Yoga studioAbout the Club
On The Mat Yoga Studio has been around since 2002. We have welcomed and taught students of all yoga levels and abilities, from brand new yogis to veteran teachers. At On the Mat, we appreciate that every day is different and that every body is different. Although yoga certainly can be physically challenging, the more important challenge comes in your ability to quiet your mind. When you step onto your yoga mat, ask yourself if you can give your practice your full attention. Everything else will be waiting for you when you step off your mat. Yoga is your time to devote yourself to YOU.

Fabulous studio. The best teachers. Such a community resource. Many antes could be teachers also, so there are plenty of folks to learn rom. Welcoming to beginners, stiff athletes, older students. Glad to be able to attend.

LOVELY. Absolutely a lovely, beautiful class and a lovely instructor. Today's Restoration and South Bath workshop was an amazing experience, relaxing through and through to the core, and I would wholeheartedly suggest taking a class with Rachel. I hope she'll be teaching at OTM this summer!!!
Hips and Hamstrings classes on Friday's at Noon with Ori Kilner. Ori is an amazing instructor! Her classes have a combination of physical, mental and spiritual aspects that realign and relax your body, mind and soul. Always such a blessing to be able to attend Ori's classes at OTM.

By far my favorite yoga studio, and all of the instructors that teach there. Their energy is calm, reflective, and knowledgeable and inspiring to name a few attributes to start with...

We are so lucky to have this gem of a studio here in Concord. I love so many of the classes. But Liz is one of my favorite teachers. She has such a calm and encouraging demeanor. I had been away from yoga since the COVID pandemic. She remember me and made me feel right at home, easing my way back into practice. As always, I left feeling calm, grounded, and peaceful. She’s wonderful!

If you are already a yogi or just looking for improving flexibility, I would recommend checking out OTM. I started with the 2-week trial; which lets you sample all of their classes. They offer a diverse selection and there is something for everyone. I think the atmosphere is very approachable, so even if you don't think your physique matches some imaginary yoga aesthetic (most of us), it's a positive and encouraging space. The best way I can sum up my experience there is I always leave feeling great!

Excellent instructors - you will feel like you’re in good hands. I’ve been going to “yoga for athletes and inflexibles” classes for over five years and appreciate how there’s always a mix of people of different abilities and ages in attendance. The instructors give options for how to adjust poses to your own body’s needs. I always leave feeling that much taller and lighter. Highly recommend.

On the Mat is a fantastic studio with amazing instructors. As someone who has been to probably a dozen different studios over the years, this is definitely one of the best. The facility is nice, the hot yoga is actually hot, but most of all the instructors deliver challenging and engaging classes week after week (I typically do Flow classes). Highly recommend On the Mat!

I have been taking classes at On The Mat for many years and love it there. I've been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and have been to quite a few studios during this time. At OTM, I always feel safe and comfortable with the instructors, who are seasoned and knowledgeable. There's a type of class for every mood, from a challenging heated (but not too hot) flow to slow flow to Hip and Hamstring-focused classes to Yin Yoga. Everyone is warm and friendly, there's no sense of pretentiousness or showiness here, and it truly feels like a space where all are welcome. This feels like the kind of studio that made me fall in love with yoga years ago. I highly recommend them to anyone new to yoga or to seasoned practitioners looking for a reputable studio in the area.

OTM offers a wide range of yoga and stretching sessions days/evenings and weekends. "Yoga Stretch for Athletes and Inflexibles" is a terrific mix of stretches, balance exercises and basic yoga poses. Liz is an excellent instructor for this well-paced session (in studio and virtual) with a great sense of timing/flow and good humor. Highly recommended.

On the Mat studio has terrific classes with very good instructors. I love the virtual feature to feel included in a class, but also to be able to do a good yoga work out from home or away on vacation. Thanks for top quality programs!

I started a yoga practice ten years ago and took my first class with Ramsey at On the Mat. I’m still there today and just as enthusiastic about my practice. This is a great yoga studio— teachers pay attention to the students’ needs. The space is clean and safe (Covid rules are clear). Plus, the virtual classes and outdoor classes have kept me sane during Covid. Can’t say enough good things about On the Mat!!

