Lifted Fitness + Performance is the Boston area’s premier strength and conditioning facility, providing a gym experience that delivers real results within a fun and welcoming team environment. Our full-body workouts incorporate free weights, kettlebells, ropes, med balls, sleds and more to increase strength, torch body fat, build muscle, and jack up your metabolism. There is no long-term commitment, contract, or enrollment fee required, and we are one of the only gyms close to the city where every trainer is a Certified Functional Strength Coach. Great place for any level of lifter, all the instructors were super nice. I left for travels and only did one month, but I look forward to signing up when I get back! The workouts are a good combination of cardio and lifting and they encourage you to increase your lifts or reps each class which really helped, I felt myself getting stronger by the week!

I can't say enough good things about Lifted! From the space and instructors to the programming, 10/10 - no notes. The equipment and space is new, clean, and well taken care of. The instructors are knowledgeable, accommodating to all levels, and personable. The programming is comprehensive yet still efficient, prioritizing building strength safely. Logging your weights holds you accountable and motivates you to push yourself.

Joining the Lifted community has been one of the best things to come out of 2024. Having tried all sorts of workouts (at home and in person), I can say that the programs and workouts Lifted provides is by far the best balanced and most motivational I have come across. The trainers and fellow members are overly welcoming and inclusive and I am hooked! I’ve noticed such a difference in my mindset, strength and balance in the gym and most importantly in everyday life. After one class you’ll be hooked!

I can't say enough good things about Lifted!! From the moment you walk in, the amazing staff makes you feel right at home. They genuinely care about each individual's progress and well-being, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable during workouts.

Two years ago I was introduced to Lifted Boston and I have been hooked ever since. I recently moved to the south shore and was excited Lifted had opened a location there so I could continue working out with them. The trainers are amazing- they really help you get the most of your workouts and are great at helping with modifications (helped me through a 6 month recovery from a shoulder injury). 10/10 recommend :)

I was thrilled when Lifted opened a location on the South Shore! All the Trainers are so knowledgeable and personable. They are very accommodating and can provide modifications for any injuries. When I moved out of Southie and stopped attending the Boston location, I hopped around to different gyms but never found another gym where I felt so comfortable. The combination of strength and conditioning classes is a perfect mix.

Whether you’re new to free weights or a seasoned lifter, these classes are perfect for all backgrounds. I can’t say enough good things about the owners (Mo and Pat) and the rest of the staff.

Where to even begin…Lifted is everything the south shore needed! The coaches are knowledgeable and are so good about correcting form. They really learn your fitness level and help you slowly increase weights and push yourself.
Every class is challenging but always have modifications if needed so truly any fitness level can attend
I can already tell I’m getting stronger and going outside my comfort zone because of this class!

This is the exact gym we’ve needed in the South Shore!
I’ve been following Lifted’s workout plan for 7 years and it’s the best way to start my day. It was the biggest thing I missed about the city when I moved - doing the workouts at home got the job done but it was just not the same quality of workout and fun experience without Mo, Pat, Mel and the workout buddies I’ve made over the years. It’s been so fun getting back into the gym with trainers I sincerely consider friends. Most of my prior Southie gym mates are now my South Shore gym mates as we’ve all moved over time - I think this sincerely highlights the fan following of Lifted!
The stations and equipment are top quality and always very clean (I know it’s a new facility, but can speak from experience in Southie). The music is BUMPING, which I swear makes me workout harder. The range of late 90s / early 2000 bangers to music fresh off the charts that I haven’t even heard of yet keep me on my game when I copy them making my own playlists. The 4-week cycle with strategic strength training and metabolic conditioning has main exercises where you can truly see yourself getting stronger over the weeks, yet the workouts are never monotonous because they rotate in so many different ways to work out targeted muscles. It amazing how legit of a workout I get in only 45 minutes - makes it easy to incorporate the class into my working-mom schedule. Last but not least, the pricing is very fair especially for unlimited classes, and with the class size being relatively small it’s a great deal to have a personal trainer right by your side.
When I first started in Southie, I lost 10 lbs and went down 1 dress size relatively quickly. Then over the years, my weight stayed the same and I went down another 2 dress sizes. I never really changed my diet either so I really owe it to being committed to going ~5x a week. The combination of my physical health and the benefit it has on my mental health is my key to success.

Lifted South Shore is the gym the South Shore needed! I have been bouncing around looking for gyms on the South Shore for the last few years and finally found my home!
It is large, clean and has all of the amenities one may need (water fountain, hair elastics, towels etc) in addition to all of the best equipment!
The coaches are amazing- it is clear from any conversation that they are knowledgable and trained in the field!
The combination of strength and conditioning classes makes each day different and the classes fly by! Only a few weeks in and I already feel stronger and leaner!
If you are looking for an awesome gym this is your spot!

Everyone in the South Shore is in for a treat with Lifted coming to town! I've been taking classes with Mel, Pat and Mo at the South Boston location for close to three years and am in the best shape of my life. No matter what fitness level you're at, if you commit to going 4x a week, I promise you will see results. Do yourself a favor and check this place out -- I sincerely can't recommend it enough!!

I am SO excited for Lifted South Shore! I have been training with Pat & Mo at Lifted in Southie for nearly 10 years and as I move to the South Shore, I can't imagine going anywhere else! I've been training with the owners of the Lifted family for the past 14 years and I can easily say working out with them is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I used to dread gyms and when I first began training, I could barely run a mile or pick up a kettlebell. My time at Lifted is now my favorite time of the week. Mo, Pat, Mel and all the trainers are so knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. They design each class to cater to all levels and it's the first time I've ever truly felt comfortable working out in a gym setting. I never knew I needed strength training until I started with them and now I can't imagine not incorporating it into my weekly routine. Not only have I become stronger but my long distance running has drastically improved and I've had less injuries. To say I'm excited for their South Shore location to open up is an understatement. I moved here 5 years ago and have continued to drive in to their Southie location weekly because their workouts are that good!
