take 2 steps to open the kit to see if bandaids are there, I started to make up excuses on her behalf (typically I give the benefit of the doubt) like maybe she knows that that first aid kit is unstocked or maybe it’s locked for some reason and she doesn’t have the key, etc. This whole time when I was talking with the swim instructor, the other lifeguard was just standing there listening and staring blankly.
Then a few seconds later the first lifeguard came back with another more experienced lifeguard, who immediately opened that same first aid kit (it was unlocked) and gave me the band-aid I needed.
As I’m writing this review I’m more and more dumbfounded that this had ever occurred and at the unsafe incompetence of these LifeTime employees. Not only did they not know where the first aid kit was, but when I literally pointed it out after seeing it, they refused to open it!
I had a relatively small cut but what if a more serious injury had happened, to me or someone else?
I filed a complaint to the front desk and thankfully they were professional and profusely apologetic, and recorded this event in some book (I hope to be followed up with later). However, I feel that such negligence of this magnitude needs to be publicly reported in the hopes that management will see this and know they have some serious issues that need to be resolved. This is not just an issue of policy (making sure lifeguards know where first aid kits are) but one of culture where the attitude of some of the employees are one of extreme negligence and refusing to do the minimum effort to open a first aid kit.

**Update/Buyer Beware: The lap swimming pool schedule has changed and is completely closed to anyone but swim team every evening from 5-7:30 or 8:30 and many hours on weekend mornings. If you're a working member (or a parent who wants to use the childcare), swimming isn't going to be an option for you.** This could be an amazing gym -- maybe the best gym ever -- if it were a local gym without any attachment to a corporate program. For those needing childcare or who are happy to workout independently, this is a good option. The people who work here are unparalleled as are the facilities. If you’re wanting a community, particularly as it relates to CrossFit style classes, group conditioning, or weight training (esp. if you are a woman), I would look elsewhere to a more local gym. Corporate has gutted that here and otherwise excellent trainers/instructors are so hamstrung by their overlords in Minnesota; AI robots could teach the classes and probably soon will.

Also extended unprofessional behavior by a manager named Alic “That other location lied to you” was not something I expected to hear when rejoining a gym and asking why now being changed when I was a member. As a disabled person trying to do rehab, and the lack of gyms in the area mixed with this gym’s attitude towards its own customers was is unfortunate to say the least. The level of service usually is much better in other locations in Chicago and nyc. This was an unfortunate and lasting experience being talked down to by staff about how a mother lifetime gym lied to me. Have been a member for over a year, and really disappointed with the front desk and their customer service.
A while ago, we brought our daughter and her friend, who was also a Lifetime member, for swim team training without knowing the policy requiring a written agreement from her friend's parents. The front desk guy (Alec) refused to let us in and spoke in a dismissive and impatient manner. We tried explaining the situation since we couldn’t reach her parents at that moment, hoping to still allow both girls to attend the swimming on time. Instead of offering assistance and understanding, he snapped at us in front of our kids and literally yelled: YOU SHOULD HAVE FIGURED IT OUT YOURSELF EARLIER! NOW GO AWAY I’LL HELP THE NEXT CUSTOMER! My wife and I were shocked by how disrespectful and unprofessional he was. He also rudely claimed he was the manager when we requested to speak to someone else.
It has been two months since this happened, and while we have tried to focus on the positive side of this gym, this incident has really ruined it for us. My wife feels uncomfortable and distressed whenever she walks into the gym, and she hasn't come with me for many weeks. I feel our $400/month is a complete waste.

This is a horrible gym everything about it, machines ,people workers, cleanliness and most importantly the absurd pricing nearly $300 a month for the most mediocre machines I have ever seen in my life. If you are thinking about buying a membership never do it.

I went to the Burlington lifetime gym today. Had a friend who was on the waitlist for a while for Burlington location. She hasn’t even got to do a tour yet. I told her she could come with me and be my guest pass. Never even use mine. I arrived It was 5:40 . I was excited to have my friend with me and the woman at the front desk said sorry we don’t allow guest in after 5:30. I asked if she could do the tour or if an exception could be made. She simply said no. The manager at the front looked at us and looked away. It was just a lack of hospitality and regard for how much we do pay to attend that gym. I wonder if I had called beforehand if the woman would’ve treated me different or was it because we were the only two brown people at the door. We left disappointed. I love lifetime, but it was probably the worst experience I’ve had there.