Since the lock down, I've been taking the classes online and I love them! Every teacher is knowledgeable, warm and soooo good. They also get to know you personally! In this day of rush, rush, that is really special.

On the Mat Yoga in Concord, MA has been a lifesaver! I have been practicing there since 2015. They offer a variety of classes at a range of times with a great group of teachers -- each with their own style. Their ability to pivot to virtual classes when the pandemic hit was a lesson in resourcefulness, flexibility, adaptability, and calm. Just what you would expect from a great yogi! I am so grateful for the current hybrid classes and look forward to joining in-studio when it is safe. I could not recommend them more strongly. If you have questions, ask Ramsey. She is the best!!!

I have been going to OTM for about 6 yrs now, and have been very pleased with everything about it! The teachers are great, the studio is clean and spacious and they are always offering different types of classes and workshops. Since Covid, Ramsay (the owner) has gone above and beyond to find safe ways for us to practice including outdoor classes. I highly recommend checking out On The Mat!!

I've been going to on the mat for 6 or 7 years. Before covid it was a beautiful studio in Concord. The classes were varied (from hard and hot to gentle) so you could easily challenge or restore. Add covid hit, Ramsey and her team did an incredible job shifting to virtual yoga (and an approach to the studio that feels safe and accessible). Highly recommend OTM (and it's a great way to help support a really beautiful local business).

I've been going to "On The Mat Yoga" for the past seven and have been to many studios in southern California as well. This is an outstanding place with wonderful instructors who make it a total
mind and body experience.
For the past year I have been able to enjoy virtual yoga classes from "On The Mat" all year around from the comfort of my home, whether in California or Massachusetts. I hope virtual classes continue forever.
The ease of getting online and doing a virtual class is wonderful.
The instructors are able to connect with clients in a personal way
while doing it safely.
I would highly recommend this studio to any yogi.

Lovely space. Warm, knowledgeable teachers. Zoom offerings have been a lifesaver during the pandemic. I especially appreciate how the teachers give personalized feedback and pointers in virtual classes, so you feel connected and motivated. Ramsay and Einat are the best!

Love this studio: while the space is beautiful, it is the teachers (and greeters!) who make it such a special spot. Whatever your level, they are ready to welcome, challenge and inspire you in your practice. I have been to many studios and count this among best....feel so fortunate to live close to such a gem.

I have been practicing at On The Mat for years. I love the variety of classes and the friendly, communal atmosphere. There is something for everyone there. I love my "old favorites" classes, but it's always fun to discover a new teacher. My week would not be complete without at least one OTM class.

This studio has been my exclusive “yoga home” since I moved to Concord in 2016. The class schedule is robust, the quality and variety of teaching styles is high, and it’s rarely overcrowded. Truly a gem.

I love On The Mat! The teachers are experienced, wonderful, spiritual and a joy to follow! The greeters are so friendly and nice! And this was the first Yoga studio I went to when I moved to this area 8 years ago and I will never leave! It’s also the only yoga studio where the greeters and teachers actually greet me by name and know when they haven’t seen me recently! I feel cared for emotionally as well as physically!

I’m new to yoga and have tried a number of classes at the studio. The instructors are all welcoming and patient with newbies like me and do a good job of describing the positions and providing alternatives for those less advanced. I especially recommend Sarah’s classes!

I am not good at the practice of yoga but that being said I love coming to class , especially Ramsey's Yoga Stretch for Athletes and Inflexibles. I WAS an athlete now I am just plain inflexible but find this class remarkable . I have learned so much about what works best for my body and leave class feeling wonderful . Very professional staff and not intimidating . Couldn't recommend them more !

On the Mat Yoga is a studio with a high caliber of instruction. I regularly attend class with Amy, Ori and Linda whenever I can. The teachers at OTM has varied approaches and training thus, they all bring something unique and which they've studied in depth over time. I've learned so much from their thoughtful sequencing and delivery, and no matter who I take class from, I always leave feeling worked, grounded, and balanced. As a somatic movement teacher myself, it's great to have a studio close-by where I can draw on the vast knowledge of others.
