My husband and I have been training with Tim Concannon & Nothing Stronger for over 8 years! We thought it was an impossible challenge when we asked Tim to train us together, as we both came to him with very different health & fitness goals. But because of Tim's expertise and the small size of his class (no more than 6 people), it worked! We still get one on one guidance and support, but in a group setting. Tim and his team keep you engaged and encouraged through every workout!

To round out their Gym and Training Team, they also have the best Sports Medicine department on the South Shore! Do you have an issue that is stopping you from training or doing all the movements you want within a workout? Dr. Jennifer Concannon is nothing short of amazing! She is smart, driven and caring (when is the last time you used those words to describe your Doctor?!) She will get to the root of your issue, and will work with the training team to modify your workouts while she is getting you back to your best self!

We couldn't imagine not having Nothing Stronger as part of our workout regime. We look forward to the training sessions - not just for the results, but also for the fun and the camaraderie that is the entire Nothing Stronger community! Highly Recommend!

I'd highly recommend Nothing Stronger. As someone who lifts weights, I've found that this gym not only helps you get stronger but also prevents injury. The classes are capped at a maximum of 6 people, so you're always getting personalized instruction. Tim Concannon and his staff do an incredible job incorporating effective stretches and mobility work alongside the weight exercises. This has made me not only feel stronger, but also move better and feel better in my daily life. I can't say enough about this gym.

I learned of Nothing Stronger Gym while in physical therapy related to a hip surgery. PT was going well, but I was concerned if I would back to baseline strength in that hip/leg area - AND - actually, wanted to increase my baseline strength on BOTH sides. In my opinion, this gym picks up where PT left off.

Not necessarily being a 'gym' person, I was motivated, but a little reluctant to have my assessment that NSG offers. I began 3 days/week. Even though I take the small classes, I feel like I get 1:1 instruction.

I have gone for 2 months now and am pumped at the improvements! Not just the hip, but all over. Increased strength and flexibility. I stand taller than I did in the 3 1/2 yrs prior to hip surgery, not even knowing I was stooping a little because of tight muscles and pain.

Sometimes, sitting at home, I grouse about going. Once I arrive though, I feel welcomed and energized. The vibe is great.. the other clients nice.. Tim, Jenn and Jake (owners/trainers) are super nice, very approachable...and, I like the music playlist. :-)

Nothing stronger is a great atmosphere for working out. I stopped going to the gym years ago, felt terrible and wanted a place to go where someone would help me, and guide me through workouts, without hurting myself! 07/21/2025 Full Disclosure: I am 79 years old and had total right hip replacement surgery on March 4th and then spent a week thereafter in a rehab hospital. This was followed up by 4 weeks of at-home physical therapy and then another 7 weeks more at a brick & mortar therapy establishment. Although they released me as "rehabbed," I was not at all satisfied with my recovery results at that point. Their recommendation was to try a sports medicine facility in my town of Weymouth. That is how I met Jenn Concannon at Nothing Stronger, LLC. Jenn is the ultimate professional whose expansive knowledge base has afforded me the use of her deep tissue manipulation techniques, individualized stretching and floor exercises, and plenty of loving care, instruction, and encouragement. I am soooo much further along on my recovery journey as to be virtually pain free walking without a limp (no cane or walker), and also able to cut my own toenails again (finally) and put on my own socks and shoes without assistance devices! WoooHooooo!!! Thank You Jenn!! You are the BEST!!!

Can't say enough good things about Jenn, Tim and the staff at Nothing Stronger!
I went to see Jenn with shoulder issues that had me feeling miserable for a couple of years. It didn't take her long to figure out what the issue was, develop a plan, provide treatment and get me back to feeling great. I went from not being able to sleep or work out and feeling crappy to sleeping through the night, working out like I did 10 years ago and feeling much better.
Jenn has a great way about her. She's personable, knows when to tread lightly, and when to motivate and push you.
Before I saw her, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get back to working out and feeling better and, like most men, I put off doing anything about it.

My wife, who works out there, and daughter, who had Jenn help her hip and works out there, convinced me to give Jenn a shot at fixing me and thank god I did.

I started accountability coaching with Tim in May. Tim has helped me make small changes that have led to great results. My fiance and I both train at Nothing Stronger. We love it here. The gym is very welcoming. Tim does a great job of pushing when you need it or regressing exercises and giving you alternate things to do if you need to work around an injury or ache/pain. The gym is great for everyone, no matter your fitness level/ability or age. Tim caters the workouts to each individual.

