My son and daughter both attended gymnastics classes here, and every time I think about what they experienced, I still feel heartbroken. I’m also very upset with myself for not doing anything about it sooner. I guess the best thing I can do now is to leave this review.
My son was in the toddler class and had a terrible coach named Adrienne Callahan. Her communication with the kids was awful—she constantly made the children cry. Instead of letting toddlers have fun and release energy, this class caused them stress. She would even scare the kids during class and compare them to others by saying things like, “Look how xxx did it,” creating unhealthy competition. My son and many other children cried multiple times.
After transferring my kids from this terrible place full of untrained and unkind coaches to USA Gym Street, I finally understood what a real gymnastics school should be like. My children now attend their classes with love and excitement. I truly regret ever enrolling them in Mass Gymnastics in Waltham.
Mass Gymnastics really needs to train their coaches properly. Their communication with children is simply terrible. My daughter was in the preschool class and faced similar issues again, due to poorly trained, rude coaches who had no idea how to interact with young children.

Gymnastic place to have your kids get some exercise and stretching. They give existing enrolled kids preference for subsequent sessions and this you don't every time have to fight for getting them registered

The staff is great, hands down. They are safety oriented and they inspire my kids to go further when they’ve mastered their current skillset. I have been to other facilities recently and realized that this particular facility is in real need of updates. There are only two bathrooms that kids can use to change so the area with cubbies is where most children change with no privacy. Kids are in all manners of undress while parents, both men and women move in and out of the room. At other facilities and different summer camps, I’ve seen pop-up nylon changing stalls used. I love the high observation area if you’re lucky enough to get a seat at the window. They installed a TV for parents that are not so quick and it used to show different angles of the floor so you could see your kids. Now this TV is never working. Makeups are a PAIN. Emails go unanswered and you really have to push to get a makeup token if you miss a class. I wish this was all available in the portal like many other kids’ classes/activities. We love the instruction and format of the classes but streamlining a few things could make this facility even better.

I have been sending my kids here for summer camp from last two years , I drive half an hour to make it there every morning, but my girls like it so much and the fact that they’re learning a lot that I will do it again next year!!!

If I can give a zero, I would. I personally had a bad experience here. My child was actually kicked out on her first day do to her disability which in her case is Autism. The instructors actually told me to have her be quiet b/c she was disturbing the other kids and she was not even near the other kids and it was a beginners class. She just wanted to have fun and be a kid and learn no patience or kindness was demonstrated in my case. In my opinion, this place does not demonstrate inclusion for all regardless of disability, race, or gender..ect now I understand when Simone Biles said " if she had kids, she wouldn’t let her children do gymnastics"

I would recommend skipping the toddler classes unless you want your child to be a future gymnast. This is very much a serious gym and not much fun. If you want your toddler to have fun and burn some energy try elsewhere.

Great classes and teachers. Only issue is the classes fill up super fast and their isn't a lot of options for beginners later in the day. Only classes open were for the middle of the day which doesn't work for school-aged kids without pulling them from school.