Very disappointed with this gym. Scheduled a tour online since “they won’t let you sign up right away,”using the marketing strategy, we are not adding members right now but we ll reach out when it becomes available. Hence in 24 hrs received an email. “Come tour the gym a spot opened up for you”. A friend suggested she d use her guest pass to show me the gym and try the amenities after work. She called to confirm she could. I agreed; When we arrived, parking lot is a disaster, front desk was extremely rude, cut and dry said she could not use her pass after 5pm. This should have been communicated when she called, Also when you work with the public specially with wellness and when you are at the front desk, You need to have tact and communication skills since that’s Your only job. Extremely disappointing and such an awesome first impression.

Have had a great experience both with the amenities and all the staff so far.
Edit: had a negative experience finally--the pool hours are listed as starting at 4am but the family section doesn't open until 10. Went there to find it closed. Those hours aren't posted anywhere, and the guard said they have been the same for 3 years--not helpful for new members!
Edit2: A year after this review I found myself trying to remember what the hours were again and this note was the only way for me to find it. I tried calling the facility, but just got answering machines. So lowering the review again due to inaction on this feedback.

I joined this club when it opened. It was amazing. You could actually take advantage of all the amenities you pay a lot of money to have access to. Over the last year, it has become flooded with people. You can’t find a parking spot even at 7 PM on a Monday night. They also limit when you can bring guests. It’s not about the money. It’s really about providing a great experience which they do not anymore. The amenities are great and the concept is great, but do all of your customers a favor and cap your membership at a level where you’re going to still provide a great experience. They have become greedy. I just canceled because of this entirely. It’s really unfortunate what this club has turned into.

I used to know the front desk guy, he’s very nice and kind. But today I came and the front desk guy is another one who claimed to be the manager, he said we cannot come since we’ve moved to the metro facility. But what’s ridiculous is we checked with customer service before we come and customer service told us we can still use the Burlington facility. The manager seems inpatient, he finally let us in, but I feel uncomfortable since he kept us at the front desk for 5 -10
minutes and didn’t seem to be sorry about the confusion caused by Lifetime employees.
We paid 300+ per month, I’m expecting some professional service, instead of customer service doesn’t know what they’re doing and front guy kept customers waiting at the door with the manner nobody would appreciate.
Btw this place is getting sketchy now, compared to when I first came about 2 years ago.

The gym itself is well kept, good location and has a great spacious outdoor pool hence the rating. It’s not more because of the rude staff, including blond manager? and life cafe staff (all teenagers). If people are unhappy with their jobs please find something that better suits you. The customers can see it and it’s reflective of the entire establishment.
Update 2024: they’ve reduced guest hours and the front staff is incredibly rude. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Great place with a ton of amenities,
Issues:
1. It’s overcrowded because only good gym in area. I don’t mind this except it causes employees to run it DMV-style. For the high price feels like they are doing you a favor allowing you to access it at all. Random rules for liability enforced without common sense or even an apology.
2. Free razors they provide are so low quality you have to use 5 of them to complete a shave, inevitably cut yourself
3. Guest hours policy almost insulting. Rejected my 70 yo mother visiting from out of town even though I have 2 guest passes per month. Why? Because on Saturdays guests are now only allowed after 1 or something…
All in all, worth the money if you love it work nearby… but I wish there was a competitor in the area or they acted like they had one.

Founding member here started around 2018-2019, started with a family plan and was told my rate wouldn’t be going up, turned out to be a lie, I’ve had my membership increased about 4-5 times now, last time being a 60$/month increase, they also got ridiculous rules for guest policies and hours; for the price you pay one would expect them to at least have a electric generator in case of power outages, but no, every time there’s an power outage you’ll have to wait for it to pass for them to be able to open, equipment breaks and it takes forever to be fixed, not to mention how over crowded it is, at times you will not find even a parking spot, just horrible and with the new apartment complex opening across the parking lot that comes with full gym membership and access to the pool, things will get even more chaotic, they keep increasing old members prices to get rid of them so they can get new members for higher rates, overall this is a very greedy company that doesn’t care much about it’s members and their concerns, will be canceling my membership soon as this place just keeps getting worse and worse, very disappointing experience unfortunately, if you're serious about working out this is definitely NOT the gym for you.

