Lift is a great place to get a work out. Classes are well organized with a lot of variety each day and customization depending on your ability and preference. The instructors are all high quality and give good advice. I also really appreciated their teacher discount!

LIFT is an awesome gym! I worked with DPT Ryan B as I was getting numbness in my foot while running. Ryan did a full body assessment and really listened to my concerns. He gave me great exercises and got me back to running with no numbness and greater strength! Would recommend these guys to anyone!

We have been strength training at LIFT as a family for 1.5 years now, and it has been a fantastic experience! Ryan has been a fantastic personal trainer who knows when to push and when to hold back. He along with the other coaches, Steven, Denis, Veronica and others — are super knowledgeable, fun and motivating! LIFT encourages and brings together a community of people working out together in a friendly, encouraging environment. We are in much better shape and fitness thanks to Ryan and the team at LIFT!

Highly Recommend LIFT Training Collective!

I highly recommend LIFT Training Collective for families looking to get active together! My kids, who used to dread exercise, now beg to sign up for classes—and they’re always ready to go before I am. It’s incredible how the positive atmosphere at LIFT has shifted their attitude toward fitness.

The coaches—Denis, Ricky, Ryan, Steven, and the entire team —are what truly set LIFT apart. Their energy and support are unmatched. I switched from a fancier gym nearby and haven’t looked back. The sense of community and encouragement here is second to none.

Although I usually avoid group classes due to my fitness level, the supportive atmosphere at LIFT makes me feel comfortable and motivated. The coaches and members are so welcoming that I look forward to showing up and challenging myself. It’s a gym where everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes, feels inspired.

If you’re looking for top-notch coaching and a true fitness community, LIFT Training Collective is the place to be!

After decades at a desk job, my muscle structure and strength were completely out of balance. LIFT one-on-one training has restored my balance and strength, taking years off my age. My trainer Ryan is perhaps a decade ahead of the industry in analyzing physical issues and tailoring training to address them. LIFT is unique - I highly recommend it.

Went to my first class this weekend and LOVED it! There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find. The facility was clean and full of new equipment. Adrian was a knowledgable instructor and provided helpful guidance as we moved through the exercises. It was a great full body workout. All around really enjoyed my experience.

I've been a member for 3 months and attend the group class 2 to 3x a week. Over 50 female looking to strength train in a gym that wouldn't be intimidating. Environment is clean, welcoming and supportive. I enjoy the energy of the group class and appreciate the structure and variety of exercises offered. The trainers are encouraging, answer questions and modify exercises as needed for each individual. The music is energizing too. LIFT has been the springboard to improving my health overall and finally dropping the over 50 stuck weight!

As a middle-aged athlete with a growing number of chronic injuries and wear-and-tear, I have long looked for a local gym that not only had good (and wise) training programing, but also could actively partner with me on addressing some of the chronic injuries that can flare up. I had high hopes in initially checking out LIFT, since a couple of their trainers were also near the end of their doctoral PT training. LIFT has been better than those hopes. I feel like I've found real partners at LIFT who have the training and therapeutic chops to work with me and adjust as needed to keep me going, always with the enthusiastic goal of making sure I can do what I physically want to.

Also, and nearly as important, everyone at the gym is friendly, welcoming, encouraging, and with absolutely zero attitude. A fantastic place to train and heal!

I've been at a lot of gyms in my time and LIFT is one of the very best. The coaches are very knowledgeable and really attuned to members' needs and adjust the workouts accordingly; the community is inclusive and welcoming; and the space is bright and inviting. If you are thinking about joining, don't hesitate. You'll be really glad that you did.

I work out / run every day for 10 + years. By word of mouth I found this gem. Feeling the need for a little spice in my routine, I decided to give it a try. The space is new, clean and beautiful. I love the garage doors that open giving the crisp of the morning air I get when running! The group classes are small and the members are as amazing as the trainers. No intimidation, everyone is there for the same reason and very willing to lend a word of encouragement with a friendly smile. From beginners to advanced athletes, if you need some spice or are recovering from an injury, the trainers at Lift are ALL amazing. They will get and keep you on the road of movement. I'm hooked.

Thank you

Lift is the first gym I've found in my adult life where I feel supported and motivated by the coaches and the classmates to push myself to be and do better. I came home from my first class sore but raving about it.

The environment is welcoming and accepting; all of the coaches and participants greet you with a smile, and engage with you as a person, not just as a client.

