I’ve been in the physical space for 20+ years and Muscle Mind Movement is the first small group weight training gym I’ve ever wanted to invest in. Nicole’s knowledge, and the team she has behind her, know their stuff. The workouts are dynamic and challenging while the group of people are kind and welcoming. There are many different levels in the class yet you would never be able to tell with the smoothness the class is run. Awesome workouts that are available to dial back or go hard based on the day you’re having! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Great place for a group workout class. The workouts are very well designed that help improve body movement and strength. The workouts routine also change every few weeks, which makes it interesting and pushes ones limits. Its a courteous, clean and inviting place for beginners. Nicole (the trainer) is also really good at adapting the workouts depending on the individual and always provides feedback through the workout. My wife and I always enjoyed the classes.

I trained with Nicole for just over a year and loved it. The small classes allowed for individualized attention and Nicole always managed to keep track of my various aches and injuries and modify workouts accordingly. I met Nicole a few years back at another facility. I was so impressed with her knowledge on the human anatomy and being able to develop a program based on your individual needs . A year ago I heard she opened her own facility and I went running ! She continues to impress me with her program development. If you are looking for a top tier facility that offers high level program design in a small group training environment you should chose MMM for your fitness needs. Due to the smaller group size than some of the bigger gyms in the area, there is a focus on the individual which can be beneficial if you have modifications due to injury or to fit your personal training needs. The workouts are cross functional, so they are in line with the needs of a college athlete, or a person looking to maintain strength and stay fit. The individuals that train here are also an incentive to join, it is full of fun supportive people that encourage each other no matter what level anyone is at!

I have been training at Muscle Mind Movement for over a year now and I am happy to say that attending the weekly group sessions has become the highlight of my week.

It took me a long time to build up the courage to schedule an evaluation as I had been struggling with chronic injuries for years. I knew I needed to work with someone who was able to work around these injuries while keeping my long term goals in mind.

Nicole listened carefully to my concerns and crafted gentle, yet progressive programming that left me feeling great without exacerbating any injuries. Over time, her customized workouts helped me rebuild my confidence and sparked hope in me that I could recover and even grow my strength. Here I am a year later, feeling incredible and doing so many things that I used to avoid because of pain and weakness.

I love that I can safely participate in group training as Nicole will swap out exercises for me on the fly if she feels my body might do better with an alternate. I’ve been personal training with Nicole since September of 2022 and haven’t looked back since. I was a hockey player growing up and still play recreationally. I also enjoy snowmobiling, fishing, and being active with my nieces/nephews. Before starting my journey at MMM, I noticed that all the active things that brought me joy left me with lingering aches and pains. I decided it was time to start getting ahead and not let my body pay the price and slip away from me. Since training with Nicole, I feel so much better on the ice, I can even keep up with some of the college guys and recover much quicker. My overall stamina is better, and I generally feel much stronger and better day by day. Nicole is sharp (even on the fly) when adjusting to my needs and crafting workouts. If I have a lingering injury that pops up, we work around it, and I get a great workout regardless of what’s happening. On high-stress days, she pushes me just enough to get a “feel-good workout” but not so much that I have nothing left in the tank to conquer the rest of the day. If you’re on the fence about joining a gym, look no further, MMM is the place to be!

A truly remarkable program. I began with a referral from my Primary Care and then PT. As I was told to be "heading toward a unavoidable hip replacement". With MMM's keen attention to my precise needs and weaknesses, three years later my hip (without any surgery!) is essentially pain free and I have improved strength and flexibility across my whole body. Nicole is an incredible strength coach. She provides the guidance and motivation you want in your exercise. Ive been consistently exercising on my own since 2014. Throughout the years, I found myself always hitting a wall in my training. I’ve been to 4 different trainers around Boston to try to get me through my plateau of fitness, but was never able to get anywhere. Over the last year, I’ve been able to make improvements in both performance and lifts.

Nicole puts an incredible about of time and intention into her circuits. Every movement we do in class has a purpose. I really have enjoyed working one on one with Nicole as she helped me fix my movements and dysfunctional patterns.

Now that I’m taking her group classes, my exercise experience is next level! I’m always blown away by how much we get done in the 50 minute classes. Everyone in class is so warm and welcoming too. I can’t say more great things about Muscle Mind Movement. The space is clean and well organized. Everyone here has good gym etiquette which if you’re a lifter, you know how much that matters. If you’re truly trying to improve your quality of life, I HIGHLY recommend working with Nicole.

If you are looking to return to working out after a period of rest or injury, new to working out, or looking for a positive vibe change, Muscle Mind Movement provides an ideal environment with private, semi private, and small group training options. With client well being and safety a focal point, trainers provide guided strength training programs that while challenging are realistic and may be modified as needed to address limitations and training history. I started at MMM eight months ago after a long break from any structured gym or workout program due to multiple injuries and persistent limitations. Concerned about the health risks of limited physical activity, I reached out to MMM and learned that prior injury limitations did not necessarily preclude me from participating in a gym program. MMM has been able to provide a training program that can be modified as needed and has actually helped strengthen areas around those prior injury points. I could not be happier with the MMM strength training program and have seen consistent progress in just eight months. I very much look forward to gym days now and seeing what is next as the program evolves to continually challenge and keep it interesting. I’m very grateful to have found Nicole and her MMM team. Not only have I come to enjoy working out, but the transformation of my body in just two months of training with Nicole is unbelievable. My confidence has increased, and I am stronger than I have ever been. I look forward to continue training with Nicole!