Have been a member of lifetime for about 3-4years since living in NYC before. Transferred to MA due to work travel and had been coming to this location mostly. When I first came here about 1year ago everything was okay, but then it kept getting worst and worst until I finally decided to write a review as I normally don't like to give a bad review right away. I always give them a chance to improve.... but looks like nothing has been done and they still try to keep increasing rates
(while the locker-room are kinda dirty, Shower's are gross not much cleaning from staff, short staff issues, Manager's don't seem like they care to try to improve what's going on) ? To me it just seems like they ignore the problem due to their staffing issues, which i don't really understand?
This is a very questionable place now. I have spoken with other member's in this facility as they agreed with me, so I'm canceling my membership asap, and going somewhere else until they fix this problem. It's sad to see alot of fellow coworker being member's for awhile leave due to the poor management team at this location.

I am very disappointed in LifeTime Burlington.
Have been a member for a year. As a premium gym with a premium price I would expect the standards of customer service to be higher. I have been disrespected by Jenn Foley , who proudly presents her as a MANAGER. I am a regular cycler and I know and love all the cycle instructors. On July 22nd, 2023 she appeared on the schedule as Sub for AMP cycle class. I felt like I am in Aurora Cycle class instead of AMP CYCLE. The music was awful, her energy was terrible and I was bored in that cycle class which never happened to me in the past. I took my phone to respond to a text and Jenn Foley came to me, and told me to step out of the class to text and pointed the door …………… in front of everyone in the cycle studio. I left the class immediately, went to one of the managers to tell about the incident, to share how rudely I was treated. I received a call from this instructor Jenn , who told me that she did the right thing pointing the door, telling me to step out to text , instead of apologizing for ruining my class, my workout and my Saturday. She also told me , that she hopes not to see me in any of her classes in the future and to use the back bikes if i am going to be texting. At the end she said LET’S AGREE TO DISAGREE TO END THIS. There in no signage ,WHATSOEVER , in any of the studios where is said NO TEXTING . I am going to go to higher ups and talk and post about this unethical behavior to a customer, until I hear an apology from the staff on behalf of this MANAGER . There should be absolutely no situation in which an employee treats a customer this way.

Zero star if I could!!!
Especially when you have kids. In the kids academy, they left infant alone in the infant room with no one attended. When I picked up my baby, she was left alone on the ground crying really really hard, no one was taking care of her, her face is all red with scratches behind ear, very very sacred and desperated. And, the employee is preventing us going inside until they sent people to the infant room. I saw it in person that my baby was alone in the infant room, but they were lying and arguing that when we arrived the infant room there were people there…. How ridiculous! Of course that is why you prevent us from going inside. I required to see the video and they rejected. I just want to see what happened to my baby and why she was alone lying on the ground and for how long and they left her alone. This place has serious safety issue, and I will not go again!