Beyond that, the coaches do a wonderful job at taking my novice abilities and giving me small tweaks to help me stay safe and to push me just a little bit further.

The classes are structured to allow each participant to work to their own individual level, but still get the encouragement and support of everyone around.

In all, Lift is great, and I recommend them highly!

More Than a Gym, It's a Family - My Experience at LIFT TRAINING COLLECTIVE:

Stepping into LIFT TRAINING COLLECTIVE, you quickly realize this isn't your typical gym experience. Here, it's not about mindless repetitions and anonymous workouts; it's about genuine guidance, structured progress, and a heartfelt community.

The coaches are the gym's backbone, boasting not only impressive credentials but a deep understanding of individual needs. They're not here to impose unrealistic or generic goals. Whether you're on a journey to lose weight, gain muscle, balance both, or simply embrace a healthier lifestyle, they're equipped with the knowledge and dedication to guide you through. Their expertise shines brightest in their ability to push you - not to the point of exhaustion, but to the edge of your own unique potential.

At LIFT, every lift, squat, and sprint is a collaborative effort between you and your trainer. They're there, every step of the way, ensuring each movement is executed with precision, honoring your body's capabilities and limits. They celebrate your victories and support you through challenges, making your well-being and progress their top priority.

But what truly sets LIFT TRAINING COLLECTIVE apart is the sense of belonging. The coaches, with their unwavering support, become more than just fitness instructors; they become family. They foster an environment where members motivate one another, forging friendships that transcend gym walls.

From personal experience with the coaches I know at LIFT, I've not only witnessed a transformation in my physical strength but also a boost in my overall confidence and happiness. I couldn't recommend LIFT TRAINING COLLECTIVE more to anyone looking to embark on or continue their fitness journey. This isn't just a place to work out; it's a place to grow, thrive, and belong.

I've had a bad relationship with fitness over the years. I'm the kind of person that halfheartedly joined planet fitness and wasted money and time flopping around on machines with no real clarity or direction on what I'm doing or whether it's working. Needless to say, this approach never really did much for me.

To say that LIFT has been a game-changer is an understatement. The coaches are welcoming, friendly, and above all they truly know their stuff. Every class is meticulously planned out and gives me the structured workout I actually need. No more half measures! The coaches do a great job explaining every movement, and they're always ready with an alternative if something is too easy or too hard. Under their guidance, I'm starting to make real progress towards my fitness goals. I look and feel better than I have in years, and I've only been going for a couple of months. I can't wait to see the results a year from now.

Getting in shape is hard work and there's no escaping that, but the community at LIFT makes it fun and something I genuinely look forward to every day. I just went on vacation for a week and I was completely dumbfounded that I actually *missed the gym* while I was gone. I've never felt that about exercise in my entire life!

It's never too late to start getting healthier, and this is a tremendous way to do it. LIFT has taken my poor hapless zero experience self and turned me into someone that enjoys strength training. Take a trial and see if it's for you!

TLDR:
Effective, fun strength-training in welcoming and motivational environment

1. People - the coaches and members are great. Inviting and fun, and coaches are very good at making progressions/ regressions for workouts which makes the gym good for both experienced and beginners!

2. Programming - functional fitness program incorporating barbells, dumbbells, bodyweight, circuit. I've been doing all sorts of workouts (crossfit, calisthenics, running, hockey) for years and I'm still learning what some of these movements are (usually am unfamiliar with a funky core stabilizing movement). Workouts are 1 hour full body with a warm up, strength, and circuit. Also due to programming you are never waiting for equipment! Very efficient 1hr workout.

3. Facility and equipment is beautiful - I don't know any other gym that has so much natural light. Also, all the equipment is shiny and clean. Just a really nice space!

Highly highly highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this gym about 3 months ago, gave the free trail a whirl & have been going ever since! The coaches (and other clients for that matter) have been incredibly approachable making it feel like you’ve been a part of this gym for years. So far, it has been the perfect combination of judgment free lifting and accountability. I've been impressed with the ability of the coaches to cater to different ability levels within the same classes so you always feel like you are pushing yourself safely.

I've been going to LIFT for the past 4 months and have been working with these trainers for the past 8 months. I followed them to this gym because my experience with them has been so positive. They create a supportive environment while also encouraging me to push my own limits. I chose LIFT because of the small-class sizes and full-body workouts designed by knowledgeable coaches. I knew that this structure would help hold me accountable and reach my health goals. If you are looking for a gym in the area, I would definitely recommend LIFT!