I’ve been training with Tim since 2020. He helped get me ready for going to the fire academy and I was the strongest and fittest I had ever been going into the academy. He’s always very encouraging for whatever I am training for whether it’s something military related, prepping for the fire academy, or getting in shape for my wedding.

When they opened the new location, and Jenn opened her sports medicine practice I started seeing her for some tight muscles in my back and knee pain I was experiencing. She has a lot of techniques she uses to help get you out of pain and you can walk out feeling like a million bucks after one session.

Tim and Jenn are extremely dedicated to their clients and they make the gym feel like a family. They are always working on continually educating themselves so they can show up and be the best every day. I highly recommend anyone looking to improve their fitness in a fun and welcoming atmosphere to check out training at Nothing Stronger, and anyone experiencing pain needs to go see Jenn because she’s a magician when it comes to making you feel better!

A little over six months ago, I walked into Nothing Stronger with no clear idea of what to expect, but knowing that I needed to do something. I remember feeling uncertain, yet determined.

Within the first two months, I was able to climb a 4,000-foot peak in New Hampshire, which felt like a miracle considering I used to limp into the gym each day.

By the four-month mark, I had already gained strength, mobility, and confidence, thanks to the expert guidance of Jenn and Tim. After my first forest hike, I had difficulty descending the mountain. Jenn and Tim focused on strengthening those specific areas, and by November, I hiked up and down a similar mountain with no issues at all.

This gym has helped me build not just muscle and strength, but also confidence. I am beyond grateful for the support and progress I've experienced at Nothing Stronger.

We have known Tim and Jen for years. Tim trained our oldest son, Marty, back before Tim started nothing stronger. The base level of strength development and knowledge that Tim passed to Marty was amazing. Our middle son, Troy, was entering 8th grade this fall. We wanted to get him training with Tim, and found he was now owing his own gym - Nothing Stronger. The work Tim did with Troy was again nothing short of amazing. My teenage son began training with Tim at Nothing Stronger at the end of the summer, and absolutely loves it. Tim, the owner, structures a program tailored to each individuals unique needs. My son has really appreciated the time to focus on doing things “the right way” before progressing. The training sessions are focused, with specific goals and incredibly organized. Each session offers a little variety, helping keep it both fresh and working on different types of training. I cannot speak highly enough of the Nothing Stronger team and community. I have been visiting the gym for around nine months and have made significant improvements in my physical health, I'm now stronger than I have been since college and am able to play tennis at a high level day after day. Tim balances the need to make sure our workouts are done safely while still pushing members to reach their individual goals. The gym provides opportunities to visit around your schedule and every small group is filled with hard working, friendly folks. I see Tim twice a week for personal training. I have arthritis in my feet and knees with one knee already replaced and bursitis in my hip. I told Tim I want to keep the rest of my joints and that is what we are working on. I work on strength and mobility. I am much stronger and I have much more stamina. As a college athlete, I have been around a ton of different coaches and trainers, and Tim’s knowledge and dedication is at the top of the list. i have been using a one on one personal trainer for the past few years… in large part as i’m over 70 and very focused on correct form as the possibility of getting injured rises as one gets older. my next door neighbor said he recently switched from a one on one trainer to Tim Concannon and his small group setting and was very happy . so i gave Tim a try…. and couldn’t be happier. proper form is emphasized and the 6 person group is small enough to give the feel of the more expensive one on one trainer. when i started with Tim, i was struggling to get over a 2 month case of plantar fasciitis. not only were the group exercises tailored to my foot injury, i got PT from Tim’s sports therapist wife that cleared up the plantar fasciitis within 2 weeks. nice combination.

My wife raved about Jenn and Tim at Nothing Stronger for long time. I heard about how great it is and joined in January. It has been a great experience, Jakub my trainer is excellent, attentive, and very knowlegable. He makes a 6AM start a lot of fun. I am in and out in 1 hour and it flies by. The gym equipment is new, the facility is clean and very large. This is small group personal training. There is no waiting for equipment or trying to figure out what to do next, they have your custom plan worked out and ready, all you have to do is show up, have fun and get healthy.