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and extreme concern regarding the substandard care provided to our 7-month-old infant at the Kids Academy. Our experience with this facility was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share it with other parents who may be considering enrolling their children here.
When we initially consulted over the phone, we were assured that they provided on-on-one care, where each child would be attentively looked after by a dedicated caregiver. However, upon arriving to drop off our infant, we were shocked to discover that there were only two adults present, responsible for the supervision of 6-7 infants in the room. This blatant misrepresentation of their caregiving capacity was the first red flag.
Despite our reservations, we reluctantly left our child at the facility, hoping that their promises of quality care would still be upheld. Regrettably, our trust was completely shattered when we returned to pick up our baby after approximately 1.5 hours. We were appalled to find her crying on the ground, her nose and eye brows visibly red from prolonged distress. To our utter disbelief, there was no staff member present to attend to her needs, and it seemed as though she had been abandoned and left to suffer.
Furthermore, when we requested permission to enter the infant room, as we had done during drop-off, the staff denied our access. Their refusal to allow us into the room, coupled with their obvious intention to hide the mistreatment our child endured, is completely unacceptable. It demonstrates a complete lack of transparency and accountability on their part.
The negligent behavior displayed by the staff here is both distressing and infuriating. As parents, we entrust our precious children to these facilities with the expectation that they will provide a safe and nurturing environment. However, our experience has revealed a severe breach of that trust and a complete disregard for the well-being of the children in their care.
I strongly urge any parents considering Kids Academy here to reconsider. Our unfortunate encounter highlights serious issues within the establishment's management, supervision, and ethical standards. The lack of adequate staff-to-child ratios and the callousness exhibited towards our infant's distress are indicative of systemic failures within the facility.
It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to other parents and prompts the necessary action to rectify the situation at Kids Academy. No child should ever be subjected to such neglect and mistreatment, and it is the responsibility of them to ensure the safety and well-being of the children under their care.
I implore the management of Life Time Kids Academy to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter, take appropriate disciplinary action against the staff involved, and implement substantial changes to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Our children deserve better, and it is imperative that we hold childcare facilities acceptable for their actions.

I recently joined Lifetime, overall I am very satisfied. There are several options for structured exercise classes, indoor pools were well thought out, plenty of cardio machines available.
I signed up with a personal trainer, Lauren and I have had huge success. I have always tried to stay in shape but she has kept me motivated and has safely pushed me to the best physical version of myself in the last 10 years! Best - I haven’t had a single injury, strain, since starting at Lifetime.
One negative, I will say, I wish the locker rooms and bathroom were a bit cleaner. The floors should be maintained throughout the day. The showers in the family locker rooms can get pretty hairy, literally.
It’s also getting extremely busy and parking can be very difficult.

As a gym to lift at I’d give Lifetime zero stars if I could. If you use the cardio equipment or take classes or use the pool it might be just fine, but as a gym for weight training it’s absolutely horrible. You couldn’t pay me enough to train there.
The weight area is an absolute zoo any normal time, especially the evenings. It’s hard to even find parking. Worst of all are the Alpha classes. There are 9 nice squat racks, which should be plenty, if it weren’t for the 5-6 hours most days when Alpha takes most of them. So if you lift at 1PM or 10PM you’re fine, but if you have a job then just forget it. I got to the point where I would do my barbell exercises in my basement and then drive to Lifetime to use the dumbbells and machines to finish my workout. Does that sound like I’m getting my money’s worth?
So if you’re a typical bodybuilder wannabe gym bro please stay at Lifetime with your overpriced smoothies from the cafe, but if you actually want to train you’d be better off using your squat rack in a storage unit because if it gets anymore crowded at Lifetime you’re going to have to start sharing dumbbells.
5/23/23 Addition - Now not only can you not find open gym equipment, you can't even find a parking space. After circling for five minutes I had to follow someone walking to their space like at the mall on Xmas Eve. Plus every time I'm here I see them giving tours to new prospective members, so we're just going to make it even more crowded? Basically they don't care at all if you have a terrible experience here as long they can keep getting membership dues from more and more people.
BTW - I'm not working out here. My kid has swim lessons. You couldn't pay me to work out in this overcrowded cesspool.

My family and I have been members of Life Time Burlington since its inception in 2018. We joined before the club even opened at a rate of $290/month for our family of four. At the time, we thought this price was outrageously high but we were willing to pay it considering all the amenities, particularly the kids academy and outdoor pool. Since I'm a teacher, we have put our membership on hold each winter (for a fee of $15/month) and reactivate each spring. We have done this for the last 5 years. Yesterday, when I went to reactivate, I was told that our new price would be $449 for our family of four. This is a 54.8% increase from 5 years ago! How could the club possibly justify this when the rate of inflation, as insane as it is, is 20% from five years ago? Our salaries are certainly not increasing 55% to allow us to afford this new rate. They are pushing out families that have been loyal to the club for years but can not possibly pay that price. And we were told that the price is still well below market value and we are lucky to have it. It makes me really sad and angry, my kids are super upset since going to Life Time Burlington has been a staple part of our summers. We were told that this hike was due to renovated pickleball and squash courts, neither of which we use. Why not have extra fees for those amenities for people that use them? This club does not care about its members and is only looking to make as much money as possible in whatever way possible. Needless to say, we will sadly be canceling our membership after five years.