As a physician I recognize the importance of regular strength training as an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. I also value personalized instruction that meets you where you are at and ensures proper form for both the health benefit and injury prevention. You can find these qualities at Lift Training Collective in Burlington.
I have been at Lift since its opening in 2023 and had worked with these coaches for several years prior to their opening Lift. I highly recommend it!! The community of members are fun, supportive and encouraging. The coaches are welcoming of all skill levels and ready to help and support each member to reach their goals. I can say that my fitness continues to improve as well as my bone density which is a testament to the benefit of this type of exercise!

I started working with Ryan a couple months ago after dealing with chronic knee pain and core weakness for years. I found that my previous experience with physical therapy didn’t address my nagging pain and lingering weakness, and while I am functional, I still wanted to get stronger and be pain free. Ryan has been great about listening to my concerns and making a plan that addresses my limitations while still working towards my goals. In the time I have been working with him, he’s been attentive to me and receptive to my feedback, and I am already making substantial progress. I would highly recommend Ryan to anybody dealing with pain that is willing to put in the work towards recovering and progressing towards their goals.

I was searching for a new gym after recently moving to Burlington for work. I was looking for a gym with strength/cross training, group classes, coaches, and a positive vibe (all without breaking the bank) - and that's exactly what I found at LIFT. I am in my early 20s and a national competitor in my sport, so I was looking for a way to train hard with a coach while being part of a community in a new town. The coaches here are knowledgeable, approachable, and fun to be around. The coaches + the people training you train with make it easy to stick to your workout routine (and to wake up for those 6am classes!) You don't have to worry about coming up with your own workout regime, you can just show up and have a great workout. The coaches are very mindful of any injuries as well and will help you modify movements to work with your body. They also offer Open Gym time if you are not looking to be part of a class that day but still would like to use the facility. This has been an amazing experience so far and I'm excited to see this gym grow!

This is the BEST gym to train at. I’ve worked with all the coaches at another gym and I'm so happy they now have their own facility.
Very friendly team who make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. The workouts include strength movements, functional movements and some cardio which is the perfect combo for a well-rounded training session. You are always encouraged to work your hardest by the coaches and the other members, but all movements are scalable if/when needed. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and program each class to not only make you stronger but to help your body move better. Not only is the training top notch but the sense of community here is what tops it off. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great workout and a place that feels like a second home.

I love high-intensity training and have visited many boxes and gyms. These coaches are the very best at getting top fitness results without the injury cycle that often comes from over training. I have worked with this group of coaches for years and I am very excited about the new gym location. At 48 I am in better shape than ever, and have been able to maintain my fitness in the most fun way possible. As an older athlete I am prone to injuries, but these coaches know how to work around that and how to rehabilitate while also making great progress. I love how the people here are so welcoming to all ages and abilities, and how supportive of each other all the people are when working out together.

I can't wait for this gym to open. The owners and coaching team here come from a predecessor gym, where I learned so much from them. They worked with me -- male in his 50s with a desk job -- to get me what I really needed: injury-free, strength training with a focus on range of motion. My mobility is so much better since I started with them; it's exactly what I needed, but didn't know I needed. Equally important, the community here is amazing -- supportive, welcoming, and motivating. It's the highlight of my morning to go to the gym, see my friends, and get in a good workout.

This is the gym every community wants and every athlete hopes to find. The instructors are approachable and make it a place where you want to go, where it’s fun to work out, and where they will push you to be the best you can be .

The coaches actually listen to what you want, and tailor workouts and programs to meet your needs. These coaches know their stuff, they are down to earth, easily approachable, and will take the time to explain each movement.

You’ll end up showing up not just for yourself, but for the friends you’ll make, and the sense of community the coaches work hard to create.

As an added bonus, they have some of the best playlists around!

I’m counting the days until this gym opens! I’ve worked with all these coaches at another gym (for years!) and they are the best strength and fitness coaches you could hope for: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, professional, constantly learning and improving, and eager to design a program that works for clients. Also, they all truly like one another and get along, which it turns turns out is really important when you’re looking for a gym with a welcoming, supportive, and fun vibe.

I’m a middle-aged mom and these coaches know how to meet me where I’m at physically: pushing me when I need a nudge to increase the weight and challenge myself, and/or helping me learn or modify a strength movement when I need that too.