I had a great physical therapy experience with Jen. I saw her for a problem I was having with my hip. Jen assessed exactly what was going on and how to approach therapy. She is well educated, very knowledgeable, and capable of solving a multitude of problems using a variety of therapy techniques. She takes the time to really listen to patients concerns and create the appropriate therapy plan for each individual and will work with you until your issue is solved to your satisfaction. I have been working out at Nothing Stronger Gym for a little over 3.5 months. I chose Nothing Stronger because they have tailored workouts and modifications for individuals needs. Tim, the owner, is always present and gives demonstrations of the proper posture and techniques for the most effective exercises. Tim is very positive and makes everyone feel welcome and is flexible if you must change or reschedule your workout, their on-line scheduling system is simple and easy for customers to book or change appointments. After my workouts, I feel improvements in my fitness levels and strength training boost my immune system which has prevented me from getting sick over these winter months. Full disclosure, Tim is my brother (and his first brilliant idea was marrying Jenn) so surely this review cannot help but be tinged by bias. I have watched Tim nurture and grow this little idea he had for a gym into this incredible community centered around fitness, positivity, and accessibility and truly it is astounding.

But I’m not here for him but rather my brilliant sister-in-law, Jenn. Five days before I was to leave for a 10 day trip to Europe I managed to tear my calf muscle to the point of not being able to walk. I texted Jenn in a panic and hobbled my way to her. After two sessions, I was back to being able to walk (albeit slow) but within a week I was almost back to baseline and comfortably walking around seeing the sights of London, Belgium, and Amsterdam. I am so grateful I reached out and went down to see Jenn. Without her I would have been unable to enjoy my trip! Highly recommend seeing her at any stage of injury, but especially in those acute moments so she can quite literally ease your pain.

My son has been working with Tim for about 6 months now and loves it. He specifically likes that Tim trains with each person individually. Everyone has their own focus and goes at their own pace. If my son is going to miss for a week, Tim gives him things to work on and checks in with him. As a parent of a teenager, I like that Tim is teaching him the right way to do strength training - it's not about lifting as much weight as possible! I can't say enough good things about Nothing Stronger Gym. Joined about six months ago and have absolutely loved the classes and the results. I finally decided after the doctor said I needed to lose weight and lower my glucose level to switch from all-cardio training to weight training. Both my weight and glucose levels went down significantly. I feel better, sleep better, and as a bonus my golf game has improved! I have been working out with Tim in the gym for over a month. As a 53 year old woman who has never used much more than a treadmill at a gym, I was a little apprehensive. I knew there were some other people there who were super fit, but I decided to try it anyway. I have never felt intimidated, just encouraged! My 18 year old son and my 17 year old niece also work with Tim and are very happy about it. I have also been seeing Jenn for dry needling and cupping and I'm truly amazed at how well it has worked on my hamstring/piriformis pain. Jenn is extremely knowledgeable, but down to earth as well. I've had dry needling done twice by Jenn. She listens to each detail of what is bothering you (for me it was my elbow and plantar fasciitis) and is so attentive to your needs. Sorry for the long post - I have belonged to many gyms over the years but never lasted long at any of them and you would most definitely never find me in the free weights sections. I was strictly a cardio girl, thought the only way to loose weight was through cardio. After being an athlete playing basketball in high school and college, I’ve struggled with my weight most of my adult life after getting married and kids! Losing and gaining weight was a vicious cycle, too intimidated to enter a gym at this point I cycled on my Peloton in the privacy of my home. This past year I began what was going to be my last weight loss journey and wanted to do it the right way. Incorporating cardio, nutrition and strength. We heard about Nothing Stronger through friends who were members. Still very self conscious about working out with others I spoke to Tim on the phone who asked about my history and I immediately felt comfortable and excited to implement this next phase. The small group workouts helped alleviate my anxiety. Tim created a personal workout to match where I was mentally and where my body was physically. I never felt defeated because my program was built on what I could do and as I got stronger my routine/program progressed.
With this progression I experienced some pain in my lower back. Tim noticed this discomfort and immediately adjusted that session’s workout. After a few sessions with same pain, Tim referred me to his partner and wife Jenn who provides Athletic Training Services. Jenn is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her field. She diagnosed my injury immediately and explained it in a way I could understand. It wasn’t a back injury but rather pain being caused by lack of mobility and flexibility in my hips. Jenn provided Dry Needling and Myofacial Decompression (cupping) which helped instantly with pain. She provided exercises to do at home as well. Jenn and Tim collaborated on my injury and how to move forward and keep me in the gym. Tim created programs that helped to build that strength and support and mobility that I needed. It was a slow process but I am now back to where I was never having missed a workout. I am stronger because of Jenn and Tim’s methods and collaboration.
I am beyond grateful to have found the Concannons and Nothing Stronger. I think if I had to stop these trainings I would have quit my journey AGAIN! Instead I have consistently lost weight, got stronger, and can feel my body changing. Nothing Stronger is more than the name of the gym it really has become a way of life. Thank you Tim and Jenn!!