I am very disappointed in lifetime. Many of my family members are membership holders in Burlington Massachusetts. However recently we have had issues with the staff there regarding an incident of verbal assault. My parents were verbally assaulted with curses at lifetime gym by a pickle ball staff member and then berated online by the same staff member. I do not feel safe or comfortable in a place that allows staff members to verbally harass a customer in front of other gym members and then continue to harass them online. There should be absolutely no situation in which an employee treats a customer this way. We have tried to seek closure for this through management at LifeTime Burlington but it has been weeks with no resolution. As a premium gym with a premium price I would expect the standards of customer care and safety to be higher.

I've seen how incredible the Denver Life Time tennis facilities are, so I was very excited to try out the squash and pickleball facilities at this Life Time location. I got a day pass with my wife to get a sense of the facilities and to see whether this was a gym we wanted to join.
I understand that facilities are short-staffed these days, so service can't always be as organized as I might like. Nonetheless, in our short 30 minute experience, I was left with the impression that the culture at this Life Time location is exclusive, superior, and elitist.
Some staff members attempted to be helpful, but my experience with the squash pro on staff made me feel like an unwanted outsider. I've been told that the squash courts have pretty good availability, and I think I now understand why.
My encounter with this particular staff member reminded me of scenes in the Titanic movie when crew members prioritize lifeboat seats for 1st-class passengers. Maybe I said something right from the start to offend this person, but I think asking, "Excuse me, would it be possible to make a reservation for a squash court," isn't too triggering. His response was something along the lines of, "You can use the app for that." I mentioned that we were there on the day pass, and he looked like I had delivered some grave news. He told me I had to go downstairs to make a reservation with the front desk. Back downstairs, I was informed that the squash desk is certainly the place to make squash reservations for day-pass holders. I held out hope that perhaps the squash pro was just a new employee, overwhelmed and uncertain about the club's systems. The front desk employee, very friendly and well-intended, tried her best to help us get on the court, but things basically went downhill from there. When we first arrived, there were several courts available, but in the time that it took us to sort things out, there was only one court left: Court 3.
We were about to get on Court 3, when a generous Life Time member stopped us. Thanks to the generosity of this random person, we were warned about the dangers of Court 3. There is a leak in the roof, and the water slowly drips onto the center of Court 3, accumulating just little enough to go unnoticed and quite enough to cause serious injury. No staff, sign, or court closure warned us, but thank you to this kind random soul.
Overall, I appreciate that the staff refunded my day pass, and I appreciated that some of the staff were friendly. However, the experience left me with the impression that this location is not very welcoming to day-pass holders or less-experienced squash players. If you plan to visit, make sure to reserve your court online (you probably want to bring proof of your reservation), be prepared for the possibility of encountering judgment from the squash pro, and *please* avoid Court 3 until the leak is fixed.

My husband and I tried to check out this club and we had an absolutely terrible experience. We were thinking about signing up for memberships, and wanted to try their squash courts before committing. We were told that all of the courts were available, so we paid $50 for the day pass. We went upstairs and the person at the desk by the squash courts told us that we needed a reservation to use the court. He was unwilling to help us make a reservation, even though he had a computer at his desk and knew we were first timers there. My husband went downstairs to ask about the reservation, only to be sent back upstairs to the same desk. After that, the guy at the squash desk then told us that we couldn’t use the courts because my husband didn’t have shoes that had white soles. Despite our explaining that his shoes were tennis shoes that would not mark the courts (which addresses the concern they had with color-soled shoes), the squash desk guy wouldn’t let us play. Finally, after we got the shoe situation resolved, we realized that all of the courts were in fact full, and the only available court had two water leaks on it and therefore unsafe/unusable. We were incredibly frustrated by how unhelpful and unwelcoming every single person was from the start to finish of the ordeal, especially the guy at the squash desk, who actually was a coach. This was one of the most unpleasant experiences we’ve encountered. What a disappointment and waste of time. Needless to say, we won’t be returning or signing up for memberships.

