Management needs to know this. I’ve mentioned this to the Front Ops Desk, not the guys who give out towels/scan your ID, but the ones behind the plexiglass. I’ve mentioned how the showers have Black Mold growing in them. Some of the shower faucets are broken so you can’t turn the shower off wasting gallons and gallons and gallons of water, students are expected to ONLY go to the website for ALL rules and expectations and options, etc. Whoever thought to use ONLY the website only for ALL rules and guidelines should be fired. When I brought this up to the OPs Desk/plexiglass the gentleman made it apparent I was the stupid one for not checking the website. I mentioned he could easily put up paper copies of all these options and stuff (ie being able to rent a locker) and I received more condescending talk.

Positives: The guys who give out towels like Harry are AWESOME!!! They are friendly, professional, helpful, and warm/kind. Promote them now!!

Hemenway is the nicer Harvard gym. This one has a plaque stating that Teddy Roosevelt lived there. Still a passably good place to lift. Two racks, one bench.

Outdated equipment, weird layout, but the best gym for weekend workouts as the Hemenway doesn't open until 10am and the Mac opens at 9am. Harvard seriously needs to update their athletic facilities and extend their hours of operation.

Unlike its cousin, Hemenway, the MAC is seldom crowded, and has a nice pool. There is not as much equipment, but this is usually not a problem.

This is a very good gym, if you can get access (Harvard-affiliates and their families). Many Harvard clubs have classes here (I did karate, boxing, and BJJ), there are also regular classes, a swimming pool, and all kinds of equipment.

The worst gym I have ever been. In fact, for a while, I could not believe this is a gym associated with Harvard. Even a gym in a random college I visited functions much better than this one.