The concierge staff are my favorite thing about this location. They are the friendliest people that I’ve witnessed at any gym. I’ve also had other “luxury” gym memberships such as Equinox and the staff at this particular location definitely are unparalleled. Special thank you for Cameryn for always being well aligned with my zen and being an extremely kind hearted person. I’m happy to continue my membership exclusively because of her.

Great gym. However, it's pricey. The machines are all in go to order. The bathrooms are clean. The kids love the pool. My middle child really enjoyed the kids academy. Front desk staff is able to help with any questions.

I’m not a “gym person” at all and no other facility has gotten me so excited to go work out. Plenty of class varieties, pool/hot tubs are clean. Always see staff actively cleaning locker rooms. Sauna is a game changer for me. Feeling great and happy to invest in my health.

Such a great gym! Yea it’s expensive but if you go everyday I’d say it’s totally worth every penny. Locker rooms smell great and always clean. Pools/spa are wonderful. Gym equipment is just as great. Was debating on joining but totally glad I am a member!

I've been coming here for 2 years. Lifetime offers an indoor and outdoor lap-pool. They have state-of-the-art weight and cable machines, and a cafe that offers healthy yet very tasty food. My suggestion is the "energy bites- trail mix", which are awesome. The men's locker room is always clean and well cared for, not to mention incredibly spacious. They also offer steam rooms, for those of you who like that. And an indoor basketball court, as well.
But the real draw to this gym is the staff. From the front desk attendees to the cafe workers, they are truly wonderful and friendly people. I train with one of the trainers, Sara, who is a very competent and knowledgeable trainer, who has helped me lose 30 pounds and improve my back issues. I would've lost more, but I was struggling with my diet, but thanks to Sara's knowledge and support, I'm back on track. Sara also helped me fix my balance issues. When I first started training with her, I could barely do a lunge without falling over. Now I can balance on one foot while doing exercises with my arms. I'm so happy for the progress! If you want a good trainer, ask for Sara!
I also know of somebody who used to be 430 lbs while training here, and has lost nearly 100 lbs since last november, thanks to his trainer.
All of the other trainers are of the highest quality, too. They know how to push you to do better without stressing you out overly much. The gym also offers a day-care service for parents who want to work out, but have no baby-sitter on hand.
The other gym goers are also very friendly and welcoming, so don't feel self conscious while working out here for the first time, we're all on the same path to self- improvement.
Trust me when I say that you are in good hands here.

Pretty disappointed... Lifetime is the priciest gym in the area. Today, ALL of the soap in the showers were filled with 90% WATER & 10% SOAP... They charge 179/mo and can't keep their soap stocked properly? At that price, the soap, shampoo, and towels should be stocked at all times....

The inappropriate behavior between the lifeguard managers and their employees is disgusting. There are children by the poolside who can see your mid-shift inappropriate touching and hear your inappropriate discussions about what you’re going do after work. Do better LifeTime…

Lifecafes worker Patty is very disrespectful towards workers as well as costumers. I used to go to the cafe every day after my lifts, but at Starbucks the workers don’t scream and curse amongst themselves. Very unprofessional.

If you are thinking of joining to use the pool(s) you better not have a 8-5 job. Lifetime caters to the kids and swim club activities and closes off all but 2 lanes between the hours of 4-6:45pm. Sometimes the entire pool is closed off. Spoiler alert: This is peak time when adults get out of work.
Flip side: the gym itself is 5 stars, lots of equipment, great classes, nice amenities.
But please, please change this schedule and let the kids and groups have use of the pool when adults are at work and not during your peak hours.

Love, love, love this place! It feels like walking into a luxury spa/hotel anytime. The little details of the front desk greeting you by name and the pleasant aroma in the air gets things off to a great start every time.
The facilities are amazing, Kids Academy is always look forward to by my kids and the classes and teachers are awesome. I feel encouraged to live healthier by just being present.
The conveniences of the inside and outside pools is great for catering to the entire family and the family bathrooms/changing area is so wonderful. The only thing that I wish they were more of our changing rooms with toilets… That gets tricky sometimes and a bench outside of the shower area but in the bathroom would be a great addition.
